To Emi, the Moon Dog's arm movements would appear to be oddly humanoid despite her mundane canine appearance. “Oh! Yes. Zuruel has been going on and on about that shield for weeks. If you could, I am sure he will appreciate it.” With her tail flailing wildly along the air in excitement, Lady followed Emi to her smithy. If things went smoothly and Emi had time, she was eager to request something of her own.

“Tch.” Zuruel cursed as he heard Ryu’s arrow whizzing along the air. Based on the trajectory, he knew it was heading for his katana. Unable to stop it, the katana collided with the arrow – the act of which triggering an explosion and causing it to fly into the ground completely frozen from the tip of the blade all the way to the handle. Meanwhile, Zuruel heard three more arrows whiz past the katana and head towards him. Sensing this, he vanished in a flash of light and appeared next to his frozen katana. Instantly to appearing, he continued the action of drawing his katana and tossing it at Ryu for a distance of 3m away from the boy. By the time he unleashed his spinning projectile, the trio of arrows originally aimed at him would have exploded somewhere in the distance behind him.

Ryutatsu was unsurprised with the teleporting to where his sword was. This trick was really being over done though it was a nice trick. Ryutatsu wanted to learn it himself so he could get more use out of his speed. But either way he was prepared and sent a Dragon Strike Draw even before Zuruel could draw his sword to throw, though that was aimed a little on the high side to stop the draw itself.
At three meters they were in tight quarters for distance attacks. Dodging at this range would be hard if not impossible, but Ryutatsu was taking no chances and performed the same trick that Zuruel had tried against him. And this time there was no place to teleport to as his weapons were all near him this time. Ryutatsu didn't know by what means the teleport worked but he knew it was tied to objects that Zuruel had on his person.
A series of wave that happen in a blink thanks to arm movements so fast they literally couldn't be seen individually. Ryutatsu could sense such movements generally because of his extensive training in high speed battles so he wouldn't be surprised if Zuruel could too. Dragon's Nest three times over carried another Nine Dragon Strikes. Ryutatsu further aimed to bracket and strike Zuruel several times over. This made a total of ten Dragon Strikes to hold and disrupt Zuruel making sure he was stayed put as Ryutatsu performed a even more powerful series.
Nine strikes that were even faster than the pervious nine or the initial one which all happened in a flash. Nine strikes that were so fast they were as one and a one that was a flash as well. Ryutatsu's nine headed dragon would roar as Ryutatsu took a step forward to make sure he could at least hurt the creature man.

Gosei Ryuu: Ryūsōsen (Dragon's Nest Strike) Rank: "B" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: This technique is a rapid-strike technique which deals a flurry of successive blows at god-like speed. Special: --- Drawback: Number of movements equals the amount of attacks user is able to perform. May perform only once per two rounds. User must be stationary. Description: A rapid striking attack. The user uses speed within their attack and attacks three times per movement to an opponent's body. This is used to stop large opponents or large objects. Depending on the user's movements depends on how many times a user are able to perform this attack. The user is also capable of adding in the technique Gosei Ryuu: Ryusen (Dragon Strike) within each strike making a more devastating attack. Gosei Ryuu: Kuzu-ryūsen (Nine-headed Dragon Flash) Rank: "S" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: This technique is a formidable technique which utilizes Shinsoku (lit. God-speed) to the fullest extent; dealing nine strikes to the most fundamental targets of swordsmanship (Kara Take, Kesa Giri, Saka Gesa, Hidari Nagi, Migi Nagi, Hidari Kiriage, Migi Kiriage, Saka Kaze, and Tsuki), all at the same time. Special: --- Drawback: Description: These points are the focus of the technique as they make up the basis of one’s guarding stance, regardless of style or weapon. So with the Kuzu-ryūsen, attacking all nine all at once, guarding and dodging becomes virtually pointless. Unlike the multiple strike attack, Ryūsōsen, all nine strikes of the Kuzu-ryūsen carry lethal force. However, weight and power play a critical aspect in the effectiveness of the technique. Chakra Strike Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: User draws upon their Chakra power to enhance their weapons with Chakra Energy. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: As a Weaving Movement, user can imbue their weapons with a fraction of their power. For 5 rounds per Class Level, the user's weapons deal +1 damage and are treated as Chakra for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. This bonus increases by +1 per Class Level to a maximum of +5 at "S" Class. At "B" Class, user's extra damage can be of the acid, cold, electricity, or fire type. At "A" Class, user's weapon damage increases by +6 to that respected element. Being 3m away, Zuruel was out of reach from Ryu’s blade. This gave him a split second to notice the boy’s telegraphed sword movements – a action which would further be emphasised by his Armiger senses warning him of the danger to come. There wasn’t enough time to know what was coming. Simply, Zuruel forced a mental trigger to echo in his mind to activate his Density Manipulation augmentation. In an instant, he achieved incorporealness, an ability which would allow him to completely avoid the first vortex of air. “A Dragon Strike?” The Kedoin smiled. He was itching to use his Chakra. However, he wasn’t willing to lose the battle by being the first to do so. That honour would instead be given to Ryu – who would now find all of his Taijutsu rendered useless against the incorporeal opponent.
As the second Dragon Strike unleashed and harmlessly phased through Zuruel, he vanished in a flash of light – a action which would still masked by all the smoke in the area. Ryu would now realise that Zuruel didn’t just possess the ability to teleport to any of his weapons. He also possessed the ability to teleport anywhere around them. Using the frozen katana behind him as a focal point, Zuruel appeared 2m ahead of it – leaving only a 1m gap between him and Ryu. Instantaneously to appearing, the seals on the Kedoin’s sheathed katana triggered. Immediately, it exploded in a violent and fiery 2m explosion that would instantly consume both Ryu and Zuruel. Not even being incorporeal could protect the Kedoin from the Chakra-enhanced flames. Likewise, Ryu faced a problem. As impossible as it was for Zuruel to avoid an explosion that originated from an item strapped to his waist, Ryu would also find it near-impossible to react to the human-bomb strategy. As the six seals triggered on their own the moment he appeared within 2m of Ryu, there wasn’t even time to register that Hiraishin had just been performed. Such was the nature of the Warding Seal.

Flying Thunder God Technique - Duration: Instantaneous. Range: Country to Country so long as the Countries are connected. The technique used as a complement to the Flying Thunder God Seal is a space-time technique in which the user follows the trace of their seal and moves directly to it. Upon completion of this technique, the user will vanish in a flash of yellow chakra and move within 2 meters of the Flying Thunder Dragon Seal. If more than one Seal is within range, the user can determine which is which and select the appropriate seal easily. Because this technique is able to affect anything that is in contact with the user or somehow connected to their chakra, the user can also use this technique to teleport other objects or people. To perform takes up no Movements, however uses up Handseals equal to a "B" Rank Jutsu. Uses up Chakra equal to a Healing Hands (Minor).

