If the result of the check beats a Difficult Roll +5 per Resonance Point, the user adds +5 per Resonance Score as untyped Damage to their Damage within the Attack. If the Check succeeds the user gains a +1 bonus to Ability Drain and Damage effects for 1 round. When using this technique, the user may chose to forgo the full bonus of their Resonance Score and instead use a reduced score. This changes the difficulty and the bonus to Damage accordingly. If the user has the technique Soul Tuning in addition to this Technique, the user may use this ability to Aid Another creature or any creature within the Range of Soul Tuning's Effect rather than just someone adjacent to the user.

Loki teleported herself and Hecate to a clearing after Hecate's murder of the Kage of Rain. Other than getting herself a pair of Sharigan eyes off the Kage's corpse, the trip was more or less a waste of time. She rubbed the back of her head as she walked away from Hecate,

"I came to kill some time, and watch something enjoyable. But that wasn't fun at all. So how about we play for awhile?" Loki said with a smile on her face. As she spook her Pipe Fox slithered out from her sleeve and began to float around her neck. She looked at the pitch black Pipe Fox, as it spoke to her mentally

"That's not a bad idea."

Loki said with a smile on her face. She looked up at the falling rain and then back over at Hecate. As she looked at Hecate, the pipe Fox transformed into a weapon. I looked like a saber that had a Dagger connected to the back of it's hilt. The two ends could be taken apart but where held together with a chain whip. Loki Held the Nex Weapon in Hand.

"How about you walk me in the faith today? We'll have ourselves a fight, I'll follow the doctrine of your Jashin during it? We'll fight with just the body of our bodies, and souls. I'll even restrict my weaponry to following your rule of 3."

Loki said as she waved the weapon in her hand around. It was three weapons made into one whole, much like he Scythe that Loki had made for Hecate. Loki Looked over at Hecae with a smile. Her soul resonating with Nex since she had Transformed. It had been awhile sense Loki had used Weapon Meister techniques and she would have to re-familiarize herself with them. Nex on the other hand had just gain a large sum of her past memories, and needed to flex out that knowledge.

This was a perfect time for the both of them to shake the rust off. Loki tilted her head to side, as her weapon began to glow and healing energy moved through her body. Her Sharigan stared over at Hecate and she chuckled,

"So how about dear sister? You wanna have some fun?"

Teleporting still took some getting used to.

Stumbling out of their quick port she turned lethargically with rubbed her eyes. That fight had been a bore-- save for the part when she got to worship. Oh the glory...

"A walk in the faith? Interesting." Bringing both legs together she set her heels in line and pointed her toes towards Loki, the scythe left to gravitate around her on it's axis. "You do know that once you begin to walk the path that not finishing it is a sin and thus punishable by death, yes? Just talking to a non-initiate about it is death." Folding one arm behind her back she offered the back of her hand to her Sister and stared her down with a pinched brow. "If you wish to give it a try just know I am obligated not to hold back once I see there is a fickle obligation to Jashin. Be on your guard, Sister."Fighting without her weapon felt off. Her arms folded, hands bare, open even though she did clutch a fist to her back- ready to explode with power.

"I saw a few things I wanted to try out anyways."

Description: A number of times per day equal to Impeccable Will, the user can send a Person's Soul Resonance back at them for them to use, at an amplified power level. This requires a movement, which triggers when someone uses the Soul Resonance Technique on the user. In response, the user provides them with a bonus the same way Soul Resonance works, except that instead of the normal benefit, they receive a bonus to their damage equal to the user's Resonance Score, and 6 Armour Points of untyped Damage equal to their Resonance Score. This bonus applies only to their next attack.
Limit: Must be a Mabuki. Must know Soul Resonance. Must know Soul Wavelength 15 Skill Points.

Loki started to humming to herself as she listened to Hecate talk about the rules of her faith. As she went on, Loki continued to hum, synchronizing herself with Nex. While Loki was humming loudly, Nex sent gentle waves of soul energy, to match the sound of Loki's humming. It had been a very long time since Loki had a Demon Weapon worth synchronizing with, and Nex was already starting to prove to be superior to the last one that she had paired with.

