Perhaps he’d over worked himself. Maybe his legs were in such pain that the rest of his body couldn’t help but protest in their stead. However, that breath gave away his location quicker than a signal flare in the dead of night. Yang Sze quickly whirled about, blade flashing with the severity of his speed. From there, the attack was caught by Aclime’s own, the clashing steel resulting in a knockback, sending to two a few meters away from eachother. By the time Aclime had the chance to recover again, Yang Sze had once more disappeared from sight.
This time, Aclime was able to see the trail of footprints left behind by a movement so powerful. It suggested another front assault. He figured if he attempted to use the technique for a short instance, he could meet the attack and launch a counter of his own. And if he failed… Before he could finish that thought, Yang Sze was upon him three fairly vicious attack were launched at him. The first two, he managed to maneuver about and dodge, without moving too much. The third attack, more or less, was deflected as he attempted using the flat side manipulation to guide the attack away.
After that though, he needed space. He needed… to retreat. Without thinking, he channeled a small amount of chakra into his legs, performing a shunshin, his last he’d beable to do before straining and tearing his muscles. But as it appeared, Yang Sze had been waiting for just that. With another intense moment of speed, the legendary master appeared before Aclime, striking him in the chest. The resulting fall was a momentous crash backward, leaving Aclime prone with the point of the sword pointing to his throat.
“I was waiting for that. You’re out now, aren’t you?” The point was removed, the plat of the blade being what had struck him in the chest. It seemed Yang Sze’s first motives was to remove the ability to shunshin. By this means, Aclime didn’t have a crutch to depend on as he was. A pause in the training would issue here, allowing Aclime to catch his breath. When the training resumed he would be allowed to rest his legs for a few hours, instead focusing on other techniques. So to skip forward a few hours…
Yang Sze finally permitted the training on Shapeless side step to continue. There were no more body flickers to utilize by this time either. That meant Aclime would have to be careful this time. However, he wouldn’t just be fighting this time. Instead, he’d be running to build endurance or rather, or rather a number of shadow clones. But just where? All over, that was where he was sent. Outside the dojo was wilderness for far stretches of land. Attached to his feet were a number of weights, designed to increase the resistence upon his legs. And while the clones would go build endurance, Aclime himself would continue the training and sparring session.
He decided sparring with Yang Sze, he would be as accurate as he could, in order to put forth as much effort with as little loss of energy as possible. Starting from the shapeless stance, he made a brief signal to Yang Sze that he was ready. The time he’d lifted his head back up… he was gone again. Kicking as hard as he could off the ground, Aclime pushed to the side, quickly moving from his current position in order to dodge. As it would it would happen, Yang Sze’s attack missed, but he continued going. Remembering the master’s speed, Aclime gave chase, using his inperfected shapeless side step to move closer. As he started gaining, he thought he might be starting to get the hand of this. At least, that was until an unexpected counter came about.