Trigger: A creature enters the area (2 meter diameter) containing the glyph, passes within range of the glyph's attack, or opens or handles a warded object without speaking the password or meeting an exception. The range of the explosion is 2-meter-radius burst. Additional effects last 1 round per Warding Skill Mastery. Targets are subject to 1 save per round. Multiple Explosions: Since Glyph of Warding is a seal, it acts like a Jutsu, thus each Explosion does its own individual damage no matter how many Glyphs of Warding is activated at the same time. However, the user may combine the Damage to deal 1 Massive Single attack by supplying chakra equal to Healing Hands (Light) per Glyph of Warding Seal before Activating the Explosion. To see the Glyph the user must make an Extremely Difficult Difficulty Observation check to spot the Glyph. Characters who are able to disable Chakra Traps are able to disable the Glyph of Warding Seal with an Extremely Difficult Difficulty Disable Device check. Limit: Must know Glyph of Warding.

Ryutatsu realized something was up when the first Dragon strike passed right through Zuruel. The feedback from the sound wasn't quite right, though how Zuruel could see well enough to know how to do that was unusual. That didn't matter though for he had the same trick as well, just like his cousin the Monster Hunter. Ryutatsu was already phasing to incorporeal when the second strike should have struck the other man.
The Ryutatsu saw a flash of light and in that instant Ryutatsu knew that Zuruel wasn't where he use to be. It was a neat trick but using his sense of metal which gave him an accurate picture of where Zuruel appeared to be Ryutatsu changed his swings and sped himself up to the point of creating nine strikes in the span of one flash. A flash that was more real than either knew as Zuruel became a bomb basically.
Even as Nine strikes each with the weight to kill, each strong enough to take down most opponents in one came in combined in a force that could not be stopped as they both were engulfed in flames and destruction. Ryutatsu could feel his skin blister and burn even as healing energy from his sword tried to stem the damage. The instant of a new sun that engulfed the two dueling martial artists and the force of nine dragons happening all in one split of a split of a second.
Ryutatsu would be through the heart of fire by the end of the explosion but his clothes seared off and his pearly white armor blacken and charred, even his gauntlet was blackened. Ryutatsu himself might as well as be bald for all the hair was left on him. His skin was severely burned, his pain was immense but his control was such that his habitual movements were not slowed. He could still move and he still had some unblemished skin but he had felt that attack.
Now it was time to see how well Zuruel survived. But the honor has been met either way for Zuruel was the first to up the ante once more using whatever he did to create a fire of such force. Only extreme alchemy or ninjutsu chakra use could do such a force or so Ryutatsu believed. For them to push it much further someone would die.

Mithril Perfected Shoulder Armour Piece (Overview) x2 Rank: "C" Type: Main, Protection, Armour Effect: Armour created to protect the shoulder of the wearer. Special: Made from a special material used to create light full body armour while applying silver mechanics to weapons against Damage Reduction. Armor Stats: Mithril Perfected = Hardness - 30 Drawback: --- Description: Also known as the Pauldron. Pauldrons cover the shoulder area. They can also cover the armpit, and sometimes parts of the back and chest. These are connected to the Arm Armour Pieces to give larger protection. They typically consist of a single large dome-shaped piece to cover the shoulder, with multiple parts attached to it to defend the arm and upper shoulder. Armour Class: 5. Description: Identification: Easy; Hardness: 15; Armour Points/Inch: 30; Armour Class: -4. An item made from Mithral weighs significantly less than the same item made from other metals. It is strong enough however, to not alter the weapon’s size category, or the ease with which it can be wielded. Mithral is a very rare silvery, glistening metal that is lighter than steel but just as hard. When worked like steel, it becomes a wonderful material from which to create armor, and is occasionally used for other items as well. Mithral armour reduces Armour Class by -4 per Armour Piece for the purposes of movement and other limitations. A character wearing full mithral armour will not suffer the same Armour Penalty Checks, Movement Loss, and Handseal loss as they normally would with steel arour. Items not primarily of metal are not meaningfully affected by being partially made of mithral. (A longsword can be a mithral weapon, while a quarterstaff cannot.) Special: Made from a special material used to create light full body armour while applying silver mechanics to weapons against Damage Reduction. Armor Stats: Mithril Perfected = Hardness - 30 Drawback: --- Description: The Arm Armor can consist of 3 pieces. The Upper Cannon which is intended to protect the upper arms, the Lower Cannon which is intended to protect the lower arms, and the couter which is used to connect the two pieces together while protecting the elbow. Sometimes straps can be used to connect the upper and lower pieces together. Gauntlets are intended to protect the lower arm depending on the size; however that does not mean that the Arm Armour Piece cannot do so. Armour Class: 4. Cloak, Battle Rank: "" Type: Main, Slot Holder, 0 Slots, Clothing Effect: A special cloak that is treated as a shield. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: This exotic shield is not a shield in the typical sense, but rather a special cloak that can be used to foil an opponent's attacks. The user cannot use a battle cloak to make a shield bash attack, but a user can use it to make a disarm attempt. When used in combat, a battle cloak occupies a hand just as a light shield does, allowing the user to carry other items in that hand but not wield a weapon with it. Because the battle cloak is considered as a light shield it has the shield bonus of light shield, however this bonus deflects attacks instead of blocking them. Gosei Ryuu: Kuzu-ryūsen (Nine-headed Dragon Flash) Rank: "S" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: This technique is a formidable technique which utilizes Shinsoku (lit. God-speed) to the fullest extent; dealing nine strikes to the most fundamental targets of swordsmanship (Kara Take, Kesa Giri, Saka Gesa, Hidari Nagi, Migi Nagi, Hidari Kiriage, Migi Kiriage, Saka Kaze, and Tsuki), all at the same time. Special: --- Drawback: Description: These points are the focus of the technique as they make up the basis of one’s guarding stance, regardless of style or weapon. So with the Kuzu-ryūsen, attacking all nine all at once, guarding and dodging becomes virtually pointless. Unlike the multiple strike attack, Ryūsōsen, all nine strikes of the Kuzu-ryūsen carry lethal force. However, weight and power play a critical aspect in the effectiveness of the technique. For 5 rounds per Class Level, the user's weapons deal +1 damage and are treated as Chakra for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. This bonus increases by +1 per Class Level to a maximum of +5 at "S" Class. At "B" Class, user's extra damage can be of the acid, cold, electricity, or fire type. A Katana is a type of sword characterized as having a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard (Tsuba) and long grip to accommodate two hands with a blade length greater than 60 cm ( 23 1⁄2 inches). The metal is silver-blue with a green reflective shine. Made of Arandur weighs the same as steel. The blade itself is engraved. Several words of power have been artistically etched into the blade. On one side it reads Florebo quocumque ferar, and on the other it's translation, "I will flower everywhere I am planted". Speaking these words while holding the blade will instill a sense of calm over the user. The user can also instill a sense of calm over those that perceive the sword and hear these words spoken, for 25 minutes. They will need to make a will save of 35 to avoid the effect. Any made save against this effect renders the target immune to this effect from this item ever again. The blade has a wide, twisted cross-guard, which makes sure the blade is both balanced and capable of protecting the owner's hands against any sliding sword and is held by a grip wrapped in elegant, black smooth leather. Hellfire blazed outwards and completely dissipated the smoke screen. Instead, searing-hot flames ravaged the 2m area like all-consuming orange serpents. By the time the flames were reduced to embers, Zuruel was already gritting his teeth and struggling to remain conscious. The left side of his body – fully charred – had took the brunt of the damage. Visibly, it had blackened and become scaly due to the cell damage. Like Ryu, the rest of his flesh appeared blistered and badly burned. His eyebrows and hair also appeared to have singed off without a trace. Rather painfully so too. However, the greatest pain of all wasn’t from the inferno. It was from Ryu’s final attack.
As Ryu’s cold blade peeled out from Zuruel’s scorched flesh, the Kedoin immediately coughed up blood and staggered. He appeared ready to collapse as his posture slouched and head dropped to analyse the state he was in. He expected to see a single stab wound in his scorched chest. However, there wasn’t one. There was nine. “Tch.” He grimaced. The moment Ryu’s attack ended, Zuruel immediately unleashed his own Nine-headed Dragon Flash in a similar last ditch-effort to defeat the opponent. Like Ryu’s red-hot blade, Tessaiga was also glowing from the flames. This meant that if successful, each of the nine stabbing attacks would cauterize Ryu’s wound. A fact which would prevent him from dying and likewise, was the reason Zuruel didn’t simply bleed to death after the aftermath of the attack.
Beyond all that, there were reasons Zuruel didn’t simply collapse after the attack or fail to unleash his attack. These reasons mostly came down to his Kedoin cells and physiology. While the combination of the explosion and Nine-headed Dragon Flash were enough to defeat or even outright kill a normal human, Zuruel possessed several unique abilities beyond that of the ordinary. Firstly, although Ryu had successfully pierced Zuruel’s heart and brain, the Kedoin possessed the ability to fully function as per normal despite his damaged heart. Likewise, the cauterization prevented unnecessary blood loss. As for the brain, Ryu wouldn’t know but he possessed a secondary one hidden away in his right thigh that was still functioning. On top of all this, all the other organs Ryu impaled with his swift swordplay were vitals – but not dangerous enough to cause him to die on the spot.
Furthermore, Zuruel possessed immense willpower (27). Although the explosion didn’t defeat Zuruel, Ryu’s Nine-headed Dragon Flash effectively killed him. This caused his Kedoin Cells to fight off death and force their master to pull himself back from the brink of destruction. Combined with his regenerative abilities, this was enough to remain conscious and unleash his own Nine-headed Dragon Flash frighteningly quickly. Zuruel had no way of knowing what Ryu could do to dodge or block the attack – but he was confident that there was simply no time for Ryu to do anything. Especially not after having spent the last bit of his stamina on his own Nine-headed Dragon Flash. Zuruel on the other hand, had one key advantage over the white-haired boy. He wasn’t human. Despite only having just forced himself back to reality and away from the brink of death, his body was not tired. Immediately, his body had already begun regenerating all the damage that had been done to it. Although he was still very much in a similarly bad state to Ryu, Zuruel’s hair grew back frighteningly quickly (by the end of the post). This was to throw the boy’s game off and make it appear as if the brunt of all the damage had already been healed. This was now a psychological game. If the nine strikes didn’t finish off Ryu, then he hoped the sight of his swiftly-regenerating body would be more than enough to demoralize the opponent into unconsciousness.

