Walking down a small pathway, Yamato tightened his black cloak around him. It was around this time of year that is started getting chilly. It was the type of cold that even though you had some warm clothes on, it would somehow find its way into your bones, making your body colder than it needed to be. Still, Yamato didn't mind. He knew there were lots of places where it was way colder, so in a way he had it easy. At least that was what he told himself as he tried to ignore the coldness perpetuating his body. It was pretty early in the morning after all. So he would only have to wait a little bit in order for it to get warmer.

As he walked on the path, Yamato noticed cliffs with white peaks and barely frozen lakes. Although he thought it would be neat to walk on a frozen lake, from the looks of it, it wasn't cold enough for the lake to be fully frozen over. If he tried walking on it, the only thing he would accomplish was getting hypothermia. That was not something he would like to happen.

After a few more minutes of walking, Yamato arrived in a small clearing by a nearby lake. This was the destination him and Pax had decided on meeting. It had been a while since they talked, and Yamato wanted to see how things were going with him. He was his first friend after all. The only reason they weren't in the village was because he wanted a change of scenery. Sure the village of Taki was nice, but sometimes you wanted some peace and quiet.

Noticing a large rock a few feet away, Yamato dusted the ice off and sat down. It shouldn't be too long until Pax arrived. He wondered how Pax felt about the cold. He would rather be hot than cold, but that might be because he was born in the warm earth country. Still, it would be interesting to see how Pax felt about the weather.

Flying down to the meeting spot the two Taki Ninja had agreed on previously, Pax spotted Yama. He may not have been the first person he had ever met from Takigakure, but aside from a former kage, Yama was the only one who cared for Pax as a human, not a power tool. The frigid air had done wonders for his skin beneath his raven black feathers and also kept his hair spiked just the way he had liked. It was extremely easy to keep his hair style seeing as that he was constantly gliding or flying everywhere he went. Today was a special occasion for whatever reason, but to Pax, it was a good day because he had a nice bottle of whiskey to keep warm with. As he landed his wings were subconsciously retracted into his body since he knew he was staying for a while. "Long time no see Yama. What have you been up to?" He said to his friend with a smile. Taking a swig of his knock off whiskey he shivered from the putrid taste of alcohol on a dry tongue. "Want any? It's pretty cold out for Takigakure." He said offering the bottle over to Yama, not really knowing his age, or if there was even a legal drinking age.

It seemed Pax had flown to the designated location rather than walking. It was times like these that Yamato wondered what it would be like to have wings. He had flown on one of his own clay creatures before, but he hadn't truly flown. Maybe one day he would be able to find out how true flying felt. Who knew?

As he thought to himself, Pax walked over to him and offered him some alcohol. Politely declining, Yamato was about to continue his conversation when suddenly a man ran up to him. Getting into a defense stance, he eyed the man warily. What did he want? His question was answered as he got three tomes shoved in his arms. Before he could question the man, the mysterious stranger ran off, never to be seen again.

Staring curiously at the books in his hands, Yamato shrugged. If someone wanted to give him free stuff, who was he to say no. Placing the books in his coat, he turned towards Pax.

Pax watched as a mad man offered him some books. What the hell had been happening tonight? First an odd encounter where Yama got free books, and now a dead body pointing towards some sort of plant. If Yama had gotten something free, Pax just had too would be his thought process as he claimed his "prize" and stuffed it in his battle vest pocket. Taking a long swig of his whiskey he shook off the oddities that just occurred and turned to Yama. "Yeah, did you see the corpse here? What the hell is happening tonight?" Pax replied as he took another drink, hoping inebriation would make more sense. It wouldn't take too much longer for him to be intoxicated enough to just go with the bizarre events unfolding on this simple meet up.

It seemed that while he had a random stranger give him scrolls, Pax met a corpse instead. Why were all these strange things happening? Looking around, Yamato wondered if it was because it was the location he was in. Maybe? He didn't know. He just picked this location because it looked nice. There was no other reason.

As he was thinking, a random smithy appeared in front of him. From the looks of it, it was pretty good quality. Even though he couldn't smith, Yamato decided that he would keep the smithy that randomly appeared in front of him. He could also learn how to smith and put this new gift to use. Turning towards Pax, Yamato noticed he was talking to somebody. When Pax was finished talking, he was going to ask who he just met. Maybe this man gave him something like the last passerby did with him. He wouldn't be surprised.

