Such aggression, did he actually intend to kill her? Not that it mattered, for the village possessed the capacity to raise her from the dead. Rather for the time being the ANBU in the surrounding area did not act on Yoko’s training partner instead allowing the pair to do as they pleased. That being said they still kept a mindful eye on the situation to step in should things turn to the worst. Alas, she was adrift in the wind, only able to watch as her opponent rapidly closed the distance between them.
Yoko’s options whilst in mid-air were very limited, she could have elected to run upwards but at such a distance she doubted she had enough time, as her blue-eyed gem informed her of the impending attack. As expected her foe was trying to use the same chakra sword technique, Yoko could quite literally see the chakra gathering for the technique along with its name. In order to evade the technique, she reflectively used a different technique of the Vayist tree.
The breath of the east wind, a mass of wind was created almost instantaneously, not with the intent to blow her opponent away, but rather to reposition herself with great haste. She needed to escape the path of the sword, and escape she did, her body became one with the wind, her physical form dispersing as she instantaneously teleported some sixty metres away.
She had effectively combined the perfect independence with the technique in order to barely escape the chakra blade with little more than light damage to her clothing. Upon landing at her position, she immediately took cover in an effort to remain as insubstantial as the air itself, hidden from view. Of course, if her opponent attempted to spot her through sensory means then he’d only see the ritual that she had previously set up? “Shoutai wa daremo shiranai himitsu no hi-ro-”