Zuruel has resistances etc, but I've calculated the explosion + Nine-headed flash was enough to reduce Zuruel's AP to 0, leading to a killing blow being dealt. This triggered Finite Life.

Healer's Gem +100 AP, all status conditions removed. Rank: "S" Type: Secondary, 15 per Slot, Harnessed Gem Effect: A harnessed Gem used to heal people, and remove ailments. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: It is said that the first Healer's Gem was harnessed by a Medic of Temoca, the Goddess of Healing. Since that time, the skill to harness the powers of malachite has been passed on to many others. To harness the minerals natural Alchemy, a large malachite mineral is carved into a rough humanoid shape with arms and legs slightly spread. To activate the Alchemy, the harnessed gem is placed on the chest of a person that suffers from an ailment. The harnessed gem draws out the ailment and places it into the gem. Once the Healer's Gem has been used 50 times, it turns into dust and is destroyed. A healer’s gem removes all temporary ability damage (including the effects of Feeblemind) and immediately ends all of the following adverse conditions: blinded, confused (including the effects of insanity), dazed, dazzled, deafened, diseased, exhausted, fatigued, nauseated, sickened, stunned, and poisoned. In addition, a Healer's Gem will heal up to 100 Armour Points of damage. Limit: These types of items may be bought inside any Alchemy Shop. With a 5% chance of finding. Cost: 66,500 Ryo Each.
Re-mortality Protocol (all skin and organ damage will heal in 24 seconds) Rank: A-ranked Skill: Taijutsu, Passive Effect: The user can re-grow lost body parts, and heal minor damage to their bodies. Special: --- Drawback: Each use of this technique shortens the user’s life span by a certain amount. The head and heart cannot be targeted with this technique, as they are the only body parts that cannot be re-grown. Description: Through masterful control over the cells within the body, the Kedōin are capable of re-growing limbs and organs that have been severely damage or completely removed. Since the Kedōin command the cells of the body on the cellular level, they may order the cells of a badly damaged body parts of regenerate. The method of regeneration is different from ones you can find within the medical arts, as this form of regeneration is known as “Cellular Recycling” or “Re-mortality”. If a body part is damaged beyond use, the user will proceed to “recycle” and salvage undamaged portions of an injured structure. The user “consumes” the damaged body part: breaking down tissue to their basic cellular components, reusing undamaged cells and recycling everything else. If the user is able to perform re-mortality through recycling, they are capable of re-growing fully functional limbs/organs within 6 posts (36 Seconds); minus 1 post (6 seconds) for every rank the user is above “B-Class”. If there is nothing left for recycling and the body part is completely lost, then the above duration is doubled as it takes longer to reconstruct cells from nothing. Kedōin also benefit from minor wound healing with re-mortality. Wounds no larger than 4 in3 (10cm3) can be healed at the same rate as their re-mortality passive; closing up as if never existed. Each time the user regenerates through any of the above means, the user’s life span is lowered by 1 year. Healing minor wounds does not consume any time. Limit: Kedōin Blood Line. Automatically gained after 500tp.
Cardiac Control (prevents instant death before Trait and healing can kick in from other sources) Rank: B-ranked Skill: Tajiutsu Effect: Commands the heart to stop beating Special: --- Drawback: This technique can only be used for a set amount of time. Duration halved during combat. Description: Through cellular dominance, the Kedōin Clan are capable of stopping the heart, while retaining full cardiovascular function. At their whim, the user can command the fine muscles that line the vascular spaces within their body to operate in a manner as to pump blood where it is needed. Kedōin can pump blood via smooth muscle for 6 minute. This technique is helpful if the user needs to fake their death, and stop medical ninja from checking their vitals. Paired with other techniques, Kedōin can become a very convincing corpse or even stealthier with no heart beat to make sounds. Alternatively, this can grant the user a few remaining moments of function if their heart should fail. If the user's primary cardiovascular pump were to cease functioning due to damage, this technique can bid the user some time until they can repair damage, or produce a counter attack. Limit: Must have 500tp within Kedōin Blood Line. Must know "Shift of Organs (Internal)"
Warped Visage: Biomaterial Growth (used to grow back hair rapidly) Rank: D-ranked Skill: Taijutsu Effect: Allows the user to grow hair and nails and change its appearance as desired. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: The most basic skill of the Kedōin Clan. By manipulating hormones and cells, they are capable of growing/changing hair and nails on their body. Through their blood line, the user can grow hair on any part of their body, at any length, and any color. The user may choose to grow short and soft blonde hair, or even long blue and dread locked hair. Nails on the toes and fingers can be grown to be long or shorten. They may appear to whatever the user desires, even choosing to make them appear rotting or polished with color. Nails can also take the appearance of claws, but offer no additional increases to offense. Hair and nail growth and control marks the first level of cellular control for the Kedōin. It takes one post to grow or alter any length/color of hair or nails the user wishes. This length of hair is capped and reaches a maximum length of 2.5 meters (the user cannot recast this technique to go beyond this length). And nails cannot be longer than 6 inches, with no enhanced durability.