Loki kept humming the and then vibration of her soul merged with the vibrations of Nex. They were not nearly intune enough so she doubt that the two of them would be getting much out of this joining. At least for the time being. She smirked as Hecate finished speaking,

"We both know that me and Jashin are on the best terms. If I did fully join the faith, no doubt he'd ask me to sacrifice myself to prove my loyalty. I have to much left to do, to be slowed down by death. That includes looking after you."

Loki said with a smile as she twirled the blade in her hand and then pointed it at Hecate. Nex's thoughts flowed through her mind,

"It's good she's not using her scythe, I'm barely better than a store bought blade with the way our synchronizing is now."

Loki didn't respond, she just nodded her head in understand. The runes on the blade began to glow, as Loki started to hum once again. The vibration of her voice was filling with soul energy that moved through the weapon in her hand. Nex vibrated in respond, but that response was erratic at best, causing Loki's hand and arm to shake somewhat violently, as the two souls struggle to comprise.

"Just treat like any other Heathen in this fight, dear sister. I won't die easy."

The two of them came from different backgrounds and while their initial meeting hand been a touch rough- the love and relationship that had blossomed from it had been nothing short of a miracle. "Dying easy isn't the issue." She perked up, bending low at the knees in a kneel to warm up and get the blood flowing. "Staying dead is." She jumped in place a few times, several one to two meter jumps, the feeling of this stance very, very different but exciting!Planting a foot behind her for a moment Hecate took a running start, feet tear at the grime and mud of the grounds she'd just recently spilled and shot herself like a bullet.

Extending into a cartwheel flip she exploded out of her roll with a leaping forward kick, launching off of her back leg to catch the full momentum of her cartwheel. Basic, smooth, easy but the strength came from posture and position. This was good. Stronger enough to knock back.

Straight forward but powerful. It suited Hecate. Loki thought as she saw her sister jetting towards her through the air. Loki watched as she continued to build on the little synchronizing that the two had develop. The whole point of having a Demon Weapon was that it had a mind of it's own, it could move on it's own. This could be a double edged sword, if the two were not in sync, then it would be better using a normal weapon. Their souls needed to be in perfect harmony so that the two of them could feed off the other's actions. Loki let out a breath as she stepped backwards with her left foot.

As she moved her left foot backwards she could feel the pull of Nex. Loki tried to relay what she wanted to do into Nex's soul as she moved, and Nex was able to pick up a rough sense of what she wanted to do. The Blade in Loki's hand began to twist slightly. As it twisted on it's own, Loki began to twist it as well. The motion was faster than it would have been if Loki performed this on her own, but the motions where still a bit robotic, and not as fluid as she would have liked, there was still much work for them to do.

As the sword was twisted, Nex jutted out the dagger half of the weapon, and it snaked towards the ground, logging itself there. As the Dagger Came out, it revealed that that the two blades where connected by a chain. Loki moved in the opposite direction, and to move out of Hecate's rapid forward motion. Once she was out of the path of Hecate, she jumped forward to clothesline Hecate with the chain, using Hecate's own forward momentum. Just as the chain would connect, the dagger would dislodge itself from the ground, under Nex's will.

The Dagger from there attempted to wrap itself around Hecate, to bind her place, with the dagger flying harmless into Loki's hand, after encircling Hecate twice. This would have been one beautiful fluid motion, if the two of them were fully synced, but their was still much to be desired in their coordination, so their was still hick-ups in their motion. But it was better than either one thought they would be capable of so early.

Nex still felt that she was lagging behind more so than Loki. She'd have to pick up the pace of her reactions, if she was going to be more than just a burden to Loki in this pairing. Luckily she wouldn't need to keep up physically, she'd just have to improve the malleability of her soul.

The first spot is against the opponent's jaw capable of knocking the opponent upwards into the air equal to 5 meters per Class Level. Follow up techniques may be performed. Targets who fall beyond 10 meters take falling damage. The second spot is against an opponent's hand. The user may make a single disarm attempt against the target that does not provoke an opportunity attack. This technique does 2 + 9 Armour Points of bludgeoning Damage per Class Level.

