Isle of Faith

Gigantic monsters appear and roam upon this island. They are extremely resistant to attacks, both physical and mental, to the point where the strongest shinobi in the world would have trouble defeating the weakest of these titans. However, the enormous monsters are slow and more interested in fighting each other than themselves. They can be healed or otherwise affected by beneficial techniques. When a titan is slain, their body disappears and an orb remains. On this island, the goal is to pick a monster and support it in order to obtain orbs!

Giant creatures of land, sea, and sky roam the Faith landmass. Most of the land creatures are found in the larger northern half, where the land has been thoroughly flattened. The sky creatures are more common in the plentiful mountains of the southern strip. The sea monsters stalk the coasts or swim through the shallower water channel between the northern half and the southern strip.

The portal to the Isle of Faith opens up by the Monstrous Channel—the channel between the vast flatlands of the northern Beastlands and the high mountains of the southern Skystrip. Its exact location is on the north-central beach of the Skystrip. The portal gateway is perched on top a black rock that is rooted deeply in the sands.

In the nearby mountains, there are screeches from flying titans. Out in the vast horizon of the northern half, humongous beasts wander on. In the depths of the Monsterous Channel, the shadows of submerged leviathans drift through.

Loki and Kinzoku

Loki and Kinzoku, both in one pod, fell from the sky and landed on the Isle of Faith. A few seconds after impact, the pod doors opened on their own. The runes that protected Loki and Kinzoku wore off, and so the pod was reduced to being unspectacular.

There were the sounds of the ocean coming from two sides. The pod had landed on a flat beach. There was a wide strip of dirt and grass in the middle of the beach, though the pod had landed in the sands to the east. A bay was to their left, and the sea went on to their right. This was the eastern peninsula of Faith's northern half.

On this peninsula, Loki and Kinzoku saw two titans. Halfway submerged in the bay waters to the west was a living storm—its body was made from black clouds and red lightning. A swarm of fist-sized copper shards flew throughout the storm. The red lighting coursed over the bay and arched across the waters. Six eyeballs of transparent red crystal encircled the top of the storm as a halo.

Further north and standing on the flattened dirt was what was shaped like a massive tarantula. Its legs were as thick as skyscrapers, but were shaped like arms. Eight giant and furry blue fists rested on the dirt. The Totem Tarantula's torso was a humongous head with a smaller head growing out the top. The arm-legs were attached to the smaller face, stretching out the pale purple face's skin. Its larger head's chin had a pointed blade sticking out of it, and that blade dragged against the ground. Both faces were looking downward while the top of the tarantula was covered in a forest of thick blue hair.

[Madame Loki]

The doors of the pod opened, and Loki would walk out of it as she took in the view a bit. The metal of her "Battle Dress" shone in the sun. Underneath the battle dress, hugged tightly to her body, was her Catwalk Stunner, the color of which matched the darker Navy Blue colors present on her Armor. However just like the battle dress her back area would be exposed, and on her lower back, what would look like a tattoo, was actually her Suns Renewal Seal. She wore her hair longer than she usually did, and her dark locks flowed almost to her knees. The battle dress was cut low in the front to show off her cleavage.

Or it would have if not for her golden Witch Watch hanging from her neck. The Watch held, a handful of Harness gem, some common and others of her own design. It held the Gem of Telekensis, Gems of Energy (Cold Moderate), Doolittle Gem, Gem of the Wise, Gem of Insight, and a Tear of Raijin. Lower on her body, around the belly button was another seal, her Soul Guard Seal, this also looked to be nothing more than an tattoo, if anyone would every see it. She adjusted her her glasses with her left hand, as she continued down he stairs. These glasses were not prescription, they were actually specialized goggles that held 8 lens; Anti-Flash Lenses, Zooming Vision(x100 zoom), Canny Descrier, X-Ray Vision, Condition Viewing Vision, Camera Vision x1, Thermal Vision x1,andCompass Lensatic x1.

Her hands where gloved due to the design of the armor, but what was more curious was a large, what looked like a metal bracelet on her left Wrist. This was in fact a wrist strap that contained 4 half pouches. Inside side of 3 of the pouches was a single Witch Tear Grenade, and the 4th pouch was a Disruptor, with both a Mine and Emitter Detonator. Also on this hand, was Kinz in his weapon form. On her opposite wrist, formed into something Akin to a bracelet, was Loki's Leaf Forehead protector, she rarely used the thing at all, but supposed that if she wasn't going to use for something like this, then she'd never use it for anything.

The Byakugō no In Seal on the lower left of her face under her lip, that usually looked to be nothing more than a mole, was covered like the rest of her body, in the shadows of her Wraith Form. Everything present had a purpose, even if it wasn't at all obvious. Her Trigger Boots clacked against the steps as she began to come to the last couple of steps. They held the Gem Of Energy( Fire Moderate); Gem of Energy( Electricity Moderate) attached to the shin area of the knee high boots, that added an extra 6 in to her natural height, having her standing at around 6'2 at the moment.

