But that was not all, apart from that that it would empower his control over the elements in the form of ninjutsu it would also boost his by far mediocre Taijutsu capabilities. First of all his eyesight would vastly increase. Right now he could read a letter from fifteen meters distance, which quite meant something. Apart from that this increased awareness of his surroundings would also power his reflexes.
So, with the Ryuugan granting him the power over the elements, giving him extra eyesight and quicker reflexes he would take another step to prepare himself for the battle. He would open his third eye. The eye of the Kagura, a most intriguing concept that allowed him to have even more battle awareness as he now gained the ability to sense intricate chakra systems. He was quite good with that skill.
In front of him the chakra of the snake would roar, it seemed that the bugger had a lot of the oh so powerful light blue life energy that could be molded to do the most astounding magic tricks at any time. Yet the most interesting part was that the chakra supply of the snake wasn’t that much larger than Gosei’s. In fact, they were roughly the same, like two glasses of water, which despite boating different size still held the same amount of water.
This was a good thing as Gosei was most ascertain that due to his professionalization in the arts of medical ninjutsu he would boast a far greater control over said chakra, giving him effectively more chakra to sling around. So all in all, despite the fact that they had the same amount of chakra, Gosei could use it more effectively and thus it counted as if Gosei just boasted more chakra than the serpent, this battle could be winneable.
Then it would suddenly happen: The serpent would lunge forward, striking at the Hokage with it’s fangs bare. Gosei was however not one to make this happen so quickly. Despite being a bit overwhelmed by the speed of this sudden lunge he had somewhat seen it coming. It was a move that every normal snake also made when hunting whilst utilizing poison. Another good thing to know, this serpent indeed boasted poison.
