As we worked tirelessly, the damage to the woman’s back and backside was gradually healed. Her left buttock cheek was patched up while her right cheek and lower back was still torn. Amanda moved onto her cheek while I worked on the woman’s back. “Vitals?” Amanda asked. “Stable, for now. Patient is breathing with my help but if I stop the Oxygen, she will die.” Sasha explained. I moved my hand up her back and sent my chakra deep into the skin to search for damage.
Stem cells rushed along the woman’s spine, creating more muscles that were sent straight to the areas where there were lacking. Platelets were running out for the woman as she needed a blood transfusion. Fortunately, the blood type was the same as mine, so opening a vein in my left arm, I began pumping blood into her while my right hand continued to create more cells to repair the damage. Come on.. My voice chanted in my mind as I fought furiously to save the woman’s life.
Amanda had completed the healing session on the patient’s bottom and was moving up to replace me while I fed the patient my blood. My chakra surged through her vein while the machine attached to the woman began to stabilize. Blood was smeared everywhere while chunks of muscle tissue had been repaired. Just when things seemed pointless, the woman suddenly showed signs of coming through. While I concentrated on pumping enough blood into her system, I shifted my gaze to Amanda. She nodded. “She has enough blood now. Close the vein.” She said softly. I did so.
My chakra flowed through the woman’s body swiftly, checking for any signs of tears or damage. A few smaller wounds littered her upper back, but those were not life threatening. No organs were damaged. Judging from the amount of damage made to her lower section, it seemed as if the lion had attacked the woman from above and had attempted to drag her away while eating away at her flesh. Amanda and Sasha gently rolled the woman over while I used my strength to lift her. The other side of her body was covered in scratches.
After placing the woman down, I checked her vitals and noticed that she was asleep. Sasha had put her to sleep during the procedure. Good. While Amanda and Sasha worked on the other side of her body, I sent my chakra into the woman’s lungs to keep her breathing regulated. “How is the baby?” I ask, my gaze never moving from the woman’s chest. “Poor thing didn’t make it..” The other medic replied, her voice incredibly sad. Sigh. But at least the mother will make it…
