Waterfall Trave and Interaction [Event]

Taki no Kuni, arguably the most fertile land in all of the continent, as no others seem to possess its same resources. Waterfalls cascade down cliff faces, creating a steamy water vapor veil that covers the land, leaving it cool and moist during the day. Rivers can be found almost anywhere, flanked on either side by lush green grass that’s springy to the step, and fat leaf exotic trees; complete with exotic colorful birds to fill them. Rainbows seem to appear all over, spread out across the land to create a beautiful picture, only enhanced by the slight sparkle that seems present when morning light touches the air here. Men and women conduct their business in light clothing, traveling the land and enjoying the atmosphere, speaking of the events that go on today. Word has reached the gate of Takigakure no Sato, the Zealot that is in Seisui, speaking the word of Ouranos, God of Sky and Cloud. This is the only disturbance in a near perfect land…

Nearly sprinting from the Takikage's tower after asking permission to leave, he heads home to double check his possesions. He had been wearing his normal leather and metal attire and his head band. His butt bag had been slung around his right thigh and his katana on his righ hip. His but bag had included 4 kunai(2 slots), 75 hira shuriken(5 slots), 75 darts( 5 slots and 3 smoke grenades( 3 slots). He had heard of a wierd, fiendish power of chakra absorbtion and wanted to give it a look. After tieing his head band to his forehead and tightening his wooden sandals he sets off for the village gate.

The rumor had spoken of a castle appearing out of no where that had seemed strage enough to Pax. All this had interested him in doing some personal work after the village mission he had been assigned. When he had reached the gates he had gone through the normal village precautions at the gates and he headed on through. After sitting outside the gates for a good 10 minutes he figured no one was going to accompany him.

This had seemed strange to him because the Takikage had not seemed too pleased with his idea since he was still a new recruit. Either way to him he felt as if he would have to try harder than ever before to make a name for himself. It had been a while since he had left the village and he had never really been near Kawa no Kuni, Ame no Kuni, or Kaze no Kuni other than the short years he had spent in Mizu no kuni before his parents died. Done thinking about everything and finally read to move out he heads south west to try to reach the flying castle on the border of three lands.

“Excuse me, young man. Could I have a moment of your time,” the voice called out from somewhere to the left of Pax. An elderly man in a sky blue robe would be trying to flag him down, waving a hand over his head, with a smile on his face. Waddling his way over as fast as his old legs could carry him, which was hardly that fast at all, the elderly man would pull up next to Pax and pant a little before recovering. “So, young man, could you do an old man a favor?” His hands gestured all over when he spoke, but there was an air of command and persuasiveness from him, with a little bit of charm added in. “I was wondering if you could possibly escort me to the Capital. The roads aren’t safe for a man like me, you know,” he would say so matter-of-factly. His hand made a broad sweep of the road as he spoke. Eagerly he awaited the boy’s answer.

[Cacophony]

Confusion had been the only thing shown on his face when he had heard a voice. To his surprise an elderly man had appeared to his left side. When the man had asked Pax to escort him to the capital he couldn't say no. " Well, i cannot lead the way since i have never been there, but I'd be happy to help if you know the way." He had announced to the man when he was within a close distance.

"My name is Pax by the way, and im from Takigakure." While waiting for the old man's reply, he had been observing the whole land around him and all he could see was a road, some grass, and some trees.The land all around the Waterfall country had been like this. Pax had been on his way to examine a floating castle but he would love to see the capital too. The old man had not seemed harmful but he had needed help and that is what Pax's job as a shinobi is. To help others when they need it.

”How is it that a boy born in this land and living in Takigakure no Sato, doesn’t know the way to the Capital City, Seisui? Nevermind. I will lead you there so long as you make sure nothing vicious eats me.” The old man turned and began to walk down the path, not all that quickly of course, so the place was rather slow goings. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary in the area, aside from the old man, who was humming a tune not heard of in any of the lands; if one had an ear for music to catch it. It would only take an hour or two to reach Seisui, nothing interrupting their travel, aside from conversation from the old man. “So you are curious about what is happening in the Capital, my boy? You would first need to hear the word of Ouranos, Lord of the Sky and Clouds.” The old man clapped his hands before him, almost as if he were praying. “Ouranos, God of the Sky and Clouds, Champion of Gaea. He brings a cleansing to the lands not yet seen, to save us all from our fates. His daughters bring hands of healing power, purging the sickness from our very flesh, so that we are healthy and powerful once again.”

The old man clapped Pax on the shoulder, offering him a friendly smile. The buildings of the Capital City, Seisui, loomed before them. Smoke rose from several buildings in the city, rubble in various parts of the street, while men and women lay on their sides or up against the walls in despair. Dozens had committed suicide; hanging themselves, running themselves through with their own weapons, or slitting their own throats. Blood was everywhere, like a flood of red, painting the city a different color all together. The pressure on Pax’s shoulder would be gone, the old man no longer touching him, or even in the area. Vanished like rising smoke. It was clear this city was in danger and it was a Shinobi’s duty to correct that.

