• Transformation
  Rank: "D"
  Skill: NinJutsu
  Effect: Using this technique, the user assumes the form of a creature of same size category as he is or smaller.
  Special: Handseals

  Description: Range of this technique is personal. Duration of this technique is 50 minutes per Class Level. User may freely designate the specifics of his new form (such as height, weight, hair texture and color, skin tone, etc.). In this new form, the user keeps their armour points, saves, allegiance and special abilities, but they are adjusted accordingly as per the new Size category (if any change occured), and does not gain any of their new form's abilities other than its natural weapons and cannot change their voice. In this new form, the user can use all their abilities unless they use a limb or body part that they previously did not have in their original form. The user can create equipment, natural weapons or simply make it so that their new form carries the same equipment as they do, but cannot create something overly complicated or that uses Chakra (no mastercrafted objects, no advanced weaponry, exploding tags, summoning scrolls, etc); any part of the body or piece of equipment that is separated from the whole reverts to its true form. The user cannot use any technique of any type unless their form allows them to, but is still capable of speech even if their new form would not usually be. Even in their new form, the user retains their own creature type and does not gain any immunities they would with another. The new form cannot be smaller than Tiny and the user gains a +25 bonus to Disguise checks per Class Level (maximum +75) if the user uses the technique to disguise into another creature. The new form will not provide warmth if they are not clothed. The user can also use Transformation to transform into an object of their size category or smaller, but that is no smaller than Tiny. The user cannot transform into advanced weaponry or mastercrafted weapons, nor can they replicate the effects of an object crafted. The user may use Transformation to transform their clones. The range of the technique in this case is 7 meters + 6 meters per Class Level and affects any clones at the user's discretion within that range. When the a transformed creature is hit while maintaining a transformation, it must succeed a Will Save check (10 + 1/2 Damage dealt) or see the technique abruptly end. A creature that interacts with or intently observes the transformed creature may make an Observation check to recognize it as transformed, but will not be able to determine what the true form of the creature or the user is. Creatures that can See Chakra or See Through Chakra can make an Observation check to notice chakra moving in an odd pattern around the user, which will in turn allow the creature to make a Chakra Lore check (Difficult Difficulty) to identify the pattern as a result of Transformation.

  Effect: This extraordinary special quality allows a creature to detect approaching enemies, sniff out hidden foes, and track by sense of smell.

  Description: The creature can detect opponents within 10-meters by sense of smell. If the opponent is upwind, the range increases to 20-meters; if downwind, it drops to 5-meters. Strong scents, such as smoke or rotting garbage, can be detected at x2 the ranges noted above. Overpowering scents, such as skunk musk, can be detected at x3 normal range. When a creature detects a scent, the exact location of the source is not revealed—only its presence somewhere within range. The creature can take a movement to note the direction of the scent. Whenever the creature comes within 2-meters of the source, the creature pinpoints the source’s location. When finding Herbs and Animals (random), Scent may improve searching for them (must have Scent of object previously before searching). Learning "D" Rank allows the user to search for Common things, while "S" for Nearly Impossible. Each rank user learns increases chance of finding by 2% for the Rank of Herb, and increases per Rank thereafter. Example: At "S" Rank User gains 10% increase chance in finding Common Herbs and Animals but only 2% Increase for Nearly Impossible Herbs and Animals.

The user can have several Craft Skills each with their own levels of Mastery. This skill permits an individual to engage in a specific fabrication trade such as armourer, bowyer, locksmith, etc. A Craft skill is specifically focused on creating something. There are some guidelines when creating an item. Figure out what item you wish to create. Calculate 1/3 of item's cost. Write a crafting post equal to a Search Creature/Plant post. If a staff member is satisfied with the post a Craft check will be rolled. The staff member will roll a 1d100.   Description: This technique does not count against the user's Release Training Points. Wood Release is a nature transformation combination release of Earth and Water. At its simplest, Wood Release allows the user to create wood essentially converting their chakra into a source of life before, at its greatest, becoming mighty trees of various size and shape. The vegetation can sprout from the user's body, or grow from the surroundings. Wooden constructs can also be created, ranging in complexity from cages to complete houses. It is not necessary that the created wood take any identifiable form, allowing users to focus on its inherent pliability to ensnare targets or its durability for brute force attacks. Wood Release can produce very detailed, ornate constructs. Some Wood Techniques come in 4 Density of Vegetation Effects, which interfere with ranged attacks, or impose penalties on movement. Density of Vegetation Effects are described in the Adventuring section of the Player's Handbook under Density of Vegetation in the Terrain section. Any Save Difficulty mentioned in a technique, whether Fortitude or Will is based off of 10 + 2 per Class Level + Impeccable Will.   Description: Range of this technique is personal. Duration of this technique is 5 rounds per Class Level. User creates an aura of blue mist that protects the user against fire, absorbing the first 12 Armour Points of fire damage. In addition the Jutsu can be used to snuff out fires. Any non-Chakra flames that the aura contacts is immediately extinguished if the flame's maximum damage is 12 or fewer points per round. This means that torches, small fires, and hurled explosives are snuffed out and cause no damage if used against the user or if the user touches those (first 12 Armour Points of Damage).

