I laid back and grumbled looking up at the dark clouds feeling the electricity lift my hair with static. The legend of the lightning release sounded interesting and had some concrete theory in it, I held my hand up to the darkened cloud and let my chakra flow into the air mingling with the electrified air. Sparks soon started to fly between the tendrils of chakra connecting them giving off the soft hum of electricity; the chakra soon became more visible as light blue and fluctuating with the electrical potential. Zzzpp! The electricity traveled more erratically striking out from the main body of the energy.

"Sweet" I murmured and tried to move the electricity into a spiral pattern making a whirlpool shape out of the pseudo-lightning. watching it slowly swirl and webs of lightning tendrils weaving between each revolution of chakra. The lightning then started to react more violently and I could fell my chakra starting to vibrate and discharge erratically in random directions one of the loose bolts striking the ground next to me with black smoking wafting up from the charred ground.

I quickly let it go and the dense electrical discharged fast and wide the electrical wave spreading over me as small arcs branched off hitting rocks plants and the ground around me. My chakra pressed to me and I could feel it vibrating violently against my skin shocking it on a faint level. After the static dissipated I could feel the electricity in my body as small arcs of electricity hoping through the air.

I grumbled softly running my hand through my hair feeling the small shocks of static electricity running through it. I got up and stared at the black sky visualizing the lightning before pressing my hands together into a seal and charging my chakra into my right arm. I felt it flow to it effortlessly and envelop my appendage. The thunder clapped softly in the distance as lightning blankets weaved through the clouds.

Focusing on the vibrations that shook my chakra before I started to rapidly vibrate my chakra seeing if it might produce the same effect. Soon my chakra began to make a humming sound as it turned a paler blue and shaped more erratically. The chakra was shaping and changing to electricity sparking humming as it swirled around my arm. I could feel the electricity humming across my skin little did I know that it was making my arm go numb from lack of control.

I closed my hand to see the effect but i didn't feel it; my arm was numb and couldn't feel anything. I canceled my flow of chakra and started rubbing my arm hissing softly as the feeling as well as the burning came back. "Damn this hurts" I growled as every nerve ending slowly came back online one at a time.

I grabbed the scroll again looking at then noticed I hadn't completely un rolled it. "WARNING: Use of lightning based chakra can cause but is not limited too numbing, burning, shocking, and a risk of death...... SHOULDN'T THIS BE IN BOLD!?!?!?"

I groaned faintly hissing and pulling the air between my teeth as I felt the burning intensify and created water around my arm to cool the burns and got an idea. Making a trail of water swerving through the grass I touched one end and concentrated my chakra in my fingertips being careful and slowly started to change the nature. Again, it started to shift and hum becoming eratic and electric blue.

I let the electric chakra merge with the water and saw it speed through it discharging and lighting the tips of the grass on fire but becoming quelled as they burnt down to the water below. "Okay I got change and discharge down. Now control"

I got about 45 feet of wire from my traveling bag and 8 kunai setting them up in a double diamond pattern (like this -<><>). I touched the singular kunai and concentrated my chakra to my fingers again then shifting it to lightning chakra making the color and movement change. Keeping the charge in my fingers before letting it loose along the wire and used my chakra to focus it's movements making the electricity follow the path around the outside of the diamond rather than the criss-crossing pattern of the wire.

Having not thought of the charges path I failed to notice that the charge would come back to me. I yelped and pulled my hand away creating water around my burned fingertips to ease the burning pain. The water slowly took the pain away as I watched the wire softly sizzling from the bolt that had traversed through them. "This is starting to look promising"

I created water around both the water and kunai cooling them and gathering them. A strange thing happened then, they all stuck together. The charge traveling between had slightly magnetized the metal. I put the equipment away and heard the harsh crack of thunder but couldn't help but feel comforted by it.