On the boots heels combined with the Trigger Boots were the Toccatta, which housed Gem of Prescience, and Gems of Energy (Acid Greater) Harness gems, and the Nocturne that house the Gems of Energy (Sonic Greater). As she descended the final step she walked towards the receptionist Table. She walked through the area as if she owned it, and everyone there should be thankful for her presences. If one had a keen eye they may have been able to spot, through all her hair, the other two Crossbows she had holstered on her lower back, underneath her battle dress. These were the other half of The Love is Blue Set. The Prelude .v2, which housed a spirit Amber, and the Minuet .v2, that also housed a Spirit Amber, as well as a Crystal Ice. Each one of her crossbows had a permanent Hiraishin seal on their handles, that looked like a kiss stain with butterfly wings protruding from them. They were also all loaded with a full pistol magazine of Witch Tears Bolts, which consisted of Witch Tear Explosive bolt heads, a balanced shaft, and Spinning Razor Blade Fletchings.

Loki emerged Out of the Pod still coated in her Wraith Form Jutsu. As looked down at Kinz, "Whelp time to get started kid. Try not to piss yourself on my arm. Can you piss while you're like that?" Loki teased Kinz a bit as she looked over at the sea and saw the living storm in the distance. She squinted her eyes as she saw the eyes peering out of them. She looked over to the side to see the moving mountain, this giant stone tarantula. "Hmm... that metal fish should be there then..." Loki would say as she point out towards the sea. She sighed as she adjusted her glasses. As she did so the compass lens would show that she was on the east end of the isle, and base on what she was seeing, this was the northern tip.

She smiled, as that meant the Titan she was looking for was in the opposite direction from this location. She would just need to find the deep grove in the ground left by this charging lightning attack, to track it back to it's general location. "Simple enough... time to get started." Loki would first stare down the Stone tarantula, and then the living storm, before she headed off to find the Spearhead Feline, she wanted to know just how strong these monsters were. She would scan their bodies with her eyes trying to pick about any details she could about them, like their general height, about how think their skin was, and maybe if their was anything that could display some vulnerability in them ((Know Ability Check? Observation? Idk)). After getting what she could if she could get anything, and made a mental note of their location.

If she didn't run into any more titans on her way to find the Spearhead Feline, then she would at least has a good place to start. Loki sighed, as she turned around towards the West, and then took off towards the western side of the island. Her eyes scanning for any unknowns but keeping a keen eye out for the tell tell grove that the Spearhead Feline had left behind with it's charging attack. She would nimbly make her way through the isle's terrain as she headed towards the location of her target.

Isle of Faith: Home of the Titans
Isle of Faith. One of the five formed isles that arose from the sea. This particular island was known and feared for the fact that it was home to some of the most deadly monsters. Monsters so strong that some would dare describe them as invincible. But little did the titans roaming this island know that the most fearsome monster of all had yet to arrive.

Landing in the Isle of Faith would be the first two members of Blitz Squadron. As Loki exited the pod, Kinzoku would still be in the form of a gauntlet. As he covered Loki's forearm and hand, Kinzoku had little to worry about. He had faith in Loki's guidance and would follow her while in this form until he was needed in his other. If he were to change into his other form, Kinzoku would be equipped with his pants that had two slots, one slot holding the Gem of Telekinesis, and the other slot holding his Pack Spider. Kinzoku would also be wearing his type 1 butt bag which held two kunai, six shuriken, four dancing star grenades and hate. Also on Kinzoku's person would be both the Gem of Wise stud (in his left ear) and Skull of Strength Ring (on his right ring finger) Claire gave him and Kokushibyō, his trusted Katana, on his back.

Kinzoku listened as Loki joked about him urinating on himself. Little did Loki know, but Kinzoku was actually itching for action. He did not just want to get carried through the exams. Kinzoku wanted to see a lot of action himself. He wanted to earn the rank of Chūnin, instead of having it handed to him. But either way, Kinzoku would joke back with Loki.

"Hold on... give me a second. I'll try...."

Kinzoku would then pause for a moment, giving Loki enough time to think he was serious. After the long pause Kinzoku would just laugh. Sensing the hostility of the titans around, Kinzoku would change his tone a bit.

"I'm sure you know this already but we have two visible titans in our area. Let's go find our titan so we can come back and turn these two into orbs."

For now Kinzoku would stay on Loki's arm and just pay attention to his surroundings, watching out for anything out of the ordinary. They did not know much about the titans on this island or their abilities so it was best to stay on their toes. While he did this, Kinzoku would also look out for anything that would alert them of the Spearhead Feline's location such as the sound of lightning crackling.

Loki and Kinzoku

After combining their analytical resources, Loki and Kinzoku managed a rough estimate of each titan's size. Totem Tarantula had a height of four hundred and seventeen meters, but including the height of its hair made it over five hundred meters. Its length was more than twice that. If its eight arm-legs were hollowed out, they really could be used as skyscrapers.

Redstorm was over a thousand one hundred meters tall, though its height kept fluctuating as the clouds shifted. Its width was about two hundred meters.

They weren't able to figure out anything about strength, since the titans weren't fighting anything, but Loki could guess that the devastation of one of Redstorm's stray lightning bolts could shatter a head-sized cube of adamantine.

The duo moved along the beach. The two titans weren't inspired to act, so they were practically statues on the battlefield at the moment. Loki and Kinzoku approached the end of Snakethroat Bay, and the land began to curve towards the northern regions of the Beastlands.

In these northern lands, a porcupine with humongous sword blades for spikes roamed forth. The clinks and clangs of its metallic back rang through the air. No other titans were nearby, but a glint of silvery metal was far in the northern horizon by the sea.