  Description: Range of this technique is touch. Target of this technique is a piece of wood no larger than 3 meter cube + 2 meter cube per Class Level. Duration of this technique is Instantaneous. Wood shape enables the user to form one existing piece of wood into any shape that suits their purpose. For example, the user can makes a wooden weapon, fashion a special trapdoor, or sculpt a crude idol. This Jutsu also permits the user to reshape a wood door to make an exit where one didn't exist or to seal a door shut. While it is possible to make crude coffers, doors, and so forth, fine detail is not possible. There is a 30% chance that any shape that includes moving parts simply doesn't work.

• Blow Gun

  Effect: User creates a blow gun capable of releasing thorns to deal damage and even carry poison.

  Description: Range of this technique is touch. Effect is a blowgun 3 feet long. Duration of this technique is 5 minutes per Class Level. User creates a small tube made out of wood about 3 feet long that the user can use to fire thorns. The blowgun has a hardness 5 with 15 armour points. The blow gun has 15 thorns inside ready to be used. Releasing a thorn takes a move movement, and has a range of 30 meters. The thorns deal 2 Armour Points of piercing damage +1 per Class Level. A user may fabricate a compartment to allow poison to be poured onto the thorns. 1 Thorn may carry 1 dose of a specific type of poison.
  Limit: Must know Wood Release. Must know Wood Shape.
  
• Plant Growth

  Effect: User can either overgrowth or enrich growth of plants.

  Description: Range and area of this technique is dependent on the technique. Duration of this technique is instantaneous. Plant growth has different effects depending on the version chosen.
  
  • Overgrowth: This effect causes normal vegetation (grasses, briars, bushes, creepers, thistles, trees, vines, and so on) within 120 meters + 60 meters per Class Level to become thick and overgrown. The plants entwine to form a thicket or jungle that creatures must hack or force a way through. Movements drops to 1/2, or 3/4 for Large or larger creatures. The area must have brush and trees in it for this Jutsu to take effect. If this Jutsu is performed on an area that is already affected by any Jutsu or effect that enhances plants, such as entangle or wall of thorns, any Difficulty involved with these Jutsus is increased by 4. This bonus is granted for 1 day after the performing of plant growth. At the user's option, the area can be a 30-meter-radius circle, a 45-meter-radius semicircle, or a 60-meter-radius quarter circle. User may designate places within the area that are not affected.
    
  • Enrichment: This effect targets plants within a range of a half-mile, raising their potential productivity over the course of the next year to one-third above normal. Plant growth counters diminish plants.
  This Jutsu has no effect on plant creatures.

  Effect: User creates pillars of wood to forcibly suppress a target's chakra.

  Description: Range of this technique is 7 meters + 6 meters per Class Level. Area of effect is 20-meter-diameter. Duration of this technique is concentration equal to 5 rounds per Class Level. User creates 10 large pillars of wood around a target. Each pillar is the size of Large. This technique is used to suppress a target's chakra. A stream of chakra shoots from the user's hand and attaches to the target. The target must make a Will save or be compelled to be put in prone position. This technique can be used to stop Chakra Gates, Transformation, Rage, and other Chakra techniques used to enhance or dehance the target by suppressing the target's Chakra. While this technique is performed the target is unable to perform any Jutsus, nor move. Each round the target may make a new Will Save.
  Limit: Must know Wood Release. Must know Plant Growth.

  Description: Range of this technique is 30 meters + 15 meters per Class Level. User creates an anchored plane of wood up to 15 meter square per Class Level, or spherical of wood with the radius of up to 7 meters per Class Level. Duration of this technique is 5 minutes per Class Level. This Jutsu creates an anchored plane of wood or a sphere of wood, depending on the version selected. A wall of wood cannot form in an area occupied by physical objects or creatures. Its surface must be smooth and unbroken when created. Fire, including a fireball Jutsu and Fire breath, can burn a wall of wood, and it deals full damage to the wall. Suddenly burning a wall of wood creates a great cloud of ash that lasts for 10 minutes.
  
