The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. Matarashi was blessed with an extremely calm childhood. His father was a man who was average at everything he did, whether it is walking, talking, or even the way he stood, but he was a virtuoso in two areas: his cunning, and his sadistic streak. He was the top mind in his age group, possibly in all of the mist, and he used this advantage, along with his ability to blend into a crowd, to claw and connive his way to the top of the hunter-nin ranks. He was the best in the business, using small pipes, disguised as drinking straws, and loading them with a toxic dart, then stealthily shoot them into a passerby, or as a target walked along a path, he would be hiding in a tree, ready to pounce. This inept skill led him to become moderately wealthy from his high mission success rates, and, eventually, he fell in love with, and had child with, one of the archiver’s working for the Mist historical society. Matarashi’s mother saw the baby as a gift from the gods, but his father saw him as the perfect chance to strike the Mist elders, who had ended up becoming his targets.
When Matarashi reached the age of seven, his father trained him in the art of silent Intel gathering: using shadows and nature to see without being seen. He learnt how to get to places that other people couldn’t reach. He blended seamlessly with crowds, but this came at a price. He was told to walk on his toes across a hardwood panel floor, and every time he made them squeak, the back of his foot was lashed with a black leather whip his father carried. He was a hard, driving, uncaring man, and his wife hated him for it. Once, when Matarashi dropped from his pull up bar because his hands were slippery, his father told him to strip down to nothing but his shorts, which he did, unquestioningly. His father then placed him outside in the snow with nothing to eat for the night. He would have frozen to death if he had given up his will to live, but he had fire in his system. His fire chakra (unbeknownst to him) and undying loyalty to his father’s commands kept him alive for a significant chunk of the night. When his mother discovered this practice, and, in a fit of rage slapped his father, he went wild with rage. He used the body flicker technique and well placed senbon to immobilise her completely in a minute span of time. He then dragged her outside by the hair and told Matarashi that “this is what happens to traitors” and slit her throat with a kunai. Matarashi looked on blankly as his mother was killed. His mentality assured him that his father knew best, and he returned to his punishment in the snow.
a few weeks later however, Matarashi’s father was ordered to make an appearance before the leaf elders, to which he brought along his son, his most trusted associate, as backup. He stood before the ancient elders, and, for a few moments, all was calm; until Matarashi’s father hurled a hidden shuriken towards an elder, cutting his jugular, and splattering his ten year old son with the blood of the innocent for the second time in less than a month. Hunter-nin immediately encroached on the position, and Matarashi’s father turned to his son, begging for help, stating that this was Matarashi’s purpose in life, to which Matarashi answered “why help he who cannot help himself out of the hole he has dug?” sealing his father’s fate, and gaining him the approval of the elders.
After his father’s execution, Matarashi changed in his ideals, like a machine, he was now loyal to those who had extinguished his old master: the elders, and, under their orders, he entered the academy, graduating with flying colours at the age of 12. He was assigned to a genin team with several other passing students, where he now learns to master taijutsu with cold efficiency and disturbing peace of mind, with indifference towards anyone or anything that does not further his or the elders goals of eliminating the enemies of the village.
he was later sent on a journey by the elders to find a master who could aid him in training. he searhced high and low, traveling through three countries, until he came to the land of fire, where, after traveling for almost 3 months with little rest, he finally collapsed. he later awoke in a small wooden hut, where a man dressed in simple hermit garb, was feeding him soup to help regain his strength. he was thankful to the hermit for saving his life, but told him "without assurance of my future as a shinobi, how can i relax?" referring to his search for a master of taijutsu. the hermit then asked why he wished to become strong, to which he answered "to protect myself. how can i survive the ninja lifestyle if i am not strong?" this statement reminded the hermit of his own struggle for power, and he agreed to tutor Matarashi in the ways of Strong Iron style, a fighting style with the intent to cause severe damage to an oppressor.
within the next four months, Matarashi would begin to master the basic techniques for Strong Iron, eventually learning to master Silence form and a range of techniques and stances from it, reaching his pinnacle when he used front lotus for the first time and opening the first celestial gate at the age of 12, after which he was bedridden for 3 days, due to the stress on his body

