Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: If any, water thrown, instantly turns to a sebon-like form then on contact explodes.
Special: Handseals.
Drawback: If touched by yourself you will be exploded on.
Description: Once activated water that is falling, thrown, or created by the user in some way is instantly turned into a condensed sebon needle. Chakra compressed within the senbon pushes the water outward explosively when touched. If, the sebon is touched in any way it will explode on its contact. The damage from explosion is mild but if used in great quantity then the damage to the target is more severe.
Limit: Water release, some source of water.

A jutsu that could make water explode could turn out to be a dangerous idea for most people that were not shinobis. The female however, had begun to think of more...interesting ways to use this jutsu. ‘I could use it with my mizu kunai no jutsu and make water senbons from it. If I do that, my enemies will not suspect anything since they are senbons from before. But if I’m fighting against an Uchiha or a Hyuuga that has activated their bloodlimit, I’m in trouble’ thought Marii and looked at a small puddle.

Her small hand scooped up some rainwater; it was not much though, but it was enough for maybe two-three senbons. She looked at the small target, which was some twigs she had put in the earth a few meters away from her. The water was thrown in the air and her hands started to do the handseals as fast as her hands could allow her. “Suiton! Bakuretsu Mizu Ito!” said the girl and looked at the small water amount that she had thrown. It transformed from drops to senbons within the blink of an eye.

Three senbons had been formed and all of them were heading for the small twigs that were stuck in the soil. One senbon managed to cut halfway through the twig, one missed and the last one cut through the remaining twig. But the twig that had been cut in two was the thinnest one, so it was not much progress on this attempt. ‘I definitely have to work on my aim, especially since some of the Ryuugan jutsus will reduce my accuracy for a short while. Also, I have to make the senbons stronger and sharper’ thought the Chuunin and looked at the twig.

If that senbon had hit a real person, they would have got a small cut if their skin was exposed or if it was covered by a thin layer of clothing. But most ninjas, except those who were from Suna perhaps, would cover most of their skin in order to protect themselves from attacks, cold or bad weather. ‘According to the description, the condensation will push the water forwards in an explosive manner. Wait a minute, do not I have a water jutsu that requires water condensation from before!?’ thought the female. The picture of a shark that swum around in a swimming pool appeared slowly in her head, and she started to remember.

Since she had so incredibly many ninjutsus, it was sometimes hard for her to remember absolutely all of them. ‘Off course, the goshokuzame jutsu with the condensed shark! But this time, I am not training in a pool and everything is in a smaller scale. Should make it a little easier if I just remember the training I used back then’ thought the fake bluenette and made a small smile. She chuckled as her mind brought her thoughts to the days during the shinobi war when her cousins were training on bloodlimit jutsus to see who could become the best.

Her chakra however was on a completely different track; it had started to gather in the center of her body. It turned into a suiton affinity almost immidiately, but the girl did not understood why. Little did she knew that she was not far away from mastering this release in total, which meant that she did not needed any water source for her techniques at all...! As soon as the Cloud kid had gathered up enough chakra, she started on the handseals so the jutsu did not backfire in any manner. Her hands and fingers went in and out of the handseals a little faster this time; she was almost halfway now.

“Suiton! Bakuretsu Mizu Ito!” said the female before she scooped up some water from a nearby puddle and threw it towards the twigs again. She aimed for them as much as she could and hoped that it would help her. The water drops begun to glue together and became senbon needles within the blink of an eye and hit the twings. One of the needles missed barely while another managed to made a somewhat deep cut in the thickest twig. The middle twig however was cut in two like someone had cut it with a sharp kunai.

Skinny fingers picked up the remains of the twigs that had been cut up and a pair of ice blue eyes studied them a little closer. The cut was quite clean; there were a few irregularities there, but most of the cut was rather even. It was a good sign, since it meant that the sharpness had been increased a bit, but it was not perfect yet. ‘But again, I am barely halfway through my training. I have managed to form senbon needles while the water is mid-air and make decent cuts’ thought the female.

