As Valerys had arrived back into her native country, she thought that it would be worth while to do a little of searching for plants while she was home. Before going back to the village. Who knew what awaited her back there? It had been six years since she left, a long time to be gone for study (but she had indeed learned a lot). Might as well get some goodies before heading home. On her way back to the Sand Village, Valerys would past by the coast and spend some time along the shores. The waves would crash up to her feet, sending a wave of sweet cold relief through her body. The suns rays beat down on her, but she was used to it and almost thankful to be back in the treacherous terrain. All of a sudden Valerys could spot out a patch of jungle coming over the horizon. Palm trees and ferns stood out as evident among the coastline, salt water lapping up to many of the branches. Valerys thought she might have been seeing a mirage until she walked upon it herself. No. It was really here.
As Valerys entered the area, she immediately began to search for the Seerbrush plant which she had researched during her time on the road. She knew that it grew in jungles and was interested to see one for herself in the wild, a joy she had never known. Valerys moved deeper into the trees and underbrush, and looked around to see what she could spot. At every turn she was making to look around her so as to not miss anything. She went up to the trees, around their bases, in case the shrubbery might have been growing within the shade. At the entrance to the coastal forest she saw nothing, so Valerys continued on her trek. The palm trees that surrounded her seemed to beg to be examined, being so large and powerful in this barren landscape. Valerys spent much time around them, hoping that the same soil would have given way to the Seerbrush. She remembered the plant from her time with Shinda, and was sure that she could find them somewhere in this region. Luckily she was investigating a place close to water which was sure that plant would enjoy.
