Then again, that did make sense, it meant this woman’s motherly instincts were still intact. Naoki remained quiet in the back as the other two spoke, and he blinked at those two secrets listed off. A fear of females seemed strange to him, but he hadn’t any idea what Ryota had endured with the ‘bitch of a sister’. Naoki was also surprised by how easily the woman, who he now knew as Akihiro, accepted that her son had been changed into the opposite gender. Against his will, even. He was a little reluctant to follow them into the elaborate home, but he did so anyway, uneasily taking a seat at the same table as Kaori. “Um, I guess,” the classy young man answered that question awkwardly, and sometimes he was glad that his skin had a darker tone. It meant his embarrassed blush was a little harder to spot, and he was relatively quick to recompose himself. “Your mother took that well,” he said quietly, scratching the side of his neck lightly as he was barely able to keep eye contact with the blond.

All the while everything was happening so fast and suddenly the blonde found herself blushing heavily. When her mother shouted out how pretty she was something deep down liked the compliment, something about being called pretty was nice. However this warm feeling that she got was completely ruined when Naoki agreed, Kaori looked at him suddenly with horror in her eyes. This resulted in her shuffling away to the opposite side of the table from the man as she no longer wanted him close to her.

Kaori muttered back in a rather reluctant tone to the man "yeah well, my mum has always been like that. She's always said that she wanted a girly daughter in her life, one that she could dress up and such. My sister... Although rather beautiful on the outside is both the biggest bitch in the world but also rather masculine when it comes to her personality..." Pointing over to a picture that was not too far away in which a long haired woman stood with a sword in front of her, a stern expression on her face and a huge muscular man behind her with small cuts and bruises along his body who had obviously been beaten. "That's me, and that's my sister." She said looking at her lap as if to try and hide away from the embaressment.

The large woman entered the room once more, handing them both a type of herbal tea that smelled very sweet. "Here you go hun, also Ryo-Ryo you thought of a new name for your cute self?" She would ask politely to which the blonde would simply respond "Kaori." The large woman would then divert her attention back to the male, being a rather blunt person she quickly asked. "With such class and elegance, if you do decide to I give you my blessing to marry my daughter. Also I take it you're here because you helped her out or something huh? To think she got into a dress is just ridiculous not to mention the fact that her hair is even tied, did you help her? Well?"

He had simply been trying to be polite, after all. And no way in hell would he admit how he had looked at her back in the store, not even to himself. To say that the brunette was horrible with people would be completely and utterly correct, no doubt about it. Not that he would say it even if he knew it was true, he aimed to be perfect at everything. Even if it was impossible to do so. Quietly he listened to the blonde’s story, nodding in appropriate points while a small frown was on his face, and it only deepened when he saw the picture of the two siblings on the wall. “I’m sorry to hear that… I had always tried to be what my mother wanted,” he muttered that last part to himself more than to Kaori, shaking his head after a couple of seconds before he looked back to Kaori. Never did he have any siblings, and for the final years of his mother’s life where her illness became severe, he had tried to do every single possible thing that he could to please her. Naoki remained silent as the older woman returned to the room, looking between mother and son, or daughter, a couple of times. But when the giant lady addressed him, his gaze landed on solely on her. Golden eyes went wide when marriage was mentioned, and the shocked expression remained for quite a few seconds. “I-I don’t… I…” Naoki was struggling to say something, anything to that. So he decided to answer the latter questions first, as they strayed away from that dangerous topic. “Yes, I helped her out when I found her on the street. I took her to a formal clothing shop because that’s the only place I go, and I tied her hair before we came here because she didn’t know how to deal with long hair,” he answered it all very quickly, damn near in a single breath. And even with his darker skin, the red hue added to the tone was probable obvious. “Surely you could find a better suitor than me. And just because her body is different now doesn’t mean her mind isn’t. I mean, if she only liked women before, then she probably still only likes women. And the life of a shinobi is a dangerous one, it really isn’t the place for bonds such as marriage,” Naoki spewed out excuses, the way he was still talking kind of fast and fiddling with the bottom hem of his fancy shirt making it clear that he was nervous about all of this. Never had he even considered getting married to another, as he simply didn’t see himself worthy of such a thing.

Kaori was surprised by his response what was said about her mother, Naoki too had always wanted to please his mother. She smiled a little bit, he truly was a manly thing to be close to your mother. The giant had entered and as this happened the two were given tea, the blonde quickly grabbing this and using it to hide her face as she took a sip. The tea was awful but then again, so was every drink and food Akahiro had ever made. All was going well until her mother sat down and began to speak to Naoki.

Luckily the blonde did not have tea in her mouth as she was suddenly shocked by what her mother had said. "Wait... what?" She asked the giant only for her to respond with a raise of the brow as if to say stand down. The daughter did so with her thoughts wild and agitated; "she's already trying to pair me up with a man..? What the fuck is this, I can't stand up to her I know what she can be like. Am I doomed to live life as a girly girl who will need to get married? No way. Fuck that." The girl's hands curled up into fists on her lap, she was getting angry however she knew she wasn't going to be able to act on it.

She listened to what the man had to say, happy that he was taking her side and a little worried as to why he was so nervous when talking to the giant woman, was it what she was saying or just her appearance? She was unable to tell at this point. Kaori stayed out of this thinking that if this fidgety man who seemed to be coming up with ways to counter what was said or just flat out making excuses. The giant looked back over to her new daughter then back to Naoki beofre she would begin to speak once again.

