On one side of the surprise things were jolly and loving. But on other side Dakuko's presence was holding a very chilling aura with dark moody after effects. Her personal grievances simply couldn't be held back. Dakuko by now was very intentionally staying quiet which should have been obvious. Only when Krystal picked her up, did she begin to react.
Struggling to break herself free of the strong Amazon's grip would be futile as she'd have to get unnecessarily violent to do anything. Which right now would be something she isn't excused of doing, but for a few reasons in particular she wouldn't do get rash like that. Being placed in front of her mother made her frown even more so. Not really pouting, but more so with even greater resentment.
Krystal's unfaltering acts of trying to convince Dakuko to play nice, mixed with the overly joyous look of things began to boil Dakuko's temper. Eventually Dakuko's silver eyes peered over by a side glance towards her mother. The woman's face was just so innocent and friendly. As if she didn't leave many years ago. As if...she deserves forgiveness. To Dakuko, Luna has defamated herself already to be worth redemption. And so that "motherly smile" she was stupidly wearing on her face needed correcting...
And so it happened... A very scarily loud clap echoed in the house seemingly out of nowhere. Kyokiko would not have been able to see what happened, but Krystal would have... As if in an instant, Dakuko's right hand raised in a very sudden movement. Without any warning Luna was slapped incredibly hard. Faster than the witch would be able to anticipate purely due to her not expecting her daughter to even do such a thing. Which would be obvious due to the stumbling and shocked effect that fell over Luna as she slipped out of Kyokiko's now weaker embrace.
The other twin that was embracing the assaulted woman, could only look back and face her sister with shock that kept her frozen with disbelief. Dakuko by now was breathing heavily with staggering anger, but even she too wasn't fully aware of what she did yet. Her hand simply was engulfed in a black aura, which now noticeably left a harsh hand print mark on the left side of Luna's face. The hatred in Dakuko's eyes could be seen by the two and that hatred ripped Luna's sensitive heart right out metaphorically. All to the point that a seemingly world class witch was left...speechless. Her left hand just feeling the intense sting on her face in disbelief as well.
