The celebration has begun. Yes, many in the streets are simply villagers enjoying the festivities, but there are to be shinobi from both mist, and other villages participating as well. Many games are held, small prizes, along with a carnival. Here is where one gets the chance to meet shinobi from other villages, converse, and enjoy the many activities held by the villagers of mist; since most of this event has been planned by them. ANBU watch this place closely, if anything does get out of hand, it will be stopped swiftly without any civilians getting hurt. Have fun, drink, and have lots and lots of sexy-timez.

• Dunk the Rogue-Nin - as to not offend any villages, a villager sits above a large tub of water wearing a blank headband. Attached to this beam holding him above the water is a mechanism that posses as a target for the contestant to hit using their choice of a dull kunai, dull shuriken, or even a soft baseball[for the villagers who aren't trained in the use of these tools]. Prize depends upon amount of tries. Three tries per turn.
  
  
• Hammer Slammer - either through muscle, or the hammer provided, the contestant must use all of their strength to hit a small device. This device, which is attached to a hammer, forces the hammer to send a small steel block upwards along a beam. This beam is marked with numbers ranging from 0 to 120 inches[3 meters]. The higher steel goes, the bigger the prize[hitting the bell=1st place prize]. Three tries per turn.
  
  
• Sake Contest - in our local bar, a sake competition is being held. The object is to see who can drink the most shots before passing out. There isn't really any prize, other than free drinks for life at the bar itself. Come test your ability to hold your own wait, and don't pass out. You might wake up the next morning with your underwear over your forehead while you lay sprawled in a thorn bush. Just a friendly warning.
  
  
• Shogi Championship - think you're smart enough to enter the Shogi tournament? Its gonna some wit to outsmart some of the best Shogi players in the country. The tournament is free for entry, and the prize being a massive Shogi trophy showing you are indeed, the best out there in the game. The competition is to be held in our local park, so if you want to join, I suggest making your way there for the action.

• Flaming Dragon - a local night club for the older crowd. The club is at the bottom of our local hotel, where most of our vistors are to stay during their time here. Free drinks all night, and plenty of pretty people for the taking[not literally]. Bright lights, loud music, and loose people ready to party. Have fun and enjoy this great offer while it lasts. Cause any trouble, and get a foot up the ass by the bouncer.
  
  
• Sumo Wrestling - you a gambler, come watch the great fight between Toshimoto and Po, the worlds greatest sumo wrestlers. Who do you think will win? Place your bets against others[if you really wish to bet, by all means, bet with another and I will do the Ryo transfer - the winner has been pre-decided -]. This is to be held in a small stadium, usually used for any Chuunin Exams if they were to be held in Kirigakure.

Zala's look

Working in a shop like a slave 24-7 has it's highs and it's lows. One such low in this moment in time for the young miss is rediscovering her forge that her grandfather had stopped using. Of course this is a situation where she dug it out to put to good use, but the fact that it heads the shop up so much, she now understands why Gramps abandoned the idea.

Sighing as the foot traffic seems to pass her by, Zala settles in upon a bench. Anything for a sense of fresh air with her sense of being over heated. There is some major event going on. No doubt this new Mizukage up to something. For the most part, she stays out of politics like her grandfather did. It is her place to build, not tell people how to live their lives or run their country.

With a calming sigh, the little builder would watch the world pass her by as contests prepare to gather and people as well.

My head would hang. Eyes locked onto my feet as they carried me through the crowded streets. Bright lights and sounds of laughter overcame my sense. Depressing my mood even further. What could I say, I was to cold for anyone to enjoy my company and thus the outcome. Me, a loner who lacked the motivation to live. What the fuck. I had intended for the world to feel pain as I did. But the only thing that had happen, was more pain submitted to my emotions. And on this ecstatic night full of happiness and new experiences, the lonely robin wept.

His only was out was to numb his pain with the gift of alcohol. Glancing up from the trance with the ground, he would take notice of an advertisement. It would share the knowledge of a sake tournament that occurred tonight. Free booze for everyone. Including the weeping robin who longed for the compassion of another. But he looked forward to the moment. When the liquid had completely poisoned his body and he could no longer feel emotion. That was until the next day. Taking in the thought he would hesitate. But alas entering the bar and registering for the tournament. After giving his name he would take a seat upon a stool. Head rested on two arms which lay upon the long wooden bar to his front side.

Sano walked throug the streets the constant hustle and flow of all the people easily giving him the amount of movement he needed in order to see. Everyone was so busy enjoying the festivities that no one even gave the blind shinobi a second glance. The Mizukage had thrown this grand festival to commemorate his ascension and to signify a new era for Kirigakure. People from everywhere were invited to join in at this event. Sano was a little hesitant having shinobi of other village come to his home like this, but he was not the Mizukage. Sano was still just a lowly genin. Even if he were a higher rank Sano trusted his Mizukage and wouldn't go against his wishes.

