Type: Ninjutsu
Effect: C-Rank Effect: Creates a large beast like scorpion out of sand from the surrounding area which is able to attack with its tail, but burst on contact. This size would be equivalent to the size of a large tree. B-Rank Effect: Creates a larger scorpion that is completely immobile, but perfect for defense, as it is made out of virtually unbreakable rock, from hardened sand. This is basically a large statue, immobile and easily two times bigger then the C-ranked version.
A-Rank Effect: Creates a large perfect Scorpion out of sand into a virtually unbreakable substance. This scorpion can attack three times with its stinger and claws before bursting back into sand, however this makes for the perfect offense and defense for it blocks any attack automatically and on its own. This scorpion is the same size as the B-ranked version, but can stay up for as long as the user desires, and can even ride it.
Special: Ram, ox, horse, dragon, dog, horse, rat, serpent, hare, tiger.
Drawback: C-rank Drawback: Bursts back into sand upon contact of its own attack or any other attack. B-rank Drawback: Does not burst, but does however take excessive amounts of chakra to hold, the best time being 5 minutes by world record. A-Rank Drawback: Bursts after three hits, however takes not so much chakra to sustain, and is completely mobile.

Masaaki was sitting in a small area of sand, left by some careless other Sand jutsu user. He was across from one of his adoptive parents, who was attempting to hold his attention with an interesting jutsu.

Masaaki's mother formed handseals swiftly, her hands rocketing through the seals. Shortly after, the sand below them both rumbled, and a large scorpian coalesced in front of them both. Hissing loudly, it reared up slightly, slamming its stinger into the ground in front of Masaaki. Reaching out a hand, the young Genin felt the rock-hard compaction of the sand, eyes widening at the lack of give. It was incredibly hard, mobile, and powerful. A perfect weapon, especially for one as physically weak as the Onigami. Nodding excitedly, he clapped his hands in appreciation, the sand construct in front of him fading away into dust.

Eagerly smiling at his mother, he listened raptly as she talked. "There's three stages to this technique. Distraction, Defense, and Offense. What you just say was the third stage, we'll see if you have the patience to reach it. To begin the first one, I need you to form these handseals.."

And then she droned on about the 12~ handseals needed to form the first scorpion. Masaaki listened half-heartedly, paying attention only to the names and the order in which you had to perform them. When she finally ceased talking, he glanced at her, running through them swiftly to make sure she was appeased with his ability to perform them. Luckily, she was, and they then went into channeling the necessary chakra and how to channel it.

"Taking your Sand Control ability, you just need to form it into a scorpian. However, there's more to it then that. While correctly forming the shape, I need you to imbue it with your chakra, thus binding it into that form."

Nodding in understanding at her, Masaaki's hands flew through the needed handseals, ending and holding the final one. His pale red eyes narrowed in concentration as he emitted chakra out of his body into the ground beneath him. Sand rose up, although not in any shape yet. Art was not the Onigami's forte, and as such it was a shapeless blob with a large pole sticking out one end, and two smaller columns sticking out of the other end. A far cry from the detailed insect that had been conjured by his mother.

A disappointed whine escaped him at the sight, and he crossed his arms, breaking the handsign. The oddly-shaped construct in front of him stayed up by his mental control over the sand, while he attempted to form a scorpion from the currently shapeless blob. Starting with the large pole sticking out of its rear, he compacted the currently-loose sand into a thinner shape. From there, he carefully nudged the sand about, arcing it gracefully... Or so he thought.

The result at the moment was a large, arc of sand. Looking like a limp noodle, it was entirely useless. Frowning in frustration, he concentrated harder on the tail, allowing the rest of the sand to fall down to the dirt. Unable to correctly visualize a scorpion in his head, Masaaki was shooting blindly until it was correct. A memory flashed in his consciousness, the tail was arced upwards, with a large bulbous tip. With a flicker of thought, he rotated the sand structure, positioning it correctly. Working from the bottom up, he carefully segmented the tail to allow for the arcing movement of its strikes. Lines were carefully etched, digging into the slowly forming tail. The beginning of the tail done, Masaaki finally reached the tip.

