Her night had been going well up to this point. She had managed to get out of work, then done some work only to have things go perfectly. Coming soon to her location was a perfect specimen that would be incredibly valuable to her in the coming days. A fight had broken out in one of the Village's parks, she honestly despite all these years of her living didn't know which one, and a burly man (fat guy) of incredible power had been defeated by a group of local shinobi. Why she would want the loser of this altercation was, well self-evident. If you had to ask why then you wouldn't get it. Passing through her hang out, choosing to ignore the smell of grass for some reason, she went to her room and switched out her KMP uniform for a little black dress and matching sneakers. Exiting her room she found the secret door she had installed and walked over toward it. Granite was here somewhere she suspected, Makoto was on the roof, and she didn't believe that anyone else was in the base so she figured she was alone enough to safely open it without repercussion. Beyond the secret door was a small staircase that lead to a small room with an adjoining prison cell. This is where she was going to spend the next few days she supposed as she awaited her colleges arrival.

About twenty minutes later two men in prison officer outfits entered the room (Entering from here) and greeted her. "Ah, seems your ready for us Chief." the older of the men greeted as he took his hat off his head. The younger man didnt' say a word an instead just simply saluted. Behind them a loud buzzing could be heard. This was from the swarm of insects being used to transport the large man mentioned earlier. He was awake now but unable to move due to the seals on his body preventing him from lifting his limbs. The swarm moved the man into the cell and Amarante slammed the cell door behind him. Now things could get underway...

Description: Target is 1 Creature. Range is 20 meters. Duration is 5 hours per Class Level. User will leash another soul to them and it does only what the user asks of it. User creates a bond between the user and another. User can control the actions of any humanoid creature through a telepathic link that the user establishes with the subject’s mind. If the user and the subject have a common language, the user can generally force the subject to perform as the user desires, within the limits of its abilities. If no common language exists, the user can communicate only basic commands, such as “Come here,” “Go there,” “Fight,” and “Stand still.” User knows what the subject is experiencing, but the user does not receive direct sensory input from it, nor can it communicate with the user telepathically. Once the user has ave given a dominated creature a command, it continues to attempt to carry out that command to the exclusion of all other activities except those necessary for day-to-day survival (such as sleeping, eating, and so forth). Because of this limited range of activity, a Sense Motive check against Difficult Difficulty can determine that the subject’s behavior is being influenced by an enchantment effect. After about twenty minutes of waiting the man in the cell began to stir from his slumber, not that he was sleeping by choice of course. When he awoke he found his limbs all tied down by seemingly invisible chains, it was if something was pressing down on his body with an incredible amount of weight. He couldn't even budge. "What is this?" he boomed as he caught sight of Amarante and two officers standing before his cell. Amarante told him straight, "Shut up!" It was no suggestion, it was an order filled with authority. The girls very soul carried weight with these words but to the man, it meant nothing. "Screw you! I'll speak and shout all I want!" he insisted but Amarante wasn't having any of it. Being mindful of just what she was going to say and how to say it she cast out a vicious look, her eyes glaring daggers. She could cut with this glare but it wasn't enough for this man.

"Shut up!" her voice wasn't loud but it was enough to let the man know she was serious, it wreaked with authority. She was a proud police officer after all. The man spat in her direction and repeated himself. "Screw you." He thought himself a classy man but in this situation, he wasn't himself. He felt caged (he was) and trapped (he was). His natural air of confidence was gone, replaced with fear and desperation but he wasn't a coward, he wasn't going to back down. I'll talk and shout all I want you bitch." Amarante was getting agitated. She felt something inside her, something she hadn't felt before. She felt within herself. A need to have complete and utter control of this person. She repeated herself - "Shut up..."

"Shut up shut up shut up shut up!" Amarante couldn't help but feel something well up in her chest. It wasn't emotion, it wasn't anger, it wasn't frustration. It was, power! Something inside her was coming forward, something game changing, but it wasn't there yet. "No!" the man shouted back at her. "Lalalala! I'll say what I want, lalalala!" he continued to repeat the tune, trying to be as annoying as possible. In his mind, the only way to have control of the situation was to ensure that Amarante had as little as possible so he did everything he could to ensure she didn't control his behaviour. Amarante however, was beginning to find the source of her power. Inside her body a reaction was occurring, her soul was changing almost. Like an explosion within herself something erupted forth and two words left her lips - "shut up."

