Landing on the ground the dirt kicked up from my feet, staring at the ground where I stayed not too long ago signs of our presence still remained. "What ever happened to the Kazekage?" I thought, still unsure as to what even happened back in the village.
Leaning against a tree I closed my eyes for a brief moment then deactivated Byakugan.
Landing behind Seiryoku, kicking dirt from the impact of the land as well. They had reached the camp Seiryoku seemed to have. It wasn't much. "Looks like he lit a fire here..." He thought while looking down at the burnt ashes on the ground. They had successfully reached Thunder country, feeling somewhat relieved, Sazu sat down to take a break.
Folding his arms around his legs, he looked up at Seiryoku. "So what business do you have in Thunder country that makes you have a camp here?" He began interrogating him. The windmill shuriken strapped on his back had tired him from all the jumping. He slowly took it off his back; grabbing it by the handle, and laid it on the ground next to him.
"So what business do you have in Thunder country that makes you have a camp here?"
"Well, a while back I was out here to help out the Kazekage..But plans changed and I returned to Konoha..I'ts too bad I wanted to help" I said to him.
As I stopped talking I reached up to rub my forehead, "My headband..I-I shouldn't have thrown it away" I began thinking, regreting what I had done.
Such actions were unlike me, at the time I was full of anger, the trip cooled me down though I guess. Right now I couldn't stand to be near Konoha, the possibilities of my father being dead and my home destroyed was enough to keep me away. "It wasn't like I could help anyways..And the Hokage was nowhere to be seen, innocent villagers left to fend for themselves..How embarassing to the village, to just be wiped out like that.." I continued in deep thought.
Clearing my head of thoughts I was beginning to get emotional and frustrated, I need to work it off, "I-I need to train or something" I said standing up from the ground.
And as Seiryoku left, something would happen swiftly. Due to the fact the other had yet to move, and due to the fact he had removed his windmill shuriken, the boy whom was watching them smirked. From a tree a little distance above Sazu dropped swiftly Arata, the red head attempting to drop upon the missing nins neck, aiming to lock his legs under Sazu's armpits, kunai in hand. From here on, Cloud would never be ravaged by the likes of him. Due to the fact no attention was brought upon the trees, nor that there was no shadows in the high noon, it was really chancy that he would be spotted before his drop-- as a simple drop downwards takes a mere second, as gravity pulls someone down swifter than reaction.
Sazu had sat on the dirt ground, his arms wrapped around his legs while he stared at the ground. The sun was high in the air, but not completely above them. It was noon. Giving a slight nod while he continued to stare at the ground, he replied to Seiryoku in a cold voice.
"I'll follow you in a moment."
As Seiryoku left towards his training grounds in Thunder country, not too far away from the camp, Sazu stayed there. Watching the ashes of what used to be a fire in front of him. His wakizashi blade remained strapped behind his waist, almost dangling while he sat. Suddenly, while he stared at the shadow less ground, he witnessed a shadow which seemed to be jumping down at his position. He knew that it wasn't safe in Thunder country and was expecting attacks from random shinobi. Although he was slightly off guard the way he was sitting, the shadow alerted him of an incoming attack.
Quickly looking up, Sazu spotted someone pouncing down at him with a kunai in hand. This was a surprise attack, if it weren't for the attacker's shadow, Sazu wouldn't have been able to react the way he did. The attacker was falling quickly, there was not much he could do, he had to make a decision in a split second. He quickly placed his arms above his head so the attacker would land on them. This would block the attack, allowing him to spring the attacker upwards. Quickly rolling to the side to stand up, he looked at the direction of the attacker, a boy.
Placing his right hand behind his back to grab the handle of his wakizashi, he glared at the figure. Sazu knew Seiryoku was nearby training, perhaps he was already making his way towards Sazu. He slightly crouched to get in a defense position while not taking his eyes of the target.
"Who are you?"
[EDITED: A block is more realistic in this situation than a dodge. ]
nor that there was no shadows in the high noon, it was really chancy that he would be spotted before his drop-- as a simple drop downwards takes a mere second, as gravity pulls someone down swifter than reaction.
I want a real reason for evasion. Even if you saw the shadow, try jumping from a tree, which is merely meters drop, and see how fast you land. You can't dodge.
I made my way to the camp and as I walked in I seen Sazu holding his blade's handle in a defencive stance. Without even thinking my hands reach to my back and I had slid my claws on dropping into a battle ready stance, moving to the side of the opponent I would be ready to help Sazu if need be. Activating Byakugan I observed the other and waited for a reaction.
"Whats going on here?" I questioned still unsure as to why there was conflict in the first place.
The kunai held in the strangers hand showed that he was intending on fighting, Sazu did not have his blade unsheathed so it was obvious the other attacked first. "What do you want? We don't want to fight you" I said in a calm tone, I really wasn't in the mood for a fight right now.
[[Due to Bijuu being gone, and me not having enough time-- Arata thusly never existed. What happened was just a mirage that randomly appeared by some magican.
