Training Investigate 0/5 [Fourth Post]
Lost and Found Mission 4/4

    Before exiting out of the flight of stairs on the third floor, Shiro saw a maid making her way room to room. She was very near, only the third door on the right. He watched as she made the bed and wiped down the room. As she approached the last door, Shiro saw the master key that she had sticking out from the back of her left pocket. He waited at the door and quietly infiltrated the floor as she returned the master key to her pocket. At that point, Shiro snatched the key from her pocket and returned to the flight of stairs. As he ran up the steps, he watched the maid's reaction. His theft had gone unnoticed.
    Shiro skipped the third floor for now and continued his search on the fourth. The rooms he had passed were either empty or unexciting, excluding the occasional couple he saw having sexual intercourse. He made his way back down the hallway looking into the other side of the floor. It was all the same. He rushed up the flight of steps to the fifth floor.
    It was becoming routine, checking the rooms of the hall way on the left as he went out, and then checking the rooms on the right as he returned. Still nothing. He rushed up to the sixth floor and repeated. Nothing. He searched the seventh floor, nothing. This process continued until he was on the top levels of the Hotel which contained high end suites starting on the thirteenth floor.

Training Investigate 0/5 [Fifth Post]

    The thirteenth floor had an entire suite to itself. He used to master key he had stolen from the maid and opened the door to lavish splendor. The tile was a classic marble and the furniture seemed to be made of ivory. The suite was large enough that he had to infiltrate it to truly investigate it. There were multiple rooms, a large living room, a large bathroom, and large closet, a large bedroom, everything seemed to be over sized. 
    After a brief search with his byakugan, the room came up clean. He continued the search on the fourteenth floor and found it filled with lots of people. They were socializing, drinking and laughing, he could hear them through the door. Though he could see twenty meters into the room, he couldn't see it entirely, he needed a way in. He deactivated his byakugan, approached the door and knocked on it three times. A male in a suit with a wine glass in his hand opened it. 
    "Hi, my name is Shige and I am with hotel management. I was alerted that the suite may have an issue with the plumbing so I just need to take a couple of minutes to do a quick survey." The male opened the door wider to let Shiro in, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It will only take a moment." Since he had searched the previous suite, he knew the blueprint of the room and headed directly for the bathroom.

Training Investigate 0/5 [Sixth Post]

    Upon entering the bathroom, he had enough privacy to activate his byakugan and survey the area. As he lifted the toilet cap, he looked all around the suite with X-ray vision for 20 meters. He checked the bedroom and closet, but the kunoichi was nowhere to be found. Nor was she in the crowd where the party was happening. He deactivated his byakugan and closed the cap of the toilet and flushed it. 
    He left the suite and made his way up the final flight of steps. "This has to be it, she has to be there," Shiro thought. He surveyed the room from the outside and found two large, male figures lounging around the living room. "They could be sentries." The bedroom was hidden from his telescopic sight, but he was sure that she was there. He noticed that the window was wide open and had railings that his ninja tools could fit through. He weaved through a series of five hand seals and within moments 265 iridescent butterflies came flooding into the room and immediately entered the room as he heard the men's shock and excitement.
    In the midst of the confusion, the men's sight were tremendously obstructed but the hundreds of butterflies, but Shiro's byakugan was not hindered in the slightest. Shiro could see the kunoichi in the bedroom strapped to a chair and bound by locks. Nearly invisible, Shiro frisked one of the men and found keys in his pocket. Shiro weaved another series of five hand seals, unnoticed, and his chakra reached out and touched every single butterfly which allowed them to bend to his will. Subconsciously, he ordered a hundred of the butterflies to cover each man head to toe and to use their wings to block their vision at all times.

Training Investigate 0/5 [Seventh Post]

    Shiro used the opportunity to frisk one of the men and though he was moving erratically, he felt that he didn't have the keys. Shiro moved to frisk the second man and found the keys attached to his belt. As quickly as he could, Shiro detached the keys and went over to the kunoichi to free her from her shackles. The confused men tried to fight off the butterflies but their numbers were too vast. Eventually, Shiro was able to free the kunoichi from the shackles on her wrists and ankles and quickly escorted her out of the room and down the flight of steps. 
    "I am a ninja of Konohagakure and I didn't come alone. We need to get you to safety." They moved quickly through the flights of steps and when they reached the bottom, Shiro grabbed her by her hand as if they were a couple and they made their way across the casino and outside to the streets of Kanrakugai. Shiro called off the butterflies and they swarmed out of the fifteenth story window and took to the air sixty meters above them. 
    They turned the corner at the end of the street to a more public place where tourists were traveling the streets for food. Shiro took the kunoichi into a small diner and they sat down at the booth. The kunoichi seemed as though she had yet to come to her senses, so Shiro thought some food and drink would do her well. He got a good look at her and she appeared to be malnourished. "How long has it been since you ate or drank something?" Shiro asked.