Ryutatsu saw his opponent was not quite down but was extremely injured. Even with the rapid regeneration that seemed to be happening. The slump of Zuruel's body did not bode well for his opponent. He was somewhat afraid that he went to far once more. This wouldn't be the first time he accidently severely hurt someone during a 'friendly' match. But this was different if it wasn't for Zuruel not being a normal human he would be dead.
The sudden attack though from Zuruel was no surprise for his senses were already telling him his opponent was still full of spirit of a warrior. Any cornered and injured wolf would attack at this point. The attack was so strong and fierce that Ryutatsu could do only two things accept some more damage to satisfy Zuruel's honor or blink away and leave them both feeling a bit unfinished.
Ryutatsu would show Zuruel a honor few received, an unshackling of his bloodline. Ryutatsu rarely if ever needed to fully use his bloodline, it was his ace in the hole. But honor had been met and it was rare to meet an honorable opponent who pushes him to such heights. Even Shiki and Loki had skewed views of honor battles. Ryutatsu reacted with the same light speed that Zuruel had.
This was pushing him beyond his limits but that was good in his mind. With an jolt of Adrenaline and speed beyond a normal human Ryutatsu made a valiant but ultimately futile attempt to stop all nine strikes. Ryutatsu was just two tired to react with the same attack twice but his effort wasn't completely in vain. Ryutatsu's speed and skill allowed the high and mid strikes glide over him as two of the lower strikes got blocked by floating controlled Nightin Gale and Sheath on either side of him. The vertical strike was met with Abyssal Shard a black crystal sword in which Ryutatsu locked against and attack again against in the hole created with a counter.
The piercing strike was only evaded enough to lessen the damage some what so Ryutatsu was struck but only one of nine made it through. If Ryutatsu wasn't as skilled as he was and as fast as he was that still would have been a kill shot. But between the slightly off aim of Zuruel and the twist of his body the strike was to a non vital spot and not nearly as damaging as it could have been. However Ryutatsu had countered into that vortex of nine swords to strike hard with Abyssal which was coated in a rarefied chakra that would do increased but non lethal damage and a follow up of a sheath to break bones and put Zuruel into a state where they could call a end to this before one of them died. Honor had been met continuing would be detrimental.

