[Jimarai Kotetsu]

Exiting the earth and pulling himself up Jimarai would lay the woman down upon the ground. Her condition seemed to worsen, that much he could discern, but other than putting pressure on a wound and popping a dislocated joint back into place, Jimarai's medical knowledge would end there.

A movement in the corner of his eye triggered a quick response from Jimarai. He reached back into his equipment pouch and drew a kunai, turning on his heel and facing he would be assailant.

A man stood before him, no headband visible. He stood, nervous and cowering. Perhaps he wasn't an enemy. No doubt Jim had startled him further.

Sheathing his kunai and flashing some practiced seals, a second copy of Jimarai would emerge from the earth, just as he had done himself moments ago. The clone would kneel and scoop the woman up in his arms.

"I don't know who you are, or what side you are on, but look at this woman" he would start, staring the man down. "She is clearly very hurt and needs medical attention. She is pregnant for Gods sake!" I need you to accompany my clone to the hospital. Make sure she gets there safely. Then go back to your home, bar the door until morning. It is not safe out here ... I'd avoid using the main streets in this district as well."

If the man was complicit, he would lead the earthen clone with the woman in his arms to the hospital.

{EXIT CLONE}

Turning back to the building, Jimarai would draw his tachi and look for a door at the rear of the building, out of view of the street. Upon finding one, he would try to open it and push it open with his sword incase of booby traps, readying himself for more conflict.

Surely something external had to be making these people act this way? A transmitter of some sort? Maybe even a person within, controlling them under a genjutsu perhaps?

Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu - Rock Clone Technique[80]
Rank: B, C-rank for additional training.
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Using their understanding of the earth and minerals within it, the user is capable of bringing those components to the surface, compacting and shaping them into a perfect clone of the user.
Special: Handseals - Dragon, Snake, Ox, Goat, Snake
Drawback: Because of the dense material they are composed of, the clones are rather slow moving when compared to the average shinobi. A source of earth is also needed. (Meaning, if you are in a ship in the middle of the ocean, you will not be able to use this.) In addition, due to the amount of chakra taken to harden and sculpt the earth, only a maximum of five clones can be created per round.
Description: After performing the proper handseals, the user’s chakra surges into the earth, compacting it tightly to form stone. This stone then surfaces and sculpts itself, becoming an exact copy of the user. When first learned, the user has the ability to create two clones. This amount will also increase naturally depending on the difficulty class of the user. The Clones are capable of using any technique affiliated to their element.
D --- 2 clones
C --- 4 clones
B --- 6 clones
A --- 8 clones
S --- 10 clones

For C-rank training, the user can also increase the amount of clones created by one, up to a maximum 20 clones.
Being composed of stone, these clones are much more stable and durable than most others. Depending on the difficult class of the user, they can take so many hits before losing their form and crumbling. Note that if the attacks these clones take are TaiJutsu, the amount is reduced by one. This means while a clone at C rank might be able to take 2 C-rank Ninjutsu, 1 C-rank Taijutsu strike will shatter it. Unless there is an attack that states otherwise, thrown weaponry and stabbing/slashing weaponry count as D-rank attacks. Bludgeoning weapons (such as hammers or clubs) are C-rank strikes. This is because it is easier to smash a stone then it is cut it. The formula is that for each rank in difficulty the user is, the clone may take two strikes of that level, or any combination, as long as the following applies: 1 S = 2 A = 4 B = 8 C = 16 D. (One difficulty class equals two of the previous) Ex. At B rank, a clone would be able to take 1 B-rank strike, and 2 C-ranks. Alternatively, it could take 2 C-ranks and 4 D-ranks. Many combinations are possible, as long as they add up.

[The Blind Beast]

Shenjie could feel the success of his movements, landing perfectly throwing a thumbs up at the retreating crowd. “Put down your weapons citizens,” Shenjie would request as suddenly he felt people coming at him once again. Quickly grabbing the pitchfork that had been impaled in the guy using a swift kick to the base of the object, snapping it at the base of its shaft, figuring if he removed the whole weapon he would cause the fellow more harm, leaving the point in him and only taking the shafted staff. Twirling the staff a bit, Shenjie would prepare to take on the approaching forces. “Bring it,” Shenjie offered not making the first move, holding the makeshift bo staff in the basic stance as she prepared for combat, ignoring the fact that the chuunin fellow had made an appearance, figuring that his comrades would handle that fellow while he fought these people. One problem at a time right?