Training Investigate 0/5 [Eighth Post]

    "Umm..." the kunoichi began, her voice was harsh as if she had a sore throat, "I don't know. I've lost track of time." A waitress came and asked the two what they would like to drink, "Water," the kunoichi replied. The waitress turned to Shiro and he ordered the same. "Okay, coming right up," the waitress said as she handed them each a menu. Shiro opened the menu and began reading down the list, "Don't be shy," he said to her. 
    Thankfully the items on the menu were cheap and within his budget, "After this meal, we'll start traveling to Ame no Kuni. We're going to get you home," he reassured her, "The worst is over." He watched as the Ame-kunoichi downed the entire glass of water. When she spoke next, her dry throat symptoms seemed to go away, "They ambushed me. It was five of them and one of me and they ambushed me. I warned them that if they touched me, as a ninja of the Rain, I would have them all killed. They didn't, but they stole all of my money."
    "I won't let them hurt you," Shiro said.
    Eventually the waitress returned and they were ready to order. The kunoichi ordered udon and Shiro ordered yakisoba. "I should've been more perceptive," she said. "It was in the middle of the night and they had on all black garb to blend in with the darkness. Even still... your eyes are peculiar. Are you blind?" 
    "No, I'm not blind," Shiro replied. There was silence until the waitress returned with the food a few minutes later. The aroma of yakisoba and udon caused him to salivate. He grinned at the kunoichi and said his respects before digging in. The flavor profile of yakisoba was his favorite and as he chewed he appreciated the quality.

    It seemed the kunoichi was thoroughly enjoying her meal, and by the time they finished, they were both elated. "That was the delicious meal I've ever eaten," she said. Shiro couldn't help but chuckle, "It was delicious even by normal standards." It seeemed the kunoichi picked up on what he meant, that a meal was always more savory, or sweeter after a tramautic incident, and she laughed heartily. Joy had given her features more vibrancy, or maybe it was because she hadn't eaten in a long time. Either way, the kunoichi was looking as though she was coming back to life.
    The waitress slipped them the check. Shiro picked it up and took a look and thought, "1,250 Ryo, not bad at all." He took a moment to feel at ease, "Are you ready to go?" 
    The kunoichi nodded and they stood up from the booth. Shiro paid the clerk at the entrance of the diner, wrapped his arm the kunoichi's shoulder as comfort and opened the door for her. "Hokage-sama, would you please escort us to Ame no Kuni?" Shiro asked to no one in particular, but was sure that he was in ear shot of Kinzoku.

Kinzoku smiled at the fact that Shiro was thinking rather than panicking when picking. he would then toss the kunai up and the clone would POOF!. The kunai would then change back into the Hokage, who would land on his feet. He was proud of the young shinobi even though he picked incorrectly.

Kinzoku would then put his hood on to turn invisible and continue south with the boy. Once reaching Otafuku Gai, Kinzoku would follow the boy around allowing him to reach his full potential be utilizing his tools to track the kunoichi as he did Kinzoku. As Kinzoku followed the young genin, he watched him search rooms to now avail.

Kinzoku activated his soul tuning and synced his should with every person in the building as it was within his range. While most souls had E ranked strength, he noticed a few souls resonating D rank strength. But it was a couple floors above them. How could he lead Shiro to the answer without giving it to him?

"Using your Byakugan, how about you limit your search to rooms with restrained people in there? Also, if the kunoichi was brought here against her will, there might be objects that are broken or damaged along the way or in the room."

Hopefully the hint would help Shiro out.

Luckily, it seemed as if Shiro did not need the advice as he was able to locate and extract the girl. Kinzoku followed the two as it did not seem he was needed yet. As Kinzoku followed them, he noticed the question about Shiro's eyes. Thankfully Shiro was smart enough not to give too much information about himself.

Kinzoku would then sighed silently. He was glad he did not have to explain to Shiro the importance of not giving away your trump card. He also was quiet impressed at the young gentleman. Whether it was to complete the mission or because he was actually a gentlemen did not matter. Kinzoku was impressed that the genin who previously said he did not have much funds, offered to by the girl food.

"Look at you lady killer."

