It took them about fifteen minutes to find something, enough time for Fina to begin to understand how to correctly mold his chakra in order for the clones to appear properly. With a smile creeping over his face, he would abandon his training for now, happy he had reached a new chapter in his understanding of the shadow clones. Once ready to move out, he made his way over to the rest of his troop.
Identification of their former presence was left mainly via large, indenturing footsteps which dug deep into the ground. The moisture in the ground was almost null, making it obvious the chain-and-claw system of weaponry weighed them down a bit. While this appealed as a major weakness, Fina couldn’t help but feel the intimidation that arose from analyzing the imprint, and realizing the large physical power that would be granted by the extra heavy weapon.
Midst deep thought, alert that the enemy was found came via a small bird cry. The cry itself was identical to several of the birds heard through the region; the one that made the cry masked it perfectly, to the point Fina had to be tapped on the shoulder in order to be fully alerted. Then again, this ‘lack of awareness’ was suffered by the rest of the crew, since animal cries and stealth communication had not been covered in the camp, other than a skimmed topic that would be taught only to those inducted in the group. As a result, Fina did not feel as bad, and instead placed all focus on the task at hand.
However, before the cry died down, metal sang in the approachable distance, close enough to alert the troops that the battled ensued would soon involve them. Several other cries followed, these being faster and quicker than the previous ones. Judging from the captain’s sudden response, the cries were of distress. Every action their captain executed was followed by the troop as they took off towards the direction of the cries.
Zooming in past the incoming reinforcements, one will find three visible enemies, all chain totting shinobi with the trainees in their iron grasps. Unfortunately, this group was the main group, the leader of the other, smaller squads. It would only make sense the strongest would travel here, and it would also make sense that this group’s defeat would defuse the current situation. While the difference between facing the worst of all foes and being the one to stop the threat was being compared in his head, action was needed to be taken immediately.
