| Psychoanalysis |

Ameya’s most defining characteristic is sleepy. She could spend her entire life under a blanket asleep. She always complains of wishing she was asleep because she feels so much better that way. It’s a feeling that she has never really explained to anyone before.

Because she is always sleeping, she is seen as lazy. And in a lot of ways she is. She will isn’t what others would consider task oriented, unless of course that task is sleeping. She will do things on her own time and doesn’t really like to be rushed. She knows things will eventually get done, so why rush into things.

She is definitely introverted. She isn’t really in touch with her feelings and gets really uncomfortable around emotional people. She also doesn’t really deal well with extroverts because they are in her face and it’s too much energy for her. She is very shy and tries to mostly keep to herself. Though keeping to herself generally means sleeping.

Her being quiet has earned her a reputation as someone that is rude. She will yawn and fall asleep in the middle of a conversation and she doesn’t have much input to add to a conversation. She tries to articulate her thoughts and feelings, but she just doesn’t know how.

She isn’t very smart. She doesn’t understand a lot of things going on around her, and her way of thinking is pretty straight forward. She takes things in a literal sense and follows her instincts. She tries to be a good person, but sometimes what she considers the right choice isn’t always perceived in that way. Others attribute it to her lack of understanding; she herself has never put any thought into it.

Ameya is not a thinker. She doesn’t think before she speaks, she doesn’t think before she acts, she doesn’t really think about anything that she does. Despite not being very intelligent, she has always been quick on her feet. She is someone that reacts in the moment. And she will follow through with her actions as long as they don’t get in the way of her next nap or sleep session.

Ameya is asexual and doesn’t really find an attraction to anyone. It’s not that she doesn’t recognize someone as attractive, she just has no urge to go beyond recognition. She doesn’t really recognize when someone is flirting with her right away, but when she does she gets really nervous and tries to avoid that person. Her shy meter skyrockets at that point.

Her favorite food is instant ramen because it cooks fast and can be eaten fast. Perfect meal to eat in front of the tv right before falling back asleep. She doesn’t have a favorite color, and doesn’t really understand what it means to find fascination with one color over another. It seems kind of petty to choose something based on aesthetics, at least in her mind.

Ameya is very forgiving. She doesn’t put too much energy into thinking about others and doesn’t really have the capability of showing hated. It is tough to even get her angry. Even if she was to be bullied, it would just go over her head and she would do what she always does when things are confusing: ignore them. It’s easier to ignore than it is to understand.

Ameya finds random things funny, and is said to have a dark sense of humor by some, and no sense of humor to others. She doesn’t laugh, or even smile for that matter, all that much. The blank feeling she has mostly dulls those feelings. She isn’t unhappy, she is just content.

Ameya is, of course, a Hyuuga. This means that she also carries the main identifiable trait of the Hyuuga: pale eyes. Though others have trouble identifying that because her eyes are usually half, or in some cases fully, closed because of how tired she is. Even when her eyes are open, they lack any real emotion, even for a Hyuuga whose eyes are already hard to read.

Though it is mostly her facial expressions that make her hard to read. Her face is usually blank, not because of lack of emotion, because of how sleepy and lazy she is. Though, there are indents all over her skin giving it a scaly look from close up thanks to her skin condition, Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis. Her skin is fair in color thanks to her lack of sunlight, which makes it hard to spot the scale like quality of her skin. Running your fingers over her skin will instantly prove otherwise.

Ameya is a petite girl. She is hardly five feet tall, and her body is really thin. She looks like she either doesn't eat much or has such a high metabolism that whatever she eats does nothing to her. This could also be attributed to the ritual that was cast on her when she was a child, Enhanced Metabolism. Despite only eating instant noodles, and eating at least five or six of them at a time, she holds onto her thin physique.

She has silky black hair that is usually a mess because she more than likely had just awoken from a nap. Her hair length falls just to her shoulders, while her bangs cover half of her eyes. If she does do anything with her hair, which is extremely rare, then she will just comb it back into a ponytail while maintaining her bangs. She doesn't really mind if her hair covers her eyes because she could just activate her Byakugan at any time in order to see right through it.