After speaking with the man who offered to perform a ritual on Pax, he emerged with a brand new set of sparkling fangs. This was a small step towards becoming an absolute abomination that he was glad he had embarked on. He walked up to Yama who had seemed to have a building he owned now? "This is crazy Yama, what did we do to get all this stuff?" Pax asked with a slight lisp since he was getting used to his new fangs that he had implanted into his skull. He had always dreamed of becoming a beast of insane proportions and odd and extremities so this was like an early christmas present from some stranger who was now gone. Had the alcohol been spiked with hallucinogens or was this reality was a constant thought in Pax's head as he took another drink from his slowly depleting bottle.

Description: When learning this technique, the Artisan gains the ability to use the resort to irony and humor through their craft in order to state their opinion about things without the same fear of consequence as another person might suffer. This is an enhancement to the Tame the Savage Breast ability. It allows the item to have an open message (similar to a Hidden Meaning) but visible to all that interact with the item in its normal format and comprehensible if they make Chakra Lore check against the crafter's relevant Skill. This Open Message has the same word length limitations as the Hidden Meaning ability. This message can be anything, and will be obvious to anyone that interacts with the item. As Yamato talked to Pax, he felt something slam into his head and land in his hands. With a dazed look upon his face, he watched as the book miraculously opened to the title page. As Yamato looked at the book, he began to feel a wicked aura. But although it felt evil, it didn't feel that strong. Some people might recommend he throw the book away and be done with it, but that was not what he was about to do. All the other things he had received had been pretty good, so why not this? With an inquisitive look upon his face, Yamato began flipping the pages of the sinister book.

The first ritual he found was hypersensitivity. Just like the name said, it allowed the user to become more sensitive to their surroundings. The second ritual he saw enabled him to smell better while the third one made it so his eyes wouldn't be able to adjust to bright light. Based on what he could tell, some of these rituals were good, while others were bad. Still, maybe someone could find a use for the bad rituals. What was another man's trash was another man's treasure.

Placing the book in his coat next to his other tomes, Yamato glanced at Pax. It seemed that he had received a small instrument of some kind. It didn't look very useful, but maybe his friend would find some use for it. He doubted it judging from the way Pax was downing his alcohol. Maybe he was just luckier than Pax since so far he was able to use everything he received. He shouldn't get too cocky though since what he received could change in the blink of an eye. Who knew, maybe the next thing he received would be absolutely useless.

"How do you feel about all of this Pax? I mean I'm glad random stuff is appearing but why do you think that is? Where does it even come from? A different dimension?"

The things that were happening were odd and although Yamato would like to just take the gifts he received and ignored this strange occurrence, he couldn't. Sure he might be able to shoot a fireball out of his mouth by performing handseals, but this was just too odd. He could make that fireball using chakra, but he didn't think chakra was making random items appear. Maybe it was. He didn't know seeing as how he was no chakra sensor. Maybe Pax would be able to enlighten him on what was going on.

Pax looked down into his palm to notice a tiny joke drum. Luckily for him, with all his bad puns he could easily anger people with such a stupid toy. He turned back to Yama who was getting books and such and just smiled because of the toy. An odd smile since he wasn't used to the fangs inside his mouth yet, but none the less a smile. "It's all good here Yama, Free stuff is free stuff and this booze makes it better." Pax said starting to feel a light buzz coming on, numbing his lips just a little bit. The inebriated ninja sat down for a minute to catch his breath, which was odd since he had barely done anything but drink and fly. While he was sitting he started to play with the pocket size drum. "Dudddddeee this thing is great." Pax would say as he stared at it spacing out and laughing like an idiot. Talk of interdimensional portals made him laugh harder too. "Like aliens? AHAHHA"

Do whatever you want with the place Nobody works here anymore!" Didn’t you just pass a moving company? They can relocate this for you. What you do with the prisoners is your problem.

Description: Picture The Remote Claw is an object that allows the user to target two objects and pull them together allowing the user to knock opponents together, launch objects at enemies or string up enemies or objects. This is a large device operated by a pressure system. It is approximately 2 feet in length having a grip, various buttons located on said grip, and a handle with a triggering mechanism. The pressure system connects to the nozzle of the item where the user may attach the "Claw Ammunition" to it. The device is only able to release 1 "Claw Ammunition" each time and must be reloaded before reusing. The buttons located at the grip of the device is to allow the user to calculate the "Claw Ammunition's" Primary Target, and the secondary target once the claw clamps down on the primary target. The user is only able to fire this device a total of 3 times for every 3 minutes as the Pressure system needs to "recharge" before firing again. The device will automatically begin to recharge the pressure system as it will take 1 minute per shot. The user may target and calculate 2 objects that are at a max of 90 meters away.