"The life of a shinobi is too dangerous for marriage? Well that's just ridiculous honey buns, look at me I'm a married woman and Jounin haha! As for her sexuality she used to be afraid of women, you think my precious daughter Kaori would have gotten over this just because she became one? I think not and I also believe that this is the perfect opportunity for her to be happy. You helped her out, you let her rest in your house and you're truly a manly man like she looks up to. You'd be a perfect fit." Kaori went to respond to this howecver the giant looked back at her once more and she didn't utter a single word.

It reminded of how his father used to treat him, and it didn’t sit well at all with him. And the way Kaori didn’t try standing up to it at all was also very familiar, still he wouldn’t talk back to his own father when the man was a washed up mess. As much as it did bother him, he knew better than to get in the middle of it… Then again, maybe he didn’t. Because as he saw the younger woman silenced by her mother again after the giant countered all he had said. “Maybe we should hear what your son has to say about all of this, ma’am. This directly affects him, after all,” Naoki sounded a little less nervous there, looking between the other two. Even if he thought of the blond as a female, he still verbally referred to her as a man. Maybe he was trying to push the task of convincing that this was a bad idea onto Kaori, because he didn’t know what could be said to convince Akihiro. As manly as the giant claimed him to be, when it came to personal problems he was a bit of a coward and liked to run away from them if he could.

Akihiro was very pleased with the response she had gotten from the man afterall it was a very considerate approach. She smiled to the man and nodded with a reply that reflected her considerably cheerful mood. "I am glad to hear you are also looking out for my daughter's feelings. I completely agree, what is you opinion on this Kaori?" The way she was refered to made Kaori a little uneasy and somewhat annoyed, "daughter? She's so quick to adapt to the situation, I know she cares about me but this is just going too fast."

The blonde took her time to respond, thinking about what exactly she would say as this was a rather delicate situation. "Mum, Naoki, I don't think it would be a very good idea after all I am still only attracted to women... I think if anything we should just wait and at least let me adapt to the situation at hand. After all there might still be some way to turn me back, if not it's probably going to be a given that well I'm going to live my life as a woman." After saying this she looked down at the tea in her hand, she was obviously upset by the fact she could very well be a girl for the rest of her life.

Then again, even if he hadn’t liked what she said, but it was still against them getting married, he still would have agreed. Naoki didn’t want to get married, never had he thought he was worthy of such a thing. And he especially didn’t want to end up bound to someone who wasn’t even attracted to men. The brunette took another sip of the awful tea, drinking it just so he had something to do. Not a single complaint about the horrible taste left his mouth, but it was clear by how little he had consumed that he wasn’t enjoying it. “It’s far too soon for marriage talk, I don’t think either of us are prepared for such a thing,” he was trying to respectfully deny the offer, though it came off more as him just wanting to postpone it. For hardly even a day they had known each other as well. And he wouldn’t say it aloud, but he wasn’t really sure if he could have those sorts of feelings for a man who had forcibly been trapped in a woman’s body.

Akihiro smiled as she was very pleased by the manners that both her daughter and Naoki were showing. "Such is the power of youth." She thought aloud. Adjusting herself she would now leave the area, "Alright well I'm going to go back to cleaning, have fun you two." with that the giant would finally leave the area and give them some space. The blonde sighed heavily as if a great burden had been lifted, she placed her tea in front of her on the table as it was definately not a liquid she would choose to drink.

As the giant woman would now be out of sight Kaori would begin to speak. "I'm really sorry about that, my mum's a really good person she can just be kind of pushy... It's probably because I've never actually been in a proper relationship where someone has been able to touch me or made me happy." As she said this the blonde began to become more red in colour, the embaressment that came with her stating such secrets of her previous form. "I'm sorry about everything, is there anything I can do in order to make it up to you?"

They really dodged a bullet there it seemed, because as far as he could tell neither of them wanted to get married to each other. The brunette’s attention turned back towards Kaori as she began to speak, a small smile pulling at his lips. Never had his own mother been pushy, but his father sure as hell was. He had never been in any sort of relationship either, so he could understand what she meant, for the most part. “It’s alright. I’ve never been with anyone at all, never has it felt like that sort of thing was for me,” the genjutsu master admitted, wanting to give her a reason not to feel so embarrassed. The poor gal had enough on her plate as it was, after all. Naoki didn’t have the same problem as her exactly; it wasn’t that no one was able to make him happy, he just never gave anyone the chance in the first place. “No, don’t worry about it. I’m happy to help,” he said truthfully, still smiling a little. He liked to help people, it was as simple as that. Well, he also had wanted to figure out what the hell was going on with the strange girl he had found on the street, and now he did.

Kaori was glad to hear that she would have to do nothing in return because honestly she needed to rest. The girl would reach up and pull out the hair tie that belonged to Naoki. Reaching across the table she would give it back to him regardless if he didn't want it or not. "I am actually kinda tired, would it be alright if we met up some other time? I still need rest to be perfectly honest with you and I'm sure you don't feel that comfortable around me... So how about we part ways for now?" Kaori's expression while she said this was rather awkard and she blushed heavily as she was somewhat embaressed.

Farewell,” he gave a small, respectful bow before he showed himself to the door. The classy shinobi left with the thoughts of all these recent and strange events on his mind, still not entirely sure what to make of it all. [exit]