Claire and Tetsu

Claire and Tetsu, in their stone pod, smashed into the side of one of the Skystrip's mountains. The pod rolled down the slope and finally came to a halt on the sands of the northern beach. Once still, the pod's door opened on its own. Any chakra cushioning inside the pod wore off as the runes died out.

The portal leading back to Fort Sunderland glowed on a rock nearby. By sheer happenstance, the two found themselves landed right where they'd have showed up with the portal.

Up north was the Monstrous Channel, and an oversized leviathan with an unknown shape and abilities was nestled in the waters. Its back glimmered with the broken sunlight like a bed of crystals.

[Madame Loki]

Loki took note of the titans size, they were quite daunting, but would be handled soon enough. "Moderately powerful..." She judged the power of the living storms lightning strike. First she would need to find her preferred titan. The path would begin to curve upward as she approached the west side of the island. As they came around the corner Loki would see the porcupine abomination in front of her. Her eyes would also spot a glinting in the distance, "Kinz we going to test how strong these things are.... get ready." Wraith Loki would slid to a stop in front of the metal porcupine. Her head would tilt to the said, "They say even the most powerful ninja will find these things nearly impossible to deal with. Let's see if they are exaggerating."

Loki stopped about 50 meters away from the giant creature. It was covered in swords for quills.... this could be quite troublesome. This would mean that those blades provided a tough outer shell. Well she had several ways of dealing with that. First lets get it's attention... see if she can't get it to show off it's power a bit. Loki extended her hand out and a soft blue light would rocketed over the ground and smash into the beast. However, not physical damage would be dealt. 90 AP of damage would be targeting the creatures very soul bypassing all the sword and rough hide the creature may have. Thee beast would fell as if it's own heart was attacking it. After launching the attack Loki eyed the creature seeing how it would react.

Would the Giant beast beast attack, without hesitation, would it size up Loki in return. What would it do? Would it even register her attack, did these things even have souls to begin with? So many questions to be answered, it would be best if she answered them know, and this beast appearing in her path on the way to her target, presented a prime chance to test things out. At the moment she just wan't to see how these creatures reacted to threats, and a general idea of the power they would be dealing with. Loki prepared herself as she wanted in anticipation for it's response. Her shadowy form stood there at the ready.

Searing Soul

Description: Starting at "D" Class a Soulcaster can assault the soul of another. This attack is a 15 meter ray of soft blue light. The user attacks one person by extending their arm out. This attack hits the insides of the user, affects their very life force. At first it doesn't cause much damage however the higher the more the user learns the deadlier the technique becomes. The attack leaves no physical damage, but creates internal damage against the user's life line. People said it feels like having a heart attack while having lost of breathe. Each time learned the user is capable of shooting this technique 5 meters extra. Technique may travel 10 meters per second plus 5 meters per Class Level.

After 50 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.
After 100 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.
After 150 meters user must train an extra 10 TP per tech - TP Does not go down by Class Level. Searing Soul does an extra 5 Armour Points of Damage.

Cap of this technique is 200 meters. Capping increases damage by an extra 5 Armour Points. If the target is undead, the Soulcaster assaults the tethers that bind the body to the material plane, inflicting half the damage instead. This attack has no effect on constructs.

Faking the Dead

Effect: User creates a dead body of themselves and then cloak themselves as undetectable.

Description: Affects anyone who sees the user. The user is able to perform this technique on themselves. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 days per class level. This technique may be disbelieved once interacted with. This Jutsu discharges only when an effect would result in the user being considered dead. It negates that effect and creates a perfect illusion of the user's death that matches the normal results of that effect; it also leaves a greater shadow conjuration of their remains. It takes a successful disbelief, requiring interaction with the remains (save) to realize the user's remains is an illusion. The Jutsu renders the user invisible (as Greater Invisibility) and inaudible, the user is also undetectable by blindsense, blindsight, lifesense, scent and tremorsense, it also grants pass without trace and the ability to Shadow Walk for 1 round per level. This Jutsu can only negate an effect that would result in their death or destruction once a day. Also, effects such as petrification, or trapping the soul, are not negated since they do not result in the dead condition.

Wraithform

Effect: User can make the subject of this Jutsu partially insubstantial, in truth making them only 1/5th real.

Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects 1 willing creature touched and those who interacts the creature. The user is able to perform this technique on the target they touch. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 minutes per Class Level. While in Wraithform creatures that interact with the subject feels they are attacking normally, however they are actually hitting much less than normal when it comes to striking attacks. Being Wraith formed has several effects:

Depending on the Rank the user knows (and the rank they perform) depends on the Reduction in Striking Power.

"D" Rank reduces striking attacks by 1 rank.
"C" Rank reduces striking attacks by 2 ranks.
"B" Rank reduces striking attacks by 3 ranks.
"A" Rank reduces striking attacks by 4 ranks.
"S" Rank reduces striking attacks by 5 ranks.

Non-Chakra attacks suffer percentile chance of missing versus the Wraithformed creature depending on the user's knowledge of this technique.

"A" Rank gives a 40% chance of miss.
"S" Rank gives a 50% chance of miss.

Takes a certain amount of damage on Chakra Techniques depending on the user's knowledge of this technique. Only Pure Chakra techniques affect normally.

There is only 20% chance that Wraithformed creatures leave behind footprints, their scent, or make a sound while moving no matter the rank the user knows.

The creature seems to be floating however they are not. If the creature has the natural ability to fly then the Wraithformed creature is able to fly.
Limit: Must know the Shadow Perception. Must have mastered Shadow Perception.

