Layla sat there struggling with the chopsticks before her hand was enclosed over by an larger hand, fixing her fingers on the thin wooden eating objects. Layla's skin tingled with an butterflies floating across them as her hand was held. Her ears burned in shame as her hand was guided to the bowl and picked up an bite size of rice. It was then guided to her lips where she opened them and took the food eating it, her cheek coloring up to an dark dark gray.

Her eyes moved up the arm, until her pools of amber were staring into his dark pools of purple. Her soul was in her eyes, an passionate look was in her eyes along with look of shame and hope. Her feelings were mix about this vary second with the whole meal, she hoped she would be good for the man. Because if she couldn’t hold chopsticks correctly, what did that mean for her later with the man? There was now suddenly a lot to learn, but she somehow knew that he was good, he wouldn't change his colors with her, would he? But her pale gray lips moved,

Her free hand moved up to his cheek rubbing gently. Her hand removed itself before it went behind his head. If she wasn’t careful they wouldn’t end up eating anything at this rate.

Immediately Layla confessed that the food was good. Gosei immediately noticed three things, first of all her eyes, in which he was drowning again. Second that she was blushing again, enhancing her cuteness to unimaginable levels. It was at moments like this that he wanted to hold her and never let go. But thirdly and most importantly, she called him her love. Around him everything went black, fading out of sight, leaving nothing but the bright form of the lady in front of him. Faintly he reminded that she had said it before, but it was this second time, now that they didn't have James standing around that that singly tiny four letter word really hammered themselves into the Kazeraikou's brain.

Her hand found his cheek again, rubbing it. Gosei could not resist closing his eyes as her fingers danced over his skin, slightly tilting his head towards her hand. He felt it moving towards the back of his head. Almost instinctively he yearned for what he expected to come, but her hand suddenly retracted. Was she teasing him? If that was the case it was quite effective. His oculi opened towards her gaze, as his hands grabbed hers before she could bring it back to her body. Only one glance overthrew what he thought of the girl. It had not been a tease, either she was too shy, or simply did not wish to make a move at this time. It was so different from what he was used to, people wanting him for what he was, in sharp contrast to this woman who seemed to fall for who he was, her entire character was invigorating. "I'm glad you like it... Love." He merely said, letting her hand slip out if his, they had to eat at some point indeed, so he grabbed his bowl and chopsticks, readying a first bite. "I have loved this food since first time I ate it about ten years ago."

Gosei had moved into her touch, her heart becoming an hot throbbing mess, as her eyes shone with love for this man. His actions alone made her love him even more as he caught her hand as his eyes opened up as soon as she stopped, her look of slight startling but she was still relaxed, she trusted him to the point of an no return honestly. He looked at her, like he had an thought about her but then it seemed to relax out and he spoke to her, calling her his love. Tonight had to be truly one of magical means or an large dream,

She spoke once she managed to get an bite of fish into her mouth, her lips opened as she asked her musing question with out really thinking as her mind was disacted by someone,

A nod affirmed her question. "It was after a mission, during which I had live on nothing but water, crackers and soldier pills for two days. Once I had finished it I decided that I would eat whatever they served in the first place in the first town I came past. It turned out to be a street vendor who made delicious unagi." Those were the days, when Gosei was still active in the field. He chuckled. "It was a mission where I had to steal an item from a targets pocket. I had hidden myself in the rafters above my targets dining table, who usually ate alone. Unfortunately, the guy had decided to eat outside the door for two consecutive days, leaving me to wait for two days wedged between two beams. The first time he didn't start cooking I was bummed, the second time... I was pretty angry"

She was still being clumsy with the chopsticks, adorably trying to readjust her hands every time on the two sticks. It was adorable to see her attempt and make less than subtle spying attempts. To a shinobi as experienced as Gosei it looked amateuristic, which in its own was exceptionally cute. He eyed his own bowl, he had already eaten the largest portion of his sweetened fish, which was more or less enough, he continued eating since she evidently wasn't done yet. "Don't worry, eating like this will become easier quickly. You need just a bit of practice. You're doing quite good now." He said, beaming her a smile. On the other hand, he didn't really want this to end quickly either, so he moved a bit slower and more calculated, allowing the lady to copy his mannerisms more easily.

