Haha it's ok, we were all noobs at some point!

1) for any actual techniques, you train them like any other technique (just rp stuff out for Tp). Dice rolls only play into making items.

2) yes, it's a technique so it is rp-ed out

3) again, the dice is only for making items. This should make the whole craft check thing clearer, but if its still fuzzy I can explain it in more detail

4)(roll+exp)*difficulty if greater than or equal to price/5 then its complete.

5) so if you are continuously crafting, you get a craft check every half a week. As long as you don't train during this time you will be uninterrupted, period.

Higher learning give one exp per time learned to a SINGLE crafting area. If I have 10 bookbinding exp and 5 scroll rolling, and I learn higher learning FOR bookbinding, I will have 11 bookbinding exp and 5 scroll rolling.

I'm not really sure what you meant by the last 2/3 of your post. Ill try going through it when I get home.

i get Higher Learning now, thanx and as for the other question i wondered if i would put TP from two different crafting into the same crafting

Say if i have Puppetry and Bowyer Crafting and i would create an item, first a puppet item and then a bow, would i pool the TP earned into the same crafting?

Edit: I guess a better question is if i have to have crafting twice to go into both puppetry and bowyer crafting, like:

Misc
* Puppeteer Crafting
* Bowyer Crafting

Or could i simply write "Crafting" and then learn the techniques for creating puppets and bows in order to make the items?

You don't gain TP from making items, you just gain crafting experience.

And you need to sacrifice a misc slot for each crafting area. So puppeteer and Bowyer would take up two misc slots total. Then you learn each's tech and start crafting.

Do i put the crafting experience towards my crafting area or just in general crafting

Crafting Experience goes into the sub-catigory that you crafted.

Example:
-I crafted 3 Katana's (overview)
-so then I get 1 experience point toward Slashing Weapon Crafting (sub-category)
-You list this sub-category under weapon smith, which is the overview category and requires one Misc slot to learn into.

If the Result times the Difficulty equals double or triple the current Item Points, then the completed task is done by cutting the time by 2 or 3. Other multiples reduce the time in the same manner.


What's the point of this? If I start crafting on Monday, I have to wait until Thursday to get a crafting check. If it turns out I crafted in a third or half the time I can't travel back in time and finish on Tuesday and start on my next item. Technically it stil takes a minimum of 3.5 days to finish a single item no matter what (unless you up the difficulty)

Alright so I am pretty noob as at as crafting goes, so I got some questions:

1) do you have to buy crafting supplies for an object in a shop? Or can you just do it in the craft thread?

2) can you Learn the higher learning jutsu in the crafting thread during the 3.5 days? Like if I am building a kunai and I rp it out extensively, would I be able to count that as higher learning training?

3) so it says if your roll and difficulty product exceed the item points by double,triple,etc... Does that mean you can attempt to build two of the item at once for double the item points?

You can have the crafting roll done right away, you just have to wait for the time to pass before doing your next craft attempt.

1) yes, bought in a shop.

2)No, because you are focus'd on your craft. That entire time you would be wrapped up in crafting your item.

3)No, it just reduces the crafting time. But essentially you can build double because if you cut the time down in half, then you can make another craft with the same stuff and same roll to cut the time in half again. Effectively making twice the amount in the same amount of time of a normal craft.