[Kinzoku]

It seemed they were going to ignore the first two titans which Kinzoku was not opposed to. But as he watching the cloud titan, he began to think. As he was doing so, Kinzoku would spot the Samurai Porcupine. With all the swords sticking out of it's back, Kinzoku thought of an idea!

"Kinz we're going to test how strong these things are.... get ready."

"I got your back Loki. But I also have an idea."

Once Loki would unleash what was probably the smallest portion of her power, Kinzoku watched to see what the Porcupine would do. It was good to gather evidence first, and Loki's particular set of skills did not only affect the physical, therefore her attack would be the most effective as it was already said that the titans were physically strong. But while she attacked, Kinzoku filled her in on his plan.

"Hey Loki! They say the titans are near invincible and the best bet is for them to fight each other, right? Therefore I have an idea. I think I can indirectly use that cloud to defeat this porcupine by redirecting it's lightning... well, at least until we find the titan you prefer. Wanna give it a shot?"

As Kinzoku decided before, he was not just going to carried through these exams. As of right now, he was going to play a more supporting role in Loki's plans but would rise up whenever he saw an opportunity. Hopefully, his tactician mindset and creativity would prove useful and therefore would be acknowledged by his teammate(s).

[Ace Detective Nara]

Tetsu was not a huge fan of their current form of travel as he transformed into the weapon and he and Claire were shot out…literally into a mountain. Now normally that would be quite a problem had the seals of the shell not protected them. When they finally came to a halt, the door to the shell opened up as Tetsu would break his transformation as he was allowed space to escape. Pulling himself from the very cramped pod, Tetsu would find himself on a beach of sorts…right next to the portal for the island that had been conveniently located right next to their landing zone. “Wow isn’t that luck.” Tetsu commented with a bit of annoyance as he took a second to get his bearings. Looking around, Tetsu noted the more mountainous terrain that seemed to be part of the island, which consequently meant they had probably landed on the southern strip of the Isle of Faith. Taking a moment, Tetsu would quickly reach into his pocket and draw out his cigarette packet and one of his lighters.

Flicking the flame to life as he knelt down on the soft sand to take in their surroundings, Tetsu let the gentle smoke roll off the end as he placed the objects back in their spot in his tactical vest. It had been a while since he had smoked a cigarette…he had been trying to quite, but alas it calmed his nerves. “Make it alright?” Tetsu asked his partner as he looked along the, what he could only assume was the channel that divided the northern and southern portion of the islands. Tetsu could sense Loki and Kinzoku’s presences on the island, as Status allowed him to sense their general direction. From what he could tell, they were probably somewhere to the northeast of their location, but that was just a postulated guess. That being said, Loki and Kinzoku seemed alright, at least as far as his connection with them told him as he looked up and down the monstrous channel.

“Claire, it looks like we ended up on the southern portion of the island,” Tetsu commented as he observed the surrounding area, checking to see if anything stood out to him as important (Observation/ Evidence Analysis Check?). “You were looking for flying things right…” Tetsu said before stopping dead in his tracks. Just to their north, Tetsu noticed what looked like some sort of leviathan that seemed to be glistening in the sun…which was kind of interesting to be quite honest. “Uh…Okay…Hold on...You see the large water creature too right?” Tetsu asked his partner as he put his hand over his eyes to shield himself from the sun as he was hoping this was simply an illusion of the water or something, which it wasn’t. They were encountering their first titan, so it would seem.

Description: The Evidence Analysis skill spotlights large-scale inspections, ranging from wide collections of interviews to long information tours. The Evidence Analysis skill is used to "canvass" an area (i.e. interview many people in a short time, seeking information about specific topics or suspicious behavior). It’s also used to tell whether someone has searched an area or body before the user, and to research topics. This skill is common among police, field operatives, amateur and professional researchers, and other inquisitive archetypes. If user has 25 or more Ranks in History, Local (Specific Country) user gains a Synergy Bonus +10 to Evidence Analysis to Profile, and gain Information on people. Claire pulled herself from the pod, rejuvenated. It was a bumpy ride, but it got the job done.

Tetsu's commentary summed up pretty much everything she could think of, so she simply drew Blazefire and rested it on her shoulder meaningfully.

"I'll take anything smart enough to know that we're the best thing that could possibly happen to it. Flying, running, swimming, digging. Though, it would be nice to get a bird's-eye view.

Ah, yeah I see what you're talking about. Wanna go check if it wants to become King of the Sea?" She suggested with a small pat on her Partner's bottom before jogging off in the direction of the Leviathan.

If she was able to get close without it becoming hostile, she would continue to approach until it would be able to see her clearly and obviously, and try to wave to get its attention. She wouldn't bother with speech though. The odds of it speaking or understanding Common were...astronomically small. Instead she would inform it that she was a potential friend in a different way - hand seals, and mental manipulation. Of the good kind. She didn't really have any mind tricks besides positive reinforcement, which was the carrot in her plan. The stick being of course that she was standing on top of the ocean and was a lightning-user.

Completing her technique, she waved again, hoping the creature could associate its pleasant feelings with her. Lacking a means to compel creatures to do her bidding, she would instead have to rely on friendship. Or at least as much of friendship as the Titans could understand.

"Come on big guy. Work with me here."


