He smiled at the waitress as he was served his steak, calmly placing it on the grill in the center of their table to let it cook. He watched her eat, glad she enjoyed his gift. He smirked at her teasing and shook his head "I've eaten more, but this might as well be a snack." he replied, taking a look at him, he didn't have much fat on him, just enough to look like he wasn't starving himself, but he was still all sorts of muscle power.
Then she asked about his thoughts on the others. He took a bit to reply, staring at his steak in thought. "They have different methods, and while I can appreciate their usefulness and reasoning... the djinn is a merciless killer for fun. The Succubus, and I don't mean that in a derogatory fashion, is exactly what the title implies. Lust is a powerful tool when used properly. I prefer working with her, at least she's subtle." he hadn't exactly formally met the others, just those two in particular. The rest he likely met in the academy and haven't amounted to much, or are still in school. Either way, he was the sole presence of hope as far as the civilians can expect from what he's seen.

"Ah... Zeki is... Spirited. I don't agree with his methods but he gets results I can't argue with." Krystal admitted pausing as she looked at the deep red flesh, her eyes darkening briefly as she remembered the night of the massacre. The waitress however snapped her out of her memory.
"Tara is my charge, shes a bit exuberant but she's good at what she does." the neko responded fond of the succubus for a couple reasons. She began to eat again thinking of the three of them until she finished and smiled.
"I think the three of you becoming a team would be a good thing for each of you. Maybe help Zeki understand subtlety and develop Tara's technique."

Danair nodded in agreement with the kage, though he had little to no cares for the murder of civilians. The demon was... well a demon, and yet he was more careful where he put his aggression than the djinn had. He would watch the Kage go into a trancelike state, she didn't seem to like what the topic of the djinn had taken her mind.
He continued cooking his steak, the more blood the more prone to disease, but he was careful in that he wouldn't make the thing too well done. Just because one is an eater of hardy and healthy food does not mean they lose their intuition in their cooking skills.
Her next statement was on the demoness, she seemed to be quite fond of the girl. Though Balthier had earlier said in front of him to the demoness that the kage was upset at her, this being none of the demon's business, he kept quiet about it and left that alone. If they were having simple quarrels, fine, regardless there's no need to mention anything about things that don't pertain to him.
She then made a comment of teaming the three of them up as a regular squad... this... was not met with excitement or enthusiasm. In fact, the three of them hardly worked together in their last mission, only to meet up after Danair had converted the recruitment cell to their side. Malice having plenty of information to give the village about the rebels on his own.
Regardless, the other two were torturing a captive for information, not that torture isn't sometimes necessary, but it's typically not the first thing to do during an interrogation. These two clearly weren't expert interrogators prior to this kage's claim to the proverbial throne. The demon had nothing to say on the topic, the kage will do what she wishes, what he does after her decisions are up to him.
His face was unchanged despite the very mild issue pertaining to her suggestion as he didn't care whether or not he joined them. They were allies, they wouldn't try to kill him... dealing with them will be problematic if they continue to be so overtly aggressive however. Nothing to worry about, they seem like the efficient sorts.
Though there was an oddness to her suggestion... She wanted him to help the djinn in understanding subtlety... and wanted him to help the demoness in her technique. How exactly he would assist the demoness was unclear, as well as what exactly was implied in her techniques. The djinn, however, didn't seem the type to care very much about what anyone tells him... much less a brutish being who he could most likely easily slaughter if he felt like it. Among the questions that were laid out based on her suggestion was the question on how they would help him... at all.
"Explain." he requested rather unsure of her comment.

"Well I figure he more people Zeki is around the less... Anti-people he will be. As for Tara she needs to learn more subtlety and better interrogation methods. I believe you need to be more social, you've shown me you can be and communication and coordination are what a squad is for. Cover each others weak points." Krystal explained in a long dialogue before picking up her glass and taking a drink quietly mulling over the group.

Since the vampire had left the djinn has been a bit... pensive at best. The demon didn't really think there was a cure to the ailment but he would have to respect the kage's wishes regardless. He wasn't exactly a 'team player', more often than not he would take care of the problem on his own in his own way, much like the last mission, rather than go along with the endeavors of the group. He understands he has his weaknesses and that traveling in groups is safer, but when it comes to objectives, he is content with getting it done and done effectively rather than draw things out like the others had in their torture of their captive.
Given his megalomania yet presence of mind, he has always considered himself an intelligent superior not a superior through lack of weakness. His body was a strong brute force that was meant to bring horror to the very cores of those unfortunate enough to become his enemy, not something he freely flaunts like he felt all powerful. It was why he keeps in mind the capabilities of his enemies while practicing on honing his own strengths, genjutsu users have clear advantages against him by nature, he knows this consciously, so traveling in packs makes sense.
His infernal heritage and demonic existence didn't taint his mind, his sins weren't enhanced, they were simply made more controllable, enhanced and made him aware of others sins. Pride does not control him, it just gives him the drive to further improve himself and achieve his goals. The same goes for Greed and Envy. Sloth is simply used to keep him relaxed while remaining diligent enough to keep himself aware of his surroundings as well as others. Sins are only deemed sins for their excess... that is the true sin, excess. Murder or the allowance of murder in the pursuit of any of those sins. Some may argue that is simply what the names to those sins mean, those that believe these sins are the necessity and primal instincts of everything that lives disagrees. The sins are natural concepts dictated by life out of the pursuit of progress. The desire to invent future technology came from pride, greed, lust, or sloth... and in the case of war, to state the obvious, wrath.
The four horsemen are unfortunate natural aspects of life that can be manipulated by the truly cruel, Pestilence, Death, War, Famine. There are some who believe Pestilence and Famine should be essentially combined to create Strife, but that would create a thin wall between Strife and War, the fourth horsemen being Fury which also makes little sense when looking at Strife again. However, the point being that life is dictated by these sins, it is only the cruelty and the true sin of excess that makes these natural human aspects into the horrors others believe them to be.
Danair is only worthy of Wrath for his control and usage of his anger, only worthy of Pride for his lofty goals, only worthy of Greed, Gluttony, and Lust for his desire of unequaled power, only worthy of Envy because he knows he could never truly achieve the heights he truly desires, and only worthy of Sloth for his inaction when others use their free will to defile another... viscerally or otherwise.
He has no real reason to deny the other's help, it is simply the issue of how they may help that he finds problematic. Free will regards oneself as free to do what they please under their own jurisdiction, not another's. So Danair lacks the interest in halting his allies' actions, but will do his own actions in kind manners first at the very least. Everyone is a sinner, the only difference in that regard between him and everyone else... is he bathes in his sins before his days begin and after his days end.

As Krystal finished she would stretch a bit lounging in her side of the booth content with food in her now. Her gaze shifted to the blonde for a moment before she sat up and slid out of the booth. "Mmm the snack was nice but I think I should be getting back soon."
"Thank you for the food." The neko spoke softly bowed her head to Danair waiting a moment for a reply if he gave one. Once their meeting was complete she would turn with a wave before heading back to the tower humming under her breath.

He nods "I think that's a mission failure on my part." he said with a chuckle, she wanted to get to know him but he didn't do anything besides walking with her and listening to her... and then feeding her. He wasn't a talker, he wasn't someone who does things just because. He acts, not pretends or plays parts, what he does is how he speaks.
"We should try lunch again, see if I can complete the mission then." he said calmly, he had no intentions of flirtation nor dating, but he fully intended on making sure she got to know him.
