The tiny tot - Kali - was working hard in her family forge. At only ten years old she had mastered the art of creating weapons and was now furthering her training into that of armour. Her father was working away in the tailor suite inside the house while her mother was hammering away and crafting a chest piece. She needed to master this before she would be allowed to work on proper jobs for the family business.
Her mother had given her a plate skirt that had been damaged in a fight. Nothing major, just a few dents that needed pound out. Due to her size and physical strength she wasn't really capable of physically pounding it out but the forge of her family had a few helpful modifications. using one or two modified machines to get the pounding done right Kali continued to knock the dents out of the plate skirt getting it levelled out and round to the curve which had already been crafted into it.
After knocking the dents out, it was the polishing and buffing to make it look like it was new again. The metal grinder was fired up and while Kali worked carefully she would grind off the scratches and some of the paint work. After a good thirty minutes, she moved the armour over to the buffer to buff out the scratches that had been made, working it over until the metal worked as if it was new leaving it now to just need a repaint. Something that her mother tended to enjoy.
After waiting till her mother was done with her own work, Kali called her over to come check over the plate skirt.
