The Sleepy Duckling, was a rather large inn that had rooms in the upper floors, and a bar with fire place behind tables and chairs. beside of it is a barn that houses the animals. This is where the young bride to be was staying before she abruptly vanished on her family. The Inn keepers are a well known source of information from around the town if they talk. The common folks hold their own secrets as well, if you are able to get them to speak. It is unknown why the family picked 'The Sleepy Duckling' Inn for their place of waiting for the chosen day. The Inn keeper is short in height, long beard, speaks common, and is crusty in his good moods, his place is run a profitable business. The place where the Inn is at is on the far wet side of the village, this is the area that where they are mining the stones for a project that the Lady kage decreed. The road is muddy black, a ashe of some kind is running into the mud, but it not sure where the ashe is coming from as of yet.

Zeki steps into the Inn with a dull expression on his face, glancing around at the patrons. He did not like what he saw and was quite happy that he had hidden his flying device nearby in a tree. No, that was not because he messed up the landing once more, he truly meant to go headfirst into that tree at that speed on purpose. Either way, the device was nicely positioned in between two branches with some camouflage in the form of leaves and branches surrounding it.

The Sadojin steps to the side to let his companion enter the building, commenting "This place is a dump. Why would a bride of a lord wound even step foot in this place is beyond me, much less stay here. But please, take the lead when dealing with people. My social skills are not...great." when she walked in. He then takes his time to scan the occupants for any suspicious activity, not wanting any surprises to come up.

Michiko Hyuuga stands at exactly 150cm in height wearing a pair of BDU Trousers covering her from the waist to her ankles. She keeps a Cloak wrapped around her upper body and the hood pulled at most times to cover the rest of her apperance only leaving her unclad feet sticking out to show her steel skin, giving some the first thought that she's wearing steel boots. When not pulled back its very difficult to see her solid steel body through the draping of the cloak and hood, which also obscure sight to her Utility belt and butt bag. Before the two entered the building Michiko , under her cloak so as to not display to the world , discretely withdrew a few explosive tags and placed them on various locations of her body. She stuck two to each arm, one on each upper arm and one on each forearm near the elbow joint so as to keep them from being seen if her hands were sticking out of the cloak but usually she kept the cloak draped in a manner to cover her entire body except her feet. While Zeki speaks Michiko’s hooded figure remains motionless. Her Byakugan scanning the entire building within the range of her sight. She scans through walls, floorboards and ceilings alike. She takes a moment to get a rough generalization of where most of the people are and takes note of any hidden anomalies. As people approach her, or as she approaches people she makes sure to scan them for weapons and keeps an eye on the general chakra output of the people around her. Entering an area like this she prefers to keep alert. Thankfully using the byakugan is nearly as easy as using her normal sight and so quickly glancing for these things is almost second nature. Judging by Zeki’s physical stance and concentration he appears to be just as alert as Michiko as the two enter the establishment. Michiko enters the building fully alongside her companion and moves with a casual but slow walk towards the counter. Keeping her hands tucked into the hooded cloak the only visible portion of her body are her steel feet. She keeps an eye on her surroundings , all 360 degrees. Upon reaching the counter she takes a seat at an empty barstool and awaits the bartender to approach or acknowledge her. Upon approach or acknowledgement she speaks: ”Hello. I am looking for some information concerning an individual who was supposed to be staying here recently. Would you be who I need to speak to?” She states in a soft but non-faltering voice. During her speaking she leans forward slightly in a vague attempt at conversing with almost hushed tones. From under her hooded cloak she watches the person she’s speaking to but with her byakugan also glances all around at those around her to keep an eye out for someone displaying peaked interest. The barkeeper would look up at the two people entering his Inn. His eyes narrowed slightly as he would move around the counter to face the pair. His height was terrifying as he glanced at the pair, the size of the man was about 300 pounds, not much of it was fat, it was all meat on his bones. Strangers were not welcome fully in this part of Stone village, it was the area for where the civil unrest was at the greatest here. There is a risk of running into the many fractions of the civil uprising. Strangely the inn keeper is part of the factions of unrest, but due to being a Inn keeper he likes to dabble everywhere, more so if it means money. He would look over the pair then speaking, in a deep voice,

There was the normal actives can be seen in the girl's eyes as she would look over looking for things. If anything the family that look elvish was weeping as if they lost someone to the death. There was many men about the Inn, some smoking in front of the fire place, and couple men in the back corner talking among themselves. All but the keeper are dwarfs, most of them are talking about something that they went quiet about when the pair walked in.