  • Wood Plane: A sheet of strong, hard wood appears. The wall is 5 inches thick per Class Level. The plane can be oriented in any fashion as long as it is anchored. A vertical wall need only be anchored on the floor, while a horizontal or slanting wall must be anchored on two opposite sides. The wall is primarily defensive in nature and is used to stop pursuers from following the user and the like. Each 3-meter square of wall has 10 Armour Points per inch of thickness. A section of wall whose Armour Points drop to 0 is breached.
    
  • Sphere: The hemisphere is as hard to break through as the wood plane form, but it does not deal damage to those who go through a breach.

This growth is also fast enough that it can capture targets before they have a chance to escape. Targets hit by the trees will take equal damage as defenses. User can create trees up to large size. The density of the trees is dependent on the user's Class Level ("Dense" Density Maximum). Starting at "C" Class the Density is "sparse", while at "A" Class the Density is "Dense". 1 Large tree is created every 8 meters at Sparse, 1 Large tree is created every 4 meters at Normal, and 1 Large tree is created every 2 meters at Dense. Each tree has a hardness of 4 with 80 Armour Points.

  • Blight Area: When the Jutsu is performed on a single normal plant, all normal plants in a 30-meter spread wither and die. Flowers wilt, leaves fall to the ground, and foliage withers. The Jutsu has no effect on the soil, so new growth can replace the dead plants. This effect allows no Save.
    
  • Blight Plant Creature: When performed on a single mobile or intelligent plant, such as a shambling mound or a treant, this Jutsu deals 15 Armour Points of damage per Class Level.

The paper can be used in extraordinary ways such as slicing through metals, creating animals to fight beside them, and even allow them to fly.

• Pēpā Tesabaki (Paper Manipulation)

  Effect: The beginning for any paper user. One must take the time to learn within this technique to gain access to more advanced paper techniques. With this technique the user will gain the knowledge to manipulate the form and actions of paper. The higher one goes into this technique, the more advanced their paper creations are.

  Drawback: This is not a technique but an understanding. Without this, one cannot hope to utilize paper. This technique only grants minimal control over paper in their radius. Paper only being manipulated with this technique cannot be used as an offensive strike and lacks the chakra to be imbued with Paper Strength.
  Description: There are 3 ranks to paper manipulation. Each rank has its own name and variation but each form allows a user access to more advanced capabilities.
  
  • Paper Adept - "C" Rank - This is the basic paper manipulation where everyone must start. With this rank of knowledge a user can manipulate pieces of paper in a simple form within the range of tiny to small size. Simple forms range from weapons such as needles or basic rods. At this stage the user is capable of manipulating paper within a radius of ten meters.
    
  • Paper Origami - "B" Rank - This is the intermediate form of manipulation. Upon achieving this rank, ones creations receive an origami feel to its creation. Utilizing ones own chakra, a user is capable of creating paper objects or animals within the origami realm. At this rank, a user is capable of manipulating paper within the range of medium to large size. At this stage the user is capable of manipulating paper within a radius of thirty meters.
    
  • Paper Masha - "A" Rank - This is the final level of paper manipulation. One is capable of taking multiple pieces of paper to create something of almost life like value. With this, one is capable of creating things within the range of huge to Gargantuan size. When the user learns this rank, they are capable of manipulating paper within a fifty meter radius.
  Limit: Must have the Paper Release in order to learn this.

• Kami Goukyou (Paper Strength)
  Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S"
  Skill: NinJutsu
  Effect: A technique which utilizes one own chakra to strengthen their paper. The more one learns into this technique, the stronger one is able to make their paper.
  Special: ---
  Drawback: The user must learn each rank of Kami Goukyou (Paper Strength) in order to be capable of making the paper stronger. This works well except for techniques that deal with fire damage or water damage.
  Description: By combining ones own chakra within paper, they are capable of strengthening its form. The more attune one is with paper, the stronger it becomes. A vital step when attempting to draw out the full potential of ones paper. Note that no matter the rank of this technique, greatswords and other special weapons B rank and up are unable to be broken by the paper due to the unparalleled craftsmanship of the weapons.
  