Sutatikku Nagare (Static Current) (20 Meters) (25 Rounds) Rank: "C" Skill: Kekkai Genkai Ninjutsu Effect: Allows the user to manipulate electrostatics and electric charges. Special: Rat, Dragon, Ram, Tiger, Monkey, Dog, Horse, Rabbit once per 5 turns. Drawback: Objects must be visible. While actively using this ability, the user must remain perfectly still, and no other jutsu may be used while the user is attempting to manipulate charges. Only metallic objects or semi-metallic objects can be manipulated. Description: Allows the user to manipulate and control electrostatic, which is by definition electricity at rest. This gives the user the ability to move around both positive and negative charges on objects, which, in the end, can result in the ability to either repel or attract objects to and from each other. It must be noted that this jutsu strictly follows the concept of the Conservation of Charges. That means that without influence, all charges within nature are balanced at zero. Only when acted upon do these charges change. This ability is a requirement for all members of the Kyoudo Clan. When the user first gains this ability, they have only the ability to affect one object at a time within five meters of their person. At maximum, the user may move 10% of an object’s positive or negative charges to another object. While actively using this ability, the user must remain perfectly still, and no other jutsu may be used while the user is attempting to manipulate charges. Due to the relative electrical field produced by every person Kyoudo cannot affect people, and due to the low electronegativity of non-metallic objects, only metallic objects can be affected. Sutatikku Nou (Static Awareness) Rank: B Skill: Ninjutsu Effect: Allows a member of the Kyoudo blood limit to manipulate and control electrostatic charges even out of their range of sight, in their personal static field. Special: - Drawback: One can only use this ability if it is in the range of their own electrostatic field. Only useful if one has trained Kyori Keiko a number of times. All manipulation of sensed objects is still, of course, limited by the other Kyoudo techniques. Description: Normally one can only use their Sutatikku Nagare ability on objects they can see. However with much training and experience eventually a member of the Kyoudo become so attuned with their static field that they can 'feel' objects around them. All objects in nature carry an electrical charge even if it's at zero. An experienced Kyoudo can sense such things and manipulate them as long as it is within their own static field. This grants the user the ability of complete static awareness in their field. This is directly correlated to the amount of times one has learned Kyori Keiko (Distance Training). Limit: Sutatikku Nagare (Static Current) ability, 500 tp in the Kyoudo clan. Once you have 500 TP of Kyoudo jutsus, this is automatically "learned".
Uncanny Dodge Rank: “B” Skill: Supplementary Effect: The user is no longer be flat-footed. Special: –- Drawback: –- Description: The user can react to danger before their senses would normally allow them to do so. They cannot be caught flat-footed, nor do they lose any Defensive benefits if the attacker is invisible. The user still loses their Defensive benefits if they are immobilized. A user with this ability can still lose their Defensive Abilities if an opponent successfully uses a feint attack. If the user already knows Uncanny Dodge from a different source, they may automatically learn Improved Uncanny Dodge. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash).
Heaven Shapeless: Dodge Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A technique used to dodge and evade attacks. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: The user learns how to proficiently dodge and evade flying objects as well as oncoming weapons through predicting the attacks. A very useful technique since the Heaven Shapeless: Stance (Single) has no defensive capabilities. The user will stand in one position and learn the minimum amount of movements required to avoid an attack. The bending of the body at a rapid pace is essential to this technique as well as ducking, side-stepping, jumping, and bobbing/weaving. Each rank the user learns the user is capable of effectively knowing how to evade a technique equal in rank. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Tensora (天空 Heavenly Sky), Must know Heaven Shapeless: Stance (Single).
Nameru (To Taste) Rank: E, D, C, B, A, S Skill: Taijutsu Effect: The user, through the sharpening of their five senses and an instinctual knowledge of flow, becomes aware of their surroundings and capable of defending against attacks. Special: -- Drawback: Can only be learned up to your current Character Rank. Description: The user strives to expand their senses, taking in data from all five senses and treating each of them as equally important. Through a combination of peripheral vision, hearing, and measurement of air pressure changes, the user becomes capable of perceiving threats around them and reacting accordingly. At E rank, the user can only perceive such threats as traps or projectiles. However, at the following levels, the user becomes capable of perceiving strikes from a foe of an equal level to the rank they have learned. Therefore, a B rank ninja could strike a C rank user of this technique and the user would not be able to perceive them via this technique and lose the majority of the benefits, though their dodging would benefit from the heightened awareness nonetheless. The user may only learn this technique up to their character’s rank. Thus, a C rank character could only learn up to the C rank version of Nameru. Nameru is limited to threats within twenty meters of the foe, as anything that doesn’t enter that radius is beyond the senses of a human to perceive. However, threats are perceivable once they enter that range. Limit: Must learn from a Gintsuki no Seikou Mai Master. Must know Hyouuryuu Yuki (Drifting Snow).
Ken Mai (Blade Dance) Rank: E, C, B Skill: Taijutsu Effect: The user becomes more graceful and agile, increasing their speed. Special: -- Drawback: The user must train extensively to increase their speed. Description: The user, through intensive training and study of the flow of the human body, learns to conserve and streamline their motions, making them faster and more efficient. As a result of this training, the user gains more graceful, faster motions and more efficient reflexes, allowing them to move and react faster than normal when wielding their weapon. This does not increase the speed of the ninja ad lib; it increases the speed and skill with which they can handle a weapon. A ninja may only learn up to their rank in this technique. Limit: Must learn from a Gintsuki no Seikou Mai Master. Must Ryuuchou Koori (Flowing Ice).
Gentle Touch Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A chakra technique applied to weapons allowing the user to strike with heavy non-lethal Damage. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: All Gurus learn to master the art of the Gentle Touch, a mystical technique that involves with dealing non-lethal damage with focusing bursts of Chakra. By investing at least 1 point of Spring Time of Youth Points in this ability the user can charge a weapon granted by their Philosophy with a rarified form of Chakra Energy. All attacks made with that weapon deal additional damage equal to the user's Indomitable Fortitude, but all damage dealt by the user while this ability is active is non-lethal. A user can assign Spring Time of Youth Points to their Gentle Touch ability as Handseals equal to the Rank of this Jutsu. For every point of Spring Time of Youth Points invested in this ability, the Charged weapon deals an additional 4 Armour Points of Weapon Damage. This ability only works against living targets; undead and constructs are immune to its effects. Limit: Must be a practitioner of The Eight Celestial Gates
Heaven: Block/Attack Counter Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: The user blocks and attacks with a counterattack quickly and efficiently. Special: --- Drawback: Technique will not work if the opponent overpowers the user, or if the first initial block does not work. Description: The user performs Heaven Blocking Technique (Point Up/Point Down), and then counters with either a Heaven Basic Strikes, or a Heaven Speed Step after pivoting to the opponent's dead side. This technique is considered as a counter so it could be more deadly than normal. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Tensora (天空 Heavenly Sky), Must know Heaven: Speed Step.
Keihatsu Ryuu: Muhyou No Jirai (Hoar Frost Thunderclap) Rank: "B" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A low Battōjutsu used to evade mid and high strikes. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Picture The user stands in the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture). This technique is almost exact as the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade) with some variations. As an opponent goes for a mid or high slash, the user charges forward and uses a downward step with their knee going down. The user grabs the handle of the sword near the Tsuba while their body moves down, evading the strike while the user unsheathes their blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. This is a form of a counter attack where the user takes advantage of the opponent's attack to strike them down. The user can safely evade mid and high strikes when performing. Unsheathing the blade takes no movements, however, the concentration of such a quick strike is evident; upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash). Must know Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade).
Keihatsu Ryuu: Soryūsen (Paired Dragon Strike) Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: A move that utilizes both the sword and sheath within the same attack. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: The user uses both their sword and their sheath to do this move. The user starts with the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture) and allows the opponent strike first. At the last moment, the user draws their blade performing Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade) to hit the opponent. If the opponent somehow manages to dodge the first attack, the user follows through with their sheath. The sheath strike delivers a pulverizing blow capable of crushing bone and shattering wood, but if the sword strike misses, the sheath strike acts as powerful insurance, preventing an opponent's attack and delivering a crushing blow when it's least expected. Unsheathing the sword takes up no movements when performing the first attack, however the second attack does take up a movement. The user sacrifices a movement when sheathing the sword. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Busōsen (Arms Flash). Must know Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade).
Chakra Strike Rank: "C" Skill: TaiJutsu Effect: User draws upon their Chakra power to enhance their weapons with Chakra Energy. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: As a Weaving Movement, user can imbue their weapons with a fraction of their power. For 5 rounds per Class Level, the user's weapons deal +1 damage and are treated as Chakra for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. This bonus increases by +1 per Class Level to a maximum of +5 at "S" Class. At "B" Class, user's extra damage can be of the acid, cold, electricity, or fire type. At "A" Class, user's weapon damage increases by +6 to that respected element. If the user has the Wind Release they may apply their release to this technique turning the Elemental Damage to Slashing, Bludgeoning, or Piercing Damage depending on the type of Weapon used. Limit: Universal TaiJutsu Technique. Must know Chakra Jutsus.