Layla's fingers adjusted again after she took an bite of fish, this was good, the had been good, but this fish was better then the rice. Her head nodded as he spoke his story about 10 years ago, intrusting, so how much older was he? But she didn’t ask that as she was just a little busy trying to snag the rest of the fish. He was using the things like they were apart of him, extensions of his hands, she wished for an freaking spoon for this second. She finally was getting a little better with them as she snagged the fish and brought it up to her lips eating it smoothly.

Well, who isn’t perfect? But that is good to know about that insight of his past personality.

Her eyes sparkled at his words that she was doing good, that was an relief to hear this news for her, but her cheeks burnt themselves as she drowned in his eyes again. She felt like she was failing at this chopstick thing, plus his story had been intrusting for her hear. He slowed down allowing her to steal some glances at his hands trying to gain an better handle on these things that were like spawns of Satan at this point of time. Her fish was almost gone, she had enjoyed it a lot. She carefully moved the bowl to the center and placed the chopsticks down as she finished. Her eyes turned fully to the guy beside of her, waiting to see if he was done eating or not. She wasn’t sure about this totally but she would flow with things as they came along with.

I wonder if he is done or just really enjoying the food now.

To not show that he was already done, and to avoid embarrassing Layla in the process Gosei took a few more bites of rice after she finished. The fish was already gone. He put his bowl back on the table, along with the chopsticks. Leaning his back against the couch he would stretch his arms up for a second, sliding back into a comfortable pose quickly after the short stretch. When he looked sideways at the girl she was locked on a most cute pose. She had he head slightly tilted as she had before. "I don't hope, I know you will." She was blushing again, her cheeks, rather than reddening, turning a slighter darker shade of grey.

Extending his arms Gosei wrapped his hands around the girls shoulder, hugging her close against his chest. "You look even cuter when you blush." He whispered to her. For the first time on years, after having done nothing for a single day the Godaimed felt years of stress and tiredness crushing down on his shoulders. He had been a wreck all this time, running back and forth between his office and his bed, spending an incredible short amount of time in the latter one. He rested his head on her shoulder. "I am tired of everything, Layla." Not specifying what he exactly meant, though the connection with his career choice was quite clear.

Layla smiled, as he finished his meal. He moved to stretch moving to an more comfortable place on the sofa. her blush deepening at his words that he knew she would get better. her hands played slightly in her lap as he moved his hand to her shoulder pulling her to his chest. Her body tingled as she moved her hand moving to support herself as he spoke that she looked cuter when she blushed. Her pale gray lips moved into an smile as she blushed deeper then before hand. The marble floor and white walls fell away from his vision, leaving nothing but the girl to see, although at this moment there was nothing else he wanted to see. She pulled his head close, speaking tenderly as she asked him what troubled her love. It was a strange moment, as if the roles had been reversed.

A Hokage naturally doesn’t get much time to rest or sleep.” It went even further though, in the small times of rest that were allotted to him Gosei often lay away, his head still buzzing with thoughts and several matters that troubled him. ”Unfortunately I am not as good in managing my periods of rest as I am in managing the affairs of the village.”

Her other hand moved to his so far untouched cheek, slightly massaging his skin, Unable to resist the Kazeraikou closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling of her caressing his face. Therefore he was surprised when her lips suddenly pressed down on his. Gosei immediately answered her physical plea for love. On her lips all the burdens he had ever carried seemed to melt away into nothingness. It was a most loving kiss, but also of the most basic kind, as they had done up till now. Her life seemed so carefree that it seemed alien to the Kazeraikou. Her responsibilities seemed limited and what she had needed to live was all present at that boardinghouse. Opening his eyes Gosei would look at the beautiful face of the woman that floated above him. Her eyes were still closed, as she licked her lips, as if she was trying to recapture the taste. There was a more practical way to achieve that, as Gosei leaned forward kissing her a second time, closing his eyes. He would however expand on the original idea, attempting to slip his tongue beyond her lips, something that he had longed to do so much since the first time they had locked lips. Around him the world would shatter as they kissed. His arms pulled her more against him, as her warmth against him made him long for her even more.

The hand that was on the back of her head slipped down to her shoulder blades, whereas the other one remained on the small of her back, for now he just wanted to hold her close, and if possible, not let go for a long time.