Should she find signs that the woman was being held here , either in a floor somewhere above or below, she would signal to Zeki to move in close so she could whisper in his ear to alert him to what she found. "Todd can show you the rooms they left behind, they all went to see the lord not more then three hours ago. The time to look around is now."

Zeki walks forward to stand beside Michiko, hearing the story the bartender told. "From my understanding, we should be questioning the family next. Although I doubt you needed me to tell you that." he tells the iron-skinned shinobi before turning to look at Todd. The Sadojin snorted as he thought "Humans and their biology are so weird." before moving to follow the dwarf.

Almost as a afterthought, he pauses and turns to Michiko. "We need to watch ourselves. There are two types of people that allow something to slip under their nose like that, so to speak. Fools and schemers. And neither of them are good news for us." He warns before resuming his following of the dwarf.

Todd is a short little guy, his voice though is another thing, its broad and deep as he would merely speak,

he would lead them up the steps to a room. No one downstairs made a move in their diction, no one followed them, and no one tried anything funny. The room they were taken to was clean and empty of people. There didnt seem to be anything that would show someone was using the room, and the room it was connected to expect for the ashes in the fire, where it was burning low, and there seemed to be burnt pages of something in the fireplace as well. There was a vase of flowers on the table in the corner by a bed, with black feathers though the vase of dark red roses. There was dust on the bed table. But may had been the strangest thing was, a corner of the rug was moved, and to ever seeing eyes, it would show the floor boards with a empty space below it. Todd would move out of the wave of the pair, he would half bow to them as he would then leave.

I did however notice a few things as we entered.” She stated walking towards the fireplace slowly. ”Firstly, the fireplace here has recently been used and it appears to have been used to burn some papers, of what they are im not sure.” She states as she bends down slightly to try and examine the remains to see if anything is legible. ”The black feathers near the vase….” She states pointing behind her towards the vase without actually facing in that direction. ”…. are interesting. If I recall my ritual history correctly there is a clan that uses a secret ritual to give themselves bird wings, maybe there is someone from that clan involved. That or maybe her dress was made with dark feathers. On top of that, the empty space below the floor under the rug is interesting. Zeki enters the room behind the white-eyed shinobi, hearing her explain the interesting things in the room. "So they are schemers. Who the schemers are should be the next question we try to answer. We must look into the possibility that the Bride ran away, either to escape her family out of fear or some other reason. Perhaps she was in love with another man, or woman, and did not want to get married to the lord. Or maybe she was abducted by a cannibalistic cult, and the remains we find of her will barely be identifiable. I personally hope it is more of the second." he says back as he moves to the hidden compartment under the rug and opens it.

"Also, I noticed that your eyes had veins running through them. The fact that you do not move your head means that you eyesight is extended somehow. Interesting feature." he says, trying to make conversation while searching the hidden compartment.

The contents of the space under the rug at first glance was bare of anything, unless Zeki places his hand in the space there, and he would find his hand touching a box, as his hand vanishes from view to another world. If he touches the along the wall, it will feel gooy and slimy as if it is in the bottom of something nasty. And if he pulls out the box, he will find that it is heavy and requires help to pull it out.


Michiko on the other hand will have a hard time in reading what the fading message will say as its not written in the common tongue. But the fading words will read,

Zeki does stick his hand to feel around, though since he is made of sand, does not actually feel disgusted by the alternate dimension, and finds the box. "I seem to have stumbled across something. A square shaped object, heavy, in some sort of...biological space." he tells her, withdrawing his hand and looking at the slime upon it. "Any ideas to how to get it out? I know a way, but it will expend a fair amount of my chakra."

Aiming her face away from Zeki her expression changes slightly as her mouth fills considerably with some substance that Zeki soon finds out is water as she spews it towards the floor near him. The water blob doesnt hit the ground before it rapidly forms into a standing replica of Michiko. She repeates the spewing two more times creating a total of three Water Clones. " That sould do it. Surround and lift." She orders as the clones move into place. When zeki gets into place they all cram side by side in whatever configuration is the best and all begin to pull the box out of its storage spot. Zeki watches the process with a stony face, stepping back a little to make sure he is not hit by any stray droplets. Once everyone is in position, though he keeps a distance between himself and the clones, he helps try to move box. "I hope this is worth it. Failing this, you might just be able to stick your head in the alternate dimension and see what is inside of it." he comments as they go to lift.