“What on earth!?” Zuruel witnessed his blurred lunges either be dodged or bounce off Ryu’s weaponary. Most notable of all, a floating blade. There wasn’t much time to comprehend what this meant. At first, the Kedoin assumed Ryu could use Force techniques just like himself. However, Force did not possess sensory abilities. The only thing that could explain Ryu’s abilities was one word. Magnetism. “Figured it out.” He smirked to himself as one strike pierced into Ryu’s chest. Simultaneously, however, Ryu countered. However, there was no blood or sensation of torn flesh. In fact, Ryu’s blade was now stuck.
Due to all the damage Ryu had sustained followed by using up most of his stamina with the Nine-Headed Dragon Flash while Zuruel’s stamina had done nothing but recover since, Zuruel managed to form a single maw along his side – which with the aid of his Armiger senses – swiftly bore down and crushed Ryu’s blade between its teeth with the force of 6000 PSI. Acting as a clamp, it squeezed onto the sword and prevented Ryu from moving or continuing his actions as the fanged bones cracked slightly and bled around the gums from the impact of the boy’s attack. Sensing the sheath incoming thanks to his heightened Armiger senses one more, Zuruel raised his shield met Ryu’s sheath with a harsh metallic clang. Simultaneous to this, he pulled his katana out from Ryu's bleeding chest and held it to his neck in a threatening gesture. With the steel having cooled down considerably since the explosion, this wound was no longer cauterized and was bleeding profusely. Although it was clear the boy possessed impressive stamina, unless he was secretly a Kedoin, there was no way he could keep up with Zuruel's rapid regeneration.
“Shall we call this my win? I've already recovered from all your attacks while you're still considerably damaged from mine. If this goes on, the only one who will die is you.” There was a lie in that sentence. A lie Ryu would be unable to detect through any means thanks to the Kedoin's body manipulation. Although his organs were still heavily damaged, by now, Zuruel hair had fully formed and a fresh layer of flesh had oozed over his wounds and burns. Although he was still heavily injured, to a observer like Ryu, it would appear as if Zuruel had fully regenerated in a matter of seconds. The aim, of course, was to demoralize the opponent. Not only was Ryu's stamina dangerously low and his body far more injured than the still-regenerating Zuruel, but now he had to face the realisation that his opponent seemingly could not be harmed.

Enduring Bites Rank: C, B, A, S Skill: Taijutsu (Supplementary) Effect: Maws are more resistant to damage. Special: --- Drawback: Endurance is only granted towards physical force. Solid form Ninjutsu attacks will do 50% more damage to teeth. Objects applying force 5 times heavier than the user's own body weight will deal an additional 50% damage. Description: Just like any bones within the body, continuous impact and training can strengthen structural integrity. The same can be said with the user's maws. With enough use, the bones and enamel that make up the maw's fangs/teeth become stronger. When first learned, the user's maw can withstand an impact force 1 C-ranked. Learning each respective rank of this techniques grants the user the same amount of defense till S-ranked, where the user's maws can withstand an S-ranked amount of force before breaking. Limit: Must have at least 200 tp within the Kedōin Blood Line. Must know "Legion of Maw" learned 3 times.
Fiendish Maws Rank: C, B, A, S Skill: Taijutsu (Supplementary) Effect: Maws deliver more vicious bites. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Picture With training, bites derived from the users maws are far deadlier. The muscles that control each maw can be strengthened in such a way, that it allows a bite force far superior to a humans. An average human has a bite force of roughly 200 psi. When first learned, the user's maw can bite with a force of 650 psi; shattering wood and cracking stone. When learned a second time, a bite from a maw generates 1500 psi, each shattering bones, and stone alike. When learned a third time, a bite can cleave body parts off with 3000 psi; ripping and rendering armor or light metal alloys with ease. When learned a last time, maws rip and render heavy armor, and dense metal alloys with ease; at a force of 6000 psi. Limit: Kedōin Blood Line. Must know "Enduring Bites"
Mastery of Maws Rank: S-ranked Skill: Taijutsu Effect: Maws can be grown faster. Special: --- Drawback: Though fast, it would still be unwise to catch incredible fast objects, or objects enhanced with additional properties. Solid form Ninjutsu attacks will do 50% more damage to teeth. Objects applying force 5 times heavier than the user's own body weight will deal an additional 50% more damage. Description: Picture The highest peak of training the user may obtain within the "Legion of Maw" technique tree. Through diligence and training, the user is capable of producing maws on the body at an astounding speed. The cells of the user's body act on nearly a reflexive level, and allows the user to create maws at a whim. When obtained, the user is capable of producing a maw within the course of a single movement; instead of being created within 6 seconds (one post). This further enhances the effectiveness of the clan's maw abilities, as they can now grown to catch a punch or deliver a quick and vicious bite. Kedōin can even catch the swing of a sword with the correct timing, and grasp the blade between the teeth, as to not harm flesh. A maw can catch in flight objects such as kunai and arrows if the user can predict their flight path correctly. Limit: Kedōin Blood Line. Must have 500tp within the Blood line, and know 200tp within the Legion of Maw technique tree. Must know "Legion of Maw", the max amount of times.
Body Of lies Rank: C-ranked Skill: Taijutsu Effect: Lie detecting skills and abilities do not work well on the user. Special: --- Drawback: Complex movements and techniques, usually of the "A-ranked" and "S-ranked" nature will break the concentration needed for this technique. Movement enhancement techniques (IE: Chakra gates) will cause this technique to end. Description: This technique is often used to control the body in such a manner, as to deceive others attempting to peer into the body or read some kind of bodily function from the user for the purposes of lie detecting. If the heart rate, temperature, smooth muscle movement and breathing are being read to detect lying, the user can fool on lookers by maintaining consistencies within these automatic body functions. Rather than sweating, breathing heavily or having your heart race, the user can maintain a normal base line within all body functions, which fools on lookers. Control over these autonomic functions can be overridden by the user's cellular control nature. With this, the user may appear as if they are telling the truth, with no inclination of lying. If die rolls are used, the opponent automatically lose 50% on all die rolls. If a ranking system is used, then the user is considered a user one rank above their opponents. Animals are affected by this technique in the same manner. It takes 1 post to alter and maintain consistent body functions. Limit: Kedōin Blood Line.
False Intentions Rank: C-ranked Skill: Taijutsu Effect: Reading the alignment or nature or the user is harder. Special: --- Drawback: Same drawbacks as "Body Of lies". Only hides outward presentation. Literally mind reading, or physical contact that produces the same end results as mind reading cannot be deceived. Description: The deceptive qualities of the Kedōin are so powerful, it even influences how the mind and body functions in terms of outward emotional presentation. Common reflexive manners, the physical appearance of emotions (such as fist clenching in anger, or relaxed shoulders in elation), and even how the neurons fire during certain emotional states can be overridden by the user's cellular manipulation abilities. "Micro expression", the involuntary facial expression shown on the face of humans according to emotions experienced can even be controlled by a conscious Kedōin, which are often the expressions pick up by animals. Animals and users with the abilities to read these emotional states will view the user as the way the Kedōin desire. For example, a evil killing intent and anger can be hidden behind a smile, which can normally be sensed by animals. The user's alignment is hidden as well, matching the current presentation they desire. When a murderous Kedōin is trying to portray a chivalrous hero, it is very difficult to tell the user is putting on an act. It takes 1 post to alter and maintain consistent body functions. Ryutatsu smiled as without hand seals Ryutatsu did something truly unexpected. His energy surged into a single rose buried under the hilt's wrapping and it exploded into a much longer weapon than it was under the hilt. Along the length of Abyssal Shard a Rose vine wrapped the blade and exploded in a series of thorns. If his sword was still gripped they would pierce into the the maw that was Zuruel's.
Ryutatsu then spoke as he slowly took his headband from his neck. "Yes, you win this round but know that your not the only one who heals quick and has surprises." For even as they spoke Ryutatsu was healing as well and recovering stamina abet at a much slower rate. Zuruel would feel if the thorns had pierced him several seeds of roses were entered into his system and as time drew on more and more were flooding his system.

