The Villa
Just off of the rivers bend, this compound nestled in a valley between several small hills that have the ideal growing temperature for grapes. This region is well known for its wines and the evidence of that populates the hills. Rows and rows of grapes incrementally stacked upon one another, across every hill in the valley. The smell of ripening grapes fill the air as gentle temperate winds wafted the pungent aroma through the valley. Each villa prides themselves on their unique wines and aging habits to give it their own distinct brand. One such villa is this one. While Wolf Winery Recently purchased by new owners the villa has continued their operations in a similar fashion as they have for hundreds of years. However, their new proprietor preferring his discretion has made recent changes In a 3 kilometer radius around the entire vineyard the entire surrounding countryside is now littered with spring razor traps, mines, motion detectors, cameras and of course audio bugs to give the villa clear warning should anyone approach.
Set at the bottom of these hills the compound to the untrained eye appears just as aesthetic as the rest of the villas in the surrounding countrysides. But from a tactical perspective all of the windows of the villa were oriented in such a way where snipers wouldn't be able to get a clear line of sight into the building unless they were further down in the valley as opposed to above in the smaller vignettes. The house itself was layered with heavy set stone to help resist from the seasonal temperature. But on the inside of the stone the walls themselves have been reinforced with heavy steel that has been packed and lined with salt.
The glass on all the windows has been reinforced with a hardened salt-crystal that can withstand serious impact and explosives in the event of an attack. While all the houses including the servants have this protective measure implemented the safety features are most noticeable on the villa itself. Massive flood lights are directed outwards that can be flipped on in the event of an attack. Motion sensors discreetly hidden among the grape plants constantly track for movement that is registered to the villas security. Small high tech cameras cover every approach to the vineyard as well providing a clear line of site from multiple angles on approach. Even the thick walls of the building are lined with three layers of salt to prevent attacks from ghosts and incopreal beings.
In order to enter the vineyard villa itself one must enter through either the cobblestone road that enters through the north of the Villa or through the vineyards of the villa itself that surround the compound. The Vineyard has over 20 biome gardens all currently growing succulent grapes perpetually being turned and processed into wine. The gardens are constantly a hum of activity as garden workers checked and tended the vines as well as pulled the rich purple fruit from the plants. While the main road itself is normally unguarded the villa can activate hundreds of dormant mines located across the roadway.
The Outlaying buildings
The surrounding buildings were lived in by many of the workers of the villa. Despite the seemingly modest work everyone here takes great pride on the production of the wine. All of the workers were typically from generations of workers who's family consider the success of their winds as a continuation of a legacy. With that being said no expenses were spared for their families by the villa owners. The houses were rather spacious and adorned with long and fancy architecture with tall stone pillars and looking stone buttresses holding up some of the larger buildings. Fancy kitchens, dining halls and expensive decor are simple testaments to the prosperity of the villa.
There exists many small buildings that serve unique function to the villa proper itself. Massive forges both simple and elegant alike used for making master worked weapons and armor or even simple horse shoes. Bakeries, a small water mill, a tavern where the local workers themselves can meet and enjoy the fruits of their labor.
