Raiton – Soudoki no Jutsu (Thunder Style – Double Protector Technique)

Effect: Allows the user to disperse to quick lightning vortexes from their hands, shot out in a cone like fashion that opens up as it progresses. Ideal when the user is being flanked by opposing sides, as both hands blasting could ward enemies from multiple direction. The blast radius is twenty meters long, with a cone like shape that's twenty meters wide towards the end and ten meters at the narrow base/source. Anyone caught within receives severe ninjutsu and shocking damage that results in a numbed and unresponsive body, as well as a five meters knock back. Lasts until deactivated within turn.
Special: ‘Handseals’
Drawback: Once per turn, and cannot stay activated longer than a single turn before needing rest. If used for a whole turn, cannot be used the next turn as the arms are recovering. Cannot use handseals whilst using the blasters, as they encompass both hands. Does not discriminate between friend or foe. If used more than ten times during a fight, arms become unusable for five turns afterwards.
Description: An ideal jutsu designed for whenever the raiton user is being flanked. After the necessary handseals are done, the palms of their hands are imbued in pure lightning, allowing them to shoot a powerful blast intended to stop an enemy dead in tracks, as well as push them back. If the user is coherent and aware enough, they could even more around with the blaster, felling multiple assailants at once.

It was a nice day in the Leaf Village when Amarante decided to go and see her old friends in the training grounds. She of course had some big news to tell them about what had happened to her since she seen last. She had moved up in the world again, past the point of being a Police Chief and now on to the Hokage of the Leaf as well. When she got to the usual spot however they were no where to be seen so she decided to wait a while for them. Of course there was no probable chance that she'd run into them, it had been quite a while though she was sure if she waited long enough, they'd show themselves. In the meantime whoever she decided to entertain herself with some lightning jutsu training.

She began to flicker her chidori on and off in her right hand. It was fun to look at as well as fun to use as it gave her a tinging sensation in her hand. She began to do the same thing to her left, just flickering the jutsu on and off rather quickly, never really letting the jutsu hold. She then had the idea to use it on both her hands at the same time. She was already able to do such a thing so she just let a few crackles escape her hands and felt a small prickle in her finger tips as sparkles flew from her hands for a moment. It felt good for her to do that so she focused more chakra into her hands and a loud snap was heard before she could hear a sound like chirping birds, the chidori was being held strong. She continued to maintain the chakra until she heard a stirring to her side, a rustle in the treeline. All of a sudden two kunai came at her from both her flanks and she reacted by moving the chidori to intercept them.

Remembering a time back in the academy, years and years ago, Amarante recalled the instance they were training against captive interrogation. With all the students corralled in a room they were split into groups of four to five people and given cards with information they were to hide from one another. Amarante's particular group was one that had her a hypothetical murder while the others were innocent of the crime. They were to deceive the chuunin instructor and trick him that one of the others was the murder, they had ten minutes. As luck would have it Amarante was chosen first to speak and so she pulled her poker face, as others were told to. She pleaded her innocence and told him that it was not her. Speaking, she was sure to not allow any minor inflections of guilt or deceit enter her voice which whilst being a kid was actually much easier to do than it would for an adult. A child would have minor inflections of guilt even when innocent so it gave her a slight edge. The chuunin upon hearing as such would notice these inflections and be wary of them however he would move on and question the other children further first before coming to his conclusion. The others were given tads of information to act upon and hypothetical characters.

One such character would say that they seen a blonde woman, wouldn’t you know it Amarante had drawn the character of a blonde woman, leaving the scene of the crime. Upon hearing this the chuunin would again question Amarante of this. Again she pleaded her innocence and stated that he must have been mistaken, some of the other childrens characters had intentionally been designed to see the wrong thing so the chuunin was curious. He listened to Amarante and took note of her body language. Watching her face for feints of guilt Amarante found that her body language may have been letting her down. She did her best to conceal any of this took a stone cold expression. She had to cut off all ties of emotion like some of the other children were showing with their smiles and giggles. They found this highly amusing however Amarante took it seriously. She had to pay mind to her hands as she spoke as well. If she were to flaunt them incorrectly the chuunin instructer would pick her up for it. Paying extra mind to her hands she decided the best course of action was to simply move them as little as possible.