A normal human who had been a target for her needles would have got slightly deep cuts in their skin and it would have definitely cut through a sweater or a thin jacket of some sort. But she could not stop here; this jutsu would in the end be capable of cutting through thicker clothing and give exposed skin deep cuts. Marii inhaled some air while she started to focus her chakra to the center of her upper body. Chakra rushed there in the matter of seconds and begun its transformation. The whole process only took a second or so.

The reason? The girl had done ninjutsu so many times before that her chakra network had becomed almost automatized on these procedures. The Chuunin felt the chakra tickle inside her, which meant that it was time to form the handseals before the chakra disappeared. Fingers and palms laced in and out of the relatively easy combination before they locked on the last handseal. “Suiton! Bakuretsu Mizu Ito!” said the female and threw a handful of water towards the last twig standing.

Water drops gathered and turned into senbons so fast that the fake bluenette had a hard time to believe what she saw. Had she actually DONE that all by herself!? ‘I think I am underestimating myself sometimes’ thought the girl and felt a tiny smile appear on her face; she did not knew just how strong she was. KA-TSJIKK! KA-TSJAKK! KA-TSJIKK! The senbons had reached their target and exploded as soon as they made contacts with the wooden material.

Crystal spheres widened in shock and surprise when she saw just WHAT the senbons had done with the rather thick twig. She jogged over and picked up the remains; the twig had been cut in four parts! At closer inspection, the Cloud kid saw that the cuts were as clean as a kunai cut and all the needles had cut through without any problems. ‘What the...this is amazing! I suppose I can move on to branches now, but I have to find some I can use first’ thought the female and went into the small forest.

She saw a small tree that seemed to be chopped up by something; perhaps a fuuton or a weapon ninjutsu. Maybe even a strong taijutsu had sent the tree to the ground. Marii picked up a kunai and begun to cut away some medium and thick branches away from the tree and went back to her training area. She dug some small holes in the ground with her kunai and put the branches in them, one by one. The girl took a few steps back and looked at them.

‘I wonder if I can make senbons if I spray the water out of my mouth. If the jutsu can be used in combination with the sujiheki, I can make a lot of needles’ thought the Chuunin. When she imagined what happened, she felt a small, slightly scary and toothy grin make its way on her face. Meanwhile, she had started to make her chakra move inside her body. It was time to show the world what the small female could do with the water element!

Her inner had begin to count inwardly, which was a little amusing for her. ‘ONE...TWO...CHAKRA IS READY!!!’ said the little girl and hold up fingers with an enthusiastic look on her face. A set of blue eyes opened with a snap while the hands went through the handseals almost twice as fast as last time. It was a wonder that the fingers did not get into a knot, but this female had experience. Handseals were a second nature to ninjutsu specialists as well as masters, which was understandable.

She grabbed a bottle filled with water and filled her rather small mouth with as much water as possible. Then, the water was spit out and the chakra was released; it would only take a second before the liquid had turned into deadly weapons. Within no time, the water had transformed into the senbons that were now flying towards one of the branches that were planted in the soil. Upon contact, the senbons exploded and created an amusing and a decent result. Marii went a little closer to see what had happened with the branches she had planted there.

The first branch was neither too thick or too thin, and had been cutted up on the places where it was on the thinnest. The medium thick places were ALMOST cut in two while the thickest places had somewhat deep cuts in them. Had this been on a human, the needles would have cut through some thick clothing like flak jackets and winter clothing, but not touched the skin. But if it was thinner clothing like thick sweaters, the human would have a nasty cut on their skin by now. ‘I am definitely improving now, but it is not good enough yet’ thought the girl.

However, it would not be long until she had mastered the technique – and the suiton release – but she did not knew it yet. The Chuunin walked back to her spot and locked her eyes on the branch that had been sliced up a bit. She could do the technique again, but she had to aim on the places that were not damaged by the previous attack. Chakra ran through her system and became water affinity in a snap before it started to gather in the center of her body. Both hands were lifted in a slow manner, one of them holding a plastic bottle filled with water.

Water filled up a small human mouth before the bottle was put down on the ground again. Two hands raced through the handseals and water bursted out of the fake bluenettes mouth; it formed a sort of thick mist filled with a lot of water droplets. Suddenly, the water-mist formed into almost a dozen of deadly sharp senbons that flied towards the poor branch that could not move. KA-TSJIKK! KA-TSJIKK! Each needle made a deep cut into the branch, which made the attack even more dangerous.

