Once you learn this technique you must show proof of the skill either inside or outside the tower depending on its destructive capabilities! This can only be repeated once per month.
Reward: 2,000 Ryo if trained alone. 3,000 Ryo if trained with at least one other person.

Effect: Using a weapon or ones hand, the user slash's the air creating a sickle shaped gust of wind mixed with chakra that speeds out cutting anything in its way before eventually dissapitating.
Special: ---
Drawback: Accuracy counts and as the gust keep moving, they can damage anything in the area.
Description: Not to be confused with Temari's Kamaitachi no Jutsu which requires a fan. The user gathers chakra to there hands or weapon and slash the air, diagonally in front of them with much force as a sickle shaped gust of wind blows out incredibly fast. It can cut down opponents, inflicting a moderate amount of damage and chop down trees. It has even been known to cut through rock when used with enough force. Can also repel weapons and even sound waves.
Limit: Must have Wind Release

Kanae arrived at the large, open, grassy field where she and Kakuro had agreed to meet and train. It looked like she had arrived before Kakuro, so she pulled out a scroll containing several Fuuton techniques and reviewed the one she was trying to learn. It was called Fuuton: Bukisuraisu and Kanae had chosen it mainly because it could be used with her battle fan. Kanae was tired of carrying around the large fan and not having any jutsus to use with it. Kanae scanned the document and quickly found the jutsu she was looking for.

Kanae needed to gather chakra into her battle fan. Then she would slash the air diagonally in front of her forcefully. The scroll didn’t say whether the fan needed to be open or not, so Kanae assumed that the jutsu would work either way. After slashing the air, a sickle-shaped gust of wind would appear. The wind was strong enough to deflect weapons, chop down trees, and even cut rocks.

Kanae placed the scroll back in her bag and took out her fan. She decided to use the jutsu with an open fan. Next, Kanae concentrated on funneling her chakra to the fan. The fan was fairly large, so this would require a lot of chakra. At least this jutsu didn’t require any handseals. It could be performed as fast as she could gather the amount of chakra she needed.

Kanae continued gathering chakra, making sure it was spread out evenly along the fan. Kanae was working slowly because she wanted to see results the first time she performed the jutsu. She had learned that being patient allowed her to learn jutsus much more quickly. Finally, Kanae thought she had gathered enough chakra. She stood with her feet shoulder-width apart and both of her hands firmly grasping the end of the fan.

The fan was on the lower right side of her body. Kanae forcefully brought the fan diagonally upwards until her hands were at her left shoulder. The gust of wind Kanae created was strong enough that she could see it. There weren’t any trees around, so Kanae wasn’t sure how strong the wind was, but it cut up some of the grass in front of her. The jutsu still needed work, but Kanae felt like she was ready to try it out on a real opponent.

Description: Normally an Marksman must have solid footing on the ground in order to shoot proficiently. The Marksman is only able to shoot at 1/3rd of their normal proficiency. With this technique the user is able to shoot at awkward positions. They may be able to shoot upside down from a branch, sliding down a slope, jumping and falling, or even rolling on the floor. The user is able to now shoot at half their proficiency . When the user learns Shot on the Run they are able to shoot at 2/3rd of their proficiency.
Limit: Must be a Marksman. Must know Precise Shot.

Kakuro walked into the field where Kanae had agreed to meet. He could see that she was already training. He gave her a wave and opened up a scroll. Kakuro was going to learn the jutsu Acrobatic Shot. Kakuro realized that he could be dodging attacks and still be able to shoot well. But he would only be able to shoot at 1/3 of his proficiency.

"Are you ready," Kakuro said. Kakuro watched as Kanae got ready to spar. He went into his Oblique Stance. "I'm going to shoot a bolt at you," Kakuro said. He was 5 meters away from Kanae. Kakuro took a deep breath and aimed at Kanae. He fired his bolt and watched it sail through the air. While the bolt was in the air, Kakuro prepared to run.

Description: One of the four stances a user may learn as they are able to learn just one if they wish. Hard to maintain, so mainly used by expert Marksman. Some elite Marksman use the oblique stance. In this stance the Marksman places his/her toe of the left foot nearest the target on a line and pivoting the left foot forty-five-degrees to the target. The heel of the right foot is then placed in line with the toe of the left foot. This allows the bow arm to remain in a position where there will be optimum clearance of the bowstring when the arrow is released. The target should be seen clearly while using the oblique stance.
Limit: Must be a Marksman.

Kakuro asked Kanae if she was ready to start. “Yes,” she replied. Kanae stood with her feet shoulder-width apart and both of her hands firmly grasping the end of the fan. The fan was on the lower right side of her body. Kanae began channeling chakra to the fan while she waited for Kakuro to attack.