Flung into a trap she knew well. Chains were goo at binding but they were pointless without a proper follow up. She let the chain pull her backward by the throat and landed hard on her right heel to spin around hard into yet another wrap of the chain in Loki's hand. This was for her to lead into a little half jump to feel how much freedom there was but not much. Conserving her soul for things a touch more appropriate like an actual kill, Hecate just pressured her with the constant barrage; Leaking into a standing high kick that she quickly transitioned into a low falling hell drop in any attempt to aim at the wrist and dislodge the weapon Loki kept in her hand.

Weird dagger. Weird chain. The binding of the weapon was going to get her arm snagged behind her back at this rate and that wasn't a situation she wanted to get caught in. Punches were going to start coming soon at this rate.

Loki's wrist was smacked by the kick delivered by Hecate. The Kick had enough power behind to disarm her. That was if this was a normal weapon. Loki's Wrist flung upwards into the air, but Nex would not allow herself to be dislodged from Loki's grip. It was a skill of the Demon Weapons Clasps Hand of Friendship. It made it impossible to disarm a Miester, from their Demon Weapon.

"Ow..."

Loki said flatly as she jumped into the air, to follow the motion the kick sent her wrist. As she went into a twisting flip, Her and Nex's souls reached peak synchronization. Loki thought it, and Nex was already taking action. As Loki went into her flip the chains were already, trying to grip hold of Hecate. Loki using the momentum of swung the chain around with her, attempting to scoop up Hecate in the process. Whether Hecate was entangled or not, she slammed down with the chain in front of her. All the while Nex quickly tighten the reigns of the chains.

Regardless or whether it would bind Hecate, or form a thicker structure for Loki to smash the ground in front of her with. The two were finally starting to Flow together.

The emotionless mutter earned Loki a quick little blurb of kisses and a smile. Treated just like a Heathen she said! The weapon though didn't leave her. Interesting.

Pondering that Hecate got snatched up she was already going to use that momentum on Loki for a vicious uplifting kick but she was already off the ground and the trajectory of the kick was taken entirely off course when she lifted her up, spun her in a roundabout way and sent her hurtling towards the ground in a meteorite like strike. Rounding the back of Loki she used that beautiful curse she'd gifted and twisted around to aim her opposite leg at the back of her head and send her crashing face first into the ground when sh ewas going to yank her-- what other thing would she have done? However Hecate misjudged the timing and the force of Loki's pull, whizzing right past her head and finding herself eating a lot more of the ground that she had intended . Knocked prone and on her hands and knees.

Description: Both Meister and Demon Weapon must have perfect Soul Wavelength (Very Difficult Meister Check. This technique creates a soul like weapon within the Demon Weapon user. Both the Meister and Demon Weapon must sacrifice a movement equal in Handseals of the Jutsu. The weapon itself grows 3 size categories larger in a brilliant light. The base damage of the weapon is also increased by 3 size categories, however the weight of the weapon does not change. The purpose of this technique is to make a single wave attack along an opponent with destructive power. The Damage of this technique is 5 Armour Points of unidentified Damage per Resonance Score point. This technique has a "Purifying" ability so it may go through Damage Reduction and Natural Armour of all Demons, and Outsiders. Against Evil creatures this technique does an additional 50% damage.
Limit: Must be a Mabuki. Must know Resonance Echo. Must know Soul Wavelength 50 Skill Points.

The chain recalled as the dagger and the saber in Loki's hand became one again. Loki looked at Hecate and giggled a little bit. As she giggled, she could feel Nex's soul calling out to hers. It seemed the little pipe fox wanted to try something a little more ambitious. Loki's Sharigan eyes narrowed just a bit as she thought this over. What Nex wanted to try was an advanced technique. Something that a Demon Weapon and Meister needed Years of time together to properly use. After thinking about, Loki smiled.

She was never one for simply reaching expectations, she much prefer to shatter them completely. The two of them let the power of the souls merge. As the process began the weapon in Loki's hand began to give off a gentle light. This light that was coming from the blade, became to form a barely visible outline around the blade. The blade looked as if it was growing in about a size, in relation to what it use to be. Loki scoffed a bit as this was not enough.