While she could have used hand gestures to lure him into certain lies and mislead the instructor it would be best for her to instead to minimise hand and body movement to be a little as possible even when telling the truth so she would not be picked out for her lies as she could form habbits. She knew that forming habits that were inconsistent with one another would lead to her being discovered. Next she used her flash card to mislead the chuunin to think that someone else had indeed committed the murder of the hypothetical man. Speaking with as sombre a tone and expression as she possibly could she implied that one of her classmates held the card of murderer. They pleaded their innocence however the chuunin was less than convinced. Luckily for Amarante two of the other students were playing cold fish as well so her own coldness fell into an area of uncertainty instead of giving it away. More information was given to Amarante and she found that the chuunin was not only focusing on the one speaking but the reactions of the other students in response to the words of the one speaking.

She was scared that she may have let it slip that the murderer was her during this however she played it as cool as she could, poker facing to the very best of her abilities. She couldn’t think of an instant that she did make a move however that accusation made at her would be something she worried about. In that instance she may have made a mistake though it wasn’t yet time for the chuunin to decide on who he thought the murderer was yet. She continued her stone face until the ten minute timer sent. At that point all the chuunin had to make their guess as to who was the murderer. A few other groups chuunin answered first and caught out the murderers each time. This left Amarante a little unsure on what her fate was. Soon it was her groups turn and the chuunin spoke. He guess that it was one of the other students to which end Amrante piped up that it was her. In the end it was only her that passed the test this time though there was to be other instances where she would have to deceive her instructors and she had caught the eye of one of her teachers.

Amarante sat at a poker table with a bunch of other people. She was competing in a competitive ring at the suggestion of her master Uchiha, though for what reason she knew not. Her best guess was to work be able to work on her ‘poker face’ literally. Given her carads Amarante took a sneak peak at them, covering them from view from the people next to her. Retaining a neutral expression she turned to read the others. She herself had to be mindful of her facial expressions at all times. If she were to give anything away she would lose to these experts and the money that she had bet on would be lost completely. Her hands were held before her clasped together. Everyone was acting shifty but she didn’t let it get to her. With a blank expression, as it came around to her turn to bet she took her chips and called the bet, being careful not to let anything give. Immediately she returned back to her neutral expression and waited for the round. Looking around she focused on the mannerisms of the others, they all seemed to be very closed off whilst some also gave the illusion of being loose and giving away though for this level of play, it had to be a fake tell.

Bet went around the table, Amarante held pocket aces and in the draw a third came on the flop. With three aces in this illegal Texas hold’em match Amarante was in a good position. She couldn’t let the others know that however and as the river was revealed she showed nothing but the gentle yet expressionless smile she had worn all game. She matched a few bets that were placed as the others hands were built, a few people dropping out this hand. The other cards was a queen and a ten, not of matching traits so there was no chance of a matching straight which was to her advantage though not really. She called a few bets, opting not to raise at this time. Another carad was drawn, a jack of hearts. Amarante did not let her worry show at this change of circumstance however, she wouldn’t allow it. A few of the other players dropped off though she played strong and rose the pot only to be counter raised once again, doubling the amount of money in the pot. Only three people remained at this point and Amarante was the last to call. She stared in the blank eyes of opponent. She was worried that he had a straight which still beat her hand though her face didn’t tell that.

It spoke nothing to the others, not a twitch came from her. Without so much as the showings of a tell Amarante decided to call this persons bluff though as soon as she did a smile broke on the face of her opponent though only for the slightest of instances. She wouldn’t allow this to show though and she fought her instincts to remain expressionless as best she could. She knew that he had a king and a straight that would beat her hand. If she could have guess, she figured he had made her for a lesser straight, capping at the queen while he held the king in his hand to make it a higher straight. All the while thinking she simply held her hands clasped before her, hiding any shape of a tell. The next card was drawn. A forth ace. She could win now, she knew she had the best hand but she couldn’t let these people know that. The man who smiled was the first to bet and he stared at both of his opponents. He was sure he’d win but was it really possible? He read both Amarante and the other man as best he could, staring them dead in the eye. Amarante showed nothing, gave him nothing but the other man showed him the slightest of doubts.