On the other hand, if at any point the Leviathan were to engage in hostile action, she would just flee. There was no way she was going to fight a Titan with her own strength, especially in its own element where it had the home advantage. They could just climb the mountains instead.

Loki and Kinzoku

Bladespine was struck by the beam of soul, and stopped walking. The creature immediately turned to face the origin of the beam. Its huge nose sat predominately at the center of its face, and its eyes were like round, golden jewels the size of elephants. The tip of its highest blade was well over three hundred meters above. Each blade had a thickness and edge that one would find on a fullblade belonging to a gargantuan-sized giant.

A second of silence passed, and then a barrage of spikes from Bladespine's back fired off. Over three hundred blades, each between a hundred and two hundred meters long, shot skywards before falling back towards the ground. At a glance, three hundred blades was perhaps less than one percent of the number of spikes on Bladespine's back. The ground cracked open as the heavy weaponry rained down with the might of meteors. Each impact, not including the sizable damage of the blades themselves, hit with forty more armour points of sheer piercing damage.

In addition to the destruction on the ground, every impact released a blast of concussive spiritual energy. Anything within ten meters of every individual blade impact was struck by a chakra explosion that hit with the force of an explosive tag.

The rain of blades were centered upon Loki and Kinzoku. All hundred blades landed somewhere within a one hundred meter radius of them. Loki's position was soon within the radius of thirteen separate sword explosions. Places within twenty meters mostly had an overlap of up to ten separate swords. The edge of the raining blades' radius had overlaps of five or less swords.

No blades headed directly for Loki and Kinzoku, though the nearest one landed a couple meters to the side.

Bladespine's head was within the radius of the falling blades, but any blades that landed on it simply sunk harmlessly back into its metallic flesh.

After the three hundred blades landed, Bladespine itself curled up into a ball and rolled forward. It covered a forward distance of two hundred meters in about four seconds. The few tens of thousands of blades on its back made it so that anything caught beneath its two hundred meter wide roll was struck by a hundred separate blade slices.

Every blade that had been fired off reattached to Bladespine when it rolled over them, so afterwards there were no massive blades remaining on the ground.

After that, the titan resumed its walk across the land.

Claire and Tetsu

Hope came.

The waters rose as the body of the unknown leviathan began to break out through the surface. A long, crystal-armored neck bloomed and glimmered in the sunshine. The head of the titan followed.

This long-necked titan's head was literally a crystal orb. Like the rest of the armor on its body, the crystal was an opaque white. Some of the skin revealed underneath the cracks between armor plates was pitch black.

Northoquartz's crystal ball glowed with smooth, moonlike light as its voice filled the air.

"Covenant?"

Loki's head tilted to the side as the beast didn't seemed to be affected too much by her searing soul, "Well you're a big boy aren't you?" Loki smiled as the beast turned to face her. After doing not visible damage to the creature with her Soul technique Loki knew she was have to use stronger methods to kill the monster. She Quickly drew her gun, Prelude .v2, off her holster at her lower back with her Kinz equipped hand, as the beast began to turn. However, she wasn't going on the attack just yet. [1]She disengaged the Magazine and [2]ran her finger along the first bolt in clip marking it with a Hiraishin Seal. [3]As she reengaged the magazine the creature shot it's swords into the air. "Interesting...." Is all Loki said as things began to move in slow motion for her.

Thanks to the Witch Time Potion(Enhanced Agility Potion) she had created and ingested, her fast twitch motions were permanently increased to untold heights. In situations like this the world would seem to slow down nearly to a stop. Her eyes twitched across the sky as she judged the size of the swords that would about to rain down on her. It wasn't hard to estimated their size when compared to the Bladespine itself. And anyone with half a brain would be able to tell that it would hit with tremendous force. It would be best to escape the area.... but Loki wasn't quite satisfied with that.

As the Blades began to fall to the ground [4-5]Loki would Leap up into the air, to avoid standing of the ground that was soon to be decimated. She would leap into the air as Translucent Wings would spring forth. Taking her 30 meters into the air, with her gun still in her left, that had the gauntlet form of Kinz on it, [6]her right hand extended to her side, and a barrier of chakra would form around her, to take the impact that was sure to follow. The blades hit the ground and exploded with 24 AP(force a explosive tag) of Spiritual damage each. Begin that she was in the range of 13 of the swords explosion radius, the Tenkai barrier(460AP of defense) would be struck by a total force of 312AP.

Loki looked on as the the swords that fell on the Bladespines head simply merged back into it's body, "Interesting..." Loki mused as [7-8]she would drop her barrier and she flew over to the sword that was just meters from her. At first she assumed that she could just get the beast to blow all of it's quills, and that would leave it exposed. But it seemed the creature could reinsert it's defenses, and that meant that it would be coming to collect the spines it just released. [9] As she reached the Sword she would touch it, leaving a Hiraishin mark on it. Loki eyes widened as she saw the beast begin to tuck it's head in.

"Well that obliviously a roll... goddamn sonic over here." [10-12]Loki thought to herself as she aim her gun upward into the sky; she fired off a round. The rolling beast was soon upon her but in a blink of yellow light she and Kinz had disappeared. She appeared next to the fired Bolt head some 230 meters into the air. [13]As she appeared next to it she would grab the bolt as the both of them were reaching the apex of their ascent, and began to fall back to the ground. Loki held the bolt in one hand and Looked over at Kinz who was holding her gun in her left hand, [14]as a square Tenkai Barrier would appear beneath her for her to stand on. "Well... it's not that tough. We can take it, but it would be using a fair amount of chakra, and we have an island full of these things. Guess it would be best to recruit some assistance after all."