Gosei blinked at her as she posed her question, her voice shy, as if she almost did not dare ask it. It was a bold proposal, and if anyone else had asked it the Godaime would have called it a grab for power and given a stern ‘No’ in reply. Her face was however so innocent that he could not even begin to imagine Layla as a person hungry for power. That simple fact turned the answer in half a no. ”I hope you understand, but not my work time. I do not want anyone to use you to get a shot at me. Being Hokage is dangerous, but it is my danger. If I promise you that I will not use my free time for more work and come straight back to you? Is that enough for you?” It was an answer in which everything came together, his inability to really deny her anything, his caution ways and Gosei’s tendency to cling every part of all the power he had gathered. However, deep down, Gosei already knew that thanks to the first reason she would eventually gobble up every part of his schedule.

Layla's eyes were drowning in an the purple oculi he spoke replying to her comment about his blushing, it really did make him really beautiful. His words made her blush in response to his whispered words. He adjusted his hands to her small of her back and her shoulder blades, she felt loved, protected would be an good word for her feeling. She could feel him under her body, perplexing really, as her mind was waiting for an answer while being distracted by his heart beat and breathing.

Again her head buried itself in his chest as she whispered back. Gosei’s shoulder felt as if it was on fire as her finger drew another imaginary heart on his skin. As Layla started to play with his hair again indicated by the short soft tugs on his hair which he felt at the base of his skull. Her eyes closed as she relaxed herself on top of him. It was comforting to know that she felt this safe around him, in turn, Gosei felt that he needed to protect her from everything evil in the world. She spoke so careful to him, as if she was scared that she would invoke his anger. The sheer thought of being angry at this adorable creature, who had stolen his heart, seemed like an impossibility.

Fear however, was one of the ways through which Gosei asserted his control over a lot of things. It was also sometimes necessary, his animal helper, Sir Pounce’a’lot, could only be controlled through fear, the creature ate everything that was not imposing enough. It was a reputation that had attached itself to Gosei after rather humiliatingly defeating the Yukikage in an arena battle. Rather than fighting it the Godaime had simply embraced this reputation, fear would keep enemies at bay. Was this why she was so cautious and shy to ask?

”You speak so cautiously, whilst you are so right. Please, don’t be afraid to speak your mind.” He said as he closed his eyes in turn, feeling the warmth that radiated from her body and enjoying how she played with his hair and her finger trailing over her skin. ”It is a habit however, I’ve been doing it for years. Sleep seems insignificant when the shinobi of Suna, Kusa and Iwa are prowling around in the dark. I will try my best, and with you supporting me, I can’t imagine how I can ever fail to change my ways.” Stop skipping meals and sleep, it sounded so easy, but even now, holding the love of this life in his arms, Gosei had a very easy time fighting the sleep that was welling up inside of him. Layla had not known about the affair of the Yukikage and Gosei's fight, so that was not the reason she had asked her question shyly or in such an manner. Truthfully she was an quiet girl, an peace seeking girl who doesnt like getting into arguments or fights. She wasn’t the type to raise hell over little things unless she had an reason to do so, its all in her priorities, love. Then adding in the small fact, she had only known him for an few hours at best?It would be safe to say, she wasn't about to fully kill her heart with words yet. Her ears took in his words, her head nodded on his chest.

Her hand moved from his hair to his head, her hand slowly moved though his hair, messaging his head slowly as she listen to his heartbeat. Her hand moved to rub his neck in an manner that was smoothing as she was listening to his heart beat. Strangely she had to wonder if he didn’t know his heart beat changed depending on his wakefulness or his sleepiness.

Her pale gray lips moved as her voice grew more sleepy sounding, but she still manged to get out the following words from her brain,

her voice had slowed down slightly as she was forcing herself focus as she finished her thought,

she was on the edge of sleeping really, her body was tired from this day. but her ear was listening to his heartbeat as if she was waiting for it tell her that he was going to sleep.

Her cheek rubbed his chest when she nodded. Her fingers suddenly massaged his head. Gosei made a short soft purring sound, as he relaxed under her renewed touch. Out of concentration he now started to feel sleepy again. Was she listening for that? Gosei wondered, noticing how her head laid right upon his heart. He had almost forgotten that she knew a bit about being a medic, it was not unimaginable. Although these thoughts crossed his mind they were immediately pushed aside when Layla spoke. Determining if she was sleepy or not was far easier than it was for Gosei, who had become a master at hiding his physical status. Her manner of speaking slowed and the pauses became longer, as the yawns lingered at the bottom of her speech.

Along with a promise to help him better himself, but more importantly she professed her love for Gosei. ”I love you too, I am starting to believe that you are the best thing that has happened to me, my own angel.” He held her tight, hoping that he would not wake up tomorrow and all of this turning out to have been a most beautiful dream. He softly kissed her forehead. Under his lips her skin still felt real.

