The Akumu was done with the old dojo simply because the dojo was trashed, but he was not yet done in all truth. His current predicament left his body with dormant muscle memory but no actual memory of how to accomplish the move. Sensei Tsunahara simply moved the lessons to a different location, one that was a bit older, but even larger. “Sensei I would like to see the Senkou-zuki. It is the technique I would like to learn at this moment.”
“Very well Gekkido. You must understand before you see this move even once, that it can only be use once within a 60 second duration. Choose wisely” With that, he watched her take the battojutsu stance . Sensei Tsunahara appeared to focusing a lot. Aclime gave every bit of the attention to the most minute details of her from, being sure to spare himself from no detail. And then she moved, in a single powerful and swift movement. From his own view point, he attempted to menatally slow down what he was seeing. The attempt only worked slightly, as it allowed him to view the initial movement she’d made. There was a flash of a blade, which he’d been able to discern as the draw of her sword.
Also with the same movement, the blade became loose, free of its imprisonment. Her body became a single body flicker like motion, although he was aware she’d used no such technique. That attack seemed full of power and energy, but he knew she couldn’t demonstrate it again so soon. What would this leave him with him with? Private training. It would start on his own the moment Sensei Tsunahara left to attend to other maters. He’d immediately resume the battojutsu stance, focusing on the wall a few meters away. Tension picked up within his body as the muscles tightened and loosened, preparing for the move.
Suddenly, A blurred creation happened around him as he initiated his movement. His katana would be freed by his hands when he pulled on it. Simultaneously the same motion would angle the sword in his hands forward and he’d push off with his left foot, then the right as it too came forward. With the very tip of his sword angled straight ahead, it would be only as simple as using the proper footing and force to propel himself forward. This was presumably what he used as he his right foot hit the ground to push him forward. But something was terribly wrong with his movement, or rather it was his body itself. The movement was slow, sluggish, and lacked the expected finesse he planned to use.
