Wind Release Skill
Rank: "D"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A prerequisite technique that allows the user to perform Wind Release techniques.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Wind release is 1 of the 5 basic elemental nature transformations. Most offensive Wind Release techniques are performed by making chakra as sharp and thin as possible, however, wind can also be generated as a large, concussive force to overwhelm a target. Wind-based techniques are mainly short to mid-ranged offensive techniques that combine brute force and keen precision to deal slashing damage. Wind Release also specifies in deflecting and even reflecting attacks. Wind Techniques come in 7 Wind Effects, which interfere with ranged attacks, or impose penalties on some skill checks. Wind Effects are described in the Combat section of the Player's Handbook under Weather in the Movement and Position section. Any Save Difficulty mentioned in a technique, whether Fortitude or Will is based off of 10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will.
Limit: Must learn for Wind Release NinJutsu.
It was a beautiful spring Afternoon outside, birds where up and about singing their merry melodies while children would play on the streets without a care in the world, children no younger then Kuro himself no less, their realities trul where very different, while they would play, Kuro would be indoors, studying about the different types of Chakra natures, he was very skilled at Taijutsu for someone his age, not that it mattered much, his bloodline heritage allowed him to use it well even with little real skill through sheer strenth alone, but he was useless with Chakra, beyond the Academy Techniques which where useless in real combat, he couldnt even use it at all, despite spending so much time studying, he just couldnt grasp its concepts, he knew it was a very possible reality that he wasnt capable of using real Ninjutsu, but he just couldnt accept that, if he ever planned to even be promoted to Chunin he would have to learn it...somehow.
His eyes where starting to close, he was finding himself having a hard time paying attention to his textbook, let alone learning anything, with a sigh, he would simply allow his head to fall face first on his desk in dissapointment, the will to learn quickly leaving his body, but then he heard a voice, one he hadnt expected to hear "Hey Kuro, Im Home!" Just as his Father called from the first floor, the boy would immediately spring up from his seat, sprinting down the stairs and running into the living room, where Tamotsu would be.
"They let me off early today" The man said as he made himself a cup of Coffee, not bothering to even look at the boy "Yes, i see that, which means you can help me out, you said youd help me out the next time you had time...well now you have time" Tamotsu paused for a moment, this time looking at the boy as he spoke "Look, ill help you out next time ok? Promise" He said, still using his same tired voice and his same tired expression, but Kuro simply sighed "You already said that the last FIVE times, im not taking any shit from you again" Kuros tone carried with it a bit of annoyance, the man had come back from work, each time promising to help him with Ninjutsu, but he never did, he already had a lot to do, but if he wasnt going to help him out, then he shouldnt have made a promise.
Tamotsu glanced back at the boy from his coffee and sighed "Fine...fine, but just this once, and i dont even care if you dont learn anything, if you do, then good for you, but im not gonna bother to help you out twice" The man put his mug down, and searched through his pocket for a small piece of paper he kept with him at all times, looking at Kuro, he would hand him the piece of paper "Here, hold this, what i want you to do is try to concentrate as much Chakra as you can into that Piece of Paper, that will let me know what your affinity is, assuming your even able to use it that is" He said with a shrug as he waited for Kuro to do something, he honestly expected the kid to fail, he was great at Taijutsu and all, but Ninjutsu was hardly his thing, he had even flunked the Academy a few years because he couldnt perform the basic Ninjutsu, it was kind of sad to watch really.
Kuro watched as his father gave him the piece of paper, he wasnt sure how this would help him out with controlling chakra, he wondered if his father was just pulling his leg, it certainly wasnt very believable, but he didnt have any other options, and by now he was pretty much desperate anyways, so he simply took the piece of paper and sighed "This better not be another one of your lame Jokes" and with that, Kuro would concentrate all of his Chakra into the small piece of paper he held in his hand, if things went well, the paper would react accordingly to his Affinity for the Wind Release.
