4. Once satisfied with his ability to exorcise some degree of control over his Chakra, Alrik relaxed himself and focused on allowing the energy he had drawn towards his core to begin leaking and spreading throughout his Chakra network. However, the difficulty seemed to come once the Chakra attempted to leave Alrik’s limbs and spread into his limbs.

Unconsciously, Alrik seemed to be tightening and stressing his Tenketsu, which shut off the optimal flow of Chakra. Grimacing, instead of letting up, he continued forcing his Chakra to flow outwards while applying a gentle pressure to each bottleneck in his Chakra network. Like a stiffened muscles, he knew that all he needed was to force them to loosen.

5. It took quite a bit of time for Alrik to loosen his Tenketsu enough for his manipulated Chakra to flow into his limbs. However, once it did, the euphoric sensation of Chakra flowing into dried up Chakra channels and nodes filled his senses. It was a mere sliver of his former power. However, in only a day, a sliver of his former self had been regained from the abyss of Niflheim.

Grimace shifting to grin, Alrik pulled himself off the ground while steadying himself. He had been working so long on regaining control over his Chakra that he had already rested enough to regain control over his breathing. Calm and focused, he extended a hand over the deck of the ship, while focusing intently on some of the residual Chakra in his core.

6. Calling upon the mysterious blue energy, Alrik whispered intent into the Chakra through his mind’s connection with his Chakra network. Upon inscribing the Chakra with the necessary instructions to carry out his will, Alrik steadily channelled this manipulated Chakra out of his chest and into the Chakra pathways of his arm to allow it to flow naturally into his hand.

Alrik knew this process was complete the moment he felt a slight sensation of warmth in his palm and fingers. Being able to sense this alone was massive progress. It took quite a degree of Chakra control to be able to sense the various fluctuations of heat in his body to be able to determine where pure Chakra had pooled. It was a minute and difficult skill, which proved that a fragment of his former self still existed somewhere deep inside.

7. Focusing intently on this energy now contained within his palm, Alrik steadily opened the various external Tenketsu along his palm in order to allow the Chakra to escape from his body and releaser into the surroundings. The only issue was pressure. Where Alrik expected a bright beam of energy, instead all he got was a faint wafting of energy.

It seemed that while he could learn to control his Chakra as well as before at a frighteningly quickly pace, he still lacked the abundance that he once claimed. Grimacing, Alrik decided to apply a real world principle here. If there was simply too little Chakra in his body, then all he needed to do was focus it out of a singular Tenketsu point, rather than out multiple.

8. As Alrik’s Tenketsu around his palm began to seal, he felt a warm sensation pooling around the singular Tenketsu that he had purposely left open. As Chakra built up in this singular spot, he noted that pressure was being created from the way in which the tiny opening couldn’t keep up with the amount of Chakra flowing through it.

In an interesting display, Alrik watched as a pale beam of faint blue energy released from his palm. At least, through careful and precise manipulation of his Tenketsu, he seemed able to utilise his technique at range. This allowed him to even aim the beam of energy by tilting his palm at various angles, until the beam struck against the floorboards of the ship.

9. The only issue seemed to be that a singular beam of Chakra created only a very limited zone of influence to release his Genjutsu. Though he had range, the exact radius he could release his technique was limited. However, as with all things, Alrik’s past training revealed how to resolve this issue fairly easily via further manipulation of his various Tenketsu.

Rather than opening any further Tenketsu in his palm, this time Alrik began opening a pathway along his index finger. As the Chakra rushed out the existing opening, the Chakra also began to flow out this new pathway and out of Alrik’s index finger in the form of another beam. Grinning at the success, Alrik began creating four more pathways for his existing fingers and thumb.

10. Once the pathways were created, Alrik watched as the six beams of Chakra left his fingers and palm to strike against various areas of the floorboards in front of him. Having now covered a sufficient area with Chakra, Alrik focused purely on the technique itself, rather than the preparation by sending another set of mental commands into his stream of Chakra.

As Alrik did this, his eyes lit up a shade of something unnatural as the floorboards beneath him began to creak and rip away before collapsing into an endless hole on the deck of the ship. For a moment, he felt his own heartbeat skip at the sight of the black void ready to swallow his feet. However, fortifying himself mentally, Alrik calmed himself at the knowledge that this was nothing more than the product of a illusion.