He could beat this guy he thought before deciding on what Amarante had. He figured her for a lesser straight before but that forth ace had him worried. He noticed that Amarante didn’t react though figured that, as a child, she knew nothing and had nothing. He figured the absence of reaction meant that her circumstance didn’t change and decided for the optimal move. He went all in. The second man folded and Amarante couldn’t help but let her emotions show now. She had, in her thought, just beaten this guy, fooling him into playing all in. She matched him, startling him completely as the cards were revealed. Amarante’s four of a kind won the hand and he was escorted from the table. Everyone was surprised a mere teenager had beaten an adult though she didn’t pay them any mind and went back onto playing the next hand as straight faced as possible. Whom would she fool next she wondered? With everyone wary of her now. She had to play a risky move and intentionally lose a few hands. This would set her up to win some larger hands later, essentially cheating people out of their money. Using this strategy she fleeced two other people out of their money and went on to play in the finals.

Description: Actions can show how dangerous the creature is, whether it is hungry, protecting its young, or defending a nearby den. Furthermore, careful observation of signs and behaviors can even indicate the location of a water hole, animal herds, predators, or impending danger, such as a forest fire. A successful check means the character understands the basic actions of the creature, as well as the type of creature it is. A character may also imitate the calls and cries of animals that he is reasonably familiar with, based on the knowledge (user must learn per Region). This ability is limited by volume. A successful check means that only Chakra means can distinguish the character's call from that of a true animal. The cry is sufficient to fool animals, perhaps frightening them away or luring them closer. When learning the user must choose per Region and they may only have knowledge of Animals creatures. Each Skill level allows the user knowledge of each Animal category (Example: Novice can identify Common Animals, Master can identify Nearly Impossible Animals) within a region. Heading to the library, Amarante took out a book on animals for researching. She was going to go and catch some to sell for money so she needed to learn about what kind of animals were out there. Looking up Forest animals she read about them. Aarakian was the first on the list. Appearing to be some kind of giant bug Amarante read that it measured about four feet in length, almost as long as she was tall. That was a scary piece of information. As she continued to read on these bugs she found that the colour scheme was suited to match the surroundings of a forest with the shades being brown, yellow, and green in hue. Two pincers were located on this bug as well which made defending itself solid, evolution favoured these creatures. This thing wouldn’t have many natural predators. The saliva seemed to have some kind of poisonous properties as well as once bitten swelling would occur. This meant these things were not to be trifled with in the forests though why anyone would run in the other direction was beyond her. Gosei however may find it interesting, him and that giant spider of his. Hell these things were probably a use of food for that thing.

Aarnz Hound was the next creature in the index and she read about it with more vigour than the insect previous. Ranging to be about the same size as the insect she figured that from time to time these creatures would encounter each other and the hound would hunt the bug in a pack so maybe it did have some predators. The colour scheme for these creatures were less impressive as the bug as it was only found in either black and brown hues. They relied on their fangs and claws, which were larger than your usual canines, for defence. She also found that running from these creatures only encouraged them to chase you so that was something to avoid when fleeing these creatures. As the saliva of the previous bug caused swelling the saliva of this creature seemed to be of a medical view. It appeared as though it could be used to heal some low to mid level poisons. That would mean that this thing was in high demand. Perhaps she could use this to ask for more when selling it. One would think that anything that could be used to heal people would be sold at a higher wholesale cost. These were two interesting creatures, opposing factions yet in the same area. One to heal, one to injure.