Ameya does not dress to impress anyone. In fact, she doesn't get dressed much at all. She wears her pajama's everywhere. Her pajama's consist of a long sleeve shit and pants. At the cuff of her hands and feet her, usually, light blue pajama's have a dark blue trim. The buttons along the middle are also dark blue. The shirt has a collar that sometimes gets scrunched up into a mess and other times it doesn't. Either way she does nothing to amend it.

She does not where any shoes. She has always gone everywhere barefoot. She states that she can move better that way, but the simple fact of the matter is is that she is too lazy to put on footwear. The most notable thing about her overall appearance is that she is always wrapped up in a blanket. She wears a blanket the way one would wear a cloak and many before stare at her as she does so. Her blanket is a dark gray in color, no pattern, nothing.

To understand Ameya’s past, you would need to understand the ongoing issue with the Hyuuga. Ameya’s mother was the first born in the Main Branch, but she wasn’t a fighter. She was very much someone who cared deeply for everyone around her and instead used her Byakugan to help heal people as one of the greatest medics known throughout the shinobi world.

Her father didn’t agree with the decision at all. He believed in tradition and tried to force her into training Jyuuken. She refused to strike at anyone, which infuriated him even more. She was disowned by her father, as well as the rest of the Hyuuga Clan. The seal was then placed on her head and she was banished.

Her mother traveled the world, healing those in need. She knew that her place in this world was as a caregiver, not a shinobi. That was when she met the man of her dreams. He also happened to be of the Hyuuga bloodline, but he also didn’t believe in tradition. Though he was well versed in Jyuuken.

As time passes, her mother was pregnant. The two of them lived happily, but decided to travel back to Konohagakure to birth her daughter amongst the other Hyuuga. This wasn’t taken very well and a battle broke out, driving them both out of the village. A few days after, Ameya was born on the outskirts of Hi no Kuni.

Her father somehow changed after their encounter with the Hyuuga. He became obsessed with revenge. As Ameya got older, he naturally trained her in Jyuuken. He found her other masters to train her in other jutsu as well, all for the sake of revenge. She didn’t have the Hyuuga seal on her head, so she could fight without being hindered.

He ended up joining a dark cult that said that they could make her more powerful than she could ever imagine. A twelve year old girl was cursed to never have children again. The Dead Cell Seal was placed and she was forced into training in order to build an army.

Ameya didn’t want any of this. She was different than most people. She always talked of sleeping and having vivid dreams that were of magical places where war did not exist and everyone was happy. Her fathers obsession was what killed her mother when she tried to take Ameya away. Ameya escaped the encounter and ended up on Kusagakure where she was kept safe from her father and his cult. He is still hunting her down.