Kanae panicked a little when Kakuro shot an arrow at her. He was very close, and the arrow was coming at her fast. Kanae quickly brought the fan diagonally upwards until her hands were at her left shoulder. She hadn’t had time to gather as much chakra as she had the first time. She had also lost control of some of the chakra when she panicked.

Even so, Kanae was able to just barely deflect the arrow. The arrow was about one foot away from her before she managed to stop it. Kanae’s heart was hammering in her chest. She took several deep breaths and asked Kakuro, “Would you mind backing up a little? We’re both using long-range techniques, and I think it would work a lot better if we were farther apart.”

Kakuro watched as Kanae blocked the arrow. He listened as she told him to back up a little. "Okay, I will back up 10 more feet," Kakuro said. Once he got there, he took a deep breath. He ran a few feet to the left of Kanae. He quickly shot his bolt while moving.

As the bolt sailed through the air, Kakuro thought about what would happen. He only had a 1/3 chance of hitting. Also would he be able to dodge Kanae's attack? When she used her jutsu she send the bolt flying back at him.

He started running back to his spot. The arrow was still in the air when he started reloading. Kakuro realized that even if it did hit,he would still need to practice. He waited to see what Kanae would do.

Kakuro backed up as Kanae had requested. While he was moving, Kanae channeled chakra into the fan. She was holding it in what she thought of as her “ready” position. The fan was held firmly with both hands on the lower right side of her body. From this position, Kanae could easily and quickly perform the jutsu.

Kakuro shot another arrow at Kanae. This time she was ready. Kanae confidently brought the fan diagonally upwards so her hands were at her left shoulder. The arrow Kakuro shot would have probably missed her, but Kanae’s jutsu was still able to deflect it. The arrow didn’t go very far after being deflected, so it was unlikely that Kakuro would be hit.

Looking back at Kakuro, Kanae saw that he had another arrow ready to fire. She quickly moved back to her ready position and channeled chakra into the fan. Then she quickly slashed the air diagonally in front of her with the fan. The gust of wind wasn’t as strong as her previous attempt, but hopefully it would be strong enough to deflect the arrow. As soon as Kanae finished executing the jutsu, she went back to her ready position and started gathering chakra. From her practice so far, Kanae had learned that speed was essential.

Kakuro watched as his arrow was deflected. Kanae and him were getting better. "After this shot, I'm going to shoot more than one bolt," Kakuro said. Kakuro took a deep breath and concentrated. He ran forward a few feet and slid on the ground. While he was sliding he aimed at Kanae.

Still sliding Kakuro fired the bolt. He quickly pushed himself into a standing position. Since he slid the arrow was aimed at the head. He hoped Kanae could block it. If she didn't she was dead.

As he watched, Kakuro sighed painfully. When he slid on the ground he hit a rock. He started reloading the crossbow. If all went well, this would be easy but challenging.

“After this shot, I'm going to shoot more than one bolt,” Kakuro warned her. If he was going to be shooting more than one arrow at once, Kanae would have to start timing her jutsu better. If she performed the jutsu too early or too late, one of the arrows could get through. If any of the arrows hit, it could be fatal. Kanae turned her attention back to Kakuro.

He had just released an arrow, so Kanae quickly performed the jutsu. She brought the fan back to the lower right side of her body. Gathering chakra, she watched Kakuro closely. When Kakuro shot the arrow this time, Kanae would wait a second or two before performing the jutsu. This way, she would block the first arrow and have a pretty good chance of blocking the second one as well.

The fan didn’t obscure her vision, so Kanae would be able to see the second arrow come at her. If she couldn’t deflect it, she should still be able to dodge the arrow. Kakuro seemed like he could shoot an arrow and reload quickly, but he might leave a larger gap between the arrows to catch her off guard. Kanae smiled as she waited for his next move. She had been nervous at first, but now she was having fun.

Kakuro watched as Kanae blocked another one of his arrows. He realized that she was getting a lot better. He decided that he was going to train harder. He listened as the leaves swayed with the wind. He decided that he needed to concentrate more at aiming. Kakuro realized that most of the time he would miss. But if he fired more than one arrow, he would have a better chance.

He realized that he should start being observant of his surroundings. Kakuro looked around and spotted a small hill. He decided he was going to slide down the hill and fire his crossbow. He quickly ran toward the small hill. Kanae was probably wondering what he was doing. Once Kakuro was on top of the hill, he took a deep breath. He scanned the area until he found Kanae and prepared to dive down the hill.

He jumped down the hill and landed on his back. Kakuro realized he was sliding pretty fast, so he slowed himself down. As he slid he aimed his crossbow at Kanae. Kakuro quickly fired the arrow in her direction. He then did a forward roll and landed on his feet. He reloaded and fired at Kanae. He watched as both of them soared toward him.