The end of the scorpion's tail was its weapon, and thus large amounts of care had to be taken to ensure that it would prove effective. The segmented part of the tail was looking good, and this was the last piece before he moved on. First, the needed mass. Masaaki summoned up a large piece of sand, forming it into a rough circle as he did so. Floating swiftly upwards, the sand ball connected to the final segment of the tail. The sand mixed in, leaving a wrecking-ball looking device on the end for the moment. Staring intensely at it, Masaaki slowly shaved off the ends, focusing the sand taken from there to the tip of it, forming a long, thin spike. With careful manipulation of sand, he formed it into a fragile weapon: one that would likely break with the first strike. Nonetheless, he kept going. The scorpion that had been demonstrated to him earlier had a strange shape on the end of it, and while Masaaki didn't quite see the point of it, he was determined to match the example exactly. A hand raised, and flicked about in gestures as he carefully continued to shape the sand, making sure his mental control kept everything intact. With the increased manipulation, he was able to indent the shape, forming what would normally be the venom sac, but on a sand scorpion was just display.

Rotating the finished tail in the air, Masaaki glanced over at his instructor, looking for her approval. With a nod, she approved his work so far, and gestured for him to continue.

Moving the tail off to the side, he carefully set it down, while still keeping it in its regular shape. Next, the legs. From what he remembered, the legs were also segmented, and ended in a sharpish point that stabbed into the ground and helped stabilize it. Raising a hand, a large section of sand went with it, and coalesced into several long pole-like structures. Laying all but one lengthwise on the ground, he began his work again. With careful prods of his mind, he indented the sand, leaving creases that when combined, formed carefully lined segments. After creating several of these segments, he attempted to flex the leg to insure they worked as intended. Luckily, the leg bent easily with the creases, allowing him to flex it a fair distance, more then would ever be needed by the creature. Smiling in satisfaction, he began work on the last bit: the sharpened end.

In a whittling motion, Masaaki began to carefully 'sharpen' one end of the sand construct. Sand compacted in the end, forming a denser material that would better support the weight of the scorpion, and allow it to dig firmly into the dirt. As he compacted it, he thinned the end, forming a sharp tip. A thought occurred to him then, that it would probably break from extended use if he left it that sharp. With that in mind, he blunted the end. It was still a fair point, but not to the same extent of the stinger he'd formed for the tail.

It was close, Masaaki could feel it. The first of the legs was done, only.. seven.. more.. to.. go..

An exasperated sigh escaped him, and he set to work again. The one finished leg was moved off to the left, next to the complete tail. Lifting up another section of sand that was to be a leg, Masaaki began his work again. His right hand raised, etching lines in the air that were then imprinted on the sand; forming the segments that was needed for the leg to correctly move. When the lines were drawn, he clenched his fist, curling the leg to make sure the segments were correct.

This time, unfortunately, they weren't, and the middle of the leg snapped apart from the rest of the construct. Blinking in surprise, Masaaki exhaled shortly in annoyance. Bringing his hands together, the two halves re-combined, and then he began to correctly put the segment in. Comparing the lines in this one to the previous one, his eyes widened as he realized where he'd messed up. He'd put the joint on the wrong side. Herp-a-derp.

It was a simple matter to fix that, and this time, the flex worked out much better.