"Dead man..."

The woman spoke with a voice of some authority despite her lack of it, landing on a wrecked ship abutting black-green waves as a blur of neon-lit chakra. So near to the training grounds she could hear and smell the effort of those practicing their various arts, and her gaze would find the pale genin, searching for a blade similar to that which she'd been given by Barbas.

"...the anti-gravitic ore blade. Now. Give it to me."

She pointed her finger at the man's chest, allowing its single blue nail to extend unnaturally, becoming something like a blade, shimmering blank force slowly enveloping the other palm still at her side. She would forego pleasantries and explanation, in fact, she hoped that the man would resist in confusion and give her an excuse for violence. The center of her forehead twitched, as if aching, as if beating in time with her artificial heartbeat. She focused on his movements, on the chakra he wielded like a novice, something like disgust rising in her but betrayed by a toothy grin.

“Dead man? Oh, you have no idea just how on point you are with that remark, my dear.” Alrik turned just in time for his lavender-blue iris to capture the sight of a whizzing Chakra oozing mass landing abruptly onto the deck of the shipwreck. “She’s strong.” Contemplating, his eyes jumped to the closest ship she must have leapt from to reach this abandoned wreckage, before jolting back onto her. It was a hefty distance that he could not have cleared as easily as her.

“Anti-who-wah? My dear, I am not of this realm. Your ores labelled with mortal tongue mean nothing to me.” Alrik tapped a marble-white finger against his chin in deep thought while taking a step backwards so that his spine rested against the rotted and dingy wooden railings of the abandoned ship. “Now, if you mean the Fullblade which was claimed from someone that failed to join the festivities on time… Then I may know which blade you are referring to.” Alrik rested both arms across the railings of the ship in an effort to make his tall and bulky frame appear as less threatening as possible.

“Fascinating.” He muttered as he watched an elongated nail inching towards his undefended chest. Despite the show of aggression, Alrik simply watched curiously with sharp eyes fixed upon the point of the woman’s blade as the railings behind him creaked under the weight of his muscle mass. For a moment, something sinister flashed in those otherwise mundane eyes of Alrik. However, whatever it was, it was a short-lived event. “Over there.” He said while pointing an index finger towards the third-most shipwreck towards his right. “I was hoping to use it as bait to attract someone strong, but you seem just a little too strong for my taste.” Alrik commented innocently, while sizing up the woman’s figure. He wondered why this woman was so desperate for the hefty weapon which he could barely lug around with both hands.

The weapon was clearly outside of her weight class. Still, he hadn't exactly grown attached to it during the short period that he had liberated it from the Mizukage's dust-ridden table. For that matter, it certainly wasn't worth losing his life over. “I would gladly fetch it for you – but that look in your eyes tells me you’ll be piercing both of my hearts if I move too abruptly. So then, shall we call it a truce and be on with our days? Or perhaps you can thank me by offering me a lesson or two in swordsmanship? The inhabitants of this realm fight so... Strangely.” He said, while eyeing the woman's feet before returning his gaze onto the bladed point brandished at his chest.

She followed the area where he pointed, indicating the resting place of the sword she sought out. The strangeness of his manner and words, their old world vibe, made her curious, however. She took careful steps towards him, allowing the Chakra Sword and her nail-blade to diminish in size, in time with each movement. Face-to-face, the twitching center of her forehead released unfolding skin, her Rinnegan blooming into light and catching his gaze.


"If it is a lesson you want, then it is a lesson you shall have."

Without taking up a movement, she withdrew the Fullblade that was a larger copy of the property she desired.

"Fetch the sword, pale corpse. Perhaps you will learn not to die."

Her voice was pure vexation, her Rinnegan spun, crashing into the man's mind, making her compulsion impossible for one so weak willed to resist. The Chakra Sword would dissipate into nothingness, her nail curling itself back into normality as its tip left his throat. She eyed the wound caused by the immaterial blade's piercing to see what sort of blood such an odd creature might leak, and held the antigravitic ore fullblade in her right hand with a lazy grip.

"If you have any limbs left when we are done, I will let you keep the sword. Otherwise, well...I am hungry..."