Blood Ink Mixture

Effect: The user will learn how to make the mixture of blood and ink used in the Mekuraban seals.
Special: Handseals after over the mixture: Snake, Dragon
Drawback: This mixture can only be applied three times before it must be created again.
Description: The user must take some of their blood, already naturally filled with their own natural chakra and mix it with ink. This in is simple mundane ink that is used in writing. The real power comes from the blood and the two handseals formed over the bottle of the mixture. The handseals must be formed over the mixture after is has been mixed together in a small bottle.
Limit: After learning this technique, the user will not have to learn it again to utilize any other Mekuraban Seal.

Just training the technique, not actually preparing the mixture yet as I need to buy ink.

Amarante began to bellow. ”But why do you need my blood?!” she cried, frustrated that her masters were holding knives and blood draining materials whilst demanding a sacrifice of the precious liquid. ”We need it to prepare the mixture necessary for the seal” Uchiha gently explained. ”It’s not like we’re trying to kill ya!” Hoshigaki then worryingly added. It was of course a precarious proposition to simply take someone’s blood and so Uchiha decided that it was probably best to show Amarante by draining his own blood first. He sat himself down and comforted Amarante, taking this opportunity to show her what was to happen. He had with him three blood bags, tubes, and draining needles. Tying off his upper arm he found his vein and pierced himself. Amarante watched as the blood spurt from his arm and bean to trail through the tube. It was quite euphoric to watch. The blod trailed the tube and quickly filled the bag, in about ten minutes there was quite the pint. Cringing as she learned that this was something she herself would have to do in a moment she watched as he demonstrated what was to happen next in this seals process.

Bringing out a half filled vial of ink, Uchiha took his blood and mixed it in with the ink. The two liquids didn’t exactly go well with each other, the blood was rather thick, at least thicker than the ink used. It would be deemed precious while this ink was generic. Using a spoon to mix the liquids together he would wait until it was adequately fused together and then stop. He’d then form two hand signs and infused the mixture with his chakra momentarily and allow the mixture to rest. ”The ink is simply a means to an end. The real power comes from the blood and hand signs. They are what creates the seal.” Nodding in understanding Amarante was ready to try it herself however Hoshigaki stepped in. ”I’ll show you again, just so you fully understand the jutsu” he proclaimed as he tightened a thread around his upper arm to reveal a vein. Amarante was sure he just wanted to do some bloodletting. It was therapeutic after all. He pierced himself with the needles as Amarante was getting ready to do the same to herself. By the time Hoshigaki was fully drained Amarante was around a quarter of the way through her own letting. He spoke a little bit more on the concoction this time as he prepared it all for himself.

”You have to be rather gentle with the stirring of the blood and ink” he explained as he took the vial of black ink that Uchiha had brought. ”You also have to be careful about the amount of blood and ink you mix together. About a fifty fifty ratio is what you’re looking for” he further explained. He was gentle as he mixed the two liquids together as one though he had one final tid bit of information for her as well before he got to the hand seals. ”You also have to understand that the power comes from the blood and chakra. It has nothing to do with the ink” Uchiha had already stated this though she supposed he just wanted to really lock it into her mind. By the time Hoshigaki had finished mixes the blood and ink together Amarante was about three quarters through her own bloodletting. ”The hand seals for this jutsu are Snake and Dragon. Infuse your chakra with the mixture completely. Engulf this liquid with it. Understanding that this was going to be used for a chain like seal the amount of chakra was indeed relevant. Locking an opponent’s limbs was incredibly useful in battle as well as interrogation. Amarante took a moment to ponder on just how Gosei was doing.

With Hoshigaki’s mixture complete Amarante finished with her bloodletting and prepared herself to begin creating the mixture. Uchiha gave her a vial of ink as Amarante set a bandaid in the crease of her elbow at the piercing point of the needle. Removing the tube from the bag she set down the vial of ink and began to pour her blood into the compound. She watched as it flowed into the ink in a blob like fashion and waited until the vial was about twice as full as when the ink itself was only in it. She then took her spoon and began to stir gently. As she did the mixture began to become one, bit by bit, and while it took a while it soon became nicely mixed. She then had to move onto the point where she doused the mixture with her chakra and she slowly formed the two hand signs. ’Snake, Dragon’ Upon the forming of the seals her chakra boomed and left her hands, moving into the blood ink. She drenched her chakra into the blood ink. The liquid started to ripple as she did so and she made sure she completely filled the mixture with her chakra before looking to her masters for the next stage of instruction in learning the Chain Seal techniques.