Raiton – Shishikyu Funzen (Thunder Style – Shocking Tiger’s Wrath)
Rank: A
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Creates five large tigers comprised of pure raiton essence. Once birthed, they can move at decent speeds, and can defend the user form attacks, as well as attack others. A direct strike from these tigers renders the victim's body numb for a turn, and receiving a full blast from a kamikaze strike leaves the victim’s body numb for three turns. As a bonus, the user can hold the last handseal of the sequence as they look at their desired target, allowing them to order whatever remaining live tigers to converge all at once onto that target.
Special: ‘Handseals’ – Hold ‘tiger’ seal for convergence.
Drawback: Does not discriminate against friend or foe. When using the convergence attack, the user must hold the ‘tiger’ handseal until the tigers hit the target. If not, they will stop attacking them briefly and go back to whatever it is that they were doing. Amount of tigers striking victim during convergence does not stack shocking damage penalties; it merely ensures they'll hit with a higher percentage. Each tiger created costs a single 'C' rank of upkeep per turn. If handseal for convergence is not used, tigers attack enemy generally as best as they can, outside of the user's control.
Description: The Shishikyu technique allows the user to use their prowess in the raiton arts in order to create several tigers consisting purely of raiton energy. Dark blue and constantly shining, these tigers move fast to strike their target, and can swipe quickly as an attack. Only attacks that can disrupt their essence can hurt them, and they carry an ultimate attacks which involves the user holding a particular handseal so that they can all converge on a particular enemy, and hurt it greatly.

Daichi would hit the scene and realize that at this sandy field was that kid again...the annoying one...the oone who pulled his pant's down and used that genjutsu to play a joke on him. Daichi's brow arched up as the idiotic memory flashed through his brain. He was currently learning a new technique and as he saw the kid practicing some techique of his own he wondered if he could show off and make an idiot of this guy by throwing his own attack at him. And So Daichi would stand off back about twenty meter's and take a knee while preparing some hand seals. After making over about 24 hand seals in a really slow progression, Daichi would then hold the last seal to cause a sudden gathering of sparks t appear in front of him which would coagulate quickly to forge the shape of a glowing blue tiger of pure raiton essence. The stripes could be seen as white, while the rest of the tiger was colored blue neon (which would be orange on a normal tiger). The tiger would look immediatley to the boy yonder, and let out a very loud growl.

Daichi would then wait to watch the results as the tiger began to walk forward growling menacingly.

Masaaki was happily crafting his scorpion when a loud growl sounded out from behind him. Blinking in confusion he poured chakra to his eyes, the tiger and man behind it flashing into his sight range. He seemingly ignored the two, confident in his sands ability to protect him. A flick of his thought, and the giant sand tail lifted, floating out behind his back where it rested, the sharp point facing the tiger. Just as a failsafe, Masaaki clenched a fist, compacting the sand until it was harder then rock, combining the various type of earth inside the sand into a singular object. With that done, he continued to shape the legs.

The third pole lifted, and he just vaguely waved a hand at it. Lines etched themselves into the shape, along with small edges being shaved off to give it the arachnid-like appearance it needed. Pinching his fingers, he tapered a point, then stabbed the leg into the ground, where it stood as though lost from a giant sand-insect. He didn't bother facing the two behind him, as they were fully in his sight.

Daichi stayed kneeling where he was watching with his lethargic expression like always. He set his right elbow on his sword hilt which jutted diagnolly from his belt sheath at the small of his back. He watched the tiger wondering why it wouldn't run over there like he wanted...this seemed kinda lame on his part and he began growing frustrated; a thought went to using that technique he was training last time with the kid, but then he felt that would be a cruel way to attack someone who wasn't aware of his prescence. He seemed content to simply build some sort of sand...thingy? And as he watched a sand scorpion made tail was placed behind his back by the boy...almost as if he anticipated this. That's when Daichi remembered something about the special team assignment of doujutsu user's... Daichi wasn't sure but his mind deduced that the kid may have heard the loud tiger and detected them via doujutsu? What eye technique could see like this though. Daichi had little knowledge of other bloodlimits and clans besides his own and the kage's.

The tiger would finally get close enough to Masaak'is back and seeing the floating strange tail stinger the tiger would begin to stalk around to Masaaki's left side, trying to stay away from that tail which seemed unorthodox and weird. it's voice let out a low mencing growl, preparing to pounce on Masaaki. Daichi began to chuckle as he watched. he pulled out a bag of sun flower seed's and would begin walking up casually popping a few in his mouth. "This...should be good..."