“Abandon negotiations. I fear she is unhinged.” Alrik thought to himself as his display of peace resulted in a unfortunate lightning-fast diagonal slash carving deeply yet somehow, not fatally into his marble-white chest. “H-Humanoid? How distasteful.” In a rare display, Alrik’s calm and playful façade shattered to reveal a face reeling in agony. However, the expression was not one of pain stemming from the gaping wound along his chest. Not even from his pierced left shoulder which trickled lines of deep red blood. The wound here was an emotional one. One resulting from being labelled as nothing more than a mere humanoid.

“Oh, how you wound me so, Nameless One.” He proclaimed with a wry expression, once again stemming from the emotional trauma the woman’s words carried. As much as it pained him to admit it, the woman was correct. Red blood alone was a sign that Alrik had lost most of his former greatness. Draugr did not bleed. Especially not red. To survive imprisonment, his body appeared to have reverted into more of a human-like state. That would need to change soon. Being weak and defenceless was bearable. However, to become a common human? The mere thought left a tinge of distaste in Alrik’s mouth.

“My, my. That’s new-” He attempted to say, as the woman’s forehead bloomed into a captivating spiralling pattern that he couldn’t quite seem to pull his gaze away from. For moments, it would appear as if Alrik was entranced. However, before the woman could continue her speech and utter her command, she would find the situation shifting away from her favour as the wooden floorboards beneath her feet and everywhere else on the deck of the dingy ship instantaneously disintegrated and collapsed into a massive endless black void that would suck her in if not able to resist gravity's whimsy. Distance had kept her safe till this point. However, walking towards Alrik had been her undoing.

“How very human of you.” He mustered the single retort in his mind while using what little control he had over his body to simply lean backwards. Having been swallowed by damp and moss, the already creaky railings behind Alrik simply snapped under his respectable weight and hefty body mass, which sent the Draugr hurtling over the edge of the ship and into the mossy green waters below. Swimming with an injured shoulder would be difficult [Swim Good: 125 SP]. However, with the moss, algae and other mysterious substances tinting the water a deep shade of green, diving a meter or two below surface level would hopefully be enough to hide his body from view even if the woman eventually managed to escape the mouth of the endless pit that had swallowed her with its vertigo-inducing after effects.

Description: A Mind-Affecting Technique. Affects anyone who interacts with the pit. The user is able to perform this technique at a distance of 30 meters plus 15 meters per class level. The duration of this technique lasts for 5 rounds per class level. This technique may be disbelieved once interacted with. User creates an illusory pit that's 15 meters cubed per class level. Each creature entering or within the area is forced to make a save or believe the floor on which they stand has become a bottomless chasm. On a successful save, opponents suffer a mild case of vertigo and are stunned for 1 round. Those who fail the save fall prone and are unable to take any action except claw desperately at the floor in the hopes of stopping their apparent fall. An attack on an affected creature frees them from the effect of the illusion but leaves them stunned for 1 round. Likewise when the Jutsu ends, opponents that believed they were falling are stunned for 1 round. Flying creatures passing over the illusory pit that makes the save are unaffected by the Jutsu, but those that fail are stunned for 1 round.

“How very-” Alrik’s thought was cut off abruptly as the falling sensation in his mind gave way to a far harsher reality. Grimacing, his feet slammed onto the ground as his mind snapped back into reality. His visions of a lucky escape had been… Just that. Nothing more than a falsehood. A dream. “W-What!?” He stuttered as his eyes darted back and forth between the ground and his menacing foe that now had her hands clamped around his. He hadn’t moved from his original position at all. Had he been caught up in his own illusion? An aftermath of the residual Figment Chakra circulating throughout his system? How amateurish.

“Well then…” He said while mentally cursing. “…How about-” Before a bargain could be struck, the spiralling pattern of the woman’s forehead eye seemed to cleave what little grasp Alrik had over reality away. Before his very own eyes, he found his body betraying him as he stiffly slid past the woman and clumsily leapt towards the left most shipwreck – a different direction to where he had claimed the sword to be. Landing with a thud, he felt his consciousness drowning under a sea of noise, as his body shakily walked towards the far end of the ship to retrieve the woman’s prized weapon.

