Hira-Shuriken (Overview) 4 slots (60)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 15 per Slot, Piercing, Shuriken
Effect: Is a concealed weapon that is generally for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Hira-shuriken is constructed from thin, flat plates of metal derived from a variety of sources including hishi-gane (coins), and kugi-nuki (carpentry tools), and generally resemble popular conceptions of shuriken. In modern popular culture, these are called "throwing stars" or "ninja stars". They often have a hole in the center and possess a fairly thin blade sharpened only at the tip. The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each

Kunai (Overview) 7 slots (14)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 2 per Slot, Piercing/Slashing, Knife
Effect: A digging tool, a bit like a trowel. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Also used as a knife.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The kunai is conventionally wrought in ranges from 6 to 8 inches, with the average at 7 inches. The kunai was used by common folk as multi-purpose gardening tools and by workers of stone and masonry. The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. There could be multiple kinds of kunais such as handless ones, or even double sided kunais as long as they are within the same length.

Character Depth
Personality:
- Takeshi is overall a kind, caring person. He enjoys moments when he can help people who need it, whether they want it or not. It is his job as a ninja of Yukigakure to do everything he can for the village, even if some rules might be broken along the way. He has also not formed that many close bonds over the years so the village is the only real thing he has that he can protect besides himself. Leaving his main family when he was young was a hard thing for him and left a permanent mental scare as he was old enough to realize what was happening. Deep down there are fears that lay within him that anyway he will get too close to will end up leaving or hurting him, but this does not mean that he doesn't try to form bonds. Like most other humans he does have a desire to be around others and have others that he can laugh and joke around with as well as having serious moments in which their friendship will be tested.
- When interacting with others, Takeshi might seem a little quiet at first. He is not good when it comes to meeting new people and usually has a hard time finding the correct words to say. He always finds it fun though to meet new and interesting people and then getting to really know them just to see how much his perception of them has changed since a first encounter. He also finds it pretty hard to dislike someone. He has a pretty low temper and does not get upset very easily, but in the off change that he does he will probably either glare at them coldly or look away quiet and try not to make eye contact and he would have trouble trying to express it. If someone truly angers him to the point of marking themselves as an enemy such as trying to harm someone close to him, Takeshi will get enough and lash back, either through words or physical contact.
- One major thing that Takeshi has trouble with is adult authority. Since he never quite got over the loss of his parents when he was younger he has trouble trusting people that are older. He feels as if they could end up doing just what his parents did and try to throw him away. This is not very outwardly expressed in real situation he will usually follow orders that he is told though sometimes he will show rebellion if he feels that the authority that has given him orders were wrong. Takeshi is a believer that sometimes you have to defy the higher ups in order to do what needs to be done. As long as he is taking orders from someone he believes is currently doing the right thing you will usually see Takeshi quietly nodding and mainly responding verbally when spoken to or just giving small comments on the situation at hand.
- Takeshi is also someone who is not a big fan of death. Usually he will try to do what he can to make sure someone comes to less harm, even if it means that he has to hurt them a little more as it would still be better than what would happen in the long run such as breaking their arms to stop someone from killing themselves in order to stop them from spilling out information later that could be vital for the village. There are exceptions to this however. If someone truly evil is encountered by Takeshi and it seems that they will never show redemption or any remorse for their actions, Takeshi will try to silence them forever. He is not a man that enjoys it when he is forced to kill someone but sometimes it is just a necessary thing to do.
- Takeshi is a pretty serious person when it comes to a battle. He is not the best strategist out there but he will try to formulate a plan the best that he can. He is also a pretty good team player and will come to the aid of anyone that he might be working with. He doesn't mind being a follower, though if the need arises for him to take lead he will not hesitate if he sees that it is needed. As long as he has a choice he prefers to fight with either his bloodlimit techniques or other lightning techniques as they are where his heritage comes from and he feels more complete when he can use them proudly. When he is at long range he will be a more offensive fighter, using any long range attacks he can perform such as his jutsus or his prowess with ranged weapons. Of course if he gets in close he will mostly rely on his trusty wakizashi, possibly with some special tactics thanks to his heritage.
Appearance:
- Once a first glance is taken upon Takeshi you will probably think of him as a pretty boy. He's not really the tallest guy around but he still has room to grow. He also posseses a pretty thin body structure, though this does not mean he is weak as he does have more lean muscles since he does stay in shape. One noticeable thing about him is that he also has very pale, luminescent skin which is a signature trait of the Kyoudo clan.
- Takeshi also has noticeably soft facial features which can give off a slight effeminate look.. His emerald green eyes may not seem very menacing or strong but they there is a feel of loneliness and abandonment when you stare into them, a reflection of his past. His eyelashes are also quite long which adds more to his slightly feminine appearance. Of course there is also the birthmark upon his face that all members of the Kyoudo clan are born with. There is a solid red line running down from the center of both of his eyes that curve inward further down his face and then connect at his chin.
- Some might notice that Takeshi has naturally well kept hair, which of course is pure white as all members of the clan have that represents their natural element, lightning. He doesn't really do too much to manage it and it tends to never stick up very much except for the tips which stick slightly outward.. It is usually kept at the desired length which slightly past his eyes but it doesn't get in the way of his vision too much. His hair is longer in the back and sides than it is in the front, reaching down to near his shoulder. The hair is also fairly thin, soft, and tends to just fall back in place if messed with unless hair products would be used.