Loki's gazed remained on the Bladespine as it continued to walk away. At the height that she mark the sword, and the way it rolled over it. The mark should still be out side of the body, and hopefully somewhere near the head. That could be useful later. While the beast moved the tag was in constant motion, so she should be able to feel exactly where the tag was. After all the commotion was over, she would finally have time to answer Kinz not really having the time to do so while they were being attacked. "That sounds like a fine idea, but the creature we're after also uses lightning, and we won't have to bother luring that spiky bitch to the location of the other. Would be easier to get our titan. Plus it moves fast, and is agile, we'll be able to traverse this island quicker with it."

Loki then turned her attention back to were she saw the glint of silver in the northern shore. Perhaps that is were the beast they sought laid. [15]Loki flew off her her Tenkai barrier, not bothering to dispel it yet, as she head north "Keep an eye out for any Sky titans... don't want to be anything dinner today." Loki said to Kinz as she continued her flight.

Witnessing the creature that loomed before her, Claire couldn't help but to feel a sense of awe and wonder. This was a thing that could not exist in the natural world, and yet here she stood in its shadow. It was somehow both terrifying and moving at the same time. She thought she might cry at the sheer beauty and power of the thing.

And it could communicate. There were no discernible orifices, so it could be some kind of psychic projection. Its..head, she supposed, shined with light like the moon. Holding up a hand to inform Tetsu he should hang back somewhat, she responded in kind. She too was a creature of pure Light, and so she unleashed the mental restraint kept on her true form. Light like the sun flowed from inside her, shining across twenty meters before dimming down to mere firelight across another twenty meters.

Covenant?

"One word doesn't guarantee intelligence. Oh man, I hope you can understand all this," Claire muttered to herself. She then spoke louder and clearer, hoping that her voice could carry across the vast gulf between their statures. "A Covenant would be ideal, yes. My name is Claire, Last of the Sakurai. The other one is my Partner, Tetsu Nara. Before we agree to anything, I would like to make the terms clear. It has been observed that your kind have a tendency to clash, and that when one falls a shining orb is left as their remains. We would like to collect those orbs. In return for you not killing us, and allowing us to collect these orbs, we will support you in the conflicts against your rivals. We will make you stronger, faster, braver, and more durable. We will heal your wounds and hinder the enemy to the best of our abilities. Is this an acceptable bargain?"

Scintillant Form

Effect: The user may turn their body into pure light while becoming immune to blinded and dazzled conditions.

Description: The user's body has begun its transformation into a vessel of pure light. The akasin is now immune to the blinded and dazzled conditions. In addition, the user's body radiates a constant Daylight effect (Duration 50 minutes per Class Level. User sheds light as bright as full daylight in a 20-meter radius, and dim light for an additional 20 meters beyond that. Creatures that take penalties in bright light also take them while within the radius of this Chakra Light. Despite its name, this ability is not equivalent of Daylight for the purposes of creatures that are damaged or destroyed by bright light. Daylight brought into an area of Chakra Darkness (or vice versa) is temporarily negated, so that the otherwise prevailing light condition exist in the overlapping areas of effect. Daylight counters or dispels any Darkness Jutsu of equal or lower level.) This effect can be suppressed or resumed as a movement.
Limit: Must be a practitioner of The Eight Celestial Gates. Must be a practitioner of the Akasin Philosophy.

[Kinzoku]

Kinzoku watched as the fight unfolded. After Metal Sonic was hit was Loki's attack, it retaliated with a pin needle attack. But instead of pin needles, it was more like metal skyscrapers. Kinzoku prepared himself to blow the needles closest to them away, but before he could do so, Loki reacted. Moving so quickly, blink and they were in the air.

"!!"

Kinzoku knew Loki was way ahead of him in terms of skill but Kinzoku had no idea that she was capable of movements so quickly. The fact that she effortlessly got them out of that predicament with not even a scratch showed the gap between their strength.

"That sounds like a fine idea, but the creature we're
after also uses lightning, and we won't have to bother
luring that spiky bitch to the location of the other. Would

Loki's voice would snap Kinzoku out of his train of thought.

"Yeah. That would be smarter."

"Keep an eye out for any Sky titans... don't want to be anything's dinner today."

While on her hand, Kinzoku would make sure to keep a look out for any sky titans around them while scanning the area that was ahead of them. Since Loki was doing all the fighting, the least Kinzoku could do was be her support, though he doubted she needed any.

Description: By sacrificing a movement, the user can sense the presence or absence of creatures (or anything else) within a Soul within a cone distance of 20 meters + 2 meters per Resonance Technique. And their relative numbers and directions from the user, but not a pinpoint location. Most solid materials do not block this sense, but at least 2 meters of stone, wood, or earth, or 3 inches of iron or other heavy metal will block it, as will any solid sheet of lead. If the user has at least 25 Skill Points in Soul Wavelength then whenever they use Soul Tuning, the user can gain a general location as if they were using Blindsense, but only for the purpose of detecting things with souls. Also as an additional movement, the user may pinpoint the exact location of the soul as if they had Blindsight. In half a round action the user can gauge the Soul's Power. "D" Class Faint, "C" Class Moderate, "B" Class Strong, "A" and "S" Class Overwhelming. If the user's Class Level is "C" or lower, then they gauge an overwhelming Aura, the user is Dazed for 1 round. If the user has at least 75 points into Soul Wavelength, then during the first movement, the user can also sense the alignment, and within half a round, the user can learn the soul's type and subtype, and also the basic makeup of their Class Level Specialists. This allows the user to make performances with Soul Wavelength at a range greater than touch but within the distance of Soul Tuning.

