As the made spoke she began taking down notes, writing in shorthand to make it all but impossible for most to understand what was written. "I see." She took one last look around the dining room before the maid took her to the next location, a large, well kept kitchen. "Hmm," she hummed while contemplating speaking with the cooks, "They seem busy right now, I wouldn't want to disturb them while they're working like this."

"I see," she mutter while taking down a few notes in shorthand, "This place is beautiful, does the lady come out here often or was it the daughter who came here more?" As each maid was pointed out, Lydia would take down her name and general information, giggling as the cross dresser was pointed out in a hushed tone. She was also one who had a romantic interest in the same gender, though wooing women as a woman was always more fun. "Which of the maids has been working here longest? I would like to ask them a few questions later if possible."

She followed the maid from the garden and into a living area, looking around in wonder. Her entire apartment would have been able to fit in the room twice over, without losing the inviting warmth of a living area. This seemed like a perfect place to pause the tour and ask some questions of the maid. "Really?" she said in surprise, "She really doesn't seem the type to enjoy duh things." Lydia looked around before leaning in AMD whispering to the maid, "Actually, Miss Madoka scared me when I first saw her in the doorway."

When she spoke of the employment status of all the maids there was a genuine look of shock on her face, "Wow, I always thought keeping a maid's job would be incredibly difficult. When was Momo hired? Was she hired for a special skill set?" She would have to talk to Momo later, but once those questions had been asked she would bring up the main topic. "Can we stop here for a moment? I'd like to ask a few questions about the family itself."

Lydia sat in a chair opposite the maid while she jotted down notes as the other woman spoke. The step-mother was seeming much kinder than the photographer had made her out to be, could he have been lying to make her look more guilty? "She sounds like an incredibly kind woman, much more so than I thought she would be from what I heard." She said before continuing to explain, "You see, I spoke with Uchideki Arashi before because he claimed to know the family and he made her seem like she would be much crueler." With a moment's pause she tapped the pen on her chin, "Did those two not get along well, or did perhaps Nayeli not get along well with Madoka or something of the sort?"

"I see," she said while taking down her notes, grateful she knew how to write in shorthand. This really was becoming more and more convoluted the more she learned about the whole family situation. Things would be sorted out when the came and she said, "Yes, thank you." When the maid jumped up to go fetch some tea, it was a bit of an odd outburst, but she would not pass up tea if it was not tampered with. For now, Lydia was trying to puzzle things out in her head.

So, it seemed that not everyone believed the lie that she was here to write an article on the life of maids. "It's quite alright, everyone must cope with things in their own way." For a moment she put down her pen and notepad, she could try and continue the rouse with this maid but that seemed like it would only make things worse and this one seemed willing to give her the information she wanted. "The best way to disguise a lie is to tell a truth to hide it. I had every intention of writing an article and submitting it to the Shikon Times as an amateur freelance reporter."

Lydia picked up her own tea cup and inhaled the aroma, trying to detect any abnormalities from the tea itself. "However, if you wish to freely help me try and find Nayeli and allow her to return to the place she most wishes then I will not turn you down. What might that bit of information have been?"

"I wouldn't bet against that myself." She spoke while musing over what the maid had said, the fragmented message having several possible meanings. Though, it all did seem to point to Madoka as being the one who had the girl captured and taken somewhere. Judging from the word Onsen it could have been anywhere from the land of hot springs to a random spa with onsen on the island itself. However, the comment about the sunburn made it seem like this would be a place that had fairly high temperatures most of the time. Well, she would check the docks to be sure of some things before departing.

Scribbling her notes down in shorthand the secretary pondered everything before speaking up once again, "Is there anything else you can remember that could be of help? A word? A phrase? Perhaps someone who has been coming by in secret ever since then?"

"I know, and thank you for the information that you have given to me." She spoke before standing from her seat and straightening her pencil skirt. Picking up her teacup the woman would take another sip, "Thank you for everything, and I don't think I should stay here any longer. That girl has been gone for too long already, please have someone tell Miss Madoka that I received an urgent message from my boss and that I will be back another time to finish the interview." Bowing slightly to the cook she set down her unfinished tea and made her way back to the door to leave this building with Pebble for the time being and make her way back to port.

Upon reaching the port the woman went up to man selling tickets for passage overseas. She did not believe that the land of hot springs was too far, but she wanted to make sure about the climate before departing. The mention of 'sunburn' made her think that it would not be a place that was quite cold, it needed to have good weather in at least one area. "Excuse me," Lydia said to the one working the booth, "Can you tell me a bit more about the Land of Hot Springs? I have been wanting to go there for some time, but I was curious about the weather there before I went." She smiled at the worker, hoping they would have an answer, she could ask a sailor who'd been there if not.

"Perfect," the woman said, pulling out the Ryo she had for travel expenses, "I'd like one ticket to the Land of Hot Springs then." Lydia would pay whatever price had been named by the woman selling the tickets and head for the boat with Pebble. She had a decent idea about the location, but the problem was that the woman had no leads to go on from there aside from the picture that she had been given. At least it was a start.