- As for attire, Takeshi likes to not look completely bland while still feeling comfortable in what he is wearing. On his head of course you will see his ninja headband, which is mostly covered by hair but sticks out at certain spots. On his torso he wears a long sleeved black shirt which has a fairly open neck hole that he has the option of tightening by pulling on the strings and is also padded on the inside to keep him warm in the cold environments. Under his long sleeved shirt is another long sleeved blue shirt which is tighter and hugs his body more. It usually isn't visible. For his lower body he wears slightly tight black pants with similar padding to his shirt which have white laces that run down the sides for simply aesthetic purposes. Over top of his outfit you can usually find him wearing a white cloak with a hood that is meant to keep him warm when he is traveling around. Finally, his footwear are closed, black shoes that reach up to his shins and have the end of his pants tucked into them.
- Takeshi likes to make sure that all of his equipment is easy to get a hold of when they are needed. He tends to keep his butt bag on his right-rear side for general secondary weapon attacks. Directly to the right of the butt bag on his side he likes to keep his low ranked weapon scrolls tied up. If he has higher ranked weapon scrolls on his they will usually be tied to his back, either vertically or horizontally. Of course what is a ninja without their primary weapon? On his left side is his sheathed wakizashi, ready to be drawn for battle when needed.
Background:
- Takeshi was originially born in the city capital of Yuki no Kuni. Both of his parents were of Kyoudo heritage and were very happy to bring a new member of the clan into the world. They both happened to be single children so neither of them were ninja and had lived normal and easy lives. Members of their clan were also very rare in that country and it was pretty amazing that they managed to find each other. Once Takeshi was born he lived a pretty good life. He was spoiled by his parents and was still yet untold of the clans tradition that tears so man of their family's apart.
- Takeshi was a very happy child until he was around the age of nine. He was sneaking around his home, trying to get some candy when it was past his bed time and knew that if he was caught he would be scolded. When he was walking past his parents' room he happened to overhear them talking about something. He peeked in through the door which was cracked open and noticed that his mother was crying. He was a second away to running in and asking what was wrong he heard what they were actually talking about. His mother was pregnant with a second child and they knew that they would have to abandon Takeshi, mostly likely in Yukigakure.
- This was a complete shock to Takeshi. He still did not hear of their clan's tradition as his parents never thought they were going to have another child and were going to wait till he was a little older to tell him. It was so hard to believe what he was hearing. His parents talking about leaving him somewhere and never coming back without any other possible solution. Not being handle to handle this news well, Takeshi ran to his room and cried for hours before finally falling asleep. It was not a week later before his parents confronted him openly about the situation. They explained how it was a tradition that they had to follow and that they would leave him in the hands of Yukigakure, hopefully to become a strong and noble ninja.
- After that it was only a month later before Takeshi was staring at the Yukigakure village gates for the first time. At first, he only saw it as a prison that would be keeping him away from his happiness. The village made sure that he was put with a good family in which both parents were ninja. Takeshi didn't hate them or anything, but they would never fill the void of the parents that had abandoned him. Immediately after he joined his new family he had begun his ninja training. He was a little old to just start learning about chakra control and jutsu as his kekkei genkai had yet to awaken so his original family had never trained him to control. He had come along pretty quickly as a ninja. He was a quick enough learner to graduate from the academy within a few years of his training.
- Takeshi was now eleven and official a genin of the village. He had all of the basic jutsu that ninja learned but there was still something he was not satisfied yet. He was aware that his clan had their own set of special jutsu but he did not know how to perform or even learn any of it. It was not too long though before an elderly man with strikingly white hair similar to Takeshi's was taking a stroll through the village. This man known as Hiroshi was also a member of the Kyoudo clan. He was not a ninja but he had plenty of experience with his clan's techniques. During one of his daily walks through the village he noticed something that was not seen very often. There was a boy with the exact same distinguishing features of the Kyoudo.
- Judging from how sad and lonely this boy looked Hiroshi knew that the honorable thing to do would be to approach this boy and offer to be his teacher in the ways of the clan's techniques. Takeshi was sitting around watching the snow in the village after a hard morning of training when something caught him completely off guard. An elderly man walking up to him and introducing himself as Hiroshi and a fellow member of their clan. Takeshi couldn't help but tear up a little bit as he met this man and was left speechless for a moment. Hiroshi then questioned him about his knowledge of the clan's abilities and Takeshi explained how he practically knew nothing. Thus, a partnership was formed between student and master from that day on.
- The first thing Hiroshi made sure of was to let Takeshi know that he shouldn't blame his parents for what they did. After all, it was a sacred clan tradition that all of the Kyoudo followed and he let him know that he should also follow this tradition if the time ever comes. This had made Takeshi a stronger person both in spirit and body. His mental block was lessened and he was now able to draw out his potential a little more. It was soon that he even had learned the clan's signature move from Hiroshi, the Sutatikku Nagare. Training was not easy of course. Hiroshi knew that just because Takeshi's life was made a little easier by finding a master that he still had figure out most of the clan's potential on his own in order to become stronger. Now a few more years have passed and Takeshi, now having much more experience and wisdom while still training with Hiroshi in the ways of the Kyoudo, is on his way to becoming a splendid ninja. He had also begun learning the Wakizashi Kagame style from the local village dojo during this time.