It seemed he had good luck, or at least he thought he did. He didn't know if getting a prison and a torture chamber could be considered lucky or not. Still, he would take what he could get. It also seemed that Pax had a little too much to drink. Yamato doubted if he really understood what was going on. He had been taking quite a few swigs from that bottle of his and he wondered just how much alcohol was in there.

"Like aliens? AHAHAHA!"

Smacking his hand against his head, Yamato glared at Pax. Did the man see any aliens around? If he did, he needed to stop drinking whatever it was he was drinking. Yamato loved Pax like a brother, but sometimes he was exasperating. Maybe that was just what alcohol did to people. But even though Pax was mostly talking nonsense, maybe he did have a point. Something had to be given them these things.

Pax realized he was at least half in the bag so far and he had to stop drinking or he'd regret it later. Standing back up he looked around until he noticed the remote claw and stuffed it into his bag. Capping his bottle for later, he put that away too as he walked back to where he was. Feeling a lot better now Pax felt the cold snap him in and out of his inebriated state. While he was still salient and sane he would try to speak to Yama. "How long do you think we're gunna keep finding this cool stuff. Is it all this spot? Is it because we did something we should or shouldn't have?" Pax said as he un-capped his bottle and took another swig of whiskey and felt warmer by the minute. Without the booze he would have felt cold on such a windy night. After a while Pax's stomach could audibly be heard begging for food to saturate the alcohol content.

Description: Picture A wearable container can hold up to 7 slots. The waist pack can be worn in 1 of 4 ways: It can be attached to the bottom of a Patrol Pack by passing the stiffened webbing straps with the female side release buckles through the 4 webbing keepers on the bottom of the patrol pack. It can be attached directly to a tactical Vest taking up 3 Pouch Slots. by utilizing the stiffened webbing tabs on back woven in the corresponding slots on the back of the Tactical Vest. It can be carried in the "stand alone" configuration by utilizing the attached 2 inch wide waist belt. This method allows the user to rotate the waist pouch around in front to easily access the contents of the pack without removing a Patrol Pack or a Tactical Vest. When not used in this mode, the attached waist belt is stowed into the tunnel on back of the waist pack. Description: A grenade is a unique alchemical weapon that combines multiple splash weapons/explosives to increase its damage slightly while increasing its range significantly. Every grenade has a range of 15-meters-radius burst no matter the splash weapon/explosive combination. A grenade takes up 3 splash weapon/explosive to create. This can be used in any kind of combination of 3. For example, a user may combine 3 Explosion (Fire) to create an Explosion (Fire) Grenade, or an 1 Shriek Bomb and 2 Stormstone to create a Shriek Stormstone Grenade. Each splash weapon/explosive does 3/4 Damage of the total. Damage is sacrificed due to the combination of splash weapon/explosives while distance is significantly increased. Any splash weapon/explosive that does status damage (blindness, deafness, etc) does not increase, however the Save is increased by 1 per splash weapon/explosive used. For example: 1 Stormstone has an 18 Fortitude. If 3 are used to create a Grenade it will have a 21 Fortitude.

Description: Mix the black powder and the phosphorous in a digestion method. This takes 1 hour to create. This will make 1 standard-shot of "Stormstone". When the stormstone strikes a hard surface (or is struck hard), it creates a deafening bang that is treated as a sonic attack. Each creature within 8-meter-radius spread must make an 18 Fortitude save or be deafened for 1 hour. Each creature will also take 12 Armour Points of Sonic Damage in addition to deafening the creature. The Fortitude Save halves the damage and reduces deafness to 1 round rather than negating it. In addition to the Sonic Damage creatures will also take 12 Armour Points of electricity damage regardless of the save and be staggered for 1 round in addition to the other effects.

Description: Mix the myrrh, the urea, and the tar in a congelation method. This takes 10 minutes to make. This will make 1 standard-shot of "Tanglefoot Bag". A tanglefoot bag is a small sack filled with tar, resin, and other sticky substances. When you throw a tanglefoot bag at a creature, the bag comes apart and goo bursts out, entangling the target and then becoming tough and resilient upon exposure to air. If they are hit completely they will be glued to the floor, unable to move. Even if they are not hit completely they will lose half of their movements to what was hit. These pouches release resin in a 2-meter diameter. A flying creature is not stuck to the floor, but if they are hit along the wing they will fall to the ground unable to fly. A tanglefoot bag does not function underwater, but it does make a platform 2-meter diameter A creature glued to the floor can be set free if 15 Armour Points of damage is done to the goo with a slashing weapon. Once free, the creature can move at half their movements, or full movements if the attachment was partial. The goo becomes brittle and fragile after 2d4 minutes, cracking apart and losing its effectiveness.