Description: The user stands tall without slouching. They take their arms raising up their hands up to their face. Their elbows are bent touching each other as the user slouches slightly. The user brings their arms inwards towards their body to protect their body. Their face is protected with their fists. Their legs are shoulder width apart as they bend their knees slightly. Knees are never straightened because that can be deadly to the knee. As knees are bent the upper thighs touch each other down to the knee. This protects the private areas from low attacks. To avoid private area attacks user moves slightly to the left or to the right rotating their hips. When an opponent attacks the user concentrates on their muscles and joints as they quickly squeeze to tense these areas. This technique nulls or dims down the effects of techniques. Depending on the TaiJutsu technique and the capability of this technique the user is capable of dimming down strong techniques. Each rank the user learns they are capable of dimming techniques one rank lower.

When the opponent is slammed the opponent creates a crater against the ground. The technique sends the opponent into a 10 meter radius crater, plus 3 meters for every class the user is higher than "D".

Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.

Matarashi has a pale, oval face, with very chiseled features, a strong jaw, high cheekbones, and a well shaped brow. all this would make for a perfect teenger, if it weren't for his eyes. he had the eyes of someone who had been scarred by death. they were the kind of grey that made you think of utter contempt. they were sunken and piercing, as if when he looked at you, he looked into your very soul.
he had thin, colourless lips that were always formed into the slash of neutrality, even when he spoke to people who held authority over him, his facial expression never changed. he had thick black hair that was always falling to the right side of his face, and sticking out either side at the back in spikes. physically, he matured at a rather young age, already growing a faint silver fuzz on his chin, and black sideburns along his cheeks.
his muscular areas (torso, arms, legs) were well developed and defined, but not overly large. he had a slim, athletic build, with fair skin and faint scars on a large amount of his body from his fathers mistreatment. he wore baggy navy coloured pants, tied off at the calf, with knee high white boots, with a blue trim. covering his torso was a navy vest with white trim on the sides and along the zipper. he wore his ninja headband as a white belt, with the kirigakure symbol in the middle. he also wore white gauntlets with blue detailing.
Personality:
Matarashi Matsuri, born to Mai Matsuri and Menboku Matsuri in the village of Kirigakure, was raised to be a singularly minded weapon to his father, and later, the mist elders. his only fear is losing; be it a competition, a mission, or even working for the losing side in a war. after he realised that his father was going to lose, he immediately side himself with the victorious party: the mist elders, showing how little he cares about what is the morally right thing to do, as long as he comes out on top. he is also willing to kill whoever he is ordered to, and anyone who gets in his way, showing a blatant disregard for human life. but if he were given an order that put him in an untenable position, he would be likely to decline, or even defect to the side that would be victorious in that situation.
he treats his teammates, and other people with contempt, as shown by his tendancy to only speak when absolutely vital. this trait has isolated him from other children his age, but he doesn't mind. he views attachments as fickle and as weapons that can be used against him. having lost his mother and father at a relatively young age, then having to fend for himself has made him rather callous and aloof, but he is also philosophical about their deaths, as he would not be the ninja he is today without them meeting their demise. he believes they made him strong through emotion. deep down though, his wish to become powerful is driven by his memory of them, showing he did care significantly about them.
his number one hobby is training and exercising, which comes from his drive to become a powerful ninja, and rather groundless hatred of lazy people. his most treasured possession was the first weapon he was ever given by his father: a short sword that he still wields to this day. he enjoys making up strategies to get the best of people, both in ninjutsu, and in day to day life, in the form of manipulating their emotions and desires to get them into a rage, so they won't think things through and, subsequently, making it easier for him to best them.

After that, follow up with your left foot, circle behind your opponent's left side and you appear behind the opponent. This can be followed by a throw; when behind the opponent's rear, hit their neck with your right arm, and put your right leg behind their legs. You should not necessarily hit the opponent's neck too severely, as the opponent will have lost their balance already depending on the speed of the attack, not the strength of it.

