Checkpoint / Village Gates

Upon encountering a disturbing lack of resistance, the Leaf-Nin now found himself passing through the enormous gates of the leaf village. Un-tensing a tad, he none the less kept his concealed weaponry at the ready. The exiting Hyuuga continued to gaze about with his Byakugan as he passed through the gates, and endeavored to pass out into the land of fire.

(Assuming) the Cloud team made it through the gates unhindered, Jin was free of his worries. He no longer had to deal with the antsy Hyuuga quite so cautiously, because an attack would no longer result in an inter-village squabble.

Unfortunately, the Hyuuga had already walked out the gates, and was headed off into the distance, by the time the Cloud team was escorted away safely. A slight setback, but it could be dealt with quite easily. He would have to give chase.

Motioning with a few hand waves, the Jounin called over both of the allies who had been waiting in the forest. Okami, Jin's pet, would walk over immediately. The creature walked on two legs and moved as he had been trained- like a human. He was even dressed up with the same plain white cloak and mask that Jin wore, so that the pair would look similar as they moved together. It was best to keep an animal like that inconspicuous. If Kagetora joined in as well he would be a great asset to the investigation, due to his medical prowess.

With his small team gathered, both of the cloaked figures would head out through the gates into the Land of Fire. Okamu kept his nose open for the scent he was tracking, in case the target somehow managed to evade them. Along the way they passed by the Fire/Earth user who had been rejected by the diplomat.

"Don't worry about it. Some girls are just like that." He called out as he passed by at 11 meters, the closest he ever got to the man. Not on gate duty himself, Jin had no idea this man was an intruding foreigner.

Tieren watched the events unfold as the Anbu cast a Genjutsu on the group, making them invisible to all of those around them, or so he had hoped. Either it was a way to get them in undetected, or it was a way to prevent them from knowing the true location of the Leaf Village. Regardless of what it was, exactly, Tieren knew that it was for the best. He followed Kotomi, Raikenshi, and Oyushi, now on foot, rather then by air. He figured it best to do so, and wasn't sure if he would remove the invisibility on himself by taking to the skies.

Having recently captured the target, the Hyuuga headed back to the village. Most of those who had been waiting at the gates remained there still. Jin payed them little attention this time around. He carried his clan mate in his arms and passed through the gates.

An sarrowful sigh escaped the genin's lips. For 2 whole days he sat out infront of the gates waiting. There was no signs of Yukio this left some questions. Although he would not answer them now. For the mean time Terfezia wondered how would he tell everyone. As he took his steps back towards the village his mind raced. The only solution was to lie tell his teammates he killed Yukio. This would avoid the possibility of wasting time by looking for the girl.

With sure steps would I make way through the gates of Konoha within my newly fitted attire. My eyes swimming across the scenery as I passed, heh, soon I would be able to part this place the moment I pleased. It was a Goal thing - I would only continue.

Taking her leave again, she would say goodbye to the guards and take off using her cubes platform she just made. Hopefully she will not lose her way in the air like that.

Description: Every human is capable of learning types of herbs in regions found in the countries they are from. A user may only learn three regions before going into Animalist Specialist. The Regions a user may learn are regions they were brought up in which are the countries they are from, or the Hidden Village that their country is in. By knowing this technique the user knows and has basic knowledge of all Animals found in one Region.
Limit: Anyone is capable of learning unless they reach their limit, then user must be an Animal. Must learn off of the Animaru Narejji Bukku (Animal Knowledge Book).

Learning for Mountainous Regions

To digest the required amount of text from the tome he had procured took very little time for the well literate Nara. Since he had purchased it at Konohagakures Item Shop, he hadn't allowed his eyes a moment to look elsewhere, relying on memory and his other attune abilities to assist him in walking the familiar path towards the Gates and the Rukongai beyond it. It wasn't that the text was particularly engrossing, but more that he didn't wish to waste any time than was necessary - and for something of a self confessed author, being able to skimread and extract the vital parts of a well written tome as this was a simple exercise in ability.

What he would find in his book was that the animals of the Mountainous regions which he had chosen were actually rather selective. As though they'd undergone some form of rigorous natural selection phase, there was not many to choose between - a sparse few herbivores, but a great deal more carnivorous in nature than he had anticipated. It dawned on him that at this time, he was setting out to hunt the hunters of the natural world. The irony in that was not lost on him - and indeed, nor was the task ahead. A critical choice was going to have to be made at some juncture ahead of now - should he kill these creatures and return with their cadavers, or bring them back alive and bound? His choice for bindings were indeed short, for he had not procured any rope, wire or other materials, and as strong as his Kagemane was - it had a time limit. Dead would be the only choice for his first expedition.

Some of the more frightful animals did cause some cause for concern. The Bears for example, described as towering monstrosities of canine rage in a hulky frame, whose hunger when set knew no bounds. The Man-Eating Ferrets, seemingly cute in nature, whom in packs could strip a whole man of his flesh though they were pigs. Or even the death defying sheep! Those fluffy monsters who would approach oh so innocently, before nibbling away at your map and other such vital documents, leaving you stranded utop a mountain lost and to die of exhaustion and starvation. Indeed, Shuichi noted, be wary of the damned sheep and their beady eyes.