Description: When concentrating to See Through Chakra, the character can also spend time equal to Handseals to gain the ability to see through objects with X-ray like vision up to 10 meters from the user. This does not impede the user's line of sight and the distance a user can normally see, however they simply will not be able to use the X-ray ability beyond 10 meters. When the user first learns this technique the user trains it as a regular "C" Rank Jutsu. Each additional training allows the user to use the X-Ray ability for an additional 10 meters. For every 50 meters the user trains an additional +10 Training Points added to their previous training. The user also suffers a penalty to Observation checks every 15 meters instead of every 3 meters. If user loses an eye (has 1 eye) Telescopic Eye is reduced by 50%. If the user's soul is beyond a solid object after the 10 meters and there is no way for the body to follow the user will move to the object and the soul will meet the user there. User creates a bond between the user and another. User can control the actions of any humanoid creature through a telepathic link that the user establishes with the subject’s mind. If the user and the subject have a common language, the user can generally force the subject to perform as the user desires, within the limits of its abilities. If no common language exists, the user can communicate only basic commands, such as “Come here,” “Go there,” “Fight,” and “Stand still.” User knows what the subject is experiencing, but the user does not receive direct sensory input from it, nor can it communicate with the user telepathically. Once the user has ave given a dominated creature a command, it continues to attempt to carry out that command to the exclusion of all other activities except those necessary for day-to-day survival (such as sleeping, eating, and so forth). Because of this limited range of activity, a Sense Motive check against Difficult Difficulty can determine that the subject’s behavior is being influenced by an enchantment effect. Changing the instructions or giving a dominated creature a new command is the equivalent of redirecting a Jutsu, so it is a movement. By concentrating fully on the Jutsu (Half a Round), the user can receive full sensory input as interpreted by the mind of the subject, though it still cannot communicate with the user. User cannot actually see through the subject’s eyes, so it’s not as good as being there themselves, but the user still gets a good idea of what is going on. Subjects resist this control, and any subject forced to take actions against its nature receives a new Will Save with a +2 bonus. Obviously self-destructive orders are not carried out. Once control is established, the range at which it can be exercised is unlimited, as long as the user and the subject are on the same plane. The user does not need to see the subject to control it.

Description: Kekkai (Barrier) is the main source, and the start of offensive and defensive attacks that give a wide variety of uses in and out of Combat. Kekkai (Barrier) allows the user to create a Tenkai (Heavenly Release) within a distance of 7 meters plus 6 meters per Class Level. User may also change the size of the Tenkai (Heavenly Release) within the size limit of 5 meters radius spread sphere (maximum) to 1 meter radius spread sphere (minimum). Learning an extra time allows the user to change the shape of the Sphere to another geometric shape no more complex than a Rectangular Prism (with a maximum volume of 523 meters Cubed). Kekkai (Barrier) strength is dependent on the user's knowledge of Tenkai (Heavenly Release). Time performing is the same as Tenkai (Heavenly Release), and designating an area, or determining the size of Tenkai (Heavenly Release) does not affect time length of performing. User may perform several Tenkai (Heavenly Release) within each other however must perform each one individually. Multi-Layered Tenkai (Heavenly Release) can be extremely effective. Any time a creature (including the performer) tries to perform a Chakra Jutsu or use a Jutsu-like ability within the area of the emanation, the Jutsu fails as if countered and explodes in the creature’s face, dealing 30 Armour Points of Force Damage per Rank of the Jutsu. The user causes the Tenkai (Heavenly Release) to implode and crush whatever is within it. According to rumors, when used to kill a person, the death is so quick that there is no time for the victim to feel any pain. The pressure also produces a fountain of blood. When performing Metsu, the pressure is so great it can liquefy an opponent. User must be within the range of Kekkai (Barrier) in order to perform Kekkai: Metsu (Barrier: Destroy). Time to perform the technique is the same as the Rank of the technique in Handseals.

Description: An expert level of the Tenkai (Heavenly Release) technique tree that produces a powerful Tenkai (Heavenly Release) which surrounds and shields the user. Though the form can vary on the user, each Bankai (Full Release) tend to have a standard of a white, flame-like aura. Bankai (Full Release) has considerable offensive and defensive capabilities: it can corrosively destroy virtually any object foreign to the user, and can repel all but the strongest attacks. The amount of Damage it can perform is equal to 1/10th of the current amount of Armour Points. This means the more attacks the user is struck to defend against, the weaker the attack will become. The strength of Bankai (Full Release) is dependent on the user's ability of performing Tenkai (Heavenly Release). If the user knows Tenkai (Heavenly Release) 3 times then it will have 220 Armour Points. The Duration of the technique is equal to Tenkai (Heavenly Release). The time length to perform the technique is dependent on the user's ability to perform Tenkai (Heavenly Release).

