Continuing to shut his mind to the possibility of death, or rather to the fear of it actually happening, Hamura slowly but surely managed to give it a place in the back of his mind. As a Shinobi, dying was just a part of life, as was the fact that he would soon end up being the one that would end up taking those lives with his own two hands. He knew deep down that he would not always be capable of saving those he was up against from themselves. Throughout some of the missions he had done for the land of Lightning, he had already encountered people that would have taken his life if they had the skill to back up their words and actions.
So far however, Hamura was still alive and kicking. Taking down such thugs with relative ease, he took pride in the fact that he could take down such confused individuals, as they must have been just that for thinking they could stand up against the military might of a Shinobi Village and get away with what they were doing in the shadows. While some would always fall between the cracks, soon, no one would be safe from him. Starting with the people acting out of the land of Fang, he would make himself strong enough to clean up all kinds of filth that stained the lives of innocent people.
Strangely, the sailors that banded with Atkor in order to become roving pirates were people he could vaguely forgive, though those that knew what it meant to be a Shinobi yet still defected and took others with them, they were beyond forgiveness. While the thought of such people would usually anger him, he kept his emotions from interfering with his rational thinking. With what loomed over the horizon, he could not allow such silly things get in the way of what needed to be done. He needed to radiate a calmness that would keep himself grounded while striking fear into the hearts of those that stood against him.