When the user attacks the user may hit a part of the body. If the user makes skin contact with the rose the seeds are then implanted into the opponent's skin as they lay dormant. Afterwords the user performs handseals to control the seeds. The seeds found inside the body of the opponent burst out sprouting all through the opponent's body. The Rose seeds then feeds off of the opponent's body till finally there was nothing left as the stems and roots found in the roses constricts all around inside the opponent's body before exploding creating a bush garden of roses found on the floor. Ryutatsu had one last surprise for the Mo assassin. Zuruel would sense something was wrong just as the blades that wasn't in Ryutatsu's hand moved about. Nightin Gale moved up and was similarly at a kill position at Zuruel's back if he was truly human. But the Zuruel would sense an extreme heat coming from a second blade that hadn't been seen before. This blade was in a position as if it was held by an invisible swordsman.
Ryutatsu truly had been holding back a lot in the name of honor. But he also recognized that Zuruel probably had as well. This other sword was strange if Zuruel took a look at it. It was a fresh craft if the smell of the forge still clinging to it was anything to say. But one was the flat side of the blade had an flower that was somehow crafted into the steel to hold it in place. This gave the sword an oddly fragrant scent, but there was a residual pungent odor also waifing from it.
Ryutatsu reveal his final trumph card or at least so it would seem. This sword was unlike any other most would have seen, and the glowing hot blade spoke to the damage potential of it. Ryutatsu had made it to sell on the market as one of his specialty pieces but it deserved to be in the hands of someone honorable. "Firestorm's Despair and Nightin Gale could have done this fight for me. I let you close for honor's sake, I just don't want to see you die. Nice Regeneration, but I have seen someone who could do it better so it doesn't rattle me."
(OOC: During his epic he fought someone who took over a 1000 TP of damage and was still coming until a seal that was hidden on his chest was destroyed. Ryutatsu is assuming that Zuruel has such a healing seal somewhere.)

When the user speaks the words "Fire's Blaze Explodes." the effect of Despair: (The enchanted creatures suffer a -2 penalty to Saves, -5 to Attack Damage, and -10 Skill Checks.) happens if they fail against a Will save of 35. A One-Handed Weapon. These weapons do +52 Amour Points of Damage. The katana is generally defined as the standard sized, moderately curved (as opposed to the older tachi featuring more curvature) Japanese sword with a blade length greater than 60 cm (23 1⁄2 inches). It is characterized by its distinctive appearance: a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard (tsuba) and long grip to accommodate two hands. “Vines!?” Zuruel blinked. He had never seen such a technique before. He had somewhat heard rumours of the odd element of Wood – however, he had never seen it in action. As the vines shot out, Zuruel’s eyes widened. The thorny tendrils looked menacing. In his injured state, there was no telling what could happen. Instinctively, he prepared to spin on the spot and unleash another Cyclonic Shell Crush to knock the attack and Ryu away. However, fearing for boy's safety, the Kedoin instead released the blade from his maw and knocked it aside with his shield. In a defensive gesture, he hid behind the shield as his nostrils analysed the strange scents in the air. If the vines were still coming for him, then he’d know.
“How does he still have energy to- Wait, a Jutsu?” Zuruel blinked at the thought. Were the vines a sign that Ryu surrendered? Whether they were or not, the outcome of the battle became clear as Ryu declared the Kedoin as the winner. This caused a smirk to stretch across his face. At least, it did until he noticed something in the reflection of his shield. The wound he had inflicted on Ryu’s chest sealed itself shut using the vines as make-shift stitching. It was a gruesome sight. A sight which would only result in more respect from Zuruel. “And there was me thinking only a Kedoin would be ballsy enough to do something like that.”
Zuruel then blinked as he spotted two blurs in his shield. “That again… You’re as tricky and as deadly as a Raijin.” In the reflection of his shield, Zuruel could see the twin blades aimed at him. Once again, his sense of hearing failed to alert him of the danger. The control Ryu had over the blades also fully confirmed his earlier theory. It definitely was magnetism. “Sadly, you’re aiming for the wrong spot. There’s no organs there.” The Kedoin smirked. Against a normal human, Ryu would have indeed been aiming for a vital. Against a Kedoin with the ability to rearrange his external and internal body parts, however, he’d have no such luck striking a vital so easily.
“Really now?” Zuruel’s smirk shifted from a smirk to a scowl. Swiftly, he pivoted on one foot and stepped forwards to allow Nightin Gale to stab into his body. He then reached out and grabbed onto Firestorm's Despair’s handle to claim it for himself. The action had two purposes. One – he wanted to prove his regeneration and ability to survive was far more superior to anything Ryu had ever seen before. Two – he wanted to see if Ryu’s magnetism could overpower his grip strength. “It’s weird. I haven’t been this satisfied with a battle in a long time.” The smirk quickly returned and opened to release a snicker as he felt the heat from the blade bombarding his flesh. Although it wasn’t as hot as the explosion, the sensation still reminded him of the inferno. “That Dojo of yours – still want me to teach your students? Suddenly I feel like claiming a apprentice or two.”

Ryutatsu smirked as Zuruel stepped away from him in response to the Thorns of his roses. His roses took almost no energy from him. Every few seconds they were not battling a little more of Ryutatsu's health returned and healed. It was as if the damage of the explosion was reversing itself as he healed. The last thing to be healed was the makeshift stitching on his chest which unlike the rest began to scar.
When Zuruel attempted to grab a hold on the swords they would simply move out of reach. Nightin Gale came to Ryutatsu's hand and was sheathed and placed on his back. Abyssal Shard was sheathed as well once the rose was shrunk back into a manageable size. But Firestorm's Despair on the other hand stayed out. " I do need more instructors. As right now the cadre are limited. Take Firestorm's Despair as a fee for training myself and others who join the school. But for the students lets impress the importance of honor even among enemies." As he spoke Firestorm returned towards Zuruel's hand hilt first, a sheath made out of the same metal flying to cover the blade. Ryutatsu had a precise mastery that few could match.
Ryutatsu wasn't as powerful as some of the Kyoudo in his use of magnetism but where he lacked in pure power he made up for in precision. He was a true blade master as the elements themselves became blades at his command. Zuruel saw what he could do with just the few blades he carried. And this was him not putting much chakra into it. His stamina is running low but his energy was far from gone.