The sleep was creeping into his brain, and although his natural reflex was to fight it he knew that this was not what he should do, or more importantly, what Layla would want. Gosei sighed, and tiredness started to take over his very body. He tried to relax, and holding Layla, this turned out to be incredibly easy to achieve. He closed his eyes, and if nothing interrupted he would slip into a blissful sleep.

Layla felt his arms around her tighten as he spoke of his love, she almost missed the fact he thought of her as angel. But she has done something that the one she called mother had done to her to put her to sleep at night when they were moving about. The woman might had been blind but she had been one of the few who was an healer. But back to now Layla's mind was giving into sleep, her mind was bring her into an state that she was hearing her nightly voices in her mind,

Her blood father showed up, walking in his old age. Her mind took it willingly enough, all her questions to him had vanish as she looked at him, but he spoke to her as he held her in his arms,

He vanished to be replaced with the most important man in her life, She then fell into an dream fill sleep about him until she would wake in the morning hopefully in his arms to tell her she had not dreamed this all up, because of the simple fact. Love is real, real is love

Dreams had never been Gosei’s thing, rather, if he ever had them they were usually filled with everything that he dreaded to go wrong. This night however, none of that occurred. His dreams were those of the future. A future, that was hopefully filled with the woman he held tight in his arms, all of it beautiful. For Gosei, the quiet night of sleep he had right now was extremely exceptional. There was however another habit that was hard to kick.

As always he awoke on the same time in the morning, which was far too early, way before any normal person would open one’s eyes. He should have gotten up now to prepare himself to go to work. Although it was a level higher and therefore too far away to hear, the Kazeraikou knew that his alarm clock was ringing in his bedroom without anyone to answer it. However, the moment Gosei realized that the girl was still here, soundly asleep in his arms he immediately decided that going to the tower today was out of the question, at least going on time was not going to happen.

He had never felt so rested or slept so good. Whether this was due to the soothing presence of Layla, or because of the Godaime had through her finally found some measure of peace he had been lacking in his life was a question that he could not answer yet. One thing he knew for sure however was that she was still here in his arms and asleep. Careful not to wake her he tried to slip back into sleep, but it would not come.

The alternative however was certainly not a bad one. Seeing the beauty sleeping in his grasp was a sight that simply could not fail to melt his heart. Under normal circumstances she was already adorable, but seeing her asleep on his chest made Layla look like the most beautiful thing in the world. And most importantly, she was his. Her slow breaths indicated that she had not awoken yet, so for now Gosei settled with doing one of best things to do in the world until she would wake up on her own; until then he would merely observe how the beauty slept on him.

Layla was never one to wake up right away, she wasn't the best ninja in waking up at all. Frankly she never could remember how she managed to get the leaf headband in the first place. But it wasn’t until she started to wake up at first light of the sun rising. The first thing that changed was the fact her breathing didn’t change yet, but rather her hand moved in trying to bring her 'pillow' closer to herself. Then her mouth opened in a yawn as she rubbed her cheek on her 'pillow'.

It was heaven.

The first thing she heard was, thumping of her pillow's heartbeat, then her eyes opened an crack as she turned her head back to look at gosei's face. Her lips smiled as she closed them again and made soft happy noise as she contently tried to wake up faster. It kinda failed. Her lips muttered softly to herself,

"it wasn't an dream."

She was still tangled up with her heart, who was awake before her but hadn't left her yet. She was glad about that, if he had left she would have questioned her sanity again. She wouldn’t turn back to her insanity though over him. Her hand moved to touch his cheeking, just feeling it with her fingertips. She was so new at this, loving someone, that it was borderline scary of its self of her own feelings that lived in her heart now. Her pale gray lips moved into an smile as she muttered,

"Good morning love."

honestly she didn't want to move, she just wanted to feel herself melting over him as she moved her head back to stare at him. she moved her body finally she would, if allowed, to kiss him good morning.