It wasn't as loud as her other attempts at speaking however it carried with it something the others didn't. Like an echo, or a sonic boom, something followed these words with a sudden but nonexistant boom. They reached the ears of the defiant confined man and he's heart skipped. He was once freely denying the woman before him the ability to keep him quiet however he caught his tongue. A frog in his throat, he found himself unable to even mutter a response for a moment. He couldn't find a word of resistance as his body froze. It was brief however and he found again that he could speak but instead of being defiant he found himself asking instead, just what had happened.

"What was that, what are you doing you bitch!" the man questioned of his captor, unsure of what had just happened. The men to Amarante's side were also inquisitive. "I'd also like to know what going on here. Where can we discuss our... Dealings?" Turning to speak to him, Amarante answered Lars' question but ignored the man in the cell. "Here is fine, this man won't be telling anyone about it. Actually, he'll be helping." Her eyes glanced over toward him and shot him a gaudy look. He seemed to be rather annoyed by the suggestion but found himself unable to say anything in return. "If you say so. At any rate, we're here to report ahead of our associates back at HQ the results of our operations." Amarante lent against the cell bars and urged Lars to continue. "Please do." Removing his hat, the officer began to detail the operations. "The enhancement project is going swimmingly. Our prototypes have all been completed, we're about ready to start our official experimentation. We're just waiting on your order ma'am." This was good to hear, finally things were beginning to get underway. It had been far too long since she began this operation but it was finally starting to take fruit. "Good. We'll use the lab in Tanzaku-gai to get things started but before that, have Frank report here. We have to prepare our newest recruit to the organisation."

Lars peered into the cell and viewed the large man strapped to the floor with Amarante's sealing jutsu. "You're bringing this things into the loop?" The man shot Lars a dirty look and snarled. "Bring him into the loop?" Amarante's face scrunched up in question before a smile hit her lips. "This guy is going to play a central role in our little operation. He's going to become veeeery useful." Whilst she didn't say it, Lars (and by extension Pete) got the jist of what she was saying but Larz still had some concerns. "Are you sure that's a good idea?" he asked but Amarante only smiled. "You'll see" she stated as she leered over to her captive. "He's going to be more than happy to help us out, right big guy?" He couldn't control himself again and the man smiled. "Of course" he answered Amarante through clenched teeth. He didn't want to say it, his body betrayed him. Just what was happening to him.

An Elite Officer... Really?

So the life of the Police Chief, Amarante, continued like any other. Asleep out the front of her hangout, the abandoned factory at the back of the Leaf Village training grounds, Amarante passed her time with a quick nap. She found herself getting rather sleepy a lot lately, perhaps because she wasn't doing much lately. Everything on autopilot at the station, only if things were getting rather drastic was she ever called in lately. Where was that Tarah? She promoted that girl to second in command for a reason. Maybe she was working? Amarante' hadn't been at the station to know but it felt like she was gone for a quite a while now. Must be her imagination. Stiffling a big yawn the girl closed her eyes for a split second or ten and she reclined, sitting down and leaning against the brick wall of her hangout (abandoned factory).

The kyuushi blade lay down beside her in its hilt. Currently her long hair was tied up behind her though to large bangs hung down to frame her face. She looked a lot younger than she actually was. In her early twenties, Amarante looked as though she was in her mid teens. A trait available to her due to the soulcaster techniques she had accumulated over the years. A long sleeve turtleneck sweater, black in colour, covered her body hiding her tattoos and scars on the upper body. She however was wearing short pants only a quarter down the thigh which revealed a few large cuts had taken their toll at some point in the past. An indication that she was no stranger to violence. Blue eyes hid behind the lids. She snoozed a little before she decided to deal with a few problems...

The smoke on the end of his cigarette was visible before he was, or so it always seemed. Adjusting his officer’s hat as he held his coat in a relaxed fashion, draped over his right arm as approached what to the average viewer might appear to be an abandoned factor. On the contrary, Tetsu was very aware of the KMP operation going on within the building and the Chief that housed her office here…as much to Tetsu’s dismay. “Does she always have to keep the shady venues?” Tetsu complained as he straightened his tie with his free left hand. He was dressed in an officer’s dress shirt, black tie, black khakis, and dress shoes. His hair was neatly trimmed and he had just a bit of stubble on his chin, as he was reaching a much older age than when he had originally joined the force. It was the standard issue appearance beside the tactical vests and capes that were kind of out of fashion that came with the job. He was in a much more casual attire today, matching what most of what the officers wore. On his left thigh was a leg harness that housed 1 scroll pouch with a small scroll in it, 2 knife holsters with 2 knives with sealing tags in them, and 1 quick loader pouch with 1 slot of bo shuriken, with the first three housing explosive tags. The rest of his gear was left at the station with his K-9 partner.

