[Chuunin Examiner 2]

The group was demanding the one thing she couldn't give. Answers. The sand user had helped to slow the flow of blood with some clever use of his sand control, something that caused a relieved look to flash over her face.

The relief swiftly turned to hesitance, and fear. Halting, with a breaking voice, she explained all she knew. "M-My name's Amanda. I.. Don't remember much else.. I swear, I've told you all I know."

The mental strain of attempting to remember the most painful experience any human was likely to go through caused tears to well in her eyes, although she held them in, not allowing them to drip down her cheeks.

"You.. You have to believe me! I don't remember anything, I swear!"

Desperation caused her to half-shout those words, her life lying in the hands of the ninja before her.

[Kawamura Aokuro]

Kawamura glared at the woman, a light growl coming out from under his breath before his head twitched and he just smiled. "Okay! I believe you!"[/color] He said with a goofy grin on his face. He started looking around though. He wouldn't be able to help the wounds, but luckily, the sand user had been able to do so. But that still didn't answer a very important question that was on the Sound Ninja's mind.

"So... umm... Where do we go from here? And... What exactly do you want us to do, Amanda?"[/color] He asked curiously. He had no idea how to continue on in the maze as he pulled out a piece of paper. He looked at it from all angles before pointing in a random direction. "This way!"[/color] He said as he started walking... straight... toward... a wall.... And as he reached it, he slammed head first into the wall. Rubbing his nose, he turned to look at the others.

"I meant to do that."[/color] He said, the same goofy grin on his face. He clearly had no idea what he was doing.

My bad. I thought I had forgot to set an IIC, but I was incorrect, there is one. To make sure it is now stated, it is 48 hours. Kawamura, as you were the first to act kindly, and haven't missed the IIC, you now have control of Amanda from this post on, provided she doesn't die.

She is a C-ranked ninjutsu master, with one-handed seals and has Earth, Fire, and Sound release.

Ahead of the group of now four, the maze stretched one. The dried blood from the woman faded a few more feet forwards. Should they continue the maze, and they'd hardly have a choice, the darkness would seem to swallow them for a moment. Afterwards, it would fade away, revealing a small, golden chest that seemed to glow with an unearthly light placed directly in the middle of the maze's tunnels.

On the box, there was a riddle followed by a series of circular bands set into the wood. These were able to be slid up and down, and they currently were all blank. Sliding up would allow you to go up the alphabet from A, and sliding down would allow you to go down the alphabet from Z. There were 25 of these word bands each containing every letter and a blank spot, allowing a vast number of words to be made. A number 3 was next to this, for a currently unknown reason.

The riddle read:

You've come so far,
I'll give some aid.
Which of you will be a star,
and cause the darkness around to fade?

I'm a mutant, a sight to see,
if only someone cared for me.
I live on waste, and feed on fear,
Won't someone come see me here?

I ruin the senses, I blur the fight.
Red to black, pink to white.
Faithful mutt, or deadly pest,
will you manage to pass the test?


Leading up to the word-maker was the statement 'I am...', allowing you to guess what creature he was referring to.

To clear up confusion on the word bands, it is basically this only set into the wooden chest.

[Kawamura Aokuro]

Kawamura aided Amanda, wondering just how much longer she would be able to continue. She wrapped her arm around him, using him almost as a crutch. As Kawamura wasn't a user of Taijutsu, and, from her explanations, neither was she, it would be problematic in a fight. But the combined efforts of Genjutsu and Ninjutsu were sure to help.

They continued on the path to see darkness envelop them. A glow came soon after from a chest. As they walked up, Kawamura read the riddle aloud, looking over at the word bands. There was also a number 3. This time, he was stumped. He had no idea, and neither did Amanda. They both looked to the other two, curious as to their possible answers and hoping they would be of help.

CLaus hmmed at the new riddle. What was up with this chuuunin exams and its ridddles? Claus was tumped to what the answer could of been as welll. He stood for a moment and thought about it and shrugged.

It seemed as though no one had a clue as to just what this riddle was referring to, Amarante also couldn't figure it out. She liked to accredit that to the fact that HER LEG WAS FUCKING CRUSHED TO TINY LITTLE PIECES! Though her clones had no excuse. Stupid clones. With nothing more to add here Amarante was kind of at a loss for words. "Fuck I don't know; a death dog?" one of her clones answered for her. She really didn't know just how she was going to deal with this, perhaps she could force the door open somehow. "Anyway to force the latch open?" the clone then enquired?

Unfortunately, the box just.. sat there. Taking up all but a half foot on each side of the tunnel, and leaving plenty bare above it, it stared at them. Silent. Waiting..

Likely to no surprise, the box was still a box. If they decided to take a guess at the puzzle, and unless it was right, then the letter three would drop to a two. Otherwise, it would remain motionless.