A yawn and her hand trailing over his chest, searching for something instinctively, probably a pillow, were the first signs of Layla waking up. Her cheek rubbed over his skin as she turned her head to gaze upon Gosei lazily. She smiled and purred as it seemed to dawn on her where she exactly was, or rather, on top of whom. ”Hard to believe that, isn’t it?” Gosei replied, stroking her silvery strands of hair. And hard to believe it was, things had moved faster than was normal in any way, it was only yesterday morning that Gosei had lived alone, well, alone with James. Her hand, unable to find a pillow once again trailed over his cheek. He should already have had breakfast by now, but he had been unable to do anything since Layla was still on top of him and he didn’t want to wake her too early. Or at least, that was what Gosei was telling himself, deep down he knew that he simply did not want to go anywhere at this very moment for some very obvious reasons.

”Good morning to you too.” It was strange how their relationship had developed at this neck-breaking speed, but feeling her body rub against his as she pressed her voluptuous lips against his was more than sufficient to not only erase his doubts, but to also reinforce his hope in their mutual future. Half a second later their locked lips would drive out every single thought, leaving only love behind. Gosei slightly squeezed the girl against him as their lips were locked in passion. After what seemed an eternity they would once again part, again to soon for the Kazeraikou’s liking. He ran his hand through her hair, ruffling it a bit. ”Eventually we would need to take breakfast and a shower, wouldn’t we?” He asked, the question was purely rhetorical, since of course they could not stay on the couch forever, no matter how much they wanted to.

Her lips touched his, her eyes closing she had meant for an tender good morning kiss was turned into an passionate one in mere seconds. Her hands moved to find his hands, her legs moving her upwards into him slightly as she felt like she was his world for an mere few seconds as they kissed, they parted finally her chest was moving up and down, for her mind, it was thankfully hidden from his view still. Layla snuggled into her Gosei as he told they were going to have to get food and an shower at some point, he was still here in the morning so she didn’t dream this whole thing up, in an fantasy of afternoon sun. Her eyes sparkled up at him as she spoke,

"well.. can't breakfast be made while we shower, then we eat? Also, what time do you leave for the tower today, love?"

Her mind wasn't thinking of showering together, it was wanting to know how much more time she had with her beloved, though she could be talked into it with a few words of love, as she did want to show Gosei she did love him vary much. Its funny of how rose glasses of quick love can blind people, but with layla, there was something else, there was an heart-warming like that would turn into an love later on for Gosei as she got to know him better. As they did skip the courtship, and wedding and went straight for the honeymoon of this love of theirs.

He could not see much of it, but the feeling of her body moving against his as she tried to catch her breath was arousing. Immediately she snuggled up to his chest again, making it clear that she was in no rush at all to get from the couch. Her proposal was a very logical one to Gosei, they could shower whilst James could make breakfast, Gosei was astounded by how quickly she seemed to have adapted to the idea. ”That’s perhaps even a better plan, Princess.” He spoke, stroking Layla back.

”Leave for the tower? I am the Hokage, I will go when it pleases me to go. And for now, Love, I just can’t bear it to be without you yet.” She had been laying on top of him for hours now, but it was time now for him to at least stretch a bit. Gosei rolled slightly to the left, causing both of them to end up side by side on the sofa, with Layla having her back against the back of the couch. For the first time since last evening Gosei would slip away from her grasp, stand up and stretch his body. Once this was over he would reach forward and grasp the delicate hands of the beauty, gently pulling her up from the couch to her feet. ”Your eyes are beautiful in the morning light,” He couldn’t help but notice and comment affectionately now her face was not framed by her silver hair that blocked out the light.

Holding her hands he would walk backwards, leading Layla to the stairs that were next to the entrance. ”Beautiful ladies first.” The Kazeraikou suavely stated, gesturing up the stairs. This would bring them to the hallway upstairs, its decoration was not much different from below, marble floor and white walls and ceiling decorated with woodblock prints. Directly opposite of the stairs was Gosei’s bedroom. It was a more traditional decorated room than the other ones. The door to the bathroom adjoined to the room was hidden behind a white paper folding screen in an ebony frame, as was the door to the walk in closet. The low placed, kingsize bed was still there in pristine condition since no one had used it, covered in several cushions. The floor was covered in a plushy light grey carpet, adding a sense of warmth to the room and the feet that traversed it. Woodblock prints, depicting several important historical moments in the History of the Konaha branch of the Kazeraikou clan, lined the walls.

”It’s through here.” Once again holding her hands he would say this, leading her past one of the folding screen into the bathroom, which was simply decorated. The marble floor returned, although there were a few white mats to keep the feet warm. Everything was here, shower, Jacuzzi, sink and mirror and all kinds of little bathroom items that were needed in the life of any normal person. ”And? How is the house after this little tour?”