Masaaki waited until the tiger was within 10 meters, his minimum of Sand Control. At that point, the tail would 'fall' over, the sharpened point aimed directly at the tiger's neck. Even if the creature would dodge, the tail would move with it, scything to whatever side it attempted to flee too. Hopefully, the mass of sand would be enough to disrupt its essence, as the large chunk of earth would be grounded.

Whilest this was going on, the young Onigami was happily shaping the rest of his sand, the combat behind him happily ignored. Another leg was lifted shortly after the first was stuck into the dirt, and the cycle began anew. Fingers twisted in complex patterns as sand was whittled away from the pole, leaving only a segmented leg when it was finished. He clenched a fist, and the leg bent easily with the segments. If the scorpions tail hadn't finished the fight with the tiger, then this leg would arc over, acting as a giant sand dart as it stuck in the sand between Masaa. He was almost done forming the scorpion, and was greatly irritated that someone was interrupting his carving.

Picking up the largest mass of sand he could, he began to form its body, skipping the other legs for the moment. A hand clenched, compressing the large ball of dirt easily.

Daichi would be watching ahead as he came cloe enough at about 11 meter's now and would watch his tiger moving stealthily around the stinger. Then he'd watch as the stinger angled down and scythed around to catch it in a lateral manner. The tiger would growl sharply while leaping back in a agile and swift manner, turning to duck low with it's haunches raised flaring it's teeth like a real tiger about to pounce from the strange floating thing that struck at it. Daichi would watch the tiger and duck down to a sitting position as he watched the tiger advanced in a stalking manner now, trying to creep around the floating stinger. Daichi thought about this for a few moment's and then realized he could prolly make another one. And that's what he would doo too. His hand's flew through the seals, and then on the onigami's right would appear another bunch of coagulating sparks which would form the body of another raiton tiger.

This tiger would growl out loudly as well and leer at Masaaki from this side. It would immediatley rush forward to the onigami after growling and leap into an attack, while the other would see his comrade jump ad make its move as well form the left. If hit away the tiger's would fly away, as only a truly piercing or other disruption attack done to the tiger's body would kill them. Daichi would then eat some more sunflower seed's, trying to get a look at what the kid was Building. It seemed to be some kind of scorpion the way the leg's looked and the stinger floating in the air. The sand release eh? Haven't seen this one yet until now...this is new to me... Daichi would think to himself.

From his vision range, Masaaki saw the sparks begin to coalesce on his right side. His feet shifted, pushing himself up as he flickered, fading away to leave the tigers to pounce on the empty ground. Unfortunately, as he did so, he left the range of his sand control, and the sand pieces dissolved into dust. Sighing in annoyance, he began to form his handseals again, moving swiftly through the chain.

When he finished, he slammed his hands into the dirt, and sand shot upwards. The massive plume would obscure vision for a split second, and when it faded would leave.. a shitty scorpion. It was a shapeless blob, with several odd objects sticking out of it. Instead of a tail, a long mound of sand extended backwards. Instead of legs, raised sand was there. Luckily, however, the density of the body was up to par, and should the tigers try to simply go through the scorpion, they'd hit a hard chunk.

Daichi watched his two tiger's land in empty space, where the sand seemed to simply dissolve into nothingness. At this he would immediatley surmise that the kid had an ability to sense without looking away. weird...the kid just acted like he wasn't even here or being attacked by shining blue raiton tiger's. This time Daichi would just watch as the tiger's moved towards the onigami and yet circled around his scorpion creation this time. the big thing was now a whole solid piece of creation and this large structure, though shitty looking, made the tiger's think about attacking it. to them the thing was a tangible creature able to fear them, and so they thought more about approaching the sand beast for inspection.