Or so he had thought, as his four legged partner, now a full grown German Shepard Ryosuke, came trotting after Tetsu with his assault pack on his back like some sort of dog grade schooler. It was cool, but still left more to be desired. “Aw come on I told you to sit, not follow me.” Tetsu grumbled as the pet carried his flak vest and assault gear if he needed it on the go. “Suke, stay…I’ll whistle for you if I need you.” Tetsu stated sternly as the dog whimpered but listened all the same. Tetsu, rolled up his sleeves, just enough to hide the burn marks on his left arm and the tattoo covering them just above the forearm. His Anti-flash and condition sensing lens glasses seemed to reflect the sun as he approached the strange building come to the front entrance to the main loading bay. The chief’s office was on the interior…so he would probably have to make his way inside…or so he thought, until he encountered a napping police chief there at the front of the abandoned factory.

Geez, sleeping on the job was normally his thing, Tetsu thought to himself as he nudged the police chief lightly with his foot. “Morning boss…” Tetsu said nonchalantly as he wondered why the police chief would be asleep outside of all places.

Even asleep Amarante wasn't defenseless, she was aware of the presence walking toward her even in a half asleep/asleep state. Judging by the laboured walking, the voice she kind of heard but not clear enough to quite make out, and the lack of discretion in their approach, she was able to comprehend that this was Tetsu approaching her. Long time no see, she confirmed his presence with her soulcasting techniqus and after doing so continued to remain napping. Feeling his kick at her side she begrudgingly opened her eyes and grumbled in protest of being disturbed. "Hmm...
Tetsu? What are you doing here?" Amarante groaned and climbed to her feet. Her body still demanding sleep she wobbled a bit as she stood, looking at his face. Particularly at his stubble. "Hn? When did you get old enough to grow beard? Little Tet Tet, growing up right before my eyes, as I get younger." She spoke a matter of factly with a slight inclination of teasing.

Over head a loud flapping of wings was heard as the sky grew dark. A large presence became known as the sound of heavy beats rained down on Tetsu, taking aim at his head as it drew closer and closer, and - missed by a factor of about 4 meters, crashing down heavily onto the earth. Dust flew up from the ground as a figure screeched in pain. When it cleared the form of Makoto the desert eagle was in a heap on the ground, writhing as if in pain but in the next instance, after realising people were looking at her, she steadied herself and squawked as she spread her wings at awkward angles, her tongue hanging out of her mouth. "Makoto say's hi." After seaking Amarante's attention turned back to Tetsu and, forgetting that she had asked previously, asked Tetsu once again what he was doing here. "So what are you doing here? Work related or you expecting a booty call? 'Cause if it's the booty call I have to tell you, I'm not exactly gentle. Or good. It's generally just me beating you up for a couple of hours. Some guys like it. Some don't. What were we talking about?" Makoto squawked again and the attention was back on Tetsu to get things back on subject.

Tetsu sighed at how the Chief seemed to look down on him…as usual, even though he was older than she was, regardless of being only slightly younger than she was. “Yeah, and it seems like you need to go back to preschool,” Tetsu chuckled as he watched the chief get up. “I came here…” Tetsu began to answer when suddenly a bird flew out of the sky, over his head, and into the ground. It was strange, but the bird had just come out of nowhere. “Um…hey bird,” Tetsu said as he dusted himself off from the dust that had kicked up from the bird’s crash.

“Well, I came here to look for you chief, but not for a booty call?” Tetsu commented in confusion as he shook his head at the attempted to shake off her ridiculous notion. “Your paperwork was piling up, and I was going to see if you wanted me to go ahead and file some of that for you was all, and you know you’re kind of the boss, so you know.” Tetsu commented as Amarante wasn’t really one for doing basic stuff like paperwork. “And honestly it’s good to get out of the office for a bit.” Tetsu commented as he was enjoying his time outside.

The kindergarten remark was painful but not uncalled for so Amarante let it slide. Tetsu was speaking a lot of sense however and Amarante couldn't help but agree with him wholeheartedly. "It is to get out of the office isn't it." She formed a series of hand signs, closed her eyes, and used the astral projection technique to relay a message to Gosei at his compound. This would take a few moments, during which time she would be rather unresponsive to Tetsu however Makoto in the meantime would walk up to Tetsu. Her wings folded to her sides she would look him in the eye and caw, as if talking.