Mekuraban Seal Drawing/Placement

Effect: The before the user can write the Mekuraban seal on a person or anything, they must first learn the special way how to draw the seals.
Special: Requires Ink and some sort of painting or marking tool just to learn. When used in battle this technique requires a mixture of blood and ink.

Description: Before the user can use the Mekuraban seals, they must first master the correct way of drawing the seals. This technique is rather easy to learn, as the proper way of drawing a Mekuraban seal is only slightly different than regular kanji drawing. The user must draw the kanji so that the ink stays wet for the most amount of time possible, and runs so that the kanji drawing won’t lose its power.
Limit: After learning this technique, the user will not have to learn it again to utilize any other Mekuraban Seal.

With the mixture now made Amarante was now to learn how to drawn the seal before learning how to activate the seal. This would be completed in two actions. The first action would be her learning how to actually draw the seal, before the second stage was to be completed this was a must. The second stage was to learn how to drawn the seal in battle. Uchiha handed her a paint brush as well as Hoshigaki, and spoke. ”No this is the proper way to draw the seal" he stated as he took his vial and brush and started to paint. As the bloodied ink stained the ground Amarante watched as the seal took shape. With every brush of the seal, every curve of ink that was created Amarante took it in as Uhchiha continued his explination. "The seal must be drawn in a manner so that the ink stays wet for the most amount of time possible, and runs so that the kanji drawing won’t lose its power" he explained as Amarante watched the seal drawn to its completion.

As she watched it be drawn she realised what he meant by that statement as the ink was at almost the exact level of density all the way through. There was not an inch of the seal that was dryer than the rest of the seal, it all ran very fluidly, and she realised that this was to prolong the use of the seal. It was now her turn to draw the seal which she found was very much the exact same as the standard style of drawing kanji. Taking her brush she dabbed it into the vial and got her brush damp with the bloodied ink. She had made sure not to get too much on her brush, taking was she theorized to be just enough and drew the kanji for chains on the ground before taking her time to ever so lightly spread out the ink in such a way it was even, unsmugged, and ever so pretty. It was a vice of hers. Now that she had finished drawing she looked it over herself. It appeared to be of a decent nature. Looking to Uchiha for approval however he seen some slight fault with his damned Sharingan eyes.

"If you look closely you can see it's slightly more damp in this area than this area. Try one more time" he encouraged of the blonde whom while she thought it was acceptable tried again at his request. She dabbed her brush into the bloodied up ink for a second time. This time she took a little more ink on the brush hoping to be able to evenly distribute the ink a bit further this time. She didn't want to have to do this easy task a third time, twice was more than enough. She slowly yet effortlessly drew the kanji for the word chains and made she she was meticulous for the effort. She drew each and every curve with a tightened precision, every line with a certain constraint that allowed for perfect lines. And she made sure each line was pretty damned it, stupid vice. Finishing up she found that Uchiha seemed to agree that it was indeed adequate and very pretty. Damned if she was gonna let him get away without saying it's pretty. Stupid vice.

It was then time to move onto actually using this technique in combat though what Amarante found to be the case was far from what she actually liked to hear. She spent that time being perfect with the kanji only to be told simply drawing a line on the opponent was enough for the seal to take effect. Pissed she was put through a few combat drills to properly learn. As a shadow clone of Uchiha attacked her she side stepped and flung her brush against the arm of the clone. She missed at first as the brush was hard to move to attack someone so used to dealing with Kunai blades. It was unarmed combat though so she managed to hold her own. As more and more fists came toward her Amarante kept her guard up and made her move. As a wayward limb was flung at her she stuck out her brush and tagged Uchiha with it. She managed to get him with enough of a strike to allow for a successful mark and with that she figured it was now time to move onto activating the seal.