As Kanae thought, there was a gap between the shots. This was probably because Kakuro was shooting at her while moving and sliding down the hill. Kanae was able to successfully deflect the first arrow. The second arrow was able to get through her gust of wind and she had to jump to the side. Kanae suspected that her wind gust had gotten weaker before it reached Kakuro’s second arrow.

The obvious solution was for her to use more chakra while performing the jutsu. Since Kanae didn’t have a lot of time between Kakuro’s attacks, she would need to gather the chakra faster. Another option was for Kanae to improve her chakra control. If Kanae got better at manipulating her chakra, she could gather the same amount of chakra to her fan and still make the jutsu more powerful. Kanae decided to work on both of these things at the same time.

Since waiting to perform the jutsu hadn’t worked, Kanae decided to execute the techniques as soon as Kakuro released his arrow. Kanae fell into the ready position and tried to gather more chakra into the fan at a faster rate. When she saw Kakuro fire his first arrow, she forcefully sliced the air in front of her diagonally with her fan. This time, she made sure that she didn’t lose any of the chakra she had gathered while moving the fan. Then Kanae went back to the ready position and prepared to perform the technique again for his next arrow.

Kakuro watched as Kanae deflected his arrows again. He looked at the hill and realized it had a small tree on it. He looked at it and thought of what he could do with it. He quickly realized what he could do. It would be challenging for both him and Kanae. Kakuro started climbing up the small tree. He stopped when he reached the top and reloaded his bolt.

He hung upside down from the tree with just his legs. Kakuro felt dizzy, but he knew he could do it. He aimed at Kanae and fired. The jolt was so sudden that he fell from the tree. But lucky for him, his bolt was flying toward Kanae. He quickly got up and reloaded his bolt. The second arrow was going to take longer to shoot. But he realized he could shoot his arrows whenever he wanted.

Kakuro ran a few feet and dove toward the ground. This bolt would sail directly toward Kanae. While the other one would be above her. He aimed and shot his bolt at Kanae. It would be a little harder for her since the bolts were coming from two different directions. Kakuro waited to see what would happen.

This time Kakuro shot at her from a tree. While swinging her fan once again, Kanae wondered if Kakuro was having fun. It seemed like her decision to execute her jutsu along with the first arrow was a good one. Although the two arrows came from different directions, there was a large gap between them. Kanae easily deflected the first arrow.

Kanae was surprised to see the arrow fly back two meters. It seemed like her attempt at faster chakra gathering and better chakra control had gone well. Kanae didn’t spend very long, looking at the result. She quickly returned to the ready position, waiting for the next arrow. She had less time to gather chakra on this attempt, but the result was about the same.

“Hey, Kakuro!” Kanae called. “Why don’t we stop sparring for a little while and gather your arrows?” Kanae didn’t know how many arrows Kakuro had on him, but it seemed like a waste to leave them lying around. Because Kanae had deflected some arrows and dodged others, the arrows were all over the place. Kanae began collecting the arrows closest to her.

Kakuro watched as Kanae deflected his arrows. He realized he was improving because she had to block or dodge his arrows. He listened as Kanae recommended that they pick up his arrows. He ran toward Kanae to pick up his arrows. In a few minutes, all of his arrows were picked up. He told Kanae thanks and ran back toward his hill.

When he got to his hill, he reloaded his crossbow. Kakuro climbed to the top of the tree and hung upside down. Remembering what happened last time, he tightened his leg muscles. He concentrated on aiming at Kanae. Even if this was an awkward position, he had to try his best.

Kakuro shot one one of his bolts at Kanae's head. He quickly reloaded and fired another one at her knees. While firing he made sure he was in the same position. He loosened his leg muscles and fell to the ground. He reloaded his bolt and aimed at Kanae again.

Kakuro started running down the hill. This time he slid on his stomach on purpose. He concentrated on not sliding on his bow. As he slid he raised his crossbow and aimed at Kanae. Kakuro took a quick breath and fired. He knew this would be challenging for her. He waited to see the results.

Once all of the arrows had been collected, Kanae returned to her previous position. She watched in amusement as Kakuro climbed a tree and hung upside down. She stood with her feet shoulder-width apart and both of her hands firmly grasping the end of the fan. The fan was on the lower right side of her body. Kanae began channeling chakra to the fan while she waited for Kakuro to attack. Although he had only shot two arrows at a time so far, Kanae made sure to watch him carefully.