[Kawamura Aokuro]

The Sound Ninja blinked as the two were completely useless in helping him. Suddenly, he thought of something as he moved forward to the spinny wheels. He turned most of them to the blank spot, spelling out the word "Houndoom" on the wheels. But before he took his hands off of the wheels, thus marking his answer, he managed to trip on the floor which had nothing on it. He was so super smart like that.

In the process of tripping, Amanda fell down as well. Kawamura's hands ran over the eight characters that marked the word Houndoom before the guess could officially go through, and spun the wheels rapidly. The last three landed on blank letters, while the remaining five marked the word "Draat" as his official answer. And yet, he had no idea. All he did was rub his head and groaned. "Owwwww...."[/color] He said, rubbing the small bump that was forming.

Looking down at what he put, He silently agreed that that was the answer. Because well... He had read about Draats before and they did fit that riddle that was put on for them.

(OOC: Yeah I looked at things like that. Seems as good as any to me at this point; I looked it over but was like 'no, It's gotta be something with poison' I thought. Didn't exactly think of the potion effect for some reason. Sorry for not writing much, I hate it but there's really nothing to write about.)

Amarante watched all that happened and gave no fucks. She didn't care for riddles. In boredom the clone decided that it would entertain itself by setting the gourd down and forming some hand signs. She, the clone, then sat upon said gourd and began to hover off of the ground as her water manipulation technique began to take effect and allow her to do so. The clone then put her hands behind her head and relaxed, things like this were for the grunts to take care of.

Suiton no Tate (Shield of Water)
Rank: "C"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The Suiton no Tate acts in a manner similar to the Suna no Tate. By using water and combining it with the users chakra, they can allow it to move around the body to deflect small incoming projectiles or even use it for techniques.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: The shield can not really block taijutsu attacks, constantly absorbs a very very small amount of chakra.
Description: Small currents of water flow around the body of the user, capable of deflecting small jutsu or even extinguishing C-rank or lower katon techniques . This jutsu activates automatically unless the user himself chooses to "disable" the ability in a situation. Does not acquire the awareness of the user to defend (can block strikes that the user can't see, like the sand shield has been known to do).
Limit: Water Release

The letters clicked easily for Kawamura, falling easily into the name "Houndoom."

A loud click sounded, and the number dropped to two even as he fell, hand spinning the wheel again. Upon landing on the word 'Draat', the box snapped sharply open.

Within the chest, there was a plethora of weapons B rank and under, all from the items index, coming out to 5 slots of secondaries and 1 main weapon for each of them, should they divide the treasure fairly. Not counting any disposable cannon fodder named Amanda, of course.

Down the dark hall, faint music resounded, hinting of their next challenge. The more musically attuned would catch the hints of 'Thriller'.

[Kawamura Aokuro]

[Sorry for the lack of posting. The birth of a new baby in my family had taken up quite a bit of time and energy. But now that we've slightly adjusted to things, I shouldn't have this problem any further.]

As the chest opened, Kawamura's hands reached and grabbed all the weapons that were in there. "MINE!"[/color] He said as he hoarded the weapons. But then he heard music coming from down the hall and gasped before running off as quickly as possible.

"MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC"[/color] He shouted as he ran. Every step dropped one of the weapons until he had only his five slots of secondaries and one main weapon in his hand. He then remembered Amanda and turned around, heading back to her and helping her up before going back down the hall with the girl to see what was making the music.

[Claus Sadojin]

Claus facepalmed as the dude ran forward and dropped all sort of weapons. He dropped a giant sword which Claus jumped forward and caught. The sword was the First Tsurugi. . He saw a rather special sword (NOO TAKE BACKS!) and five lighting grenades. All of which were of the B-Rank weapon qualilty. He took out a massive sword, that would be so expensive if he hadn't gotten it for free here at these here chuunin exams. The weapons was indeed B-ranked and was in the Items index. The giant Six sword, It was six swords in one! What a find! Who would believe that he found the First Tsurugi here out of all places! He continued to walk down the hall with the guy and the little girl. The weight of the giant sword that came with a sheath and everything was on his back.

First Tsurugi (Å‰‚ÌŒ•)
Rank: C-S
Type: Main
Effect: Six Bladed Great Sword in where it separates into six other swords. What happens is if someone wishes to partake in a two weapon fighting they may be taking a piece out.
Special: The user must undergo a sort of training dedicated to the Sword itself. Reasons for this is because of how special the sword is. A "B" Class Character has the best chance into mastering the weapon to its full potential.
Drawback: Do to the weapon's massive size and weight it is quite difficult to wield the weapon properly. That is why it is best to go off and train into the weapon in order to be capable of using it properly. The weapon is somewhat of an eyesore as well, and quite dangerous looking so it may bring on lookers to watch and see.
Description: Picture, Picture This sword has various schematics and various components in which makes this sword very unique when it comes to handling it. Using various gear components as well as switches locks and various other types of systems helps this sword come together little by little. Let us go into more of in-depth perception of this sword so then we may have a better understanding as to how this sword works as well as have a better understanding as to why it is so unique. As mentioned before this sword has six pieces, in which all come together quite nicely. Now then let us go and dissect this sword shall we...