Though all of the ruckus forced him to put a stop to his training he had to admit it all looked a little fun. He had been training non-stop for what had to have been the past two weeks. His father had forced him to come out today on the grounds that a break in between training was apparently part of the shinobi way as well. Sano's father was a bit too carefree for the young boy's like, but it was his father and he respected the man. Sano gave a sigh as he made his way over to the game area to see what he could play. If he was going to be here he might as well find something to do.

Looking around at all the people having a sense of fun in the streets, the little crafter cannot help but to feel just a bit intimidated. It has been a llong time between projects that she has that she has been out and about to look over everything like this.

Casually a possible the brunette gets up and begins to make her way through the festivities, though strangely she looks upon this contest that a mand is spouting about concerning brute strength and slamming a hammer down upon a plunger...this seems simple enough and by all indications anyone might get the hammer to move. But the man seems more interested in talking to the males as they move through rather then the young Missy that stands before him.

Guess he isn't all that sure who she is or even really what she is. Perhaps he is scared of some embrassment. "I would like to give it a try. Can I please?"

Sano continued to walk around the festival taking in a spectacle that probably wouldn't be happening again any time soon. As he marched through the gaming area of the place he watched as both shinobi and villagers alike tried their hands at the multitude of games. He watched as a younger girl approached a man manning one of those arm strong type games with a mallet and a bell at the top. Sano was tempted to go over there and try his luck, but he figured he would save that for another time. Instead his senses caught the attention of a nearby dunking contest. He watched as a small boy got to move right up to the thing and nail the pressure button with a bat.

Since the young genin was going to be out for a while he might as well try his hand at something. Sano made his way over to the game the last person in line having just finished his turn in failure and Sano being now the only one on line. The shinobi thought it would be nice to win and decided to use his supposed 'illness' to his advantage. He moved enough so it seemed as if he didn't really fully know where he was going and when the man running the station noticed him Sano made sure that the worker got a full view of his milky white blind eyes. Sano then spoke, "I heard there was a dunking station here. I would love to try if you don't mind? What can I win?" Sano then continued to play the blind man never truly looking at the worker, but rather all around as if trying to get a fix on the man's location by listening.

Nyustukyi walked aroung the corner and saw his friend Sano standing asking a question. He walked up behind him to watch what he was doing. He wasn't going to approach him just yet, he didn't want to bother him.

Baika came back to Kirigakure from the capitol city to be greeted by the celebration of his new kage. Festivities never excited him, nor did he really enjoy them but for support of the nex Mizukage he'd participate in the fun. the young mist shinobi wanders down the streets, the smell of frying foods and sake filling his nose. The low buzz of people talking engulfed his ears as he tried his best to blend in.

Thankfully he never really made friends with any of his fellow ninja so he wouldn't be easily noticed. He finds a small cart serving food and sake, Baika manages to get his own bottle of sake and walks away into an alley way.

He takes a swig of the alcohol, swishing it around in his mouth a little bit before swallowing. This would help lighten up his mood so he could attempt to have some fun at this party.

After about ano hour he found nothing to do.

"This is beat, fugg it."

Bored with the whole street thing after she had to mock the vender man in order to get a chance, and then scaring him. It was funny when she did it one handed and the bell went off at the top of the device.

Strolling away, she walks along. It is a boring thing here after all.

Despite the ANBU's best attempts to secure the back alleyways of the village, it was soon discovered that a perplexing darkness had stirred itself to life. A thick, inpenetrable mist slowly engulfed the main streets of Kirigakure, turning looming lights into distant stars in a blurry heaven; preaching darkness and mystery to a choir of uncertainty.

"Ah," came a soft voice, nearly as ominous as the mist itself, "...it begins."

The darkness began to tether, and gradually, the thick veil began its retreat. From its winding depths and forgotten chasms, standing amidst the denizens of Kirigakure, there was a figure in a mask.

The stranger made his way through the festive streets of Kirigakure, and onwards, towards the base of the Mizukage's Tower. It was there that his story would resume; it was there that the world would shake; that the heavens would cry.

From the Ashes:The Suzaku Returns!

Sano stood on the street preparing to convince the man employed to govern the game that Sano was some blind fool just wanting to make a try and be like everyone else. However, Sano quickly turned his version of the vision not clouded by the mist. He could tell from the expressions of those gathered around him that clearly visible wasn't so clearly for everyone else and something was limiting visibility.