Mekuraban Seal Activation

Description: After the user applies the Seal, they can wait as long as they want before actually activating it, adding a strategic value to any seal of the Mekuraban. After applying the seal the user must learn the handseals and the amount of chakra needed to activate the seal that has been drawn.
Limit: After learning this technique, the user will not have to learn it again to utilize any other Mekuraban Seal.

Next was the actual activation of the technique and Uchiha explained to Amarante that at first, before activating the seal of chains, Amarante was to work on a few more basic techniques as she was new to the Mekuraban Seals. She was to simply activate a blank seal at first. He showed her the hand signs and she went through them on her own for a while. It was just a combination of three simple hand signs, 'Dragon, Dog, and Boar.' She flowed through them a few times, letting her hands become accustom the the motions of forming seals, flipping through them quickly over and over again. When she had had enough of that she moved onto building chakra as she slowly formed the signs. As she built up the chakra for the seals activation she found that the dragon seal built up an unnatural style of chakra. She had been told in the past it was a wood style element of chakra, something she had yet to dabble into if she was going to do so at all.

Next in line was the dog, which she had again been told that was the element of Ice Techniques, agian something she was closer to dabbling in though was unsure of if she was actually going to make the jump. The combination of the two made an interesting build up. Finally the addition of the water element of the Boar really made the chakra concoction something special. This activation jutsu felt somewhat great, it was as if she was in total control of the technique, moreso than other techniques. She supposed that's why it was a sealing technique. You couldn't seal something you had no control over. At any rate it was an interesting technique and she wanted to practice as soon as possible. As she was practicing Uchiha had set up and empty seal that would merely glow brightly upon the activation of the seal. Forming hand signs, Dragon, Dog, and Boar, Amarante unleashed her chakra and pushed it toward the seal.

In response the seal glew a bright red colour which symbolised a potential activation. "That was good now try again" Uchiha instructed as Amarante was complimented by Hoshigaki upon a successful completion on the first try. A second time was just as easy as Amarante formed the seals once again and pushed her chakra toward the seal and attempted to activate the seal. With the seal glowing red once more Amarante proved that it wasn't a fluke the first time and she was able to perform the activation effortlessly. Next was something a little harder and Amarante watch as Uchiha demonstrated the next seal, a D ranked seal, that involved something like the chain seal however involved bandages instead of the weights with the higher ranked technique. Uchiha formed the hand signs and began to build his chakra. As he pushed it to the seal and activated the technique Amarante noted that he had needed to prolong the time he utilised his chakra.

It was now her turn to perform the technique and she flicked through the hand signs quite rapidly upon being given the okay to begin. As she built her chakra she once again noted the distinct feel of the hand signs that created the technique but moved on without to much extra thought and began to perform the sealing technique. As she pushed her chakra out to the seal Amarante watched as from the seal bandages burst through the seal and attempted to grasp onto something within the confines. Whilst there wasn't anything in 'trap' previously for it to do so in the wake of the seals activation Hoshigaki threw in a branch and allowed the bandages to wrap around its form. Continuing to produce chakra for the technique Amarante watched as the bandages constricted the branch tightly, completely enthralling the branch within themselves. All in all it may have been time to try the real thing.

History:
This technique was created long ago by a group of monk ninja called the Mekuraban, who were well versed in the knowledge of seals. They looked for a way for Seals to be used readily in battle and they created many seals in this manner. This was the first of many.

The monks realized that the blood inside of their own bodies and the bodies of every other trained ninja was rich with chakra. These monks devised a way to mix their blood with ink so that they could write their seals on anything, their own bodies, the bodies of others, or the area around the opponent to create traps.

These ninja spent their whole lives devising hundreds of seals, although only a few have survived the test of time. The surviving scrolls have been carefully copied and are now in the libraries of every Hidden Ninja Village in the world. This seal in particular was heralded as possibly the easiest to learn and the one with the most uses.

Appearance: Seal of Chains
This Seal is simply a line drawn across the enemy’s body. The Seal will restrict the movement of the body part it is drawn on.