"So...your hand to hand seems a little lacking. Compared to your scythe work." Loki teased Hecate, as she debated on whether she should let her make the first move or not. Nex was busy feeding her power into the weapon. Loki had plenty of power and control, it was once again her that was holding the two of them back. She took her mind off the fight at hand, as she searched herself for the power that they would need to pull this technique off.

Not only would she need to focus more power, she would need to make sure that it was in line with Loki's frequency. Loki could feel Nex struggling and then said using their connection, "So figure it out as we go." Loki then without warning, twirled the blade around so that the dagger side was facing Hecate. The glow that was on the blades sides, began to move towards the dagger's end as well. As the light came out, the dagger burst out from the towards Hecate.

Even the chain itself was beginning to glow. Each part of the weapon was more dangerous than it was before. However, there was still much more for the two of them to unlock. Right now their was barely a faint glow. When all was said and done the weapon should change almost completely.

The user finishes the technique by performing a downward drop kick, sending the opponent to the ground. This part of the technique deals 14 Armour Points of bludgeoning damage per Class Level. By spending 1 point from their Spring Time of Youth pool as a weaving movement, a user may cause additional fall damage equal to 6 per 10 meters due to the force of the attack.

"Well the scythe was a gift that took learning. I guess getting close and personal with someone other than Jashin will take some learning too."

Up and at 'em finally and on her feet, hands up, fists set, she wasn't much for letting the little potshots take her down but hitting Loki was harder than it usually looked. Like a loaded sprint she fired off from the ground after her and sped feet first like a diving missile, spiraling like a fired bullet and caught herself with a hand. The idea? Fire a kick hard enough to launch a full grown adult into the air with absolute ease and maybe even cause a bit of internal bruising just to boot.

It was throw without resolve and she was quite happy with how versatile the legwork was. Smooth. Fluid. The chains could hold her arms but as long as she had legs she could always be on the offense. The glowing blade harkened back to a curious moment she felt the distress of her clone. Struck with a strange weapon and cut off from the heavenly voice of Jashin. It was the first time she'd felt ice in her veins since. It couldn't be dislodged or kicked away but if she applied that unique kind of pressure then what were the chances of her getting a whole slash off too?

A rocket with a shoe attached whether she landed or not she blew through the motion, maybe an overshoot and pivoted at the hips in a withering roundhouse that had bad intentions behind it. The kick itself could cause a serious launch and if already airborne she could break a neck with the kind of force that could exert. She swung heel first and whether Loki's adoring face was there or not she threw it with the only amount of force that could make her happy.

Loki just watched as Hecate made her move towards her. Nex couldn't feel any desire for Loki to move at the moment, and became a little panic. Loki simply reached out to Nex with her soul, "Focus... the quicker you focus, the sooner you can stop me for getting hit." Loki smirked as she communicated to Nex through their communing souls at the moment. The glow in the weapon would bright for just a moment, just before Loki was struck by Hecate's kick and sent into the air. The Glow that was there began to fade away.

"Why is your focus dropping? I was the one hit." Loki snapped in her internal dialogue with Nex. As she was struck the damage that she suffered was already beginning to heal. Loki. As Loki was recovering as fast as she was injured, Nex was cursing silently to herself. It was easy for Loki to say that, but focusing on this, as well as the Hundred healing hands was not an easy thing. Nex refocused her herself, as Loki put her power back into the weapon.

The weapon began to Glow once again, as Loki was sent plummeting back towards the ground. The ground exploded with water and mud, and Loki laid there on the ground. Some of her bones clearly looked broken, but they soon snapped themselves back into place, and she turned her head to the side to spit out a mouth full of blood.

"That stung..."

Loki said as the weapon in her hand exploded with power. Nex's and Loki's soul were finally beginning to merge, and that power flowed into the weapon in her hand. A bright white golden light started to shine off the weapon, that light gave the blade the appearance of glowing at least 2 sizes. The light sprouted vicious barbs around its edges. The light quickly spread to the rest of the weapon. Starting with the chain that sprouted large spikes almost the size of swords themselves.

The light of the dagger had it grow nearly to the size of a broadsword. Loki was still laying on her back with a small on her face, blood still running down the side of her mouth. She started to Laugh,

"Let's see how long we can keep this going Nex."

