Dawning a cloak he had stolen from a cloths line, and performing the transformation technique, Muteki would now appear to be just some simple old man, on an errand. His feet carried him swiftly and carefully over the moist soil through the rain, with the stolen garment wrapped around him totally and the hood pulled up. He tried to hunch as he walked for the mere appearance of elderliness, but it was difficult with the precious bundle attached to his back. It was an awkward trip to say the least, but finally he reached his destination. The land of water docks.
Stepping onto the pier, the funny looking Muteki walked around until finally he spotted the type of ship he would use. It wasn’t something that you would call lavish, but it was sea worthy, and after a moment of persuasion, Muteki convinced the captain to ferry him to the main land, in exchange for a mere pittance worth of Ryo. He was almost home free. Stepping onto the ship, Muteki found his room, and awaited their arrival. It was funny, he never breather more easily then the moment he felt the ship begin moving away from the dock. Security at last.
While the ship sped across the open seas, Muteki occupied his tie with a combination of sleeping, and copying the mist scrolls onto some extra parchment he had found on the ship. This way when he gave the original to his new kage, Muteki could still have something set aside just incase. This was a big gamble, but Muteki always said life was about taking chances. Hopefully his luck hadn’t run out.
Writing while onboard a very unsteady ship was a difficult thing, but by the time the boat hit the dock of the fire country, Muteki had finished copying the scrolls with relatively few inkblots. He stashed both sets into the waterproof container, this time discarding the bank ledgers and wrapping them up inside plan scrolls of no importance. Time to set out on foot.