Soon Amarante would open her eyes and get a move on. "Makoto, go get my tactical vest from the office!" Screeching in response Makoto took flight with a strong pounding of her wings and disappeared for a moment. Amarante then turned her attention to Tetsu. "Right, we're leaving the village for a while. Gonna go fuck up some drug dealers! You ready?" she spoke with a confident grin as if her statement was at the same level as going out for a round of drinks and not terrifying. Something heavy hit the ground in front of Amarante with a loud thud. Her tactical vest had arrived. Makoto flew in and landed on Amarante's shoulders, digging in her talons to get a good grip. Her tactical vest on the ground, it wasn't protecting Amarante's shoulders currently but her facial expression didn't change at all from the cocky one she displayed earlier. "This hurts a LOT more than I'm letting on." A smile still on her face it was easy to see in her eyes that she was screaming internally.

A moment passed without change until Makoto chuffed and took flight, Amarante still gripped in her talons. "Ah! I'll see you at the village gates Tetsu!"

Cutting Off The Supply – Repeatable Mission

Description of mission:
A criminal from the Land of Tea has set up shop in the Land of Fire and is supplying drugs and weapons to the local gangs and rebel groups wrecking havoc on the Leaf Village. To combat this the KMP has been working with the Police force within the Land of Tea however its becoming more and more clear that they are either useless at their jobs or they are being paid off by the man known as 'The Grocer' to lure the Konoha Forces away from the real drug operations. Luckily a recent interrogation has given Police Chief Amarante some insight as to the location of several facilities in the Land of Tea which are used as supply routes and storage areas for contraband.

Unluckily however the KMP has no authority in the Land of Tea so they are out of reach but people are dying, either by overdose or by weapons which has left the KMP no choice but to take action! Terrorist attacks against several locations have been authorised and Officers are being assembled to conduct covert operations as a part of a secret task force. Their mission: destroy these locations by any means necessary.
Mission objectives:

• Locate one of the facilities in the Land of Tea without being captured by the local Police
• Destroy the facility with either bombs or some kind of jutsu
• Ensure nothing can be recovered from the site and no evidence against the KMP can be recovered
• Return to the Land of Fire without further incident

Reward: 20,000 ryo + 2,250 ryo donated to the Team Blitz Fund
Prerequisite: 'Interrogate the Tough Guy' mission must first be completed before this mission can be unlocked

Everything seemed to be moving so quickly, Tetsu thought to himself as Amerante felt limp for a moment, probably doing some sort of astral projection technique…he had seen this done before. Regardless of that, her bird seemed to be chatty as he approached him and tried to do some sort of semblance of conversation. “Yeah sorry, I don’t speak bird,” Tetsu commented lazily as he looked back at the chief until she got up from her slouched posture. It was at this point that she seemed ready to roll with some sort of mission. Putting his two fingers in his mouth as Amerante asked for her own tactical vest, Tetsu’s dog Ryosuke would quickly trot up beside him with his pack on as he would open the pack up and pull out his dark green tactical vest out of the bag. Placing his coat and hat in place of the vest in the bag, Tetsu would zip it up and nod to the chief. “You know I’m ready to roll,” Tetsu commented casually as he fastened the snaps of his vest and the Chief’s vest fell from the sky. Tetsu’s vest was lined with Mithral chain links, a thin weave that was to act like a Kevlar of sorts while still being fire proof.

“I guess I’ll meet you at the gates then,” Tetsu commented as the chief, always in a hurry, took to flight with her bird…which Tetsu felt was a bit showy, but regardless it was time for a mission. Tetsu would equip the rest of his gear as he made his way towards the gates at a leisurely pace.

Description: Any Technique the user performs that has Plant capabilities, and has a Hardness and/or Armour Points become stronger. When learned the Hardness of their techniques increases by 2. Each time learned the Hardness of Wood increases by 2, and Armour Points increases by 10 (Maximum 20 Hardness, 100 Armour Points). For every 4 Hardness/ 20 Armour Points, the user's Wood Jutsus gain Resistance Acid 5 (Maximum 25).

The old factory had been overgrown. He could feel the light of the weening sun staring at him, as if the phantoms of his past loomed in the empty windows of Amerante's office. The building loomed over a huge stone ravine that had been a secret passage at one point. The while structure had collapsed after being left in disservice for so long. Tetsu's eyes glanced at the main entrance, the large metal doors to the factory like portion of the building. He was here with purpose, but his own guilt left him feeling like this disrepair was in part, his fault. Tetsu clapped his hands together and slapped them on the ground, channeling his chakra down into the very soil. The chakra, much like wooden roots, tunneled its way towards the small sink hole.

