I chuckled at her comment but when she spoke of bonding I became confused, the sadistic grin that accompanied it was not comforting either. "Bond? What do yo-" I was cut off before I could complete my thought by the woman, "Don't you worry about it, just lay down on the table and bite onto this." I did not have time to wonder what she was talking about when I was handed a leather strap and pushed backwards onto a newly appearing table. The woman was really quite proficient with genjutsu, I had to admit that, but it was really quite annoying. I decided to do as she requested of me and put the leather strap into my mouth, biting down on it in wait.
It was best not to fight, especially when the one I was up against did not seem to mean to kill me and could probably toss me around with ease. She produced a scalpel from somewhere within her clothing, I was was not exactly paying attention to where, and began her work. A series of evenly spaced incisions were made upon each of my arms, they hurt a little bit but it was not too bad. I honestly did not see why the leather strap was needed if this was it, but then I started to get a little more nervous as she produced some seeds from her kimono. I had no notion of what she was going to do with those seeds and did not much like to imagine it.
As I was wondering such a thing the woman with aqua colored hair took one of the seeds and pressed it into the incision closest to my left hand. A groan of pain left my lips as she did so and then continued up the arm, eight seeds planted into eight incisions in my arm. Each time it happened pain would shoot through my body, yet I become a bit more accustomed to the feeling and managed to keep myself from groaning each time. There was really not all that much for me to do right now and I simply lay there as she planted seeds in my arms. My right arm got it's own eight seeds and I was not exactly eagerly awaiting the moment the sprouted.
When the woman had completed sowing the seeds into my flesh I looked up at her, wondering what was going to happen next when I saw her cast a technique. I was not entirely certain what this ability might be, then I saw a great deal of butterflies fly through the open window. I tried to listen in as the woman whispered to them, yet I could not make out her words and simply watched as the creatures flew down to cover my arms. It was an interesting sensation as they did whatever it was they were doing before they flew from my limbs. Looking down to see the result of their presence I barely had time to notice the silk covering my wounds before it started.
Searing pain filled my body completely as the seeds opened and roots shot from them into my muscle. The pain from this was unlike that of being cut or having the seeds forced into my body, this was on a whole new level. I could feel all of it taking place inside my body as the flowers began to sprout up from those tiny seeds that had been within. Yet the overwhelming sensation of it was pain, even as my life's blood was being sucked up by the roots I could barely feel it. After roughly ten minutes I could feel the growth cease, the draining of my blood end, yet that pain persisted for far longer.