-NOTE- this seal does not have to be drawn on a person’s skin; if the user draws it in the opponent’s clothes the same effect will occur.

Effect:
This Seal only has One Stage: The Seal exists and has its effect, but will fade after sometime. This effect will last for a period of 15 posts in total. But after 12 posts the invisible weights will start to disappear and by 15 posts they will be gone.

Description:
The user of this seal will paint with a brush or some other marking tool a line across an opponent’s limb. This limb will then be incapable of moving or being used. For example if the user paints the Seal on the opponent’s arms they will lie limp by the opponent’s sides. It is not as if the limbs are numb, they are just unusable. This effect will last for a period of 15 posts in total. But after 12 posts the invisible weights will start to disappear and by 15 posts they will be gone.

If the opponent tries to move their limb they will encounter an invisible weight that is proportional to how much force and strength they are using to try and lift or use the limb. This Seal has mainly been used to restrict movement of either the arms or the legs, sealing other parts of the body are awkward and therefore not used as much.

The Seal’s power and the amount of weight on the opponent depend solely on the level of skill of the seal drawer. The levels are as follows:

If the user is “D” Ranked- The weight is 400 lbs
If the user is “C” Ranked- The weight is 450 lbs
If the user is “B” Ranked- The weight is 500 lbs
If the user is “A” Ranked- The weight is 550 lbs
If the user is “S” Ranked- The weight is 600 lbs


Mixing the user’s blood with any kind of ink does this, the Seal’s power does not come from the type of ink or blood, but rather how the seal is drawn.

Placement Requirements:
The user must beforehand, mix their blood with ink. They must have a bottle of ink prepared for the battle as trying to mix blood and ink during the battle will leave the user open to attack. The user must also be versed in the way the Seals of the Mekuraban are drawn, which can be done after learning the specific seal drawing jutsu.

It was now time for Amarante to perform the actual seal of chains technique and she was tasked with activating the seal of chains technique in combat later as well. Sucked. Forming the hand signs Amarante prepared the technique whilst Uchiha drew the seal on the ground before her. Amarante then pushed out her chakra and activated the seal. As always with this particular version of the seal it would flash red if performed right and what colour did you think it was? Red of course. Now it was time to try actually using the right seal on something other than the ground. Uchiha made a clone of himself and allowed Amarante to mark down the seal herself, standing still for the girl this time as the combat stuff was for later. Forming the hand signs for the technique after drawing the seal as pretty as she could, damned vice, she pushed her chakra out and over the seal now on the clone of Uchiha's arm, activating the seal which glowed a bright red and soon the arm hung limply on the clones side.

Any thoughts of success however were quickly dashed as the clone soon began to move its arm somewhat freely. "With your level of development you should be able to weigh my arm down with over 500lbs of weight yet this only feels like 35lbs" the clone spoke to her leaving Amarante a little disgruntled. With no other option, it was a game of trial and error and she had to do it again. This time however she made sure to add a little extra chakra to the ntechnique as well as watch on just how she formed the chakra. With the feel of the hand signs she felt as if she were to be a little more careful with its development in this early stage of learning she'd be able to ingrate the technique into her mind better for future learning and use. She slowed it down a tad as she drew down the seal on the opposite arm of the clone of Uchiha, and once again formed the hand signs and pushed out the chakra she more carefully formed, the seal being drawn damned pretty.

As the seal glowed a bright red in colour Amarante watched as the clones arm again dangled by his side, seemingly weighed down by an invisible force and waited for a quick response from the clone. "About 300lbs this time I must admit" the clone informed her to her delight. With just one extra attempt at the jutsu Amarante was able to reach around ten times more of a yield with her technique than her last attempt, and it was only her second time performing it as well. At any rate Hoshigaki was the next to try the technique's seal for a go and Amarante was more than happy to indulge him. Drawing the seal on his arm, yet again making it the prettiest damned seal her vice would allow her to get away with, she for a third time began to form hand signs. She made this technique very much the same as the last one she did though paid more mind to the chakra as she molded it.

