'Hmph. Those stupid petals makes it really hard for me to see' realized the male as he tried to find his opponent. Hisao put on his goggles, but the heatvision did not help much either.
He decided switch to X-ray vision after getting a better view. The boy noticed that the younger male had started to move something tiny towards the edge of his range.
'So that's his range of metal control then. Looks like we have two problems coming up. We can't get close to the petals since they will grill us like fly lights. I can't get close to the metal either unless I want them to be used against me. Let's see how he can handle an all-out assault then!' thought the Genin.
All the chakra had been stored - all he had to do was the handseals. The male kept a close eye at Ryutatsu while doing the handseals. The X-ray vision gave him a good view of where his opponent was.
A random senbon would be the first part of the assault. Hisao had planned to use this as a marker for the other clones to follow.
The marker senbon had been aimed from underneath, going for the boy's left shin. The clones that had prepared their pebble assault would attack once the other Genin moved. Their assault would come from below in an attempt to hurt his legs. Someone with injured legs could not move that well for starters. Plus that it would be more likely that he lost balance since they were attacking from below.
None of the senbons would be fired just yet. The older boy plus his clones started to prepare chakra for the upcoming round. Their opponent would probably try to attack them in some way after all.
But there was a chance that Ryutatsu would fall to the ground. Which was quite literally their area of expertise.