Daichi slightly frowned at this, because he wasn't sure if their actions where motivated by food...he wasn't sure how these tiger's where even sentient. Yet he did know that they did not act according to mental command like clones did and so the tiger's where literally made with malicious intent. From this understanding Daichi surmised that it was an intent to attack anything construed as a suitable sentient being...which meant it was designed like a homing jutsu yet did not have the specifics to locate any desired target on its own...unless. "I wonder if..." Daichi would think out loud as he held up the tiger seal and looked at the scorpion structure. As he did this the tiger's would suddenly hunker low in unison and then begin running full speed to the scorpion structure. They would both let out loud yell's as they leaped into the air over the scorpion and then miraculously they would dive straight into the scorpion structure and upon colliding they would disperse into blazing explosions of raiton which arced fantasically over the scorpions body in a large and extravagent display of some VERY potent looking arcs of wreathing coursing raiton.

The scorpion seemed to sit there like a solid tank, and even after a few moments the body would still ripple with the signs of raiton still coursing over it's body.

Daichi would sit there looking straight dumbfounded as he had no idea that this technique would react in that manner. His father had been holding out on the effects and design of these higher class techniques within the scrolls kept back at home. First the shining claw overcome...and now raiton tiger's which could home in on a target and nuke them. "Well now...Looks like I've discovered another useful ability..."

Masaaki was completely unconcerned about the tigers. Instead, it was the shoddiness of the scorpion that bothered him. Sitting down again, still not facing Daichi, he raised his right hand. As he did so, the crap-tastic tail moved as well, moving inward to connect to the hard core within the body of the scorpion. Once it had done so, Masaaki would clench his fist, condensing the sand forming the tail into a hard material.

From there, he began to shape it. Rotating his wrist, and flicking his fingers expertly, he notched lines into the tail, forming segments. The leftover sand from that trailed upwards, gathering near the end of the tail. From there, it would form what would normally be the venom sac. A small, oval-shaped ball with a long, thin, and quite scary-looking protrusion. The tail now looked quite realistic, aside from the fact that it was obviously made of sand.

Continuing on from there, Masaaki began to form the legs into something other then simply lines on the sand. Condensing parts of the sand patch, he raised them up and connected them to the pain body, leaving a mound with a tail and four rock-hard poles extending from it.

Daichi would watch the tiger's self destruct, and then would look at Masaaki's back wondering why this kid wouldn't turn around. Dammit, what is this kids problem! Daichi would think in his mind about this as he made some more hand seals and looked right at the Onigami with a furrowed brow this time. Suddenly from the air around his body, Daichi would cause three plumes of coagulating and body forming sparks of raiton. This would cause the formation of three tigers around him. Once he would make the three tigers Daichi would put his hands together and hold the tiger seal once again. The three tiger's would begin to growl loudly before rushing forward in a triple figure zig zag pattern. As they came at him their bodies would crackle and sizzle with the sound of raiton sparks trailing behind them.

Then uppon reaching Masaaki they would leap into the air all at once avoiding any formation of a sand scorpion and attempt to land on his body in a pouncing manner. If they succesfully latchhed onto Masaaki's body they would literally combusted into giant flashes of raiton explsoion covering the kid in enough raiton to leave him writhing in paralysis and...probably...dead...yep he'd probably die if he got struck by these things. Which Daichi suddenly thought about and this made him freak out right when they jumped and he grabbed his hair with a panic expression as he thought he might have really just screwed up extremely bad. "OH SHIT DUDE MOVE!" Daichi would scream out loud, suddenly worried beyond containment

This kid didn't really have a problem. He just didn't need to turn around. Three new bolts of lightning had formed, and were beginning to coalesce into tigers. Masaaki sighed in annoyance, and began his own string of handseals. His opponent could obviously manipulate the tigers, so he had to time this perfectly. As they closed in on him, he inhaled slowly, finishing the string of handseals.

As they 'tensed' to jump, Masaaki slammed his hands into the ground. He pulsed out his chakra, channeling a large amount of it into the formation of his last defense. Over-extending the amount of energy he felt was needed, he used it to shape the creation as it explosively emerged from the ground. A scorpion, nearly as large as a house erupted from the ground, with Masaaki nestled between its massive claws that provided shelter. If the tigers were at all close to him, they would be raised into the air as well, throwing off their pounce.