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: Without this Jutsu the Clan is capable of just listening with sharpen hearing. What this Jutsu does is by using the chakra along their eardrum, labyrinth system, as well as the outer ear of the body the user makes their ear into something of a sonar. This sonar system enables the brain to remember certain points by sound wave frequencies that hits the ear from a pebble hitting the water, to a person walking along grass. The Sonar system enables the Shitakuma clan to basically see. This is greatly used when Rain falls down for every time a drop hits the ground it emits a sound so basically they are capable to see for the first time in their lives. When first learned the distance that one is capable of understanding and remembering is the distance of fifty meters. After each time learned the distance goes up by twenty meters.
Special: The first time learned the user must do the signs of Dragon, Rabbit, Dragon, Ram. After the first time there would be no need for the seals.
Drawback: Must be trained into this more then once. Without the proper training of a technique such as Kusokesuni and Advanced version sounds could cause dizziness or damage to the user. The sounds to create this must be sounds that are greatly abrupt and fast which must be near the ear like a Flash/Bang grenade.
Description: When sound frequencies hit the ear it creates a sonar in which the mind remembers in a certain distance until the sound waves hit the ear once again. It looks as if the user is capable of seeing in such a way but it is just a technique that enables the user to know where to go and how far objects are at. They are capable of seeing shapes, and size, but the thing is they are not capable of seeing defined objects.
Limit: Only a technique for the Shitakuma Clan

Effect: By pouring their chakra into the ground, by using th earth release the user is capable of sensing or seeing in a sense what is along the ground, in the ground, identifying what is around them.

Drawback: Someone needs to touch the ground in order for the person to see. This means that even the user can see by stepping. This also means that the user must be touching the ground at all times. This technique does not work on water, sand, or metal or ice. The ground is to loose for the user to see the vibrations along the ground, or is to concentrated which creates less vibrations.
Description: When first learned the user is capable of seeing in a radius of five meters. After each time learned it increases by ten meters. When ever the user steps, or when another steps in the radius of tremor sense, the mind of the user picks up the vibrations along the feet creating a somewhat of a picture of the user. Since people have water constricted within their own bodies as well as metalic components of the body a user could see the movements of the body in blur like motion, where they can guess if an attack is coming towards them. This is the beginning stage of the tremor sense technique and is the foundation of the tremor sense techniques. When learned their is a thirty percent chance that the user is capable of defending against melee attacks within arms reach. This however does not mean that after each attack someone comes forth to role a die. It just means that the chances of trying to stop melee attacks is not as well or as concentrated as one would wish it to be.
Limit: Anyone can learn, but it takes an extreme amount of chakra unless they master earth techniques or is part of the Shitakuma clan. Can only be learned if learning the blind way of life.

Effect: This technique allows the user to sense if someone is or is not lieing, by sensing the vibrations of the body as well as heart rythm.

Special: Must have tremor sense, can either touch the opponent or must be in a distance of half of what you can do within Tremor Sense Expertise.

Drawback: If the opponent has special techniques that enables a calm body and heart, there is a chance that the user will not know if the person is lieing.

Description: By placing the hand of the user within the distance instructed or upon the opponent, the user sees the heart and body vibrations where the user is capable of seeing if the opponent is leing or not. In the mind of the user they are capable of seeing a cyloyte of the person as the body vibrations shoot in all directions

Boxers Mentality

Skill: Supplementary
Effect: By fighting on and on, a boxer becomes more proficient when an attack may come by. This happens usually when the boxer becomes unable to see the attack. However by being in combat for so much they can feel when an attack is coming making them less able to be flanked.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class.
Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Boxer is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique cannot use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher.