  • When the user learns the D rank of this technique, they are capable of making their paper as strong as stone. At this stage, they are capable of cutting flesh.
    
  • When the user learns the C Rank version of this technique, they are capable of making their paper as strong as iron. At this stage they are capable of cutting through stone.
    
  • When the user learns the B Rank version of this technique, their paper is as strong as steel. At this stage they are capable of cutting through iron.

• The Mighty Wire

  Effect: Increase the number of objects user can capture/tangle, as well as the weight, and the character class for strength checks. This will also increase slashing, piercing or bludgeoning damage done.
  Special: --
  Drawback: --
  Description: An instructor in the Demon Weaver Dojo will have a student perform certain chores within a Dojo. These chores are focused on preparing a student for certain aspects of muscle and dexterity training. The focus is generally to increase their Arm, Hand, and Finger strength. This in turn will produce the correct muscle set needed for the Demon Weaver fighting style. When it comes to slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage done, the rank of damage is equal to rank learned in this technique for any Demon Weaver fighting style techniques. Once B rank is learned if the damage overcomes a defense then the object is severed, or pierced. At S rank items destruction is applied and weapons can be pierced or severed. In Terms of Strength Check, their character class increases by .2 at each rank of this technique to a maximum of one full class level. In terms of Capturing/Tangling objects and weights:
  
  • D = 5 objects which have a combined weight of 100 pounds.

  Description: If an object is tangled or captured the user flicks their hands and twiddles their fingers in rapid succession to create loops and waves in their Wires to untangle, or un-capture an object. The Wires if chosen to, the user can be retrieved even if tangled up around any object. This is required to learn to retrieve Wire, once released from the users arms. At C rank user can retrieve any amount of Wire, as well as untangle 1 object. Every C rank learned after that user can untangle an additional object at the same time, up to the amount of objects that the user is able to tangle up. At B rank user can un-capture 1 object. Each Additional B rank lets user un-capture 1 more object at the same time up to the amount of objects the user is able to capture.

  Description: The user has their feet shoulder width apart, their torso slightly bent forward, their arms behind their back, wrists held at the small of their back, and hands curled toward their arms. At B rank user can have full mobility, including jumping, flipping, or even flying if applicable while performing Wires of the Demon Techniques. At S rank user can dodge while using Wires of the Demon Techniques, which converts the Demon Weaver strikes into counter attacks.

  Description: The user whips their arm from around their back, their arm whips out and their Wire un-coils toward a target. The user can either pierce, or slash at their target, depending on how they strike out, such as a slashing motion or a lunging motion with their arm, hand, then finger. The damage is dependent on their knowledge of The Mighty Wire. A thrust create Piercing damage, and a Slash creates an arcing slash damage with the wire.

• Multi Wire Strike

  Effect: Strikes out multiple Wires at once.
  Special: Requires 1 meter of Wire for 1 meter of range, per finger.
  Drawback: Since aiming is a nightmare, with this technique alone, one cannot target specific things.
  Description: User is able to send out multiple Wires at once while aiming them at one target. They can either do this with the use of Wires tied off onto one hand or throw both their hands out at once. Each finger controls one strike of this multi strike technique, since each finger can have a number of strings tied onto it but only produce so much power with one finger (One Wire strike per finger). Each time learned user can use an additional Wire on a hand. User can only learn this for the number of fingers they have. If the user has more than two arms they can learn this for the extra arms. No arms that are not a part of the human anatomy can be used, such as wooden arms. The attacks burst out in a Cone of 30 degrees hitting targets indiscriminately.
  Limit: Must know Wire Strike.

  Effect: Strikes out multiple Wires at once at specific targets.

  Description: The Journeyman knows the tricks of the trade. The higher the price of an item, the faster they can craft due to these tricks. When crafting items an artisan must pay 1/3rd of an item's price for Raw Materials. For Crafting Time normally the artisan must calculate 1/3 of the item's cost.

  Description: The Craftsman can use their Craft Skill Faster. When a Crafting Roll is Performed for each Crafting Post, the user doubles the result of each Crafting Roll. For Example: User is trying to craft a sword. A Staff member rolls a 1d100 and rolls a 33. The User gains a 66 from this Roll. This can be applied to every Crafting Roll. This technique can be applied to Master of the Craft.

  Description: Reduce the cost of materials for crafting items by +1. (Example Material Cost is 1/3rd of Item Cost. This technique improves the need of materials by +1 making it 1/4 of Material Cost). User also gains a +10 to Crafting Time.