After a few seconds, the somewhat damaged branch had now been reduced to a pile of chopped wood. The female looked quite surprised over what had happened; sure, she had expected some improvement, but this was almost too much! She jogged over to the wood, sat down on her knees and inspected all of the chopped pieces a bit closer. Two bony fingers picked up a wood splint for closer inspection. It was no doubt; the cut was so clean that one could think that it had been cut with a kunai.

‘Holy Kami-sama, this is amazing! The needles cut up the branches like it was made out of toilet paper and not solid wood. I just have to concentrate my chakra a little more and make sure that keep my focus on the general control. I am almost finished with my training anyways, so there are only some details left. Perhaps I should take a small break’ thought the fake bluenette and stretched herself a little.

TEN MINUTES LATER.

The female gulped down the last lemonade she had and decided to try on the thickest branch. It was almost ½ foot in diameter and was from a young tree that had very nice wood, judging from its shade. ‘Perhaps I should chop the branch in two. That way, I have enough wood for two more attempts. Judging from my previous results, I doubt I need anymore than that’ thought Marii. She was not cocky, she had just observed her previous results and figured out how much training that remained.

Some drizzle had started to descend from the gray clouds, but it did not bothered the girl that much. After all, she was the child of an Ame and a Kumo shinobi so bad weather was something she had grown up with and had in her blood. But now, it was time to bring it all together and do her best! Her eyes closed a little bit before she concentrated on the jutsu; she pictured water senbons explode when her chakra was activated on her command.

The Chuunin pictured the senbon cut through the thick wood like it was nothing, as well as making the cuts clean. Meanwhile, her chakra was almost ready for use; it just required some adjustments before it could be released in the jutsu. A left hand picked up a bottle filled with water, connected it with thulian pink lips and lifted the bottle a little. Water filled up her mouth, and when it was full, it was time to use the handseals and release the chakra. A familiar and somewhat cool sensation spread through her body; this meant that everything was ready.

The female raised both of her hands and started to unlock the familiar handseal combination so the jutsu could be released. Right after the last handseal had been done, she spewed out all the water that she had stored in her small mouth. Her aim was on the thick branch in front of her, and she hoped it would have a direct hit this time. As soon as the water had left her lips, it begun to transform into senbon needles. This amazed the fake bluenette a little, most because of the speed.

All the needles flied towards the wood like missiles; a sensible ninja had started to run or escape in some matter. You did not had to be a genius to tell that the needles were lethal and could cut through a lot of things like it was nothing. Then, the needles hit the wood and the chakra was released when the tip came in contact with the solid surface. One by one, the needles begun to explode and cut up the wood like extremely sharp weapons. The girl had a hard time to believe what she saw happening with the wood.

‘Holy Amaterasu-sama! I swear that this was the most solid piece of wood I could find from the trunk in the forest! Even a kunai would have a tough time to cut through the wood, and the water just do it without any problem at all. But again, I have trained on this jutsu for a while...this is one of the hardest suiton jutsus I have trained on. I better go over and see how the wood looks like now’ thought the Cloud kid.

She walked over and looked on the piece of wood – or what was left to be more precise. All that was left was a big pile of splinters, most of them in a size that ranged from 2 inches to ¼ of an inch in lenght and from almost nothing to 1 inch in width. Most of them looked to be toothpickers of some kind. ‘Hm...I think it is time to head home. Thank you Amegakure, for giving me inspiration to train on my Suiton jutsus’ thought the female and smiled.

Marii looked back at Zag. "Nice to meet you Zag-kun, but I am afraid I have to leave now. I hope we meet again" said the female and patted his shoulder before she disappeared in a puff of smoke. The vacation was over and it was time to go back to Kumogakure.

Zag managed to quickly wave bye before the kunoichi dissapeared, today had been a wierd day, suddenly the sky above him rumbled and a thunderous downpour rocketed onto every thing beneath the engorged clouds 'Oh there its goes.' mumbled Zag to no one, he opened an umbrella and walked off for someplace to just do nothing and not worry about doing another poxy mission for as long as he could help it.