Every time learned the distance may increase by an additional ten Meters. When the distance reaches up to a Hundred Meters the type of training becomes B-Rank Training. When the distance reaches Two Hundred Meters the Training becomes A-Rank. When the user reaches to B-Rank Training the width of branches is Twelve Inches if the user desires. Drawback: This only applies to paper imbued with the user’s chakra.
Description: Upon training 500 points into the paper release, the users paper jutsu gain the ability to defend against B rank water jutsu and not disintegrate. The B rank mastery also allows the user’s paper to reduce burning from fire and lightning techniques by 50%. Upon investing 750 points into Paper Release, the user attains the A ranked mastery. The second stage of the mastery grants the users paper defense from A ranked water techniques as well as reduces burning from katon and raiton jutsu by 75%. The final stage of the mastery is gained once 1000 points are trained into the paper release. Once this feat is accomplished, the users paper gains immunity from suiton jutsu as well as burning from fire and lightning.
Limit: Paper Release; Once 500, 750, and 1000 points are gained within the paper release, the respective rank of the mastery is gained automatically. In order to gain the B rank mastery, A ranked Paper strength must be trained. The S ranked version of paper strength is needed to attain the A and S ranked masteries.

Effect: A technique which utilizes one own chakra to strengthen their paper. The more one learns into this technique, the stronger one is able to make their paper.

Drawback: The user must learn each rank of Kami Goukyou (Paper Strength) in order to be capable of making the paper stronger. This works well except for techniques that deal with fire damage or water damage.
Description: By combining ones own chakra within paper, they are capable of strengthening its form. The more attune one is with paper, the stronger it becomes. A vital step when attempting to draw out the full potential of ones paper. Note that no matter the rank of this technique, greatswords and other special weapons B rank and up are unable to be broken by the paper due to the unparalleled craftsmanship of the weapons.
When the user learns the D rank of this technique, they are capable of making their paper as strong as stone. At this stage, they are capable of cutting flesh.
When the user learns the C Rank version of this technique, they are capable of making their paper as strong as iron. At this stage they are capable of cutting through stone.
When the user learns the B Rank version of this technique, their paper is as strong as steel. At this stage they are capable of cutting through iron.
When the user learns the A Rank version of this technique, their paper is as strong as titanium. At this stage they are capable of cutting through steel.
When the user learns the S Rank version of this technique, they are capable of making their paper as strong as damascus steel. At this stage the piece of paper is capable of cutting through titanium

Effect: The beginning for any paper user. One must take the time to learn within this technique to gain access to more advanced paper techniques. With this technique the user will gain the knowledge to manipulate the form and actions of paper. The higher one goes into this technique, the more advanced their paper creations are.

Drawback: This is not a technique but an understanding. Without this, one cannot hope to utilize paper. This technique only grants minimal control over paper in their radius. Paper only being manipulated with this technique cannot be used as an offensive strike and lacks the chakra to be imbued with Paper Strength.
Description: There are 3 ranks to paper manipulation. Each rank has its own name and variation but each form allows a user access to more advanced capabilities.
Paper Adept - "C" Rank - This is the basic paper manipulation where everyone must start. With this rank of knowledge a user can manipulate pieces of paper in a simple form within the range of tiny to small size. Simple forms range from weapons such as needles or basic rods. At this stage the user is capable of manipulating paper within a radius of ten meters.
Paper Origami - "B" Rank - This is the intermediate form of manipulation. Upon achieving this rank, ones creations receive an origami feel to its creation. Utilizing ones own chakra, a user is capable of creating paper objects or animals within the origami realm. At this rank, a user is capable of manipulating paper within the range of medium to large size. At this stage the user is capable of manipulating paper within a radius of thirty meters.
Paper Masha - "A" Rank - This is the final level of paper manipulation. One is capable of taking multiple pieces of paper to create something of almost life like value. With this, one is capable of creating things within the range of huge to Gargantuan size. When the user learns this rank, they are capable of manipulating paper within a fifty meter radius.
Limit: Must have the Paper Release in order to learn this.

Effect: The shinobi is now capable of creating paper creatures to fight alongside them.

