Waru had taken a cozy spot on the sidelines planting herself on the ground in a side sitting posture. Her feet were pointed out towards her left side as she anchored her right arm to the ground to prop herself up on. She watched with wide eyes and a faint reminiscent smile as the two women talk amongst each other. She couldn’t help, but feel a connection between their passive-aggressive behavior. It reminded her of her own squabbles with her deranged brother. Normally when they found themselves at odd ends they would normally result in passive-aggressive arguments such as this. Except there, blades would clash as blood was spilled. Still, despite there disagreements they cared for one another as siblings should. This sudden emotion brightened her face as she genuinely laughed at the two in silent.
Suddenly her attention quickly focused on the snake by her side. Her gaze softened after remembering her brother allowing herself to escape the illusion she had placed up for the world to see. Her attention towards the creature seemed more mature than she originally displayed in the past. She smiled warmly at the creature as he slithered back to Valerys side. She briefly waved muttering ”Bye-bye.
With the creature gone, she resumed her status as a spectator listening to the final bits the two had to say. She watched a bit surprised by the form of affection Valerys displayed towards Set. Her face turned bashful as she covered her mouth in response. Her memories of her brother quickly scattered to the four winds as this is not the type of kinship she had thought the two originally shared. Waru tried desperately to disengage the connection these two had with her own sibling as her mind began to roam freely. Suddenly the voice within her mind abruptly appeared saying only one word, ”Duck”. Immediately her mind stop racing as another portal appeared before her launching a smaller size book towards her. The tome collided into her forehead causing a yelp to escape her lips. Now on the floor wailing in pain as tears began to form once again. ”Ahhhh! Big sister why are the books only attacking me. What wrongs have I committed to offend literate?” This time tears were rolling down the side of her face, ”All I wanted was some ice cream.”