[Hiroji]

Unfortunately, Denounce does not work on anything that is not an outsider, and so the man merely shrugs that off with barely a notice that it had ever happened in the first place. The Chuunin looked down at the current Kage as the Fear Genjutsu washed over him, a smile creeping to his face as he mentally pummeled the pathetic attempt, like the bully verses the nerd in a bout of physical strength. Opening his mouth to speak, the Chuunin’s voice boomed over the field again. “I make no excuse that I am a murder, but those men, they are not my Countrymen. No. My Countrymen have the mark! They wear the symbol! They were part of Godric!”

He points at you, although he uses no obvious techniques, but his hopes are that he can cut you with his words rather than jutsu. “You, however, kill your Countrymen. Where I am a contained monster, merely killing those not of Godric, you three have killed without remorse. I prefer it that way, honestly. Keeps this…interesting.” He laughed like a mad zealot, one who does not fear those around him, for his god will protect him. These types of men were always dangerous, but it would seem as though Hiroji would have to handle business another way. A crowd had begun to gather and listen to you both however, curious how this would play out.

[Jimarai]

Jimarai’s extraction of the woman would prove to be successful, as well as the older man behind the building, both moving out with the clone toward the hospital outside of the combat zone. As he enters the building, he will find that there are no booby traps set for him, and there is in fact nothing but the usual shop layout and décor. The shop itself is not large, but there is a staircase to your right (left if you had entered from the front of the shop), opposite the counter, leading upward to the second floor. The rest of the shop was almost pristine, a little bit of trash here and there from a lack of cleaning, most likely from the riot that had begun today distracting the shop keep as he joined the masses of Godric. There is an unusual ticking sound coming from the second floor however, like a rhythmic click from a light that would come on and off, blinking it would sound like but it was faint and coming through the airduct at the back of the building (above you.)

[Shenjie]

Shenjie was no longer surrounded, the mob having backed away with a bit of fear, as the Shitakuma had just forced one of their friends to be impaled and showed no difference. A few could not help but think that this was not how it would be, that the Shinobi would not kill them. More than a few dropped their makeshift weapons, backing away from the Shitakuma, and instead fleeing the area, nearly trampling each other to get away. A lot joined the crowd forming around Hiroji and the Chuunin, who was now quite visible, as he was a platform higher than Hiroji himself. There was yelling, then the booming voice again, claiming that the three of you were the true murderers, as you killed without remorse. Could that be true? One merely need to look at the man with a pitchfork through him, the handle broken off to make a weapon. But Shenjie now had space to move and roam.

The Tsuchikage Stands

Genjutsu failed against this man, he should have figured. When it came down to it things relating to the mind, things relating to illusion were not his forte. Hiroji merely adopted a variety of smaller jutsu to make himself appear more talented than he truly was, such laziness was costing him now. As Tsuchikage he should strive to do better in the future but the fact he didn't laid truth to the words he was about to speak. "While it's true I have laid harm to my people here today I did so for two reasons. The first was accidental of course and that lay the foundation for the second reason that being I'm not strong enough to get the job done without casualties because I AM NOT GODRIC! Godric was strong, powerful! He was a true leader, probably the greatest Tsuchikage in the history of our Village!" The Uchiha spoke boldly, his words no longer directed at the former shinobi before him who could no longer see reason and instead the crowd.

Raising his voice further he began to shout at them. "But where is he now?!" He paused a moment before continuing, attempting to allow his words to echo into hearts of those in the crowd. "He abandoned you! If he truly cared for you would he not be here protecting you?! Get it through your head people, he's gone now. He's abandoned you, he's abandoned me, he's abandoned the village! He's gone, left of his own volition. I sure as hell didn't make him leave, a man of his prowess? I could never! But what's done is done, now I'm here picking up the pieces he left behind and you people are trying to stand in my way and your expecting me NOT to rise against you? Foolish." Despite his addressing the crowd Hiroji's eyes never left the shinobi in front of him, dropping your guard in the face of the opponent was a sure ticket to getting yourself killed. He had hoped that what he said would get some of the crowd onto his side but he wasn't expecting much. This was going to end in a fight, it was already predetermined. Still, with words he could make out the rioters to be the bad guy despite his adding to the casualty count.