Drawback: Strength of the animals is dependent on the users knowledge of Paper Strength. The papers can only keep their shape within the users range of paper manipulation.
Description: After forming handseals, the user becomes capable of creating animals out of paper. The characteristics of the creations are contingent upon the users knowledge of Paper Manipulation.
D Rank-By using a single piece of paper per creation, the user is able to form tiny creations such as small birds or mice. The maximum number of creatures the user can create is 5.
C Rank-By using a minimum of 20 pieces of paper per creation, the user is able to form small creations such as cats, hawks, and larger rodents with a maximum of 5 at any 1 time. The number of tiny creatures the user can create is increased to 10.
B Rank- By using a minimum of 50 pieces of paper per creation, the user is able to form medium sized creations such as wolves or tigers with a maximum of 3 at any 1 time. The number of small creatures increases to 10, and tiny to 20.
A Rank- By using a minimum of 100 pieces of paper per creation, the user is able to form large sized creations such as horses, or elephants with a maximum of 2. The number of medium creatures increases to 6, small to 20, and tiny to 40.
S Rank- By using a minimum of 250 pieces of paper per creation, the user is able to form giant creations such as dragons or whales with a maximum of 1. The number of Large creatures is increased to 4, medium to 12, small to 40, and tiny to 80.

Kami Manto (Paper Clothing)

Effect: Allows the user to create articles of clothing out of paper.

Drawback: The strength of the clothing is only as powerful as the users knowledge of Paper Strength.
Description: After the formation of handseals, the users is able to form articles of clothing that take on the appearance of textiles woven from cloth fibers. Common uses for this technique use the clothing as armor, disguise, or even as a way to transport large amounts of paper on one’s body.
C Rank- The user is capable of forming smaller articles of clothing such as gloves, hats, headbands, and shoes. These can be formed with roughly 20 pieces of paper, but can hold a maximum of 50.
B Rank- The user is now capable of creating full sized garments such as shirts, pants, cloaks, kimonos, and other robe style articles. These can be formed with around 100 pieces of paper, but can hold 1000 sheets for shirts and pants, and roughly 3000 sheets for robes or kimonos.

Drawback: Paper being utilized in the shield cannot be used for another paper technique without dispelling the shield. Constantly drains a small amount of chakra.
Description: After forming hand seals, the user is able to call a swirling mass of paper to float around them made up of between 50 and 100 sheets. Acting much like the shield of sand, this jutsu acts independently of the users consciousness and blocks attacks automatically unless explicitly disabled by the user.

Effect: These strings attach to the users fingers much like puppet strings. The can attach to the opponent and immobilize them or can be attached to a paper familiar, boosting their movements to that of a taijutsu master of the same rank of the user.

Drawback: These strings are not invisible and can still be broken by conventional means. The strings are only as strong as the user’s knowledge of Paper Strength. Can only be used on paper familiars. Disables the users hands while they control the familiar.
Description: By rolling paper up into thin long strings, they attach to the users fingers and can be controlled by the arm movements of the user. The most common application of this technique is to boost the performance of a paper familiar, giving it increased speed and maneuverability. The user can only control one familiar at a time with the strings. Because the strings are made of tangible material, they can be used to hinder the movement of an opponent as well.

Description: This technique does not count against the user's Release Training Points. Water is one of the basic elemental nature transformation techniques allowing the user to manipulate pre-existing water by turning their Chakra into Water. It takes much more ability to create the water outside the body than to manipulate what is already available or expel it from their mouths (Need Water Creation Technique from Jutsu Enhancement Techniques). Water Release techniques can not only change shape but state as well. Moreover, the water becomes more solid in the process as well, and certain techniques can even allow the user to increase the water's density or viscosity, making it a suitable element to capture the targets. Offensive water techniques seem to inflict harm from the sudden force that they exert, which would cause massive internal damage to a human. Any Save Difficulty mentioned in a technique, whether Fortitude or Will is based off of 10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will. Some Ice Release techniques need pre-existing ice, snow, or water nearby in order to be used. Techniques that require a small source of water nearby is measured between 1.5 to 6 cubic meters. Medium is measured between 6 to 30 cubic meters. Large is measured between 30 cubic meters to 350 cubic meters. Huge is measured between 350 cubic meters to 1,500 cubic meters. Colossal is measured by anything more than 1,500 cubic meters.

