Rope get cut, happens all the time but there was of course the redundancy of the escorts to solve that issue. "If the ropes cut then default to the pairings I mentioned, find your way back down to the bottom of the mountain outside of the mist, and if you're unable to make contact with the group then return here. This seal thing would suffice well for my daughters safety. So unless there are any more questions, let us be off!" The lab coat wearing man began to strut through the crowd and leave the village only for his assistant to call him up. "Professor, shouldn't you take your bag?" Having slipped his mind altogether he was quick to spin around an answer her. "Ah, yes, quite right assistant. Fetch it for me and we'll be on our way Operation Iðunn begin!" With a salute the blonde girl darted away and appeared again with a large, large, backpack strapped to her self which she somehow carried with ease. It held a lot of items, necessities for travel as well as climbing materials. Of note to any Byuakugan utilising persons who just may be about would also be the abundance of cola bottles labelled 'Mr Repper' filled with a fizzy substance. "Let's be off then! Tu tu ru!" Qwerty exclaimed brightly as she and the group began to leave.
Malva would bow shortly and apologise for her fathers behaviour as well as the enabling behaviour of Qwerty. "I'm sorry. My father gets like this sometimes. Especially when it's about his work." If the group decided to stick with the science trio they would find a long walk ahead of them. The mountains were a couple days walk from the village being at the north-eastern boarders of the country right beneath Hot Spring Country. Malva would find the journey rather arduous as well. Baring above a child, the distance was challenging but with some assistance she would manage just fine, Zuruel would find himself having to cater to her as he was in Scott's words - her guardian for the time being.
If any of the trio was expecting some sort of ruse or trouble to come of the three they were guarding, they would find their expectations unfulfilled. Throughout the trek there was actually no issues with bandits, with deception. Nothing, just three young scientists walking to a mountain. On this note, there would be one rather blatant issue arising from the Scott/Malva situation. Anyway you looked at it Malva was in her early teens, most likely 13-14 but early teens. Then next to her, Scott. He was at most in his early twenties and that was somewhat the same situation in regard to Qwerty. Just how did these two come into possession of the young Malva? A man proclaiming to be a mad scientist with an unusual assistant by his side. A man who would often go on small rants to himself speaking of some kind of 'Organisation' that was following but in such an absurd way one could easily tell that it was made up. The three guards would discover this quite easily as they travelled.
At the end of the hike the group would find the mountain range in question, out of the way with no one or any semblance of society in vision. It was so out of place that with the rumours of it being a death trap kept most anyone away but it was a stunning sight to behold. Nature at its finest, this range was untouched by human. A large river lay beneath the mountains wrapped with dense trees such as silver birch. The earth was a dark shade of brown, it was healthy, and the mountains hung high above it all, laced down the middle with a noticeable fog. The mountains peaks were capped with snow they were so high up. It would be a challenge to reach the summit but the destination was not the top of the mountain, it was the middle of the mountains. Sectioned easily into two distinct areas, top and bottom, by a line of mist it was within this mist that the rocks and minerals that Scott sought were supposed to exist but it's also where the danger lied. "Qwerty, my rope!" The scientists assistant immediately produced what he sought, the rope. "Now then, let's get ready to climb. Here's where the fun starts."
Unlike his previous behaviour, as he said these words, Scott held a sense of seriousness. It was easy to read him as being heavily involved in this research expedition. It meant a lot to him.