“How pitiful…” The single thought was all he could muster, as he felt himself become a prisoner of his own body and mind. Betrayed by his own hubris, he felt himself clutching the hefty weapon with both hands, before a running start would allow a sufficient enough leap to make it back onto the ship the woman stood waiting upon. Stepping towards her figure slowly, he managed just about enough control to regain command over his Chakra network, which began steadily eliminating the residual Chakra of his former Genjutsu, while attempting to also identify whatever foreign Chakra the woman had infected his Chakra network with.

A boy only wearing black shorts that stopped slightly above his knees would go soaring through the air. His long hair tied into a bun with his mist headband, as well as being mostly covered with algae like the rest of his body. Landing back first onto the deck, sounding a big thud 10 meters behind Shango. He coughed a couple of times, ultimately, coughing out a dead fish "Another Failure huh?" He said to himself as he noticed two other chakra signatures behind him. Touka stood up from the ground and dusted most off the algae off his hair and body "What's with this training ground, the one I used was much more pleasurable" He muttered.

After a few seconds of playing around, he would slowly turn, immediately seeing Alrik in the air and a woman with the same height as him on the ground. With his eyes looking up into the sky he put his hand into the water and picked up his floating katana, the sword was completely covered by his all-black sheath, the only thing that could be seen was his blue and black hilt. Touka yawned as he decided to take a break from the unknown exercise he was doing in the water, no questions needed to be asked on his arrival, or what on earth he was doing to end up coughing out a dead fish.

Touka sat and leaned on the outer part of the ship, with his sword in his left hand he watched the two, as Alrik landed and moved his shaking body towards the blue-haired woman, his eyes widened at the sight of the fullblade that he suggested Alrik to take, the kid took a good guess and assumed she was here to take back her sword and kill Alrik for treason against her, poor chap.

1. “Ah… A witness to my incompetence.” Alrik thought to himself as the muscles in his body forcibly stiffened to extend his arms out, as if presenting the fullblade as an offering to the strange woman. Despite a prisoner of his own body, Alrik managed to pry just about enough mental control back to shift his eyes towards the sound of the thud. Unfortunately, unable to move his neck, the outline of the newcomer would only hazily appear in the corner of Alrik’s vision. Despite this figure appearing directly behind the woman, somehow, he still seemed unable to avert his gaze anywhere away from the woman’s mesmerising eye, which seemed to blur and distort all other details in his field of vision.

“Ah… Kimono.” He managed to say, with a surprising amount of control regained over his lips and mouth. Though still unable to move or pull his gaze away from the woman’s third eye, he couldn’t help but almost instinctively recognise Touka’s voice. “I was under the assumption that this particular portion of the training grounds was abandoned, and rarely saw visitors. Evidently, that could not have been further from the truth.” Frozen in place like a statue, Alrik grit his teeth at the end of his sentence just as his forearms began to quiver under the weight of the fullblade. “Well then my lady, or whatever you wish to be referred to as. Your wish has been my command. May I be freed from this… prison? Several eternities worth of banishment has left a sour taste on my tongue. I would prefer not to be a captive of my own fleshy prison for a moment longer.” He asked feebly, as his muscles began to strain and burn as upkeep for simply holding the fullblade up in the air for the woman to take.

After telling Alrik his name, it seemed like the man had still preferred to call the child "Kimono" or he had simply forgotten. Touka was about to lose focus on what was going on until the man's voice rang into his ear again. For some reason he still had the disturbing thought that Alrik was going to be killed by this woman, he usually wouldn't bother but this man could be useful to him in the future, so maybe his death wasn't very suitable at this time. He stood up, bit onto his own sword and then performed a body flicker around the right side of the woman's body grabbing the sword with both of his hands, for just a second he stood in front of the woman, though she still towered over him.

He used his short height to his advantage to buy him time, holding a blade like this for too long would tear his muscles, with only shorts on, it was evident that he lacked much strength. Grabbing the sword with both hands, he leapt into the air and towards his right, landing on another ship to his right. He used his shoulder as support for the blade, with his hands still holding on, he simply stuck his tongue out over the blade that sat just underneath his front row of teeth and made a mocking sound towards Shango, before looking towards Alrik and hoping he got the idea.