[Cacophony]

"Oh, You had meant the Waterfall's capital? I'm sorry my mind is some where else right now." He said as the old man almost scolded him. The hours had flown by quickly to Pax since he had been enjoying the tune the old man was whistling. WHen the old man had asked him about Ouranos, Lord of the Sky and Clouds he had just listened to what he was saying. That must have been who was behind the floating castle on the border of three nations. Trying not to let the man know that was why he had left the village in the first place, he simply nodded as the old man spoke.

Upon arrival of the capital city Pax's jaw had dropped. The feeling of the old man's hand on his shoulder had been ominous and creepy. After witnessing the horrid sight for a few seconds Pax had turned to the old man who had been gone. "what the hell is going on!" Pax shouted as he dashed to any wounded civilian he could find.

Most of the people he had encountered had been dead and unable to give any information on the chaos. His next actions would be to head to any flaming building and attempt to put out the flames. The capital was in turmoil and Pax had been doing his best to fix it while gaining information about this Ouranos character he had heard the old man speak of before. The pure sight of the destruction had not been too overwhelming on the young shinobi but he had to help out any way he could.

From the doorways of buildings, broken and in shambles, did men and women emerge. In their hands were rusted weapons, damaged weapons, or bloody weapons of all shapes and types. Already Pax was surrounded, their eyes on him, or more precisely his headband. The whisper spread through the crowd of people like a wild fire. Takigakure no Sato Shinobi. All paths out seemed blocked. Men and women stood on the rooftops with make-shift bows and home-made arrows. A voice called them to halt, familiar to Pax, but much more commanding and powerful. Suddenly the old man appeared on a rooftop, flanked by four women with bows, and he grinned down at the boy. “Thank you for escorting me, my boy. Now drop your weapon, or do you think you can fight an army?” Pax was indeed surrounded.

[Cacophony]

Surrounded by the army of people Pax sets his eyes to the old man who was speaking. The numbers were deffinatly against him but he had trained fearlessly up to this point and he wasn't going to give up now. Sighing and revealing an antagonizing smirk he replies to the old man's quetion. "It's my duty as a shinobi to never falter or fail. Didn't I tell you old man? I will help all in need and protect my village since it is my duty, and to be honest your idealistic world with out shinobi will only cause rebellion." Placing his hand on his katana's hilt, he draws it from the sheathe and widens his stance.

Gripping the katana in his right hand and holding his left arm up to use as a shield he prepares himself for an attack. The group had not scared him but he had never been in combat before. He trained for days waiting for this one moment and was not going to fail. It was his job to succeede and he would die trying if he had to.

”So you wish to throw away your life so fruitlessly?” The old man was speaking to Pax, his eyes shining with madness. The madness of a Zealot. He had halted the people with a wave of his hand so that he could speak, before they could all rush Pax at once, and beat him into submission. It was clear who controlled the mob. “Instead of throwing your life away, why not join our cause. Renounce Takigakure no Sato, for they have done you no good, served you no justice. You are here alone. If they cared for you, others would have aided you.” The old man gestured with his hands with each phrase, as if the action helped the words flow more seamlessly, but it only helped to make him look more psychotic.

[Should you choose not to accept his offer]
There seems to be a stand still for what feels like hours, but is only a second to two, as they all size each other up. The grim resolve of Pax was unexpected by the men and women, all of which wore a uniform of sky blue with cloud print, and they waited for a moment; but for what? Suddenly a net was falling from the sky, made by a fisherman; it was a heavy net intended for large catches [Attempt]. If Pax was captured, the men and women would advance, dragging him further into the city. If not, however, they would rush him all at once with the intent of combat.

[Should you choose to accept the offer]
Pax would be surrounded by the men and women, but unharmed, as they moved him to a new location. Glimpses of the ruined village could be seen through breaks in his ‘honor guard’. Bodies and people, rubble and blood, and enough gore to give any man a nightmare or two. This town had just seen what war is. Upon a hill was what seemed to be a shrine, although it was old and unvisited in quite some time. A beautiful woman with silver hair stood upon the hill, her icy blue eyes gazing down at Pax, holding only contempt for the Shinobi. Her robe only hid the parts of her body that could be considered nudity, white remaining thin and see through for the rest. The men hailed her as the Daughter of Ouranos, but they never came close to her, making sure to keep their distance as they dumped Pax into her presence. The old man spoke, having somehow managed to get next to the Daughter of Ouranos. “It is time. Pledge your allegiance or be broken. It is your choice, boy.”