Wooden planks began to grow out of the ground, using the roots of the overgrowth to create the necessary wood to create such a covering. The wood was by no means a perfect solution, but to the very least he could walk over the structure. He could feel the very cells of the plant based structure hardening as he crafted the wood itself. The planks finished coming into being, and he sighed as he rose from the ground. The old factory seemed lopsided, as the roof had collapsed in some places. Broken glass and trinkets of metal littered the ground as he pulled his coat tightly around him.

Tetsu was wearing a white button up shirt with a pair of grey slacks and leather work shoes. His Navy KMP police jacket, with Detective labeled on the back made him look like a cop. He had a leg holster with 2 Kunai knives and 2 slots of Bo shuriken kept him armed. He brought very little with him other than what seemed like a small bouquet of flowers. He had grown them himself, and they were especially resilient, thanks to his wood nature.

He was here for a purpose, and began to make his way through the open factory doors that had long fallen off. He knew that he wouldn't have much time left to pay his respects, before he was off on another dangerous mission.

The bridge can be as long and wide as the user wishes so long as it is within the range of the technique, with the exception that it must have a roughly rectangular shape and it must be at least 1/4 as wide as it is long. The bridge can support up to a colossal creature.

The bridge seemed sturdy enough, Tetsu thought to himself as he stared down the ravenous tunnel, that could swallow him whole, below. His foot falls seemed to echo as he slowly traversed the bridge, moving into the huge building from the gaping breach in its side. Tetsu was now walking into the 1st floor of the facility. The floor smelled of rust and cool mud. It was clear that the elements had taken their toll on the building, and Tetsu felt a twinge of shame as he thought about how he was partially responsible for the disrepair.

“This place has seen better days…” Tetsu whispered under his breath. In its hay day, this building was equivalent to a fortress, but it now lay in ruin, a monument to the failure of Team Blitz and to his own personal failures. He could almost see the ghost of Kinzoku, cheerfully playing about the open space with his metal weapons. He remembered fixing Claire’s bike here while she lounged about, leaving his heart racing with unsavory thoughts. He could still hear Ame’s constant scolding and teasing echoing through the atrium, like a lament to their former glory. Tetsu felt the urge to cry, but suppressed it when he came upon the catwalk that lead to Amerante’s old office.

The cats walk’s stairwell had long collapsed, a small long strand of the catwalk still remained, hanging about 15 meters in the air. Tetsu, ever the dead eye, cleverly thought about how he would access the office. He was stumped for but a moment, but then remembered that there was elevator access down in the lower portion of the building that led directly to Amerante’s office…the Dungeon. Tetsu slowly made his way to the service elevator. The elevator itself resembled a giant metal cage that hung over some fraying metal cables. The whole system hadn’t seen any use since about 10 years ago. His youth had escaped him, to be sure. Tetsu approached the metal cage door and slowly attempted to open it. The metal creaked angrily, but would not budge.

“Damn,” Tetsu cursed under his breath as he weaved a few hand seals and grabbed a hanging vine that hung lazily over the elevator well. Tetsu used shape wood to change the vine into a hardened wooden crowbar. The strength of his wooden techniques had improved tremendously since he had first been instilled with the hidden art. It was a blessing to say the least. The vine’s hard plant cell structure wriggled in his hand as he infused his very life force, his chakra, into the plant. This wooden crowbar could be harder than steel in some cases, Tetsu thought to himself as his tool took shape.

Now armed with a crowbar, Tetsu aggressively wedged it into the door jam, slowly wiggling and prying the elevator door open. After a good 10 minutes of struggling with the endeavor, Tetsu eventually opened the door. He looked at this now spent tool and saw the many divots and chips he had created attempting to open the door. The hardness of his wood techniques was not as great as he would have hoped for. The tool had been spent, but he held onto it, for the time being. He might have a use for it after all. Tetsu squirmed his way past the metal doors and into the cage like elevator, his flowers securely in his bag.

He cautiously hit the buttons to begin his descent. The cage rattled as it lurched downward awkwardly at first but then began to make it’s descent. Tetsu sighed with relief as the elevator began coasting down the well with a sickening screeching sound. Tetsu weaved a few handseals and case heal minor wound, plant on hair crowbar, causing the tool to slowly reconstruct itself into a hardened, sharpened, tool. His skills with the wood release were increasing by the day and the tool seemed a bit harder than it had been before. He felt a moment of relaxation as the elevator kept a steady pace. His relief was premature.

The cabling for the elevator made a loud twang sound as something jammed the towing cable. The elevator stopped dead, the jammed open door revealing just a small peek into the bottom floor’s wide abyss of darkness. The space was just small enough to fit through. “Aw come on…” he complained as the elevator began to lurch awkwardly…as if it was going to fall right off the cable reel.