Sano's echolocation surrounded him in a 45 meter perimeter. It was through this that no matter what that man was just trying to hide himself with Sano easily picked him up. Sano watched the man arrive and knew that something wasn't right. If he was allowed to be here he wouldn't have used such a way to enter inside the village. Sano quickly searched for an ANBU to alert them of the presence. As soon as he found one he described the person who had entered the village and how he snuck in when the others weren't able to see him. The Anbu then disappeared, whether he went to warn the kage or just thought Sano was crazy was beyond the boy.

[—suzaku.]

While this Sano fellow searched for the ANBU to alert them of the Suzaku's arrival, the cloaked Sannin pushed onwards, through the thin dim streets of Kirigakure, and towards the tower that loomed overhead.

As Heroshi walked through the crowded streets he tried to keep out of anyones way. Being young is hard here because no one really pays much attention to you. He walked around a bit looking at all the shining lights and watching people have fun and talk. Since Heroshi was quite young i decided it best to leave. So he walked back down the street and took one last good look at the festival as it slowly disappeared into the mist.

Three words. Too many drinks. It was apparent that I had taken to much advantage of the free drinks being given out. For as I attempted to stand up I would fall down, landing promptly on my ass. Sighing, I would use the bar to pull me to my feet. I needed to leave this place before I could do any harm to someone. Nodding thankfully to the bar tender, I would exit the shop. My current destination. Home.

Entering the scene of the festival, the lights and games flashed past his eyes like headlight of a stalled vehical; being passed by a Porsche. It seemed like anything that had been going on was going to start slowing down. Hearing was actually going to be possible! Keeping his ears to the street like a big-eared pooch, Ikiri would listen for anything that seemed of interest. The tower seemed to be blending in with the dark sky behind it now.

"Jiro. Would you rather go to the tower; or stay around here and gather intel? We might not be able to even get in the tower if some $#!% is going on that's bigger than I think."

Jiro enter the street as it was lively as he said earlier to Ikiri. Whom should be shortly behind him. The strett was busier with citizens of the viillage, children and maybe Mist Nin just taking it easy. Like Jiro he could relax here though it seemed Ikiri was here for answers. "Maybe he is a lover of festivals..." Jiro just rubbed his chin as he walked through the crowds. Sporadically looking back for Ikiri. Looking forward suddenly and Ikiri was there.

"Jiro. Would you rather go to the tower; or stay around here and gather intel? We might not be able to even get in the tower if some $#!% is going on that's bigger than I think."

Jiro was right thinking he was looking for answers.

"Well... its a festival and all." Jiro though back as he would've attended such and event sans such great ninja skills. "Let's go to the tower the festival is not important to me."

He would join Ikiri in going to the tower for what really was going on.

Nyustukyi noticed the new arrivals in the streets and observed them from a far at first. He wondered what they wanted in this place.

"Damn it, Not even sure if we should go there."

Eyeing the building, it would just seem so unsettling, somewhere a great battle was happening. A type of battle of titans. Standing, glaring dead at the tower, he would think. The Kages fighting was something beyond monstrous. Was that of Fuji's reasoning for giving out the lo'cal of the village? Things were going to start coming to light soon.

"No, we can't go there. These things are beyond our control now. All we can do is try to asses the situation, then think of a counter attack."

Ikiri would avert his eyes back to the street infront of him. People walked back & forth. Trying to spot a ninja in a crowd was shooting crabs in the ocean. Hopeless.

"We need to check around here for anything, suspicious."

Jiro looked up also seeing the damages done to the tower and a feeling of rage bursting forth from its confines. It seems none of the patrons of the festival cared about the underlying conflicts that might be going on. Instead of getting involved with the possible melee going on maybe someone knew the reasons behind this festival.

Looking around on the street he noticed a Mist Nin looking at him. Viewing him from the corner of his eyes he confirmed he was watching the two. "Hmmm..." He turned to face his comrade. He reached into his pouch and retrieved his headband taken off earlier. Tying it quickly to his forehead he looked direcltl at the snooper[Nyustukyi] Pointing at him strongly and the beckoning him to come closer with a waggle his pointer finger.

"I'll ask him." he said to Ikiri as he waited for the youth to step forward.

Nyustukyi was being called over to talk to the two. He noticed that one had put on a Mist Headband. What should he do? Where they really Mist ninja or someone else. The commotion at the Mizukage's Tower was loud and ANBU were all over the place.

"Ah shit, I sure do hope they don't start anything." he said keeping eye contact with the two. He moved over, his cloak hiding his movements. He really didn't want to have anything happen. He smiled and walked over to the two.

"You need something stranger?"