Description: Mix the saltpeter, the distilled water, the powdered pearl, and anyseed using a congelation method. It takes approximately 1 hour to create one. This will make 1 standard-shot of "Northern Wind". The explosive may be programmed with a timer to explode up to 6 seconds. A more contained explosive with a range of 2-meter diameter. The saltpeter creates the intensity in which the chakra properties in the anyseed reacts to the powdered pearl and distilled water allowing for a burst of cold energy capable of freezing its area. Those hit by the explosive (or within the 2-meter diameter) will take 36 Armour Points of Cold Damage and will be frozen in place for 10 rounds or until destroyed. Frozen targets may be set free by destroying the ice from external force equal to 20 Armour Points of Damage. Frozen targets take an additional 25% Armour Points of Damage if struck while frozen.

The explosive stuns and blinds all creatures within 8-meter-radius burst range, rendering them defenseless for a brief time. Those stunned will be stunned for 1d6+2 rounds. (Fortitude 18 half).

As Yamato looked disapprovingly at Pax, a man suddenly sneak up to him and began whispering in his ear. Shivers ran down his spine as he listened to what the man said. Before he could question the man on where he came from, he disappeared. Shaking his head, Yamato looked at the bag that was left beside him. Inside the pack were grenade templates and a northern wind grenade. Not as bad haul if he said so himself.

As Pax talked to Yamato, he soon realized Pax also had no idea what was happening. He probably should've expected that, but oh well. He would learn from his mistakes.

"I don't know, maybe forever? We could always move to see if we get new stuff in different spots, but I don't really want to take that risk. I also don't remember doing anything particularly super good or super bad. So that only leaves you. Did you help a goddess or piss off a demon somehow?"

Both of these ideas could be considered far fetched, but so could random gifts appearing out of nowhere. Thinking logically wouldn't bring them any answers, so they would have to think outside the box for this one. If they didn't, they would never find the answers they seeked.

These words echoed in Pax's head for a minute while he was drunk. Normally his brain would have connected the dots in an instant but inebriation had caused it to be a little slower. He had also been reading a very interesting children's book that he slipped in his pack. "I became a witch, and met the daughter of a deity. Joined their ranks and I was actually looking for some recipes for her. She's going to make me some beautiful blades." Pax said as he closed the cap on his bottle for now. He wanted to stay a little sober to at the very least, make sure he claimed his newly found goodies. "As for demon's.... theres my brother." Pax said as his memory faded off to the monstrous form that his brother took just for the gain of power.

Letting out another long sigh, Yamato looked at Pax in wonder. Did he even know what he was saying anymore? At first he assumed his friend was joking, but when he didn't smile, he understood. Pax actually thought he was a witch. He was pretty sure only females could be witches, so there were some problems with what Pax was saying. Taking a moment to look at him, Yamato searched for any clues that would show that Pax was actually a female.

After about a minute of searching, Yamato gave up. According to his eyes, Pax was a man through and through. He was a muscular and he had an adam's apples. Clear signs that Pax was male. Maybe he identified as a woman. Shaking his head, he tossed that line of thought away. He did not want to go down that road. He didn't think he could handle it. As he paced back and forth, Yamato noticed a small bag mysteriously appear in front of him. When he opened it, he realized that he had received several knives. Placing them in his coat, he took another moment to stare at Pax. When he had first met Pax, he never would have expected he was an alcoholic. Still, Pax was his friend, alcoholic and all.

Pax sighed audibly as Yama looked up and down his body. This had seemed to happen a lot more now that he had embraced Loki's teachings. "Stop checking me out Yama, Witches can be male or female. From what I understand on the topic, even you are technically a witch. Or could technically be a witch." Pax said as he grabbed the silver longsword off the grey haired man's corpse. The dead man had resembled a wolf and had odd eyes and many scars. If people like him were dying and dropping like flies he should be very concerned with his own health. Putting the bottle of alcohol away for now Pax was now uneasy with the situation. Maybe it was just that man's fate, or maybe it was what happened to those who get too greedy around here.