“Lady.” The Moon Dog perked up in response to her name being called and dashed back to Zuruel’s side. “Heal the boy. I don’t enjoy the sight of injured allies.” In a strange display of dexterity, Lady lifted her front half off the ground by balancing on her hind legs to gain some height. She then drooled over Ryu’s wounds. It would take some time, but immediately, the boy would feel a calm and soothing sensation the moment the liquid touched his scarred flesh. Slowly, all the damage done to him was beginning to regenerate. Coupled together with his existing regenerative powers, the full process wouldn’t take much time. Given Lady’s powers, he’d even find his scorched hair fibers repairing themselves.
“It’s not like Zuruel to make friends so easily. He must respect your strength.” Not wanting to embarrass her companion with the comment, she used her telepathy to only speak into Ryu’s mind. “Oh? The headband was enough… But if you insist, I cannot say no to fine craftsmanship. You have my gratitude Raijin.” Clearly, the nickname was beginning to stick. “Interesting.” Zuruel snickered as the weapon pulled itself into his hand. He could feel warmth radiating from the sheath. Whether it was the sheath itself or the intensity of the blade, the Kedoin couldn’t help but analyse the material of the weapon carefully. The otherworldly craftsmanship reminded him of Loki and Emi’s work.
“We should have a rematch one day. No sense in holding back our Chakra – the both of us seem very difficult to kill.” With another snicker, Zuruel pointed the blunt end of the sheath at Ryu and used it to grab his headband if allowed. He then looked down at the marking on it. “A sun and cloud… What village is this from?” It would be clear to Ryu that Zuruel knew very little about how villages worked. Having spent all of his life not bothering with the politics of Ninja, he never bothered to learn the basics such as what the symbols on the headbands meant or represented. All he knew was that each symbol belonged to a specific village. The only notable one of which he could remember was Leaf’s due to their village neighboring Mo’s walls. Naturally, this meant a lot of interaction between the two villages.

Ryutatsu raised an eye ridge of his scorched eyebrow when Lady walked on her hind legs. This wasn't the first speaking animal with strange abilities he came across. But the last one was an ancient being of lightning bound to the body of a wolf. So when lady talked to his mind he was surprised but not startled. "So you have companions of unusual abilities as well." He didn't like being slobbered on but the healing energy was undeniable. Ryutatsu allowed the energy to work on his wounds and especially his hair.
Ryutatsu then responded to Zuruel as he examined one of his best pieces. The Katana Firestorm's Despair was quite unusual but something interesting about it was at the base of the blade near the guard was a maker's mark. The mark was a rose intertwined with a Lightning Bolt. "I am of the village in the clouds. Honor begets honor. " Ryutatsu allowed Zuruel to claim his prize for besting him as honor had to be assured. " Let's indeed but we may need to ensure that there is plenty of space for that, wouldn't want bystanders hurt." Ryutatsu spoke those words but his concern for others was only surface deep it was honor that made him care at all.

“Unusual? I suppose so.” Zuruel shrugged before continuing his sentence. “For normal human standards anyway. Not much falls into the realms of unusual for me.” Upon pocketing the headband into his cloak, Zuruel gave Ryu’s still-sheathed sword a quick twirl. The weapon was light. Definitely not made of Obdurium. “I’ve always wished to own the ultimate sword. The ultimate weapon. Even if this may not be it, you have my gratitude for I feel one step closer to my goal.” With a smirk, the Kedoin slotted Firestorm's Despair into the sash holding the rest of his weaponary. With the battle over, he reseathed Tessaiga and dropped his shield – the act of which causing it to vanish back into its seal in a puff of smoke.
“Ah, it appears Emi has abandoned us.” After healing most of Ryu’s wounds, Lady dropped back onto all fours. “I know where he is. Give me a few hours.” With a wink, she dashed off into the horizon. “…I suppose we are waiting.” Zuruel squatted lower and remained perched in that position with his body hovering inches off the grass. “I know plenty of places we can let loose.” After snickering, Zuruel stroked his chin with his left hand. “Tell me Ryu – what are your motivations in life? I find that strong individuals like us became that way because of some sort of deep-rooted desire. What is your poison?”

"Poison, you say? Well truth is I am not strong. Loki and Shiki are strong. I became this way because it is all I have. I have been abandon by family and even now Shiki has abandoned the village that has taken me in. I will not let down those in put faith in me like I have been let down, I am like what I wield solid with an edge and is in the process of being tempered into the pinnacle of deadly beauty. Steel does not lie and does not abandon, it will only break if mistreated. " Zuruel if he was aware of the people Ryutatsu spoke of would realize that he was a child yet as he compared himself to some of the strongest beings on the planet. Ryutatsu was no ordinary ten year as he well knew now but Ryutatsu was much stronger than he believed. If Zuruel kept up with the rumors of the world the Dojo in the fang run by a ten year old had an arena attached to the schools name. Here was where Ryutatsu made practice on his battle skills, more so he was renowned for his skill in forging a blade as well as wielding it. Only a few masters ever matched his natural skill but he also obviously practiced hard.

“Loki’s an interesting one. It is impossible to fathom her strength without forcing her to go all out. Sadly, she held back in our first confrontation and I lost the second due to careless haste. Shiki on the other hand… I’m rather interested in sparring with him now that you mention him being strong.” A sly grin stretched across Zuruel’s face. “Wait, Shiki abandoned your village? Does that make him a target? Where is he now?” Questions flooded the Kedoin’s mind. As he understood it – leaving a village carried grave responsibilities. In a effort to prevent village secrets from being shared, most Kage put a bounty on deserters in order to have them eliminated as soon as possible. “I am also curious about this dojo of yours now… Is it the one in Fang?” Zuruel had his suspicions, however, there was no way of confirming until Ryu answered. Clearly, he was interested in this location he assumed Ryu trained and gained all of his strength in. As arrogant as the boy may have sounded to regular individuals, Zuruel didn't feel the same way. As far as he cared, Ryu had just proved his strength. That alone gave him the right to boast such claims.

Ryutatsu's eyes became guarded as he realized he revealed to much information. "He retired and is not a target. Either way who is this Emi we are waiting on? Was it that other boy that was watching us? And yes my dojo is in Fang it's one of two there as Shiki established another one there. Mine is outside the port of Porthos." Ryutatsu started stretching and loosening his muscles as a cool down exercise so he doesn't get too stiff. His dojo was actually a massive wooden and metal complex that was expanded to include an arena for the entertainment of the civilians and training of true fighters in the ways of honor.

“Yes – Emi was the one watching us. I believe he owes me a freshly crafted shield if our deal still stands. While I do need to wait for him and Lady, you are free to leave if you wish.” Zuruel’s focused then shifted to the location of Ryu’s dojo. “Port of Porthos? I will be sure to pay it a visit sometime during the next few days.” Zuruel spent the next few moments analysing the sheath of Ryu’s gift. He appeared fascinated by the craftsmanship. He wondered if he could make the weapon even deadlier with the inclusion of some sort of poison. The only issue was, would the liquid be able to withstand the heat radiating from the blade?

Ryutatsu shrugged as he was still getting his muscles and everything to feel back in its normal state. That was a good exercise they had. The best he had really, only Loki had pushed him so far and even she used mostly tricks. This was the first true Taijutsu battle he had in a long time. Ryutatsu set himself to rights and waved as he walked back off on his patrol. He had to finish up before he reported back in anyways.

Sensing that Emi may not be returning and may intend to meet elsewhere, Zuruel decided to leave the planes of Fire with Lady and embark on another journey.