Loki and Kinzoku

Upon getting a bit closer to the northern shores, Loki saw that the titan she was approaching was the Warfisher—its fleet of ships on the waters was a giveaway even from the massive distance.

However, with the higher altitude, Loki and Kinzoku were able to see more of the island at once. Bladespine was still wandering around down south. Some kind of fireball was also blazing through the region near Bladespine.

To the east, there was Redstorm and Totem Tarantula in roughly the same position, though the tarantula had moved somewhat north. A swimming creature—its row of three fins were circling in the waters—was prowling near the opening of Snakethroat Bay.

Far in the southwest was a moving wall that slithered across the lands like a serpent.

In the northwest, on another part of the northern shore, a sandstorm was swirling in place.

Further in the west, too far to make out clearly, was a dust cloud where two or three titans seemed to be maneuvering about.

Tetsu

Time passed.

Claire

"No," it replied.

Its spherical head glowed brighter for a second, and then dimmed back down to its usual moon-like radiance.

"Only one."

There was a new sensation for Claire—one just outside the reach of her mind. It was as if there were a chain floating at the edge of her awareness. With a thought, she could reach out to that chain and grasp it. The mere presence of the phantom chain was aflame with great power, but more importantly it was alive with promises and responsibilities. To grasp the chain beyond her mind was to make a...

"Covenant."

Northoquartz's Covenant

This covenant shall bond one willing entity with Northoquartz. The covenant shall last until one of the bonded decides to break it, or until one of the bonded dies. Northoquartz, as the beneficiary, grants its benefactor entity with the powers required for a partnership.

• Completely beneficial healing, cleansing, shielding, buffing, and mental effects used on Northoquartz by Benefactor shall automatically bypass saves. Such effects shall also be magnified by Northoquartz's energy to fully affect its titan body.
  
• Benefactor may phase into, phase out of, and move through any crystal created by Northoquartz as easily as swimming.
  
• Benefactor gains the ability to breathe underwater.
  
• Benefactor may manifest Northoquartz Raiment—an armor that may be used once every ten minutes and lasts until it runs out of armour points. This white, full-body crystal armor is watertight. Its clear and spherical helmet grants +50 to observation and +50% distance to gaze attacks, while the rest of the armor (plated like fish scales) allows the wearer to move through water without movement penalties. 20 hardness and 100 armour points.
  

[Madame Loki]

As Loki got closer to the shining in the distance, she saw that it was not the titan she was looking for. However, it was clear that she was getting closer. She remembered this scene being shown to her back in the fort. Her head turned as she looked about the area, she saw the locations of the titans or at least things that could be titans. It would be wise to memorize those locations, so that she would know exactly where she needed to head when she found their fighting partner. After looking over the locations of the other Titans she started looking for something that would lead her directly to the Spearhead Feline.

"Where is that damn groove?" Loki thought out loud. She remembered the Titan begin in this area near a valley. She would first look for signs of the valley, and one there she would look for the large Groove that the creature had left behind. That would lead her directly to where the Titan now rested. "See if you can spot a groove in the valley Kinz... that will lead us to it. If it's like everything else here, then the groove it left behind should be large enough to be seen from damn space." Loki would say a little annoyed as she would take one more look around her area, before taking off through the sky above the island looking for the tell tell groove in the Valley. She was starting to get anxious, all these beast around to kill, and she wanted to get started.

[Kinzoku]

Kinzoku searched to see if he could spot a grove. He could hear the anxiousness in Loki's tone and was equally as frustrated. They did not know who else was on the island besides Blitz Squadron. If someone were on the island, they could already have their titan and be fighting others. As he searched for the grove, Kinzoku remembered another detail of the titan.

"Loki, we could also try to locate the Valley. When the Spearhead Feline took off, it did so along the valley."

It was then, that moments like this were where Kinzoku's youth showed themselves.

"...or we could just ask another titan if they know where the Spearhead Feline usually hangs. I mean.... we don't know much about the titans, so it could be beneficial to ask. For all we know, the Spearhead Feline could have a cloaking ability."

Yes. Kinzoku pulled the "let's stop for directions" line. To be honest, Kinzoku was not much of a tracker. Therefore, he would have to rely on abilities in which he was accustomed to; one of which, being absorbing information. Kinzoku was always ready to learn, and this could be one of those moments. All they had to do was ask.

[Tetsu]

OOC: sorry for the wait, currently dealing with summer classes T-T alas...

Tetsu could quite understand why Claire had wanted to check out the creature so badly other than the fact that she could use it to straight up street fight other titans with it. When she held her hand up, Tetsu did the smart thing and held back. The thing could speak and clearly it would be better to let Claire handle it...

"Only one..." Tetsu thought to himself as he awaited Claires response

No. Only one. What could that even - oh.

Oh wow. There was something...something just at the edge of perception. Like it was nudging her from behind some kind of...mental wall. It was...information?

Covenant.