The box was now easier to lift and it came out of the hole slowly, but steady. Once it was out, it would a pure white box, with the most Orient carvings all over on it over laid with white teeth that felt like ivory. Once its out, they cant see a way to open the box without braking it. But there attached to the box by a snag of a small string, on the end of the string there is a note, there written in common,

"The broken will pay the breaker. Find the key to the lock."

It was then that they would see that the opening is the floor boards. There carved in the floorboard is image of a single word,

"So, it seems that we are not suppose to break the box. And this "Irisdis" is our only clue. I say we get one of your clones to break the box from a safe distance so we can just hurry up and find this bride." Zeki comments after they had set the box down and discovered everything that it had to offer.

"Unless you have a better plan, that is. We may not even need to open the box. Perhaps we can find out all we need to know from the family."

" Judging by the way in which we found the box, feeling like an alternate dimension and all, and its statement of "the broken will 'pay' the breaker, something tells me its not a fortuitous form of payment. In fact I would be willing to bet the "payment" would be greatly negative. And i doubt using a clone would deter it from targeting me directly. No. I think keeping it in tact and finding out this "key" it speaks of would probably be more in our favor." Effect: Determines the durability of the user's Steel Body. Special: "Hand Seals", supplementary in Weapon Form. Drawback: The more durable the body is, the less speed that the user has. The speed is of the user is reduced by one Difficulty Class from their current Difficulty Class for every Rank of the technique that the user has active. If at any point the user's Difficulty Class for movements reduces below "D" Rank, they will be considered to have zero movements per turn, unless they are performing the required handseals to obtain a lower Durability. Description: The Koutestu no Karada, or the Steel Body, is the understanding of just how powerful the user's steel has become. The Steel of the body is capable of resisting up to one strike of the same Rank as it before becoming injured. This technique, while not in weapon form, can be modified around, due to the fact that the lower the ranking, the faster that the user is capable of moving with less training. When the user has transformed into Weapon Form, they will automatically take the highest rank of this ability in order to state their durability. Special: --- Drawback: Must learn the technique for every rank of Koutetsu no Karada or else the user will suffer from movement penalties. Description: This specialized form of training is given to those individuals within the Seitetsu Clan. Upon becoming an individual with the Steel Body technique, the user's own speeds will dramatically suffer. This training allows the user to act as if they were unaffected by the steel transitions within the body, allowing them to fight normally. Each Rank of this technique reduces the Difficulty Class Movement Penalty imposed by the Steel Body technique by one Difficulty Class, meaning that if the user only has the "D" Rank of this technique but switches to "B" Rank Steel Body, then they will have their movements reduced to the point that they would move as if they were two Difficulty Classes lower than they were, instead of three. If they have the "C" Rank Steel Body, then they will suffer only a singular class deduction with the "B" Rank Steel Body, and the "B" Rank of this technique would allow for no Difficulty Class Movement Penalty for the "B" Rank Steel Body. Todd would have vanished as they would it the hallway of the upper floors. The innkeeper downstairs would be tending to his bar while two people were now uneasy in the corner. They would look at each other and then would move to walk to the door as they heard the footsteps coming down the steps. They would vanish into the street and the innkeeper would shake his head at them both. He would place a cup in front of a old man who was trying to get him to pay him in a coin given to him by a group of people the innkeeper disliked.

"Pay me when you get a real coin, elder."

The man would merely sigh and sake his head at the innkeeper before he would slide the coin over to the keeper again,

"I say it again its a real coin, inn keeper. Its worth a sum, since I got it from a young woman near the gates of this village. She was a real good looker too, if I was young again! Too bad about her dress though, ripped, soiled and use to be a white lace. It would have made any young man's heart sing."

The old man would laugh as the innkeeper would slip the coin back at him,

"You must have gotten that coin from a new bloodluster, you can keep it. Because your not as young as you use to be, may be why your still breathing, elder, I will bet my inn on it."