"Join me! With my ascension to Tsuchikage the rebellion of the past was quelled. Let's not begin another!" No more words could be said now. It was this or nothing. Genjutsu wouldn't even help him any more, not that it did any before.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

His clone away with the woman, and the civilian in tow, Jim chalked it up as a small victory this evening. He had saved at least one life, maybe a second if his clone could get to the hospital in time.

Meanwhile, Jimarai cautiously entered through the rear of the building. It was dark and messed up, likely the organisers of the riot had coordinated from here. There was nothing particularly of note until two things caught Jimarai's attention:

First, the crow outside died down and there were two dominant voices. An unknown and the Uchiha's from before. They were debating now, trying to bring an end to the violence. Jimarai could only discern the odd word as he was in the building but it sounded as though the Tsuchikage was trying to throw the blame back onto the crowd. Probably not the best move, particularly when they are all not in their right minds.

The second thing to catch his attention was a slight ticking sound from upstairs. The way the speech was going, Jim didn't have much chance to investigate before the violence flaired up again. Quickly reaching into his equipment pouch beneath his trenchcoat, he removed 12 explosive tags. Hurriedly placing them around the downstairs room, he placed one half way up the walls in each corner and on each wall (8 Tags). This would ensure the building collapsed on itself and that little debris would enter the street. Placing two on the roof above him would ensure that the floor above would collapse as well.

Civilians ... Damnit!

Considering there may be someone up stairs where the sound was emanating from, Jimarai pocketed the two remaining tags and bounded up the stairs to clear the area before destroying the building.

[Hiroji]

The speech given by Hiroji is…moving, to say the least. It is powerful and seemingly heartfelt, washing over the crowd, that angry mob, and they begin to grow a little more docile for the moment. Something else is happening, they are blinking a bit and looking around, a little lost it would seem at why they are doing this. They look at their friends, their allies, and the scene around them with a dazed expression. The Chuunin’s face begins to darken as he sees this, placing his right index finger to his ear, which is an easily seen motion. “Crank the power! They’re breaking the bond!” Putting his hand down, he rushes Hiroji now, his fists his only weapon which could indicate he is a Taijutsu fighter.

Having been higher up than Hiroji, he launches a flying knee toward the Kage as he descends, having jumped toward him. If the knee connects, there will be no further actions, as it would send the Kage staggering back from the force of it, if not sprawling him on the floor before those around them. If not, he would land with a skid and spin to face his opponent, although no further action would be taken, since he was unsure what this Kage was capable of. This Chuunin was a calculating man, it seemed.

As Jimarai gains the floor from the stairwell, you find that you are in an attic of sorts, or perhaps an upper level storage, as it is a single room that fills the entire floor. Before him seems to be a type of machine, a muted green glow emanating from a several bulbs surrounding the device show that it is functional, along with the crew of about 5 men with the Godric Headbands on their head moving about the device. Now Jimarai can hear beeping coming from the machine and a voice that punctuates the air, not from the machine, but from a radio device back and to the left from it. “Crank the Power! They’re breaking the bond!” These men have not noticed you yet, so intent on their work, as they set about attuning dials and nobs on the contraption that rests in the center of the floor, the green light slowly beginning to increase.

The Tsuchikage Stands

This chuunin may be calculating, but Hiroji was on a whole other level. As he rushed Hiroji the Uchiha was able to tell right away that he was unable to contend with him with taijutsu. A fighter he was not but a mentalist he was very. The shield on his left forearm, that was going to be very important for him as he would simply allow the flying knee to strike him. With the aid of his sharingan he would position the shield in the path of the chuunin's attack and brace himself behind it whilst with the right hand he would touch at his right cheek for a defensive boost he was going to need. Now, Hiroji wasn't much of an actor but it was time to put into effect a plan that he was sure was going to be great.