"I think I understand. You're...Northoquartz. The Covenant; it's more than just an arrangement. It's a bond. Each of us can bond with one of you, and each of you can only be bound to one of us. We support each other."

Claire's Light shined forth at maximum, matching that of the Titan before her. She took a ridid stance, speaking now with practiced formality from her time in with Gosei."Very well. I, Claire Sakurai, hereby accept the Covenant of Northoquartz, and bind myself to you until such time as our pact is annulled."

With that, she mentally grabbed hold of the chain at the edge of her thoughts, committing herself to this awesome creature. When the Covenant was complete, she summoned forth the Northoquartz Raiment to materialize around her gear using the sudden understanding granted by the Lunar Leviathan. Her Light then dimmed, suppressed once more so that she might appear to be a normal person...in a dragonscale wetsuit. So maybe not "normal".

"We'll have to find you a suitable partner later, Tetsu. For now, I think it's time we got started in earnest. Northoquartz! Friend, we've never been to this place before, so I'll defer to you in this - where would you like to begin asserting your dominance?"

Loki and Kinzoku

The valley, wherever it was, remained out of sight. The pair saw nothing from the sky.

However, if memory served, Loki knew that the Spearhead Feline was in the western portion of the isle's northern half. By all appearances, she and Kinzoku landed at the far east peninsula.

The distant dust cloud with two or three massive figures clashing together was far in the west—a dust cloud made by multiple titans. Something that big...

How many landmarks might it cover?

Meanwhile, for some reason, a gigantic white pillar rose up into sight at the southern horizon.

Claire and Tetsu

"Where?"

Northoquartz bowed its crystal head. A slight breeze fell upon Claire and Tetsu as it did so.

"First, the motionless."

From the sea, a massive cylinder of white crystal rose up besides Northoquartz. The cylinder reached well over a thousand meters upward, and as it peaked, the entire cylinder arched. A dim shadow fell over some of the mountains of Skystrip. As the arching cylinder neared one of the landmasses, smaller columns of crystal grew out the bottom and dug into the mountains and ground.

"Beware what flies."

With its stabilized crystal tube complete, Northoquartz swam into and up through its crystal. It followed the arch and began to swim inland. The crystal at the end of the cylinder grew when Northoquartz reached it, allowing the titan to travel further and further into the mountains.

"We slay this mountain with a million eyes."

Moculus, the vast mountain, opened its fifty massive eyes—each only a bit smaller than Northoquartz's own crystal ball. An endless sea of countless smaller eyes opened on the side of the mountain facing Northoquartz. Moculus's peak was four thousand meters high. Its green-grey surface was constantly in motion. Its blinks happened in a consecutive wave—like the look of undisturbed grasslands beneath the wind. Eyes ever in motion.

[Madame Loki]

Loki sighed as their was no sign on the valley anywhere. She looked around and it seemed she still had a great deal to go before she was on the western most part of the island. Her Eyes narrowed as she saw the Titan's clashing to the West. She would need to be heading that way, but she didn't want to get caught up in the middle of their fight. See saw how big the Bladespine was, and how big the other creatures she had seen were, is wasn't to difficult to figure out that the clashing titans were still some distance away. Loki rubbed the back of her head.

"So be it... this is taking too long." Loki would snap her fingers and as she did so a golden gun would manifest into her hand as she summoned "The Thorn" and it was loaded with Medium magazine clip, of Hiraishin Bolts. It was a magnificent gun, but it's purpose wasn't for power or attack, it was for travel. Loki held the gun out in front of her as he eyes focused in on the west. She didn't want to fire into the the commotion, so she would aim off the side of the battle, getting caught up in that with out back up would be... trouble. Loki took a breath, and focused in for a moment. She would then pull the trigger, "Hold on tight... oh wait... that right." Loki would say as she began to laugh as she used Kinz to pull the trigger.

The Bolt would fired out of the gun, move at 10miles per-second, and traveling up to roughly 800 meters. With a blink Loki would vanish in a flash of yellow light, taking her 800 meters towards the west. Just as she blinked, she noticed the Pillar of crystal, "What the..." She was gone and appeared 800 meters away with her arm reaching out to the side as she grabbed the bolt with her hand. She stop momentarily to get a look at the land. The first thing she would do was look for the dust cloud created by the clashing Titans. The way she aimed, she should be out of the range of the actually battle, but close enough to get a good look at what was going on, about 200 meters form the actually fight.

Of course that was considering that 800 meters was enough to actually closed the distance between her and the fighting Titan's in the west. If it was not she would reload her Gun, and prepare herself to fire another shot 800 more meters to the West. If this shot got her close enough, she would stop and scope out the area a bit before deciding on where she was going to go next. This Island was a lot bigger than she anticipated it would be. It was about time she stopped mess'in around. "What should we do Kinz? Hmmm?"

Flying Thunder God Technique - Duration: Instantaneous. Range: Up to 3,000 Miles (Use Naruto Geography Thread). The technique used as a complement to the Flying Thunder God Seal is a space-time technique in which the user follows the trace of their seal and moves directly to it. Upon completion of this technique, the user will vanish in a flash of yellow chakra and move within 2 meters of the Flying Thunder Dragon Seal. If more than one Seal is within range, the user can determine which is which and select the appropriate seal easily. Because this technique is able to affect anything that is in contact with the user or somehow connected to their chakra, the user can also use this technique to teleport other objects or people.