[Cacophony]

While putting his katana away he spoke out to the old man once more."You're not going to kill me, and im not going to give up! My job is to protect the village and those in it, even if they are attacking me." Surely the old man would not like this response so Pax had readied himself to go onto the offensive. He began to study the movements of the armed civilians. They seemed to want to move but for some reason they were keeping a distance away from him. Had he been intimidating them? No that couldn't be it, he's much smaller and younger than all of them not to mention the looks on their faces had not looked scared, but rather, excited.

I must be in the center of a trap, he thought to himself quickly. There had been no doubt in his mind. Although he had believed it was under him, he looked to the sky to prepare a jump and noticed a heavy net falling down from the sky. How had he been that slow to not notice before? Either way he began forming his handsigns for a fire style technique to burn the net. The hand signs had been created, he then cupped his right hand over his mouth and he used his Fire Style: Inferno Technique .

Once the net was ten feet above him it would surely combust a hole he could jump through. Awaiting the perfect second to jump he continues the firey stream. In this situation he would rather be safe and make sure he had a hole to jump out of, if not the villagers would have him right were they wanted him. He would surely have died if he had not tourched a hole through the netting.

As if a beacon or a flare had just been sent into the sky, a woman in a robe opened her eyes from meditation within a building, a robe all that she wore and it only covered her sexual parts. Her hair was snow white or silver, her eyes were frost blue like ice on water, and they possessed a terrible cold emotionlessness. She stood and strode out of the home, walking the length of the street, toward the commotion on the other side of town. She would be there soon.

Pax was successful in burning a hole through the net, creating a smoking hole in between the braided hemp, and he would jump through it as he planned. The men moved forward while he was in the air, several stepping forward, ready for when the boy landed. All of them carried spears, which gave them the range advantage on the Katana wielding Pax, however, they were merely normal citizens of Kusa no Kuni’s Aokusa. The old man merely grinned, but he stayed out of the commotion, and instead chose to speak. “You know, I feel sorry for you. Your little stunt has awakened a demon.”

[Cacophony]

While midair, Pax had started alanyzing enemy movement. As he was falling he could see the civilians advancing towards where he was going to land. The ninja had been prepared but the spears would prove to be difficult to manuver around. When he had landed the spear wielders had approached him fast and he barely had time to think of what to do. He instinctively began using another jutsu to incapasitate the civilians swarming him. The jutsu had been Fuuton Kaze no Senbon and an array of wind needles launched towards the makeshift army.

When the old man spoke, Pax was begining to get annoyed with him. He wanted to keep talking while cowardly hiding behind citizens of Pax's village. The old man had said to Pax,
“You know, I feel sorry for you. Your little stunt has awakened a demon.” and Pax replied with, " You know you're starting to get on my nerves old man. Im going to just have to shut you up aren't I?" Adding some guts into his voice he waits to see how the villagers will handle tiny invisible needles flying at them.

Normal men with no formal training: Farmers, laborers, grocers. The front row dropped before the onslaught of needles, without armor and lacking the training need to defend against even the most simple of ninjutsu, they were easily felled as needles struck vital areas. The others hesitated, staying back now, as their brethren lay bleeding upon the floor. The old man simply laughed, shaking his head at Pax, and wagging his finger. “Such excessive force used on normal humans. Don’t worry. You’ll have someone to play with that can handle it.” With that, the old man disappeared, jumping out of sight from the rooftop and then he was gone.

A woman flipped like a twister and landed on a rooftop a little to Pax’s right, her fist on the wood, kneeling, her silver white hair blowing in the breeze along with her robe. As she stood, all could see that she was beautiful, but her eyes were cold, colored like ice on water. That cold gaze passed over everyone before falling on Pax, whom she saw as only a blaze of blue chakra, like a blue flame upon a grey backdrop. Light encased her body for a brief second, disappearing as quickly as it appeared, and her robe was replaced by winged armor. Breast plate, battle skirt, greaves, gloves, boots, shin guards, and a helmet that also had wings sprouting from the sides. It was like the armor of a Valkyrie. However she held no weapon, a spear strapped behind her within easy reach, yet she did not wield it. This was the true form of the Daughter of Ouranos.

Concerned with his own life first, he had no remorse for the villagers he just attacked in self defense. His motive now wasn't just protecting the village, but saving himself too. The odds had been stacked against him but he would rather die than lose his chakra. Once he finally began fighting for a cause he wouldn't waver.

After the old man's twist on Pax's action he became agrivated. Holding a grudge now he begins to reach for a shuriken to toss right in between his eyes, but he had already vanished. Another body had instantly appeared on a different roof that had caught his attention. " So your who I get to fight? I guess after I finish you I'll get that old bastard back for this too." Ready for combat to break out any second he sized up his opponent in his head and began configuring a battle stradgey.