The men and women in the crowd seemed to be taken with his speech but still unsure. A final push may be enough to push them over the edge and this chuunin was going to be it. Now, the part that needed no acting. The knee set sail and struck the buckler on Hiroji arm sending the Tsuchikage sailing a solid couple of feet before he staggered to fall to his backside on the ground. He would fain being badly hurt when in fact it wasn't much of a strike at all after how well he took it. "Uggh!" On the ground Hiroji's mind never left the battle and his eyes from his vulnerable position were forced to keep themselves focused directly upon the chuunin. Now for the acting part.

With a look of utter contempt Hiroji glared at his assailant. "Is this the way of the Greath Godric?!" he cried in defiance. "To murder those weaker than themselves? That does not sound like something the Great Godric, Tsuchikage of the Village Hidden in the Stone, would approve of." Hiroji would clammer to his feet and continue his beratement. "The Godric I know, the Godric I love, would see you for what you are and cast you away! He would throw you out of the village for your actions! You think I did this, I caused the scene's before you? If he were to return this instance and see this he would strike you down where you stand." Hiroji swallowed a lump in his throat and continued. If this didn't work he still had a chance and winning this day but it was only slight. If things didn't go well now he would either end up killing a lot of his people or dying himself at the hands of the mob. This was it.

"You said before that you were killing only those who were not of Godric but here you are trying to end my life. Do you not believe I am of Godric? Because I assure you that I am indeed of Godric. But where is he?!" Again he appealed to the crowd. "Where did the Great Godric go? He left us! He abandoned us! What would you have me do, send everyone out to find him? What of the village then? How could the village be safe if everyone was out looking for him. So what do we do then if not that? Do we sit and wait for him? Maybe he'll come back and lead us again if we do, but maybe not. Maybe we go a hundred years with him not returning. What would happen to the village then? I'm here because neither option is available. I'm here because in order for there to be a village for Godric to return to, we need to manage ourselves in the meantime. I in fact wanted to send shinobi out to find him!" This is where everything could fall apart as that last statement was a complete lie. He never intended for Godric to come back, he never intended to even allow him to enter the village again.

"I wanted to send out ANBU and Jounin to find him and discover what he was doing but instead, I need them here. Protecting our village, protecting our gates, and who am I protecting these things from? You! You who dare say that you are of Godric as your murder your fellow country men that Godric loved and protected in turn. You fools. You act without thinking, so enraged that one could claim the title Godric once bore that you cannot even see that the man who did so only wanted to help you find him again. You didn't even bother to check." Fingers crossed in his mind Hiroji waited for the crowds response and the response of the chuunin before him. If only one good thing came out of this it was that Hiorji had managed to make himself appear weaker than he actually was so his chances of defeating the chuunin before him were greater. He really hoped he could convince the men in the crowd to turn however. That'd be great.

“Crank the Power! They’re breaking the bond!”

Appearing at the top of the stairwell, Jimarai would encounter 5 men, all wearing Godric's purple headbands, gathered about a large device. The source of the beeping. Potentially the source of this disruption.

The men took to turning dials and making inputs into the device, unaware of a new presence within the attic space. Jimarai had expected maybe 1 or 2 opponents, not 5 ...

Slowly and quietly reaching behind him, Jim would withdraw a Kunai and an Explosive tag, attaching the two together trying to remain undetected with slow and silent movements at the back of the room. Then he would quickly throw the kunai at the table/crate the device rested on, and readied the seal to explode all of the tags at once.

"Step away from the device now!" Jimarai would bellow at them, now drawing their attention to his presence.

"I've rigged the entire downstairs of this building with explosives while you goons were up here, and now there is an explosive device next to your little machine there. Turn it off, or I blow us all up! If you think I'm bluffing, know I am Jimarai Kotetsu, Godaime Tsuchikage of Iwagakure, and I would die for this village!"

A look of hardened determination crossed Jimarai's face. He would die for the village. Obviously avoid it if he could, but if it came to it, he would die with pride and honor to protect his people.

He needed a next step to his plan now. He looked to back of the building opposite him for a window from the attic overlooking the street, an escape plan of some kind. At the very least, he stood between these men and the stairs.

