[The God Damn Otokage]

When Mayu appeared she was carrying a strange new blade. Next to her Tessaiage was the famed Sasoriken. "Guess you guys are in a hurry." She said as she lit a cigarette. "Let's go home." She said with a smile, thinking longingly of her village.

[Draven]

Draven would button up his trench boat. It was a little chilly out. The season had changed since this adventure had been started. "Six months is a long time to be away from the village. I hope all is well..." he would say. It sounded ominous but he did not intend for it to be.

With compass and map in hand Draven would choose a direction. He would let the Otokage and Rahael know what route might be best. And with the a charted route, he would take lead. His minds eye would be open out to 200 meters. Just in case there was any funny business going on.

As Draven had his wits about him he noticed the new blade. "Found something shiny did ya." he would say as he caught the glint of Sasoriken. It was a wonder the Otokage could stand, being all armed to the teeth with those things.

[Hoarfrost Imp]

"Oh, lady Kage!" She gasped, wheeling around to greet her. The sudden motion made her head spin suddenly, rocking her in place, the headache was still apparent. It was...dreadful, nearly crippling but she continued. When Draven suggested a route she nodded and fell into formation, taking the back rank. The walking helped but she noticed something that sent a spark of dread through her.

"L-lady Kage..." She mumbled, the ninja demeanor slipped away, the little girl was coming out, the scared feeble child she masked with the duty she had sworn to her village. "I cant activate my Byakugan.. I-I cant see!" The world blinked in and out of vision, her steps grew awkward and uneven as they trudged along. Even though she tried to keep walking the fear had set in, she was shaking, scared of the darkness setting in.

A man in plate armor would appear and find the young girl. He passed her a letter silently before turning and walking away. Seemingly he knew who the girl was on sight and needed no further confirmation. The letter was written in Common.

Footsteps! Someone was approaching and at a steady pace. Who was so bold to travel towards the kage and her escorts in the middle of Rain? Blinking several times, she caught sight of a man in armor. "Halt!" She didnt even notice he was approaching her and not Mayu, settling immediately into her wide legged stance, the divination circle blurring in and out.

It was then he extended his arm, handed her a message and left. The surprise was evident on her face, and she was still fighting to see, her head swimming as she attempted to read the message. "I-I cant.." She mumbled, catching no traces of the armored individual as she turned to Mayu to hand her the letter. What in the heavens was going on? She was being called away to...aide a country she had never heard of? Maybe Mayu could make heads or tails of this.

Mayu read it over carefully before handing it back. "Well you'd best go. Draven and I can make it back easily enough. Stay safe and do us proud." Mayu said with a nod before looking back to Draven. "Don't be so negative. Let's get going."

[Hoarfrost Imp]

"Off I am then." She murmured, squinting hard, trying to fous her sight as she split off from the group, leaving Mayu in the hands of Draven for the time being.

As they walked, a man and a message. It was for Rahael. Draven would observe and watch and smile at the perspective of such an adventure that the Hyuuga was given. "Good luck." He would say before Rahael would leave. Then it was time to go. A smile sprouted on his lips as he was called negative. It wasn't because that comment he made wasn't a serious one, but it was because the thought or returning to the village was too great. "If you don't take in the negative you'll never appreciate the positive, you'd have nothing to smile about upon our return."

Thus a long walk, Draven's mental eye alert. The path set. The Land of Fire would come quickly. One last country to traverse before the boarders of Sound. He would smile....

Indeed it was time to go home. She still enjoyed a leisurely stroll. "Do you wish to come to Grass after our stop home? I can pick up another team to go and I'd be able to leave you in charge that way." They were weighty words, offering him some manner of control over the village while he was gone. She was offering quite a line of trust here. Soon the scenery was changing. They were nearing home and Draven was running out of time to make his decision.

As they walked he would consider the words. It was interesting to "keep an eye on things", something he wouldn't mind doing. He would nod, "Yes I wouldn't mind the responsability. I do have some buisness to conduct in the village, so a trip to Grass would impede some of my work." As the boarder of fire drew closer he would question, "What would you need me to do in the village?" He would ask as they crossed the boarder to fire. He of course looked on his map and with the use of compass confirmed it was indeed Fire country...

Draven would notice the silence. He would observe it. So many things to do when they ventured back to stone. He would respect the quiet and keep his wits about him. The walk in fire country would be a long one. He would keep an eye on his map and compass checking it periodically. If there would be any intruders he would know 200 meters out from their chakra signatures...