She would not give the boy time to act out his plans. The Daughter of Ouranos was quick, dropping down from the building and moving in to intercept Pax. Only a few steps would put her in range, although Pax had no weapon, having put his blade away only a few moments before. Her hands were swift, the left hand shooting out toward his right arm, attempting to strike Pax in the center of his bicep with two extended fingers to perform Tianfu[Attempt]. Almost at the same time, she would strike out with her right hand, striking just above the abdominal muscles on his right side, directly into his diaphragm with two fingers as well [Attempt]. These two strikes were designed to cripple, the left hand aiming to paralyze the arm and dizzy Pax to put him off balance, while the second strike would render him immobile, as all the strength would leave his muscles if successful. The left hand would shoot out one more time, aiming a few centimeters from the wrist and down just a touch, the two fingers obviously aiming for a point [Attempt]. This was known as Huizong and, if successful, would spread pain throughout the body, that body belonging to Pax. The pain would be so great, the boy would fall to his knees, and the combination of all of these attacks would ensure he did not stand back up for quite some time.

Description: If ST 18: Rugen (Breast Root) was not too exciting, then ST 19: Burong (Uncontainable) is just the opposite. This strike attacks the seat of power as does CV 17: Shanzhong or Tanzhong (Penetrating Odour), only this strike is even more damaging to the diaphragm as it strikes to the muscles that work the diaphragm causing the recipient to feel like they have no power at all and so fall down, hard enough and this strike will cause death from suffocation. The woman had not even given him a response before she jumped into action. She was extremely fast on her feet and even faster with her hands. The only way Pax would be able to beat her is if he used his intelligence. Both of her hands had come flying at him but they had not been punches. Realizing quickly that she was striking heavily on the right side, he pivoted 90 degrees . Now facing the left side of her body he attempts to grab her left wrist with his right hand, while putting his left leg infront of her body. If successfull, he will flip her over onto her her back while he tries the distance himself. The boy had finally gotten serious because he understood that the opponent was a lot stronger and faster than he was. As stubborn as a mule he refused to die here and he refused to give up his power to the psychotic zealots tricking people all over the world.

It was a good move, and a good attempt, but the Daughter of Ouranos was equally skilled in combat. As he pivoted and reached for her, she would cancel the moves of before, as they would not strike, and instead step inward while leaning back to avoid the grab, giving her a better angle and a closeness. Her left hand would dart out, aiming for the point just after the shoulder joint, where the bicep began [Attempt]. Upon a successful strike, a feeling like a jolt of electricity would shoot through the arm, painfully so, and then the arm would go limp due to paralysis. In addition, extreme vertigo would set in, possibly causing Pax to fall to the ground dizzied. Nearly simultaneously, she would strike with the right, the left hitting under the arm in the bicep (inner arm), where this one would strike for the upside of the arm near the end of the bicep toward the elbow (outer arm) [Attempt]. If successful, the hard strike would send an excrutiating amount of pain throughout Pax’s body, which would only continue to grow until fixed by another Dian Xue Shu user.

Description: This point is more of a nerve point strike, which inflicts great pain and nervous shock. The pain will grow very quickly until the recipient has to give up because of this pain. The speed of the woman was insane, she had been able to cancel herattact the second she saw Pax try to flip her. He would not be able to beat her in hand to hand so his next bet would be to try using ninjutsu to his advantage. Swiftly grabbing a smoke grenade from his butt bag he throws it at her stomach(Attempt) and squats and begins his hand signs. Range had been the best way to keep himself alive at this point so he used his wind surf ninjutsu. (If Successful) He finds himself 25 yards away from his opponent and his concentration had him assesing her moves.

She had favored paralyzing taijutsu moves so he would have to slow her down. His next few moments could be his last so he planned on going all out to defeat this highly trained opponent.

The downfall. Unfortunately, Pax had not tried to evade the Daughter of Ouranos’ attacks, and his arm was struck in two places. First the pain would rack his body, the left hand strike hitting a point that would paralyze the arm completely, upon the bicep’s beginning. The second would strike the bicep as well, the inner side, closer to the elbow and would send excruciating pain throughout his body almost instantly. From then on, the pain would continue to grow, until treated. His right arm was paralyzed, which seemed to be his dominant arm, and the coupled with the pain it would be tough to do much of anything that required concentration. The Daughter of Ouranos would rise up on her left leg toes, her right leg climbing high, and would deliver a powerful kick downward toward the area between the neck and the shoulders to break the collar bone [attempt].

Unable to move Pax awaited the strike as he saw it coming. The shocking pain had been too much for his body to try to overwhelm the pain. Trying his hardest to move the most he can manage is to move his finger a millimeter.