The chain began to move on its on without Loki's interference. It moved through the air with the dagger on it's end like a vicious scorpion tail. The chain slash across the sky taking a massive spread, trying to cut Hecate in two diagonally if possible. The power of the slash would rend the trees in the area in half with it's follow through. Only after the slash from the whip was sent would Loki begin to get off the ground.

The way it felt to connect with solid blows was nothing like the scythe. The scythe cut clean. Bones didn't break they just slid into two like but around a hot knife. A rush to be so personal with the kill too, so empowering. This was strong iron but it was also a beast all on it's own and as she completed that last full revolution she hung there with the chains limp, falling down to Loki and her cratered form. Poor thing.

"You're got a little something--- Ehh, red is a good color on you anyways." There was something about the vibrancy of blood- that thick red that was just impossible to replicate no matter the makeup or the prosthetic. Keeping her form strong through the whole turn Hecate let the stretch on her muscles become memory. The full range of motion. This is what it is going to take for her to complete the move completely. Loki got a healthy chunk of the hit but not the full force of it. Not from a proper kick.

In the midst of analyzing the kick itself as a whole and what she'd need to do to maximize it next time she was caught clean in the midsection by the meaty portion of the blade, reaching out to grab one of the spike as it took her clean out of the air and into the nearest tree. Blood spilled like a broken spigot and she cleared her throat. Blood and mucus. "Good stuff right there." The wounds burned with regeneration but very slow, laborious. The damage reduction of her resilient skin was going to make another hit minimal if she could help it.

With her palm she struck this weapon thing and all it's sizable glory to unpin herself from the trunk of the tree, kicking it too like a hacky-sack and sending it skyrocketing if she could help it anyways. This thing was new to her. Loki and her strange toys. A smooth twist and flip; She rolled the sole of her foot along the flat of the blade and spike it with her heel to send it back to it's owner, catching one of those large spikes on the arch of her foot but the pain made her shiver in delight. "Freaky blade you've got there. Something new you cooked up?"

Loki floated up to her feet as she looked at the damage her pseudo completed weapon form could do. She was a bit disappointed, in it's completed form it should have been able to easily cleave Hecate in two, but this result was good enough for a first try. Loki smiled as the light of the weapon started to flicker in and out. The connection of weakening, but the only way change that, was more practice. The progress they had made so far was far beyond what she would have thought possible at the beginning of this little spar. Loki dusted her shoulders off, as Hecate kicked the dagger back towards her.

the dagger stopped it's flight well before he hit Loki, instead coiling itself around for Loki to easily grab with her hand. Bounced the blade on her shoulder and smiled.

"I'd like to take credit for this... but nope. Not my creation. This is something Jashin cooked up. Maybe they haven't taught you about it yet? Or maybe they just think you can't work well with others." Loki purred teasingly at Hecate. As she teased she was strengthening the connection between her and Nex as the light that made up the power of the weapon at the moment, began to stabilize. Loki the power solidified Loki continued her explanation.

"This is a living weapon, one made through multiple sacrifices. The target of the ritual makes a Pact with Jashin asking for further power as the blood and flesh from the sacrifices overtakes the body of the target. The subject dies and is ritually buried in hallowed ground. After the interment, the faithful invoke a prayer to Death asking him to bestow a power of weapon and steel. At the conclusion of the ritual the subject is unburied as life is restored. And they gain the ability to turn into this..."

Loki held up Nex, as the light of the weapon began to not only solidify but increase in power as the seconds ticked by. Nex was becoming more confident, and Loki was becoming more relaxed, as she didn't have to carry the bulk of the load anymore.

"Living weapons of death, Demon Weapons. They are bonded to a partner that can wield them, a Weapon Miester. I've been a Meister for awhile... and finally found myself a demon weapon worth using. Demon Weapons can turn into any weapon they can imagine... you want one? "

Loki asked with a smirk as she licked her lips. She herself didn't understand all the details behind the ritual, but she had a basic understanding, based on her research and what she had been told by Nex herself. Loki then gripped the chain, and began to spin the dagger. All the while the bladed light around the weapon slowly grew.