Description: Picture Front Lotus requires the opening of the first of the Eight Chakra Gates, giving the user the necessary strength and speed to perform. The user launches the opponent into the air and then uses Kage Buyō (Shadow of the Dancing Leaf). Once behind the opponent, the user restrains them and pile drives the user into the ground headfirst while rotating at a ferocious speed. When the opponent is slammed the opponent creates a crater against the ground. The technique sends the opponent into a 10 meter radius crater, plus 3 meters for every class the user is higher than "D".

Drawback: May use 3 times a day. May perform 1 more each time learned. Passing amount renders the user's legs immobile due to severe pain. Unable to perform again unless gained medical treatment. Must move through an opening. Unable to maneuver around obstructing objects. Can't attack while performing any Shunshin or Variation.
Description: User is able to move forward in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu.

Effect: This attack uses the entire body as a spring by amassing power in the legs before kicking upwards. Because the power of the kick comes from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.

Description: Picture The user must find a way to get beneath the opponent. The user then ducks down and quickly launches upwards with enough full force with his body slamming the kick against the opponent's face. The opponent is then launched high into the air as the user is able to use stronger techniques found in the Goutetsu 轟鉄 (Strong Iron) style. The technique sends an opponent up 15 meters, plus 3 meters for every class the user is higher than "D".

Appearance:
Matarashi has a pale, oval face, with very chiseled features, a strong jaw, high cheekbones, and a well shaped brow. all this would make for a perfect teenger, if it weren't for his eyes. he had the eyes of someone who had been scarred by death. they were the kind of grey that made you think of utter contempt. they were sunken and piercing, as if when he looked at you, he looked into your very soul.
he had thin, colourless lips that were always formed into the slash of neutrality, even when he spoke to people who held authority over him, his facial expression never changed. he had thick black hair that was always falling to the right side of his face, and sticking out either side at the back in spikes. physically, he matured at a rather young age, already growing a faint silver fuzz on his chin, and black sideburns along his cheeks.
his muscular areas (torso, arms, legs) were well developed and defined, but not overly large. he had a slim, athletic build, with fair skin and faint scars on a large amount of his body from his fathers mistreatment. he wore baggy navy coloured pants, tied off at the calf, with knee high white boots, with a blue trim. covering his torso was a navy vest with white trim on the sides and along the zipper. he wore his ninja headband as a white belt, with the kirigakure symbol in the middle. he also wore white gauntlets with blue detailing.
Personality:
Matarashi Matsuri, born to Mai Matsuri and Menboku Matsuri in the village of Kirigakure, was raised to be a singularly minded weapon to his father, and later, the mist elders. his only fear is losing; be it a competition, a mission, or even working for the losing side in a war. after he realised that his father was going to lose, he immediately side himself with the victorious party: the mist elders, showing how little he cares about what is the morally right thing to do, as long as he comes out on top. he is also willing to kill whoever he is ordered to, and anyone who gets in his way, showing a blatant disregard for human life. but if he were given an order that put him in an untenable position, he would be likely to decline, or even defect to the side that would be victorious in that situation.
he treats his teammates, and other people with contempt, as shown by his tendancy to only speak when absolutely vital. this trait has isolated him from other children his age, but he doesn't mind. he views attachments as fickle and as weapons that can be used against him. having lost his mother and father at a relatively young age, then having to fend for himself has made him rather callous and aloof, but he is also philosophical about their deaths, as he would not be the ninja he is today without them meeting their demise. he believes they made him strong through emotion. deep down though, his wish to become powerful is driven by his memory of them, showing he did care significantly about them.
his number one hobby is training and exercising, which comes from his drive to become a powerful ninja, and rather groundless hatred of lazy people. his most treasured possession was the first weapon he was ever given by his father: a short sword that he still wields to this day. he enjoys making up strategies to get the best of people, both in ninjutsu, and in day to day life, in the form of manipulating their emotions and desires to get them into a rage, so they won't think things through and, subsequently, making it easier for him to best them.