Kinzoku thoughts would not leave his lips. But instead he would watch over the two and kept an eye out for any of the thugs from before. Part of him wanted to make sure they never attacked anyone else, but he knew it was not his mission; nor did he want to lose control when preserving justice.

Whether it was lucky for them or lucky Kinzoku's image, the perps did not show back up. Instead the two shinobi enjoyed their meal in peace and were able to make small talk without any interruptions. This made the young Hokage smile as if it weren't for Shiro needed assistance, he could have missed this beautiful moment.

Shiro then spoke up to Kinzoku, requesting that he help guide them to Ame no Kuni. Kinzoku thought a bit before whispering into Shiro's ear. Though Shiro did no know where Kinzoku was, the whispering and close proximity should have been enough to let Kinzoku know he did not want to be heard either.

"I will guide us but be careful as we have not made ties with Ame since our last hokage so I am unaware of how they feel towards us."

With that warning, Kinzoku would walk out, hopefully with Shiro following him. He would then start making his way to the questionable land. He hoped Shiro used other methods of tracking him besides sight as he still wanted to stay hidden just in case they were attacked in Ame. Him staying invisible was the best bet for flipping the tides if ambushed.

Training Tracking 0/10 (Five die rolls)

    Shiro nodded to show that he understood the Hokage and heeded his warning. Kinzoku made it clear that he would remain invisible so Shiro resorted to various tracking techniques to navigate the land. Shiro would use any method at his disposal that was appropriate such as a listening and watching for signs of the bulky, invisible man. Whatever Kinzoku offered as a sign, Shiro would interpret it as such. Somehow, he managed to follow Kinzoku through Kanrakugai. 
    As he and the kunoichi made his way through the street, he would hear subtle indicators to inform him on Kinzoku's position. The sounds were consistent and eventually, Shiro and the kunoichi were lead out of Kanrakugai and towards the outskirts of the city. The large hotels and entertainment venues became more part of the horizon and the night became more quiet and solitary. He wrapped his arm around the kunoichi for a brief moment to reassure her that she was in good hands. The outskirts became a clearing just outside of the village. 
    They would start on the main trail headed West, and they would continue traveling this path for some time. At first Shiro and the kunoichi would appear as friends having a night out, or perhaps even a couple, but now that they were alone with Kinzoku. Shiro retrieved his Leaf forehead protector from his pocket and tied it around his forehead to cover the caged bird seal. There was no need to act as a civilian anymore now that they were on a path with hardly any traffic. The kunoichi followed his lead and secured her Rain forehead protector to her forehead and Shiro asked her, "We'll start to pick up the pace from here on out." The kunoichi nodded, and Shiro noticed that she somehow appeared dangerous with her forehead protector on.

After Shiro heeded his warning, Kinzoku would lead the two shinobi out of the town. While doing so, Kinzoku would make sure to make subtle hints of his location. He made sure to do things that would alert Shiro's attention, but not so much that it would raise anyone else's suspicion.

As he led the way, small things would take place, such as someone feeling as if they were bumped or a vase almost falling. All would seem like weird coincidences, but as Kinzoku was sure Shiro know, coincidences could not be overlooked in their line of work.

Once out of the village, Kinzoku heard Shiro tell the kunoichi that they would be picking up the pace. Though he said it to the girl, Kinzoku knew that Shiro was also speaking to him as well without giving up information on there being another shinobi or his whereabouts. Smiling, Kinzoku was a bit proud as he would turn around and pick up the pace. Next stop, Ame no Kuni!

    "Please, lead the way," Shiro would say to the kunoichi as they entered Ame no Kuni. Shiro would travel in between the rain, using nature to shield him whenever he could. He would remain focused on the Shichidaime, using all of his powers of observation to take notice of the subtle hints of his presence. This system seemed to be working throughout their travel. The kunoichi would nod as she pressed ahead of Shiro.

Training Observation (0 SP) [Second post]

    Shiro would remain close to the kunoichi as they traveled further into Ame no Kuni. Technically, their mission was over, but Shiro wanted to take her as far as she would allow to leave a lasting positive impression about Leaf ninja with the girl. He followed her steadily, and would look for subtle hints of the Shichidaime's presence. The path was easy as they continued going in a single direction. Shiro surmised though that they were yet no where near her village.

Training Observation (0 SP) [Third post]

 
    There was a comfortable silence between the ninja as they traveled through Ame no Kuni. The sound of the rain had a cathartic effect, and he tried to avoid getting wet as much as he could. In that endeavor he was successful. He watched and listened the to the soft footsteps coming from the Hokage and kept the kunoichi in his sight. They moved quickly through the land in a semi-sprint.