As a "D" Class character this attack does +18 Armour Points of Damage. As a "C" Class character this attack does +36 Armour Points of Damage. As a "B" Class character this attack does +54 Armour Points of Damage. As an "A" Class character this attack does +72 Armour Points of Damage. As an "S" Class character this attack does +90 Armour Points of Damage.

Hecate inclined her head with the most incredulous of expressions? "Fucking what? The elders would never..." They would. To spite her surely. "Surly old relics.. They sully the oath. A pact should be between Jashin and his servant to collect on his behalf- not be wielded for the sake of another." The faith was small on purpose so what absolute sorcery is this? "Playing with all the wrong toys- that's how we got here in the first place."

Fires stoked.

Reading movements was a skill that took time.. To know the body, know anatomy and watching it closely. The flex of muscle and the snap of sinew. The coiling of the solar plexus. The expansion of the diaphragm for the expulsion of breath and the short kata of a blow landing. Hecate was the epitome of a physical specimen and she knew the working of the inner muscular system.

The way Loki stood all relaxed. Hecate mirrored this in her approach. Smooth. A calm before a storm. Her body language aloof but clearly a fire had been lit in her eyes. Things that should not be happening were beginning to stir in the world and Hecate had to wonder- was she commencing her mission to slow or maybe the numbers of the world were finally growing thin and true adversity lie ahead. Arms folded Hecate took another two to three shuffling steps and stood still. A port in a storm but not one any sane sailor would dare dock.

"I always dread the thoughts of the day I'd have to take you to Jashin, Loki. you seemed very adamant you had no intent but here you are wielding the extensions of himself. Tell me you're of the faith Loki. Tell me so I wont have to fold the thoughts over and over at night." Treat her like a heathen, she asked. No, requested. Getting around her, by her, through her was a matter of mirroring her body language. "I'd adore us doing His will together instead of against one another."

"Hmm, perhaps they do come from old teachings, that were lost or stolen. Maybe your elders felt it didn't stick close enough to the faith and they cast the teaching out. No faith, regardless of how devote they are, remains whole forever. I do not claim to know everything... not yet." Loki said an uncaring smile on her face. To her all religions, were valid, in some shape or form. They are clamored as the true religion, without taking into account that maybe other religions were just as true. Their world view was far to narrow.

This was a sentiment that was shared by Nex. She had been alive for centuries, and slept even longer in the embrace of a goddess. She did not doubt the existence of any god, having meet several true one in her life time. What she doubted were their believers. This share sentiment strengthened their bond the Light came into full bloom. The energy was no longer fluctuating, it remained stable as a rock. The power emitting off of it. It was in a form for cleaving through even the most sturdy of evil. Loki kept twirling the chain as the spikes of the chain grow another size.

The Same could be said for the blade and the dagger at the end of the chain. Nex's eyes could bee seen opening on the side of the blade as she stared over at Hecate.

"I'd never thought, the idea of someone sacrificing their body to Jashin, to become an instrument of death, would cause such a stir in you. Well, what's done is done." Loki said as she shrugged her shoulders. Hecate was always a ticking tomb bomb, there was no telling what would set her off. However, Loki wasn't one for walking on eggshells, especially if it was just to feed someone's delusions. Loki sighed as she listened to Hecate.

"I'll tell you honestly... but I don't know if it's the answer you want to here. I have nothing against Jashin. In fact I think he is pivotal to this world. Am I of the faith? In a sense. If the Mother Goddess is the Mother, then Jashin the God of Death, is the father. A good daughter honors both parents." Loki shrugged her shoulders and continued.

"I believe those elders have lost their way, with a bunch of rules that help nothing but feed their ego. If I want to bring death, why limit my ability to do so? One day I'm sure I will return to Jashin. All things die...eventually. But I'm not going anytime soon. I have too many things to do, including, as I said before, looking after you."

Loki then cracked her neck.

"Whether you expect that answer is up to you. Answer me with your fist, dear sister." Loki, then widened the swing of her Weapon, and once again, delivered a powerful slashing attack with the chain. However, she didn't stop with the single attack. She unleashed a barrage, of 7 whip slashes towards Hecate. Each one had the power to leave meters deep gashes in the ground.