If they were a little further away, then hopefully the large claws would interrupt their pounce, and if all else failed, masaaki would be forced to use another shunshin forward.

Daichi would watch his tiger's run forth and assault. The three of them would come running in a zig zag, interlacing their dashes forward at a full tiger's sprint. As they would leap upwards and into the air, the raiton cats would converge to Masaaki only to have gotten hit by the sand scorpion. Daichi would watch the tiger's land on the sandy scorpion as it formed with their paws, but tiger's where naturally agile, and naturally they chose to attack most prey by jumping on them. So they simply landed on the shell and claws and then bounded off the scorpion and ran away from it in a wide circle and came back around to look at the kid Masaaki as he was trapped inside the scorpions claws. Or more so shielded in them.

Daichi would look over to the scorpion and then wonder about it and how hard it probably was.And that was what would make Daichi form the hand seals to summon two more tiger's, extending his chakra in order to form enough in order to attack the stone scorpion with. Daichi would look at the stone scorpion and watch his two other tigers join the battle. Upon getting over to their Daichi would hold the tiger seal and make the tiger's converge again; this time they would circle around tactically and try to sneak under the claws and crawl over them in order to reach Masaaki. Daichi squinted now in spite, wondering how tough this hulking scorpion was.

The tigers were luckily rebuffed by the scorpion, but Masaaki wasn't about to let them escape. Before one could attempt to leave the 10 meter radius, he'd lift sand, powering a large sand wave through the lightning beast. It'd receive no warning, a large wave of sand would simply raise straight up underneath it.

When the tigers left, Masaaki would dismiss the giant scorpion as it was a massive drain on chakra. The rock-hard structure would simply.. collapse. Where a scorpion that epitomed defense once stood, there now remained simply a pile of sand. Deciding to make his move, Masaaki pushed himself up. Whirling on a heel, he used his final shunshin forward, putting himself closer to Dubcheck.

Sure by now that the tigers would be moving in again, he began to form handseals. Wherever the tigers were, a Sand Scorpion would rise to intercept them. Masaaki took the time to pour a massive amount of chakra into this creation, and the result was a scorpion as large as a house blocking the tigers path quite excellently. Frowning at Dubcheck, Masaaki would begin new handseals, more for fun this time. If allowed to finish them, Dub would feel his arms, right leg, and head freeze immediately.

The tiger's would land on a rising mass of sand before landing on the scorpion which again...was just a bunch of sand which they landed on with the agile manner of a tiger. They quickly bounded off from this and landed seemingly on a suddenly discarded and melting sand scorpion, while Masaaki dissapeared through the mess and ended up closer to Daichi. The Kazeraikou immediately stood up and leaped into a triple back handspring to gain more distance as he did not want to be close to another one of those scorpions. This was made susceptible when Masaaki appeared and began forming new hand seals in front of Daichi. The Kazeraikou also noticed that this time the genin had revealed his Doujutsu, meaning that his skepticism was right...this kid had potent detection powers.

And so Daichi stood up on his feet and then held his tiger seal causing the tiger's to come running for Masaaki's back, while a scorpion rose from the ground behind Masaaki to block them it seemed. But instead the tiger's would very easily, and once again...agily, dash right around the scorpion the sizze of a house, and dart towards Masaaki's back with terrifying speed. They would let out a bone chilling roar in unison as they closed in on the kid. right while he performed handseals to freeze Daichi's limbs. The thing here was if his limb's where succesfully frozen, then he'd still hold the tiger seal with the tigers permanently zeroing in on Masaaki which...would kill him. Then again the tiger's might have alarmed him and he might move, not finishing the paralysis jutsu and letting Daichi go, while avoiding the tiger's somehow.

Daichi could see Masaaki prepping hand seals anew, but he also saw the tiger's almost close enough to pounce...it would be a tense moment indeed.