As the seal began to glow and Hoshigaki's arm went limp he found he was able to move it again with great ease, these fucking Hoshigaki and their strength, "I'd say about 350lbs, there's no power behind your technique" he complained. Amarante gave him an evil eye and went to work on his other arm. Drawing the pretty seal again she formed more hand signs and built her chakra. Rather than focusing so much on the molding of the chakra this time however Amarante just decided to allow it to happen naturally and instead just used a whole bunch of it. She pushed as mass amount of chakra over to the seal which began to glow red and then bam! Hoshigaki's arm hung limply by his side and Amarante couldn't help but smirk. She had him and he knew it. "Well now, I guess this is just about right" he painfully smiled, reluctantly admitting that she had managed something good this time around.

Break Enchantment can reverse even an Instantaneous effect. For each such effect, user makes a Class Level check (1d20 + (5 per Class Level), maximum +15) against a Save of the Jutsu performed. Success means that the creature is free of the Jutsu, Curse, or Effect. If the Jutsu is one that cannot be dispelled by Dispel GenJutsu, Break Enchantment works only if that Jutsu is "B" Rank or lower.

Something was wrong... It was as if the word around her was different. Something was just off about it but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Something. Something... She walked along the roads of the Leaf Village trying to place her finger on just what it was but she couldn't figure it out at all. It all seemed normal. The people were going about their busniess as always and she was just out for an afternoon stroll. She couldn't sense anyone at all but that was weird, she would susually be asble to sense some of the jonin or stronger chuunin making their way around the village, doing there thing. Where were they? Was the village that busy at the moment? She doubted it, even when on high alert there was always still at least one jonin in the place. So just what was happening. She looked at her reflection in the window of a store as she passed by. It looked fine, it was then she began to suspect the thing that was plaguing her was some sort of genjutsu.

Though she really didn't think it was possible. She would have felt something before, or did she and she just couldn't remember it? That was a likely scenario. The high ranking genjutsu affected people in such a manner so it was more than possible. She then moved to a private location and decided that it was best to remove such an affliction if it were indeed present. Ducking into an ally she made sure she was alone and then began to build up her chakra. If it were a powerful genjutsu it was going to take a lot of chakra to dispel. She focused on building her chakra inside her, the focal point being in her stomach. When she was satisfied that she had managed to build enough up she sent it through her body, flushing her mind, in an attempt to break whatever curse she was under. As her chakra ran through her body she felt somewhat invigorated though in the end...

She still felt it. Even after the flush in her body there was still something off about the place she was standing. The world she was now existing in was something unfamiliar yet easily recognisable. This was her world right? She didn't even know anymore, it was just so foreign. She decided a second attempt was necessary and she built up more chakra, a pool larger than the previous one and she set the focal point of this pool of chakra into her stomach once again. This time she felt a large swirl of energy deep within her belly and she felt ready. Ready to escape this world and head back to her one. She let loose the chakra inside of her and felt a second burst of energy as she attempted to escape the reality that plagued her. The wave washed over her mind and tried to dislodge anything that may have been there but still when she looked around her, she was still in this strange place. This strange reality.

She moved back out into the public eye, sitting outside a cafe. The people around her, the people not around her. There was something attacking her, she knew it, and yet her efforts were worthless, all for nothing. She sat at the outdoor table and watched. No one was interacting with her, as waitress's came to check on the customers they ignored her, leaving her be on her own. It was as if she wasn't even there. She turned to face the street before the cafe, it was filled with people bustling the sidewalks. She waited, taking note of the people walking by. A child, his mother. A group of people, youths and other teenagers chatting away, business men, a child and his mother. Wait, had she seen that before? Was it repeating itself over and over? She wasn't sure. Again another attempt at breaking the spell, she built up her chakra and allowed it to wash over her mind. Shattered. Everything shattered, revealing merely a giant red eye, twisting its pupil before she could handle anything. She didn't know for sure but she could hear something, maybe. "About time-"