Hiroji bluffs the crowd, an expertly crafted speech, and an expertly crafted lie. The men of the crowd are stopped dead in their tracks now, wondering exactly what they should do, and their eyes begin to uncloud a bit more, their minds becoming a bit more liberated; some even break the hold entirely. A full fourth of the crowd now stare and shake their heads, nearly in unison, before backing away a bit horrified and confused. “Wha…what the heck?” “Where am I?” “How did I get here?” “Iwakage-sama?!” “Wasn’t I in my bed before?!” These are some of the things the confused people mutter, dropping makeshift weapons to the floor, looking at the blood on their hands with fear and disgust. The Chuunin is stunned as well, contemplating the words that were spoken, not acting immediately as he looks at Hiroji, the Iwakage.

“Is that so, Iwakage? Did you try to send out the AnBu?” He is skeptical, this Chuunin, but he believes for now and it holds him back, waiting to see what the Iwakage would say. He presses the earpiece, contacting those in the building with the Mark of Godric. “Hold everyone…don’t crank the power just yet. Standby.” Hiroji had his audience, some on the fence and dazed, few freed, and the Chuunin who seemed to be controlling it all. They all awaited to hear what the Iwakage had to say.

[Jimarai]

The men all turned from their tasks when Jimarai spoke, hands on nobs, dials, fingers near buttons. All that was forgot for the moment as they listened to his words, how he rigged the building to explode, and how there was an explosive on the device. They looked and could see it plain as day, dangling from the crate, placed by Kunai. “Okay…okay, hold on just a second, Former Iwakage-sama. We were just following –“ The radio blazed to life once again, this time calling for them to standby. “Hold everyone…don’t crank the power just yet. Standby.” The men looked at each other, then the tag, and they put their hands up in surrender. It would seem that these people were not under the control of the device, but were merely working in tandem with the Chuunin, and they were only normal citizens.

It would seem that the device was now under Jimarai’s possession, as well as these people, who now had moved away from the device and to a corner of the storage room off to Jimarai’s left.

The Tsuchikage Stands

The ability to give a moving speech was a rare gift you had to be born with. To ability to do so whilst lying through your teeth with every word, that was one even rarer. Born with this silver tongue Hiroji had used it to his advantage on many occasions however this was the first his use was of such importance. If he were to slip now, then everything would fall apart. "Truthfully, I have not attempted to do so" That's the honest part down, selling the sense of believability. Hopefully anyway. "But I will. It's just that with all that's happened, I've been forced to send the majority of my forces to security matters as I cannot allow the home Godric returns to be destroyed. If you were to help me..." The Tsuchikage raised his hand beckoning for the chuunin to take it. "If you were to help me then we could search for him together. Take my hand. Take my hand in friendship, comrade. For if we were to work together we could do so much more than if we were on our own. I heard that Godric was last sighted in the Leaf Village, that would be a good place to start would it not?"

Whether he truly had been sighted in the Leaf village was anyone's guess. Hiroji simply wanted to offer up a place to begin the search and the Leaf Village, being an ally to the Land of Earth before the Uchiha's assent to Tsuchikage, seemed as good a place as any to suggest. Godric probably had gone there at least once before. Probably.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

Putting their hands up in surrender, Jim would unclench his muscles. He was anxious about having to do it, taking his own life, let alone the lives of 5 of his people. They moved to the back of the room, hands still up.

But now what? Jimarai didn't have the first idea about how to disable the device. For all he knew destroying the thing while it was still on could have a permanent effect. Breaking the seal, Jim would point at one of the men. "You there. You were following orders? Good, so you know how. Now follow mine, or you know the consequences. Come over here and turn this thing off completely. I don't care what else is happening out there, you follow my orders now, and after it's done, you all walk out of here free men. I have quite a bad memory so I may not even remember your faces ..." Jimarai would say to them, hoping to incentivise their little transaction with freedom and no repercussions. "Or if you feel you can't do it, one of your friends there"

Placing his hands together to form the seal, all he needed to do was actually mold his chakra and they would all be blasted away.

