I told her, looking over to my left to notice a strange medical device. It was a bandage of some sort. It looked rather interesting, to say the least, but I wasn't entirely sure how useful it was. Regardless, at least it wasn't someone trying to give me a ritual that I couldn't actually use. And as long as it's not a saxophone, I should be okay.

She was not quite as sure as he, but she pocketed the wallet regardless, secretly a little happy to have the money, even if it was somebody else's after all. It seemed as though they were not like to get it back. Tieren turned away from her, then, and she followed his gaze, seeing an ax embedded in a stump off the side of the road. Why someone had chosen to fell that specific tree was beyond her. When their gazes returned to each other, the young girl again took notice of the older man's headband. "You're a cloud shinobi," She had been meaning to say. It was hardly a question.

After a moment, her hand went to her opposite arm, and she clutched at the treacherous plate metal. Of course, she was displaying her sigil clearly. She sighed. I am such a failure, she thought, but corrected herself. Such a joke.  "Yes, I am," She responded, as though nothing had occurred. She then averted her eyes sullenly. "Not that I... really wanna be..." 'Twas quite odd, that she revealed that little nugget of information, but, far from home, from hopeful mothering and clueless fathering, she saw less reason to hide herself. Besides, Tieren seemed trustworthy enough. It was then that an enormous turkey lumbered out onto the road a ways back from the girl. Hearing the fall of its giant feet, the girl whirled around and, in her panic, backed right into Tieren, whom, while not a subject of complete confidence, was at least not seven feet tall, nor an ugly bird, nor probably as barbarous as a wild animal. She again stumbled away from and pushed at him reflexively when she saw that he had drawn a gleaming blade, though it was obvious he had no intention of using it on her. "Sorry!" Came her gasped apology. Breathing a little heavily, the girl turned to look at the creature, which hardly seemed to have noticed the pair. "A-are those things normal in your country?!" Sachiko asked.

I watched as the Turkey didn't stick around for much longer, but felt April push me a little after she noticed the Naginata. I then heard her apology and shook my head.

I said with a smile, still looking at the area where the giant turkey was at before.

"I have to say... I've not seen those before. It's definitely not common around here, considering I've lived in this country my whole life."

I said, shaking my head a little as I noticed a book fall from the sky after a dragon flew overhead. I looked over the book and smiled, noting that it contained various rituals. This was an item I would definitely keep.

"For the record... Seeing Dragons is not something common around here either."

He was awfully kind, this Mr. Drasani. Sachiko didn't know many people very well (so this was not saying much), but if there was anyone that was not her mother that she could have shared in this minor catastrophe, it would have been him. The turkey had scurried off, thankfully; apparently it too was an anomaly. But it was not the only intruder.  A man, traveling west towards the docks, stopped as he passed by them. He looked at both Tieren and Sachiko in turn; Sachiko stared back at him in confusion, before the stranger also drew his sword, and threatened Sachiko! In a panic, she held her hands up to show she was unarmed, hoping Tieren would come to her defense if things got ugly - she was certainly not fit to take on a seasoned swordsman! - but after she did so, the man dropped his blade and fled, leaving Sachiko as scared as she was puzzled. To top it all off, a great glinting winged beast soared overhead, blotting out the sun for an instant. "W-...was that a d-...d-..." "For the record... Seeing Dragons is not something common around here either." Sachiko glanced towards Tieren after he spoke, before she looked at the ground. It was a strange feeling for her to experience, but with all these random events, she wanted to huddle up to him like a little girl. But he was a stranger, relatively - she could not even confirm that he was not dangerous, or plotting her demise! (after all, they were shinobi of different, if not hostile villages) - and it was hardly appropriate to cuddle up to strangers. "...Okay..." She said tremulously, sulking a little. She still had not learned to brace herself for the inevitable next encounter...