As soon as Kakuro released the first arrow, Kanae executed the technique. Kanae forcefully brought the fan diagonally upwards until her hands were at her left shoulder. A strong gust of wind sped towards the oncoming arrow. Kanae moved the fan back to her lower right side and began gathering chakra. She looked up in time to see Kakuro’s second arrow get deflected by the first gust of wind.

Kakuro dropped out of the tree and slid down the hill. Kanae was impressed. Kakuro was moving around so much and still accurately shooting arrows at her. The time it too for Kakuro to shoot the third arrow was long for Kanae to gather a sufficient amount of chakra. Kanae repeated the jutsu, slicing the air in front of her as hard as she could.

Kanae watched as she deflected the arrows. Every time he had shot at her, it was blocked. Kakuro decided that he wanted to be able to shoot the arrows faster. Kakuro look around trying to find more awkward positions to shoot from. He was pretty confident in his abilities, since most of his arrows would have hit Kanae if she hadn't deflected them.

Kakuro wondered how Kanae would react if he shot at close range. But he still didn't want to be hit by her wind. He examined his surroundings again. Kakuro pulled an arrow out of his pouch. He slid the arrow neatly into his crossbow. He pulled the arrow back until he heard a slight pop. Kakuro tried thinking of another awkward position.

A few moments later, he had found one. Kakuro decided he was going to shoot on one foot. He hopped on one foot and aimed at Kanae. But before he could shoot, he lost balance and fell. Embarrassed, Kakuro got back up quickly. He lifted up his right leg. Kakuro focused on balancing his weight.

He slowly lifted up his crossbow toward Kanae. While aiming at Kanae, he was careful not to loose balance. Kakuro fired a bolt at Kanae. The speed of the bolt was 65 miles per hour. He couldn't fire faster or he would lose balance. The highest speed his bolt could go was 86 miles per hour. He wanted the speed of his bolt to improve.

Kakuro pulled another arrow out of his pouch. He slid the arrow quickly into his crossbow. He pulled the arrow back until he heard a slight pop. He started running down his hill. Kakuro had decided he was going to shoot side ways. Kakuro had to concentrate on making sure he didn't hit any rocks.

Kakuro took a breath of air and got prepared to shoot. He aimed his crossbow at Kanae.In less than a few seconds, Kakuro shot the bolt. He listened to the Twang of the arrow as it left the crossbow. The arrow sliced through air like a missile. This time the bolt was going about 75 miles per hour. He waited to see the results.

Kanae raised an eyebrow as Kakuro hopped around on one foot, fell, and then stood on one foot. She was so busy watching the spectacle that she forgot to gather chakra for her jutsu. Kanae was caught completely off guard as an an arrow came shooting at her. This arrow was by far the fastest arrow Kakuro had shot all day.

Kanae quickly ran to her right, attempting to dodge the arrow. She saw Kakuro's second arrow was already on its way and dove to the ground in order to avoid it. This second arrow was also moving very quickly. Luckily Kakuro only shot two arrows that time. Otherwise Kanae would have definitely gotten. "Nice shot!" Kanae said, grinning at Kakuro.

Kakuro watched as Kanae barely dodged them. He realized that he must have caught her off guard. He listened as she complimented him. "Thanks" Kakuro said. Kakuro pulled a bolt out of his pouch. He slid the bolt slowly into his crossbow. He pulled the bolt back until he heard a slight click. Kakuro tried thinking of another awkward position. He sat down and thought for a few moments.

He quickly realized what he could do. Kakuro smiled because he was doing his awkward position now. He was going to shoot his crossbow sitting down. If enemies were attacking, they would have a hard time aiming at him. Kakuro stretched his arms and legs. He sat criss cross on the ground. He knew Kanae would not expect this.

Kakuro aimed his crossbow toward Kanae. He checked to see how strong the wind was. He realized that even a perfect shot can be messed up by the wind. But to his relief, there was no wind. Kakuro didn't have to worry about his shot being moved by the wind. He struggled to find a good position to aim his bow in.

Once he found it he aimed at Kanae again. He took a deep breath and fired his bolt. Kakuro heard the sound of the arrow leaving the crossbow. He watched as it flew through the air. Kakuro quickly got up and reloaded his bow. He wanted to try his position he did last time.

Instead of his left leg, Kakuro would stand on his right leg. Since he had just did a similar one, he knew how to balance. This time he didn't fall on the ground. Kakuro concentrated on not making the crossbow jolt. If it did jolt, he would lose his balance. Kakuro shot another bolt at Kanae.

Kakuro quickly reloaded his crossbow. He ran and jumped down the hill. While he was sliding he made sure to dodge other projectiles. He aimed and fired at Kanae. The crossbow jerked and hit him in the stomach. Kakuro sat down and caught his breath. He looked to see how Kanae was doing.
