His vigilant watch had been interrupted with the scouting bird's report. Monk did not leave his post, but he didn't mind listening in on the report. As expected however, Marii reported the situation to him anyway. Three bandits...two with large swords, and one with odd gloves...hmm.... Monk thought. "I'll do away with them as quickly as possible." he said. Then, walking forward in the direction the scout summons had traveled, Monk headed north-west to find these missing nins.
The Land of Moon was lavished well in trees. Monk decided to use these to his sleuthing advantage while he deliberated on how best to combat the enemy. He traveled slowly. Three hundred meters was quite far off, and Monk did not want to be separated from the rest of the pack. If two of these missing ninja carry large swords...my own katana and wakizashi will not do much to defend me...I'll keep them sheathed for now. This last missing ninja may prove difficult from the lack of information...Shock gloves would mean close combat something easily dealt with, but should he hold something more deadly which is all too possible, I would need to be very cautious.
Fifty meters had been traveled so far, where Monk noticed a few noteworthy landmarks in case he had need of them. He continued to walk on, another twenty paces where he found himself overly thinking about the three missing ninjas. Not only about how to defeat them, but of what village they hailed from, how old they were, and how they came to be in their position. One thing is for sure, I will have to kill them. Empathy and mercy will not bode well for my own skin.
Just a moment after that though, Monk saw a flash in a moderate clearing within the trees. Slowly, he went into a crouch, cautious to not alert anyone to his presence via noise. In the distance, very close to Monk just about 7 meters away, he saw the targets. They walked carelessly, laughing even. It showed their confidence. The two swordsmen held large blades measuring almost six feet by Monk's estimation. They also swung them quite easily, taking chunks out of nearby trees with ease. The third, clearly did not carry the kind of Shock Glove as Monk had ever seen, but rather a large gauntlet looking item.

It had been a very close impact, and if not for his Heightened Perception, his expectation to always be attacked, he would be dead. He had made a single large leap out of the grass and shadows to avoid the oncoming punch from behind. He felt a tremor in the earth when he landed (just three meters from the two Greatsword wielders) but had no time to investigate for as soon as he touched down the Missing Ninjas blades were striking down to his position. Another leap took him to a tree, and luckily the Greatswords had become affixed into the ground long enough to prevent another swing.
Looking back to his former position Monk saw a crater within the ground and the Third missing ninja standing in the middle of it. "Your way to big to be hiding in trees." . It was only a statement but Monk felt the murderous intent. A single leap took the ninja out of his crater, and he was again prepared to fight.
Monk took only a step before The Greatswords were attacking again. One aiming from his left ankle to his right shoulder, and the other from his right shoulder to left ankle. Monk leaped once more to his left and rolled. Mid-roll however, The Third was on him again with that Gauntlet of his. Not a direct hit, but the resulting crater had hit Monk. The impact sent him into another tree within the clearing, his side slamming into the trunk, though luckily his arm had buffered any possible damage to his ribs. Still he was in a lot of pain, a headache like sensation taking him. He was curled up, his back facing the ninja. He felt their presence on him. The Greatswords laughed, slow and stupidly, while the Third willed away insults to the Hidden Villages and Monk himself.
Neither of them could see the handsigns being made tucked inside Monk's body...
Greatswords
Jutsu Used
Monk:
Heightened Perception[70]
Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S"
Skill: Supplementary
Effect: By analyzing and keeping an eye on the opponent's shoulder and foot work the user is able to predict movements and grab a feel of when attacks are going to come by making the Boxer a more proficient fighter.
Special: ---
Drawback: The user is only capable of predicting movements’ one rank below then what they have learned. The user is only capable of predicting movements that are TaiJutsu Based. Any other type of movements cannot be predicted.
Description: The way this technique works is that the user observes certain points of areas of the opponent's body such as the shoulders, thighs, and hips. Since attacks are focused on these points they are capable of making educational guesses towards points of contact that may occur within these certain points. This type of technique is a study where the user is capable of watching an opponent's movements for a brief moment of time predicting TaiJutsu techniques. When the user first learns this technique they are capable of predicting techniques of "D" Rank capability. When the user learns the "B" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "C" Rank capability. When the user learns the "A" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "B" Rank capability. When the user learns the "S" Rank version of this technique they are only capable of predicting techniques of "A" Rank capability.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know all Basics
Missing Ninja
-2 Shunshin
Pressure Gauntlets
Rank: "C"
Type: Main
Effect: ---
Special: ---
Drawback: Due to the mechanics it is not all that cheap, and is slightly more heavy then something normal.
Description: Looks like a normal gauntlet except for the massive piston located on the front of the gauntlet shielded by a layer of steal. When quickly focused by chakra the piston quickly extends taking in a massive amount of air into the empty cavity. When desired the cavity retracts forcing the air inside the cavity to escape through the vents located along the wrist section along the gauntlet giving the user an added strength within the punch. The Pressure Gauntlet is slightly heavier due to the metallic components found within the Gauntlet. When the initial hit comes through the pressurized system it does not kill, but is forceful enough to perhaps knock a person out if connected along the stomach or chest. Due to the power it takes time for the Pressure to recalibrate on itself for if fired consecutively it could burst destroying the weapon as well as the arm it is attached to. (Limit: Pressure blow - once every three rounds)
Limit: May be bought at any type of Weapon Shop
Cost: 3000 Ryo Each due to mechanical components