On a serious note, here was one creature what fascinated him as much as it alarmed him, and that was The Ziz. Strangely named, he couldn't believe its description at first though he knew the book in his heart of hearts was telling the truth. A gargantuan bird, a wingspan greater then several men on top of each others shoulders, of predatory and meat desiring nature. A fine price would be had for this rare creature, should one be found and hunted as it should be. A fine price, for risking ones life against the undisputed king of the sky.

Now approaching the gate which he would walk out of and beeline directly past the Rukongai, heading to the mountains, he closed the book - aptly comfortable with his level of knowledge obtained. Now it was time for Shuichis first hunt to begin, and the creature set in his mind to hunt was made. He was going Badger Baiting.

Shuichi and his giant, KO'd floating Badger, approached the gate. The staff, faces incredulous and long with disbelief, simply shrugged and allowed him passage through, back to the village he had only so momentarily left.

This felt somewhat familiar, thought Shuichi Nara as he once again set off to venture out into the wilderness to hunt. The last time he left, he hadn't a clue what he was doing - nor indeed, had he an idea as to what dangers he would face, animals or people alike, in the world. Most importantly, like last time, he did not know even the creatures of the area he was to go hunting in, and was clueless to what type of a habitat he would be wandering in to. So, as a safety precaution - he brought a book.

The last book he had brought was specific to the Mountainous regions, where he saw and first happened upon the idea of capturing a Giant Badger as his first trophy, which not too long ago had been marched through these gates. Now, he was headed for a much wetter climate, and with a new goal in mind. He was after a helper. One thing he'd found was that the transport of creatures back was something of a irksome trouble you could say, a nuisance at best. Once fought, he simply wanted to return, not to have to stress himself further. His intention this time was to capture and train one of these wild animals, and thus indoctrine it into his employ, and also gaining a vital a valuable companion.

Now, as he began to peruse and pore over the segments of the book detailing different species, he found a few which were in his favor. A land animal would have been preferred - as much as the idea of flight was, all it took was one drop and he would have been KO'd - or worse - upon whatever earth would rush up to meet him. Not a favorable end for the youthful author and shinobi. Whatever it was, it had to be big as well, and capable of transporting several carcasses back in one time. It was here that he made a choice of two animals - between the Giant Alligator and the Jurynday.

The Alligator he knew of - everyone knew of - and simply applied a greater size to it. Prehistoric monsters, capable of causing devastation and chaos wherever they may roam. Certainly a fun prospect. Yet the Jurynday was what caught his eye more, in reference to one legend. Maou. The Devil King of the Jurynday. Fabled to be a tremendous beast of some catastrophic size and potential, it harbored the potential to truly be crowned king of all land and sea.

Yes, Shuichi thought. He would dominate a king. His mind steeled, ego aflare and mentally (plus physically) prepared, he would continue to stride out of the village and towards the nearest river region, intending on following it out to sea.

Ah, return to the prison. Katsumaru trotted through the gates of Konohagakure. Pity, to be bound, but alas no other fate awaits aside from escape or death, both considerably more drastic than being bound to these wretched chains.

His eyes would be alight, as the genin would quietly slip through the gates with a nod to the Anbu guard, his face trying to hide the madness, which now hid upon the features of his face.With a slight smile,the genin took one look back laughing knowing this would be his last time in those walls and the will of fire finally snuffed from his soul.

in a rush rush rush Kaeor would leave the village. as he moved he would wrap five of his own kunai in exploding tags before placing them in his vest.

Heading towards the gates the mushroom sage took his steps. relaxed non-rushed steps landing upon the ground making a slight tapping sound. Light purple eyes would lazily stare ahead not paying attention to anyone around. As he got closer a horrible figure was seen standing at the gates. This figure non other then his step father. An irritated sigh would escape the green haired genin's lips as he continued to walk. When he stood infront of the prick he remained silent.

"im so glade you came i though u wasnt gonna come" his stepfather lied to his unlucky step son. Terfezia could easily tell the bastard was waiting for him. "now my client wants me to pick up one of his relatives the sad part is i cant im pretty busy" the genin's stepfather would say smugly before placing the envelope on Terfezia's head.That man always did this crap making him do jobs that did not help his life but instead his stepfather's life. To make it worse the green haired genin could not deny because the whiny asshole would tell his mother lies. This in return would make the woman angry and totally ignore what Terfezia would try to say. When that woman was mad the devil even locked himself in his house.

Moments woudl pass afterwards while the leaf nin remained silent. Simply reaching up to grab the envelope before putting it in his pocket. Terfezia simply gave the man a hatefull stare before continuing his journey to the land of thunder. Terfezia did not look back at his stepfather nor the leaf village. He woudl come back because afterall he was invited to a tea party. Such a relaxfull event was ideal for a long journey he was about to go onto soon. "bastard" his lips would open to allow the word to silently escape his lips as he continued walking away from the village.