As the user does so they create a somewhat "vacuum" like effect within their own chakra along the palm of their hands. What this occurs is when the user grows close to the opponent and does a punching like motion the opponent will feel a small amount of chakra escape from their very own body and be used towards the user's own special like force. This can be used to further the strength of the user with their own chakra supply.

Some maintain that this skill was created in order to combat the Sharingan. The user can only use this technique five times a day when first learned. Each time it is learned again, the user can use it one extra time per day.

Any foe or physical caught within the blast area is stalled or completely stopped by the counterforce. This technique, however, cannot stall Ninjutsu attacks. Also, because it is stationary, it requires more chakra than the Kaiten.

Description: The user spins like a top, secreting chakra from all of their tenketsus at once. A blue dome of whirling chakra forms around them, spinning with such force that a wind is whipped up around the dome. The dome has a radius of five meters. Ninjutsu and Taijutsu strikes are blown back if they come into contact with the dome. However, strikes of B rank or higher can pierce the dome, causing a chakra reaction that will most likely blow both the user and the attacker backwards.

Chakra no Uwaoi (Cover of Chakra)

Effect: The user forms a two inch thick shield of chakra around a specific part of their body momentarily.

Drawback: Requires deep concentration, can only hold on shield at a time, can only maintain a shield for a single attack against it.
Description: A hard, glassy looking cover, with barely visible chakra flowing like liquid beneath it, coats the selected part of the body. This hardened cover of chakra can be used for offensive purposes, allowing the user to cause more damage with punches and kicks. The shield can also be used to block C rank Taijutsu strikes and projectiles. Anything stronger will cause the chakra shield to shatter. The user can form another shield as soon as one is broken or fades.

Effect: The user strikes and seals sixty four tenketsu on the opponents’s body.

Drawback: Requires six movements to perform. The opponent must be within the Hakke to perform this technique.
Description: The user visualizes the Hakke, or Divination Field, standing in the center of the ying-yang. The Hakke is about five meters in radius. The user then settles into a wide-footed, elegant stance. They then move forward and strike two of the foe’s tenketsu with precise, chakra-infused fingers, sealing them. They then seal four, then eight, and so on until sixty-four tenketsu have been sealed. This causes the majority of chakra activity in the body to shut down, causing immense pain and stopping the opponent from molding their chakra. The only way to reopen the tenketsu is through medical treatment or having them unsealed by a Jyuuken user, or by an intense rush of chakra, like the Gates.

Description: With this technique the user takes in the variation of what they know in both Hakkeshou: Kaiten (Hands of the Eight Divinations: Divination Whirl), and Hakke Kusho (Eight Trigrams Empty Palm). Using the forcing thrusting power of Hakke Kusho (Eight Trigrams Empty Palm) and the chakra blowing power mixed with the chakra spin used in Hakkeshou: Kaiten (Hands of the Eight Divinations: Divination Whirl). The user spins their arm, rotating it some as they quickly thrust forward. Doing so a wave of chakra is sent flying towards the opponent capable of shattering rock and all kinds of rocks even created or formed by chakra. Drawback: When first learned user is only able to perform this technique in the air downwards as the force of gravity is needed to help with the technique. If the user trains into this technique with an extra twenty training points then the user is able to perform this technique while on the ground.
Description: The user takes the concept of Hakke Kusho (Eight Trigrams Empty Palm) and forms it into a new more deadly move. As a master of Jyuuken, the user's control with their inner chakra has become impeccable. Their strength becomes frightening. Imagine being hit by sheer force with an attack in which keeps an opponent still, while inflicting an immense amount of crushing power. This technique was first devised to be used in the air towards the ground against opponents standing on the ground. The user must find a way to achieve a height of over fifty meters in the air. While doing so the user becomes at peace with himself placing his hands together. Then the descend happens. Concentrating the chakra along the palm of their hands the user descends down head first. The user then extends his hitting arm over his head (towards the ground) using sheer force along with his own chakra. The force itself is to push down first keeping the opponent(s) to the ground, keeping them to where the opponent(s) may not move. If the opponent is a higher specialist (TaiJutsu Master against a TaiJutsu Specialist) and is one class higher then the user (A to B) the opponent(s) are able to avoid the attack. As the user finishes the attack they push their hand once more to the ground while continuing to descend. This attack has a range of fifteen meters in radius. Those who are within this range will be hit by the attack. As the attack finishes the opponent is crushed by the immense force as the attack leaves a massive imprint in the ground of the Buddhist Palm. If the user takes the time to train twenty more training points into the technique, the user is able to perform the technique while standing up. While standing (not falling) the basics stay the same as the opponent(s) are unable to move. Depending on the class of the user depends on the distance this technique may be forced while standing.