The Chuunin stared at the current Kage, taking in those words, while the crowd surrounded them with mixed expressions of confusion, realization, wonder…everything in between. Nobody seemed to be willing to make a move, even when Hiroji held out his hand, still nothing happened for the moment. For once, everything within the shopping district was silent, even the earlier screams of those injured by the fire or the mob, they seemed to have either fallen unconscious or died. A wind blew through the district, a bit warm for this season, and kicked up a puff of dust between Hiroji and the chuunin.

Meanwhile, the one who was pointed at, a man with flat black hair and glasses, stepped forward toward the machine. Quickly, so that he didn’t die, he would press several buttons. The bulbs glowing green would begin to dim, fading from existence as if they had never been, before finally winking out all together. Next he turned a knob all the way to the left, until it clicked into place dully, signifying that it was off. Last was a switch near the back, shutting down the machine completely, revealing that there had been a low hum all this time, now that there was complete silence with it gone.

Outside the people would snap out of their daze, the mind control gone from them, and they blinked in sleepy confusion. The chuunin himself dropped to his knees, knowing that he lost, and sure that he would suffer some form of wrath. “I…have made a mistake,” he would say into his hands, looking down at the ground. People began to comfort loved once, shocked at the scene around them, but knowing they had been the cause. Removing the headbands, they dropped them to the floor a few having a small antennae poking out from the purple bit of the headband; the symbol of Godric. Mind control devices. The authorities would move in finally, now that everything had died down, and would return the shopping district to order.

"We all make mistakes. Being able to learn from them, that's what makes us human." Hiroji deserved a medal or something. This was an award winning performance, he managed to talk this crowd down by promising them lies. He had no intention of doing anything he said he would do, he was going to do the exact opposite. He'd kill this chuunin soon enough, he'd kill all the Godric supporters. "Come now, let's clean up this mess! We have to help our fellow country men!" Hiroji pulled the chuunin from the ground by his shoulder and urged him to go and help those that had been injured. The chuunin felt a sense of forgiveness for his actions. He resolved himself to helping out the citizens of the Land of Earth from this point in the name of Godric rather than killing them in his name. The mental link between the group and himself also began to think this way and their attitude toward Hiroji began to sway for the better. Hiroji himself was about to lend assistance to the cause but he found something on the ground, an antena of some kind.

What was this? Is this something that was being used to control the citizens? It would actually make more sense than what Hiroji actually believed transpired. Good words would not be able to break someone out of genjutsu but if this were some sort of mind control device, perhaps then... Even now Hiroji's eyes showed him that the chuunin was still under the effects of the genjutsu. He wasn't broken from it just yet, and Hiroji didn't want to risk trying to save him from it. There were some unanswered questions here but as the ANBU descended upon the area he was forced to put these thoughts on the back burner for now and instead help out his injured people. Come to think of it, what happened to the two men who had appeared to assist him?

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

His prisoner complying with his wishes, Jimarai would drop his hands to his sides and break the seal. "The rest of you, leave. If I see you again, pray you are not breaking the law, because I will not be so kind a second time ..." Jimarai would tell the other four.

After the one deactivating the machine finished, Jimarai would wordlessly step aside and let him depart as well, sure he heard the message to his comrades.

Taking the kunai with the tag, Jim would then lift the machine with some effort, and make his way downstairs where he would rest it on the counter as he retrieved his unexploded tags, and then take the device out of the back of the building. He didn't need people seeing his face, he liked to be the silent hero in the dark - doing what needed to be done for the sake of the village - he didn't need any glory.

Despite not needing the glory, he felt very proud of himself and somewhat relieved that he could end the bloodshed without any on his part. He potentially saved a beaten and broken pregnant woman and an innocent bystander, and confronted 5 men without violence. Not that Jimarai didn't like violence - but it was more of a tool, a means to an end, and sometimes it's just the wrong tool for the job entirely.

His destination was the Kage's office with this device in tow. He needed to figure out what had just happened, and let the ANBU and technical types figure out exactly how this thing worked, so that in the future such an effort could be blocked.

With the ANBU descending upon the streets and his allies no longer in sight Hiroji left the area and began on his way to the tower once again where he was sure his sister would be awaiting him.