Tsubasa Sodachimasu no jutsu (Wing Grow Technique)

Effect: Lets the user grow wings of a bird out of their shoulders.
Special: Ram
Drawback: The user may feel some pain, due to the initial outburst of the extra shoulder bones that are used for the rest of the wings to grow on. Cannot Re-grow wings that were ripped or severed from the body. If one wing is removed then it is impossible to retract the wings. If a wing is injured somehow, once retracted they cannot be used for 2 weeks OOC.
Description: The user forms the handseal, and then the extra shoulder bones that come from the Ritual of Talon and Feather burst through the back of the user and they start to grow into wings of any given bird, through chakra increasing the length of the bones, (user chooses) that are twice the length of the user’s arms. Chakra will numb the pain, but it will still hurt. The chakra will also accelerate the growth of the skin, but it will come out with feathers, having stimulated the chemical. The user may then use the wings to fly and perform other techniques that require this jutsu. When the Tsubasa wishes it or has an injured wing they can retract the wings into their body to heal over time or simply to hide them.
Limit: Must be a Tsubasa, must have Ritual of the Talon and Feather performed on them.

The ritual sucked, it was painful and my body had been stiff for weeks afterward and now I had to start more training to make the wings grow then use them properly, this sucked even worse. I sighed rubbing my shoulders feeling the slight difference in my shoulders now that were more bone in my shoulder blades while at the same time feeling most of my body was lighter than normal, continuing to my usual area of training I sat next to the water and unfolded a piece of paper with moderate directions for both "wing growth" and "wing control". "The first course of action after the ritual is to then grow the wings by pushing chakra into the calcium supplies."

I tilted my head not understanding but shrugged guessing that it had to do with the chemical that hollowed my bones the night of the painful ritual. After making a seal I concentrated my chakra to my back and started feeling the calcium reacting to it and moving around in their pockets of my blood but none of it combining or forming anything that was remotely similar to bones let alone wings, let alone wings capable of flight for that matter as well. I growled softly laying back on the grass looking over the instructions again and thinking back to the night of the ritual, the female medic had used a jutsu that made a chemical from the young bird's feather and then that chemical had coursed through my body took calcium from my bones and moved it to my shoulder blades which I was now supposed to somehow activate and pull wings out my ass..... "DAMMIT!!!... This sucks..."

I grumbled and sat back up sighing as I reached back feeling the slightly firmer liquid settled into my back. Shivering slightly from the feel I pulled my hand back and formed the seal again breathing in and out deeply before building my chakra and pushing it into the calcium deposits again trying to mold it into a shape similar to bone and felt the reaction stronger than the first time as it started molding the calcium into a solid-ish state and forming small pieces of bones that drifted through the calcium pulling more of it to the pieces and slowly growing bigger and firmer. suddenly I broke the seal panting feeling the amount of chakra that it was taking to build the bones for these wings was starting to drain from me. "Damn I need a breather.."

I sat back up breathing quietly as I weaved a couple seals together and focusing my chakra again to my back energizing the bone fragments and calcium causing them to start reacting again. the pieces began to weave and piece together making more bones grow. I winced growling faint in my throat as I felt the bones pierce through my skin growing outwards as they formed, slowly getting longer and thicker, absorbing the calcium deposit molding it long thin and hollow.

"Kami this feels weird" I mumbled as the bones grew thicker and firmer, growing down then curving up and arching back down creating the curve of the wings. the bones quickly spawned cartilage from their ends holding themselves together. Muscle then started growing out around the bone wrapping around the length of calcium and I could start to move them a little with the impulses from the new muscle.

I winced slightly from the pain of new muscles being grown then slowly extended and contracted them stretching and flexing the fresh flesh and seeing how it worked as a thin layers of skin slowly started growing over it one by one making a sheathe around the newly formed muscle. I quietly moved the new appendage feeling a film of skin stretch under the wings as well as the slight disturbance of wind.

I flinched quietly after touching the skin across the new appendage, I could feel it but it was strange and awkward feeling the impulses running through unfamiliar trails connecting through out the length of the wings. They started to shift slightly the look of normal skin quickly becoming porous, even along the film of skin that spanned from my back to the tips of the limbs.

The porous started to expand and darken growing steadily from the same tanned tone of my skin becoming sickly pale then grey and steadily becoming darker until they were a black-blue color shifting depending on the light. I softly touched one feeling a slight poke and saw as small raven colored spines grew from the pores until each spine was about 10 inches long.

After the dark spines had grown dark fluffy down began to grow along the underside of my wings still leaving parts around the spines partially untouched. The spines themselves slowly growing fibers along the length of the spines and slowly becoming more and more like the feathers they were supposed to be. I slowly touched the blanket of black feathers able to feel each of them shifting and looking together at the bend of the wind.
