Tsuyosa Ryuu: Futae no Kiwami (Mastery of Two Layers) [Retraining]
Rank: "B"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A dual strike technique that allows the user to bypass hardness while delivering a powerful strike.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The Futae no Kiwami is a technique that focuses on allowing the full use of one's strength and power to be fully utilized at its maximum output. The Futae no Kiwami's principle aspects come from understanding that all matter bears a level of resistance, and that a single blow's impact is wasted upon meeting this resistance. From this, two blows are to be acted to fully transfer this impact. With the fist, the first blow, using the proximal interphalangeal joints of the hand, meets to absorb the object's initial resistance. The first hit allows the user to bypass +10 Hardness. Then, with folding the hand immediately to switch over to the proximal phalanx knuckles, delivers the final strike to the weakened object; in addition, the two hits are to be delivered at nearly the same time, with a few milliseconds interval. The 2nd strike deals 16 Armour Points of Damage per Class Level. The result is the complete destruction of the object (Can destroy overview Objects if it bypasses the Hardness), which has no more resistance to sustain itself and collapses into dust. Technique does double damage against inanimate objects while creating a crater 1/2 a meter per 16 Armour Points of Damage. User may relearn this technique multiple times. Each time learned allows the user to bypass an additional +2 Hardness while dealing +8 Armour Points of Damage per Class Level. May be performed once per movement.
Limit: Must Learn from a Master of Burēdono Kenseijin
“Not bad.” Zuruel stayed out of the way as Celes brandished her Chakra scalpel. He wondered how great of a swordsman he could become if he managed to get his hands on a katana that sharp. The thought was then pushed back as her words brought him back into reality. “The wings?” Zuruel glanced at all the cupid Celes had just dewinged with her Chakra scalpel. After studying her work for several moments, he realised that she was indeed onto something.
“I’ll try.” He snickered as he pulled back his fist. As one of the cupids approached, he immediately launched his fist forwards with the joints of his fingers primed and ready to stab into the cupid. As per Celes’s suggestion, his target was the wings on its back. More specifically, just the one on the left. As the initial strike connected, the wing immediately stopped flapping as cracks appeared and split through the surface of the skin all around the area of impact.
Zuruel, however, wasn’t quite done yet. After the initial strike served to completely weaken the wing, he followed through by tucking in his fingers and launching his knuckles at the clay wing. This second strike followed up the first at a speed so blinding that the two attacks seemed to blur together into one. The only difference was the fact that Zuruel only allowed his body to fully relax and exhale the moment his second strike connected.
“It worked?” Zuruel studied the opponent carefully as his knuckles destroyed the cupid’s left wing by shattering the cracked clay into hundreds of tiny pieces. As this happened, the cupid’s remaining wing struggled to keep it upright and instead, caused it to fall to the ground with a heavy thud. Unfortunately, while Zuruel let his guard down, the cupid began to crawl forwards with the intention of biting at the Kedoin’s ankles. It was clear to him that slowing the creatures down wasn’t going to be enough. They had to be fully stopped.
