The Uchiha lay down in a small meadow inside of the village of Kusagakure no Sato, the summer sun beating down overhead, yet he was partially shielded by the branches of a solitary oak tree. His Banryu was sunk into the earth beside him and his coat hung around it, while the Uchiha wore only the long sleeved white button down shirt tucked into black, tailored slacks. On his hands were his normal black leather gloves with shock enhancements and a pair of dress shoes fitted with athletic soles were upon his feet. With his back leaning very slightly against the tree the black eyed man's lips parted and he began to sing to himself.
The beat was going in his head as the words left his lips, "I can't see where you coming from, but I know just what you running from. And what matters ain't the 'who's baddest' but the one who stops you from falling from your ladder, baby." The tune was one he had heard several times on the radio, it was a song that he enjoyed. He was not perfect in his recitation, but his goal was not for perfection, truthfully. "And you feel like you're feeling now and doing things just to please the crowd. When I love you like the way I love you and I suffer but I'm not going to cut you because."
He could feel that some of the words just weren't right, they did not fit well with the song, but he pressed on for now. He would listen to it later and make appropriate corrections. "This is no place for a hero, this is no place for a better man. This is no place for a hero, to call 'home'. This is no place for a hero, this is no place for a better man. This is no place for a hero, to call 'home'." He was getting a little frustrated at himself that he couldn't remember the next verse, so he went on with what he did know.
"I can't see where you're coming from, but I can see what you're running from." Yes, it was a repetition of the song's introduction with a slightly different tempo to the beat. "And what matters isn't the who's baddest, but who stops you from falling from your ladder, baby. This is no place for a hero, this is no place for a better man. This is no place for a hero, to call home." With that the song was done, the quality of how he sang did not truly bother him, what was bothering him was his inability to remember the words properly.