Description: The user uses both their sword and their sheath to do this move. The user starts with the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture) and allows the opponent strike first. At the last moment, the user draws their blade performing Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade) to hit the opponent. If the opponent somehow manages to dodge the first attack, the user follows through with their sheath. The sheath strike delivers a pulverizing blow capable of crushing bone and shattering wood, but if the sword strike misses, the sheath strike acts as powerful insurance, preventing an opponent's attack and delivering a crushing blow when it's least expected. Unsheathing the sword takes up no movements when performing the first attack, however the second attack does take up a movement. The user sacrifices a movement when sheathing the sword.

Keihatsu Ryuu: Hiryūsen (Flying Dragon Flash)

Effect: A sprung sword technique; the user draws the sword out of the sheath sending the sword flying like an arrow, aiming the hilt at a vital point.

Description: After assuming a Battōjutsu stance, the user rotates their body rapidly and then stops, aiming the sheath at the user's opponent. The force shoots the sword's grip out of the sheath like an arrow, allowing the user to strike a target outside of their zone. As a Battōjutsu move, it can be assumed that the sheath can then be used as a melee weapon in a second strike. It can be assumed that proper control for this technique is required, for applying too much may make the sword fly out of its sheath too far should it miss. It is recommended to aim at the temple of the opponent, or the hand in order to disarm them. It is also recommended to not allow full release as the sword should be kept inside the sheath at least 1/4th of the way.

Description: Picture The user stands in the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu no Kamae (Art of Drawing the Blade Posture). Grabbing the handle of the sword near the Tsuba, the user thereafter steps forward with the front leg while unsheathing the blade in a horizontal attacking motion across the body. So swift is this technique that it is akin to a "flash", taking no movements to perform. However, the concentration of such a quick strike is evident; upon sheathing the sword, the user must sacrifice a movement to do so. This technique may be performed with a knockback attack, knocking an opponent into the distance of 10 meters into a prone position.

Keihatsu Ryuu: Manjinuki (Sheath Draw)

Description: Picture A surprising variation of the Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade). (Right User) The user takes a left facing stance. A sheath draw is a movement where the user pulls the sheath while drawing the sword. Its purpose is to make the draw quick and effortless. This technique is absolutely essential to drawing and striking quickly and forcefully. The secret in this technique lies in the stance. The left-facing stance is the opposite of a normal stance and allows for a large sheath draw movement. The addition of stepping in with the right foot makes it more difficult to control, but enables a swift draw. The positioning of the draw puts the user closer to the opponent than a normal quick draw. In essence the user draws the same as Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade), however by pulling the sheathe back they will gain extra speed and power into the strike. Against Defense purposes this technique increases the striking power of a Keihatsu Ryuu: Battōjutsu (Art of Drawing the Blade) by 40 Armour Points. Drawing the sword takes no movements, but sheathing takes up 1 movement.