Chuushin Ken - Heart of the sword. This is where all of the components come together to become one. This massive part of the blade is what usually is about five to seven feet tall, depending on the height of the user. It looks somewhat small at first because of the fact that it looks thin. To give more of a girth of the blade a switch may be pressed to push out the blade giving it more of a girth and retro type of look. Some do not bother with this and let the blade stay retracted. Reason why is because it can become a hassle pushing the blade into one, and then piecing it together little by little. This piece may be the heart of the sword, but if used alone it is mostly known to be that of a blunt object, yet is great against defense.

Kyouko Ken - This piece is the strength of the sword, the danger point of the sword. This piece is quickly attached along the front end of the Chuushin piece. This piece is very different because the front end is basically all blades except for the small piece at the end near where the hilt is located at. When attached the user usually places the hilt and sword flat against the frontal end and quickly pushes forward allowing it to snap into place. Since this is mostly of a blade factor, it is usually used for offensive uses when used alone. Also the sword is usually about a foot or a foot and a half smaller then the Chuushin.

Kinkou Ken - There are two of these, which of course gives is it the accurate name known as the balances of the sword. Each are placed along the backside of the sword. Reasons why is to give the sword a better balance and easier capabilities to wield this sword. When placed onto the Chuushin each are placed on the left as well as the right. There is not protection towards the handle of these blades, but these are usually for subduing a foe or as a self defense type of weapon. Reason why is because there are no sharp edges along this sword. It looks like a large metallic blunt type of sword which makes it greatly dangerous. Usually the user grips a hold of the handle as he slams the swords into place along the backside of the Chuushin. The two Kinkous is about the same size as the Chuushin. Reasons why is because the end of the blades go upwards increasing the size slightly.

Ryou Ken - Their are two of these and are known as the finishing touches of the sword. They are of the size of small swords, or in a sense a wide mid blade. They have blades along them and stand about two or three feet. What is special about them is that they have a gear system in them. This gear system retracts the handle pushing it closer to the blade. Now what happens is that the user retracts the handles and places them, snapping them into place along the sides of the sword. They are mostly used for closer types of combat, and are used as deadly weapons.

Limit: User Must be a TaiJutsu Specialist, or a TaiJutsu Master who is capable of molding Chakra. This weapon is only capable of being obtained by an event, or by searching for the great Master Blacksmiths who are capable of creating the weapon.

Master Lee Fong - Old womanizer, drunken man. Usually one who finds a bottle to keep busy. He usually dresses in old ragged cloths that seems that of an old monk. The only way of getting him to make this sword is getting him extremely drunk, or by finishing some tasks of his, or really a massive favor. He currently resides within the country of Grass.

Master Amatsumara - A large one eyed Blacksmith with an enormous beard. He is a harsh man who loves to work with his hands. He might make the sword for the price but of course that is incredibly rare. He currently resides within the country of Thunder.

Cost: PiecesChuushin - 12000 Ryo; Kyouko - 11500 Ryo; Kinkou - 11000 Ryo Each; Ryou - 1700 Ryo Each...Total First Tsurugi (Å‰‚ÌŒ•) 48,000 Ryo

Grenade: Elemental: Lightning
Rank: "B"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A concussion grenade that releases the lightning element to shock opponents to death.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: The grenade explodes releasing a mass amount of lightning and electrical shock in a large area. The moment the grenade explodes it releases a massive ball of electrical current outwards from the point of origin. The grenade shocks and paralyzes an opponent for 3 rounds within 5 meters radius and shocks and paralyzes an opponent for 1 round within 15 meters radius from the point of origin. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 3,500 Ryo Each

Sorry, Claus, going to step in here and use my CE host authority. The weapon must of course be an Overview weapon. You perfectly know that the BFS aren't supposed to be obtained this way. Please adjust your post and make the main weapon you pick an overview weapon. I don't like people exploiting a gift like this, so do it quickly before I change my mind >.>

This thread needs to move. Claus, you keep the grenades, but the First Tsurigi fades into mist, and you now don't get a main weapon. Jimmyz, your post.

And as of this edit, Jimmyz has also missed the IIC, meaning only Tie receives the weapons.

Karamura would dash off down the hall, leaving his two stupefied teammates in the dust. The trail ahead of them would be lit by two dusty torches, leading into a glow.

Upon reaching the glow near the end of the tunnel, the music would suddenly appear to swell in volume, and the tunnel would fall away into a cavernous room. It was truly a massive space, about as wide in diameter as the Colleseum. The source of the music? A radio, placed in the dead center of the arena. The song? Thriller.

Nearly packing the arena full, was a massive horde of zombies. The humongous horde of the undead was dancing in a shuffling gait to the sound of Thriller in an endless dance. They hadn't noticed Kawamura yet, although they were bound to soon. What would he do?

[Kawamura Aokuro]

As Kawamura entered the room, he shoved the secondary weapons into his pouch and attached the sword to his side. He grinned as he looked to Amanda. "You're going to get me killed." She said with a chuckle as she wrapped her one arm and leg around him and hung on his back. He then looked to the dancing Zombies and his eyes grew wide. "Dance off! Lets do this!"[/color] He said as he started dancing in an open spot with the other zombies. He didn't dance very well, but he tried his best to dance along with them for a little bit.

That was, until he got bored and just started dancing all weird like, trying to look around the various zombies to see a way forward. He also looked back toward the door and wondered where the other two were and if they were going to come with him.

Claus ran down with Kawamura. Claus ran down with kawamura and saw the large amount of zombies. "OOHHHHH SSHHIIATT---- Well I don't have to worry about turning into a zombie. BUT STILL! OH SHIT!" Claus shouted. Alerting all of the zambies. To make up for his mistake, He shifted his apperance. He jumped down and shrinked into a pile of sand, starting to make his new appearence t look like one of those dancing zombies. He created 5 Sand clones that would look just like him who crowded around him. The sand from his gourd came out very inconspicously. The five sand clones started to groove just like the rest of the other zombies. Claus also ripped the floor up with his zombie friends.

Suna Bunshin no Jutsu (Sand Clone Technique)
Rank: "D" "C"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: The user is capable of creating clones by using the sand around them. Depending on how much sand the user has, and how well the user is capable of using this technique is dependent on how many clones the user is capable of creating. The C Rank version of this very technique allows the clones movement, and basic attacks such as punches and kicks, but no techniques. When first learned the user is capable of creating up to five Clones, this is for the D Rank Version. If the user learns the C Rank version they are capable of creating two clones. Each time learned for the D Rank Version of this technique the user is capable of creating two clones. Each time the user learns a C Rank version of this technique the user is capable of creating one extra clone.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: For D Ranks The Clones that are created are basically useless, only used as a destraction, only used to stand and can not be used to attack. The user can not learn more C Rank Versions of this technique then that of the D Rank Version of this technique.
Description: If the user has an abundance amount of sand along the ground the user is capable of focusing their chakra along the sand to where they are capable of controlling the sand's structure to create a vast amount of clones if capable.
Limit: Must have the Sand Release, Must know the Sand Control of D Rank. For every Ten Clones equals ten meters of Sand Needed.


Suna Sensu: Karada Souran (Sand Style: Body Control)
Rank: "C", "B"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to control and shape their body as they please.
Special: ---
Drawback: User can only make shapes and such up to their bodily size.
Description: User gains the ability to change their body and transform its shape as they see fit. User has a set amount of sand within their body they cannot have more then a set number, allowing them to have a human shape and form. They have mastered the shape and form so well, it allows them to make contours so that they not only appear to have skin and cloths, but it feels that very as well. They may also use it to regenerate lost limbs with either another sand source, of sand from the lost limb. This form at "C" Rank is always active, otherwise they would be nothing more then a pile of sand. They have been able to do this for so long however, the "C" Rank form of this technique only takes an "E"Rank amount of chakra per day. Thus, allowing them to keep this form forever. This technique also allows the user to perform some Sand techniques directly from their body. The "B"Rank Form of this technique simply allows them to take form of more advanced things. For example, a pile of sand, a giant arm, Drill, or whatever they can imagine, so long as the object does not go over their sand capacity.
Limit: Must be a Sadojin, Sand Release.

Jimmyz missed it again, and apologies for the wait guys. He's having computer troubles.

When Kawamura first yelled 'DANCE OFF' and ran into the middle, the zombies hardly cared. Nor did they entirely look at Claus from his yelling of obscenities. As Kawamura began dancing the thriller at first he'd instantly see the door on the other end of the arena. However, as his dancing of Thriller degenerated into simply flailing about wildly, the zombies would instantly notice.

The ones nearest him, if he didn't rectify his dancing quickly, would begin to charge at him. Unlike many other zombies, these moved swiftly, and it would take only seconds for them to close in on the two people, beating them soundly with their arms and claw-like nails.

There was a slight pause near the front as Claus yelled and then stood there, but as soon as his clones and zombie-disguise began dancing, he was disregarded, and the door at the other end of the hall would become visible.
